ONAM 2012, NOTICIAS DE PUTTAPARTHI:
Om Sri Sai Ram querida Familia Sai.
"Onam" el hermoso festival del "país de Dios", Kerala, fue celebrado con un montón de felicidad y dicha en la "Tierra de Dios", Puttaparthi. La Organización Sai de Kerala había planeado un programa de 3 días este año y el tercer día fue el punto culminante de Onam este año, cuando todo el grupo de devotos de Kerala apareció en las calles de Puttaparthi, como parte de su " Maha Nagar Sankeertan". Este concepto de "Maha nagar Sankeertan" ha ganado mucho interés entre los grupos de visitantes a Parthi en el pasado reciente, pero si uno tuviera que clasificar todo el "Maha Naga Sankeertansr" hasta ahora, habrá un solo nombre que viene a la mente y es Kerala.
Había tanta variedad en su programa. Todos los acontecimientos importantes, las tradiciones, los rituales de Kerala fueron traídos justo enfrente de nuestros ojos, y el pueblo de Puttaparthi llegó a estar quieto viendo toda la procesión con gran atención.
El programa de una hora larga, que comenzó en el Templo de Hanuman, y terminó en la puerta de Ganesh, fue simplemente fantástico ver a la hermosa cultura de Kerala "caminar" justo enfrente de nuestros ojos.
Si hay un lugar en este mundo donde Onam se celebra de forma magnífica por parte de Kerala, es sin duda Puttaparthi. Todo el ambiente parecía como si Swami estuviera muy cerca físicamente. Todo el crédito debe ir al Prof. Mukundan, Presidente de la Organización Sai del Estado de Kerala, y su dedicado equipo que mostró una devoción tan fantástica y hecho con mucha dedicación.
Los programas musicales, obras de teatro, danza, charlas del Hon.Juez Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan y otros, fueron muy inspiradoras.
Hace muchos años, Swami había hablado personalmente en uno de sus discursos sobre la calidad de los programas de Kerala, ya sean en presentaciones musicales, de danza o dramas. Esta "calidad" se mantiene en gran medida, lo que de nuevo, es sólo su gracia.
Otro gran proyecto divino realizado por la Organización Sri Sathya Sai de Kerala es un centro especial de rehabilitación para todos los pacientes operados en los hospitales de Super Especialidades de Swami en Puttaparthi y Bangalore, proveyendo todo el cuidado necesario post-operatorio de los pacientes. Este proyecto ha servido y salvado a tantos pacientes operados en los hospitales de Super Especialidades de Swami y este seva es definitivamente insuperable ..
SRI SATHYA SAI GIRI PRADIKHINA:
Este mes de agosto es muy singular, al ser testigos de un fenómeno raro de dos lunas llenas en un mes. Como muchos ya saben, Sri Sathya Sai Giri Pridikshina, la circumbalacion de Prashanti Nilayam, a partir de la puerta de Ganesh, dando la vuelta al ashram entero (por el exterior) y terminando en la puerta de Ganesh, comenzará a las 18:00 el 31 de agosto. Los devotos que están acampando en Prashanti ahora pueden utilizar esta oportunidad de "Caminar sobre el suelo sagrado que ha sido santificado por los Divinos Pies de Loto de nuestro amado Señor".
PROGRAMA EN SEPTIEMBRE, SAAMUHIKA UPANAYAM:
"Upanayana" literalmente significa "llevar o estar cerca". También significa "introducir al principiante a la etapa de estudiante". Upa significa "acercarse hacia, por el lado de". Nayanam significa "liderar, dirigir, traer".
Upanayam o la ceremonia del cordón, es la sanskara (ritual) que se lleva a cabo para marcar el comienzo de estudiante como Brahmacharya, para un niño Brahmin, Kshatriya o Vaishya, para formalizar su elegibilidad para leer y estudiar los libros sagrados.
Antes de la ceremonia, un niño de cualquier casta que se considere "una vez nacido" o Shudra . Con la ceremonia de la Upanayam, se convierte en "nacido dos veces", o dvija.
