Dearest Brothers and Sisters, With Bhagawan's Grace, I pray that each and every one of you are keeping well. What a busy few weeks we have had, with several Aradhana Mahotsavam programmes happening around the United Kingdom in April, and then last weekend we celebrated National Easwaramma Day in person after 3 years. I was totally moved to see over 500 devotees attending and each Region's Bal Vikas children presenting their offerings to Bhagawan and Mother Easwaramma, either on stage or via a prerecorded video. Mother Easwaramma was an example of a simple and kindhearted person, qualities which we see in the Bal Vikas children. The joy on each of the children's faces was so heartwarming, especially after seeing their brothers and sisters after such a long time. Mothers are responsible for the wellbeing of their children. They also show the spiritual path to their children. So, never forget your mother. To set an ideal in this regard, I used to visit the Samadhi of My parents on My birthday. Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. 31 Ch. 40, November 19, 1998 It is lovely to hear that more and more centres and groups are opening up again and that several more devotees are able to attend local celebrations in person. At the National Office Bearers' Conference back in February, during a meeting with Centre and Group Presidents, we all agreed that it would be great for the National Council to meet Centre/Group Presidents periodically during the year, and so I am really looking forward to our next meeting on Saturday 21st May. We have a full edition of Love and Light this month, with updates from different events as well as the recent Summer Showers series. I pray to Bhagawan that He continues to give us opportunities to serve Him. Jai Sai Ram Ketan Gokani |