Este rito de iniciación marca su segundo nacimiento espiritual después de su nacimiento físico, ya que no sólo está él ahora admitido a los privilegios de su casta por la sociedad en general, también se embarca en la adolescencia.
Bajo la guía de Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, la Sri Sathya Sai Organiation de Karnataka está llevando a cabo esta ceremonia del cordón sagrado en Sai Kulwanth Hall el 26 y 27 de septiembre. El proceso de inscripción ya está en marcha y me dijeron que la fecha límite para la recepción de los formularios de solicitud se ha extendido por otros 3 días. "Onam" the beautiful festival of "God's own country" Kerala was celebrated with tons of happiness and bliss in "God's Own Land", Puttaparthi. The Kerala Sai Organisation had planned a 3 day programme this year and the third day was the highlight for this year's Onam, when the whole Kerala group of devotees came out in the streets of Puttaparthi as part of their "Maha Nagar Sankeertan". This concept of "Maha nagar sankeertan" has gained lot of interest among visiting groups to Parthi in the recent past, but if one had to rate all the "Maha Nagar Sankeertans" so far, there will be just one name that would come to mind and that is Kerala. There was so much variety in their programme. All the major happenings, traditions, rituals of Kerala were brought right infront of your eyes and the whole of Puttaparthi came to stand still watching the whole procession with rapt attention. The one hour long programme that started at Hanuman Temple ended up at Ganesh gate and it was just fantastic to watch the beautiful culture of Kerala "walking" right infront of your eyes. If there is any place in this world where Onam is celebrated in such a grand way out side Kerala, it is undoubtedly Puttaparthi. The whole atmosphere seemed as if Swami was very much around physically. All credit should go to Prof.Mukundan, State President of Kerala Sai Organisation and his devoted team for displaying such a fantastic devotion and making every one more devoted.
The musical programmes, dance dramas, talks by Hon.Justice Thottathil B.Radhakrishnan and others were very inspiring. Many years ago, Swami had personally mentioned in one of His discourses about the Quality of Kerala programmes be it musical presentations, dance or Dramas. This "Quality" was very much maintained which again is only His grace.
Another major divine project taken up by the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation of Kerala is a special rehabilitation center for all the patients operated in Swami's Super Speciality hospitals in Puttaparthi and Bangalore providing all the post operative care needed for patients. This project has served and saved so many patients operated in Swami's Super Speciality hospitals and this seva is definitely second to none..
SRI SATHYA SAI GIRI PRADIKHINA:
This month of August is very unique as we witness a rare phenomena of two full moons in one month. As many are already aware, Sri Sathya Sai Giri Pridikshina, cicumambulating of Prashanthi Nilayam starting from Ganesh gate and going round the whole ashram (from outside) and ending at Ganesh gate will commence at 6PM on August 31st. Devotees who are camping in Prashanthi right now may utilise this opportunity to "Walk on the holy soil that has been sanctified by the Divine Lotus feet of our beloved Lord".
SAAMUHIKA UPANAYANAM PROGRAMME IN SEPTEMBER:
"Upanayana" literally means "leading or taking near". It also means "introducing the novice to the stage of studenthood". Upa means "approaching towards, by the side of". Nayanam means "leading, directing, bringing".
Upanayanam or the thread ceremony is the sanskara (ritual) performed to mark the beginning of studenthood or Brahmacharya ashram for a Brahmin, Kshatriya orVaishya boy, to formalise his eligibility to read and study the sacred books. Prior to the ceremony, a child of any caste is considered "once-born" or a Shudra. With the performance of the Upanayanam, he becomes "twice-born". or dvija. This initiation rite marks his second, spiritual birth after his first physical one, for not only is he now admitted to the privileges of his caste and into society in general, but also embarks on adolescence.
Under the guidance of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri Sathya Sai Organiation of Karnataka is conducting this sacred thread ceremony in Sai Kulwanth Hall on September 26 and 27.
