Mientras Swami pasaba junto a los mostradores de comida con deliciosas platos de Malasia y Tamil, una de las damas le hizo un dulce especial de Malasia que consistía en hielo triturado, leche de coco, jarabe de azúcar moreno y nueces.  Mirando la receta con varios ingredientes líquidos, mientras la dama agregaba el jarabe, Swami comentó: "Raso Vai Saha", Dios es el Rasa o esencia de todo, eso es lo que dicen las Escrituras.  Pero el verdadero significado es que Dios es el gusto de todo. Sin Dios, la vida sería insípida, pero con Dios es sabrosa, como este postre con el jarabe.  RASO VAI SAHA significa que DIOS ES EL SABOR DE LA VIDA! ¿Podría esta más grande verdad de la vida espiritual, exponerse tan sencillamente, clara y con buen gusto, que esta.?, me pregunté. ¡Swami no deja una sola oportunidad de enseñar la verdad! Sí, ciertamente, Él es el sabor de todas nuestras vidas, porque sin Él nuestras vidas habrían sido absolutamente insípidas y sin valor alguno! CELEBRACIONES DEL DÍA DE LA INDEPENDENCIA - SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI - 15 DE AGOSTO DE 2017   15 º de agosto- El Día de la Independencia - amaneció brillante y soleado. Ubicado en medio de las colinas, los vientos frescos soplando, y las nubes que forman una copa protectora de arriba, Sri Sathya Sai Grama era una colmena de actividad mientras los estudiantes de los campus aquí se preparaban para celebrar el día con Bhagavan. El desfile debía ser sostenido en la tierra delante del Hridaya Mandir y los preparativos estaban en el oscilación completa. Las prácticas habían estado sucediendo durante un mes, y finalmente, después de todos los esfuerzos agitados, el momento estaba sobre ellos, mientras esperaban con impaciencia la llegada de su amado Bhagavan. Swami llegó a las 10 am, y subió al podio. Sri Narayan Rao, presidente del Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Trust, entonces izó la tricolor, mientras que la banda de estudiantes tocaba el Himno Nacional. Discurso divino SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRACIONES - SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI - 14 DE AGOSTO DE 2017. La ocasión auspiciosa de Sri Krishna Janmashtami fue celebrada en Sri Sathya Sai Grama en la presencia Divina de Bhagavan por los estudiantes, el personal y los devotos, con la alegría y el fervor tradicionales. En la mañana del 14 º de agosto a las 9:30 de la mañana, Swami es acompañado al Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham por una procesión encabezada por un grupo de estudiantes cantando los Vedas , que fueron seguidos por tradicionales Gopalas con sus vestimentas típicas, acarreando un palanquín que lleva el ídolo del Señor Krishna. Fue llevado al Salón por un grupo de estudiantes cantando los Vedas , mientras el salón reverberaba con Bhajans a Krishna, cantados por los estudiantes de los campus de muchachos y chicas- sobrecargando la atmósfera con vibraciones sagradas. Dijo que los encontraría en un templo más tarde en la mañana. Después del desayuno, Swami bendijo a unos afortunados devotos con entrevistas, y como oyó que los bhajans se cantaban fervientemente en el Salón de Satsang, un piso arriba, su devoción lo atrajo a ellos. Swami ordenó a un arquitecto que había orado durante muchos años para construir y servir a los enfermos, para que hablara. El arquitecto devoto habló acerca de la gracia de Swami en su vida durante los momentos más débiles y reveló que había orado para que se construyera un hospital para servir a los pobres y ahora por voluntad de Swami se está proyectando un Hospital en Bali, que será construido muy pronto. Luego, instó a todos a participar en el auspicioso Seva . La emoción y el entusiasmo de los devotos era palpable mientras todos se regocijaban con las buenas nuevas. Para la juventud Sai de Malasia fue el día D! Finalmente el día había llegado - Mañana Inaugural de los dos días de Reunión de Jovenes Asia Pacifico 2017!  300 jóvenes de ocho países habían llegado, y esperaban con entusiasmo estar en presencia de su amado Señor Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Bhagawan se sirvió el desayuno en su habitación de arriba en la casa del Dr. Vimala y el hermano Ayavoo Arumugam, que fue nombrada como "Sai Amrutham" - la esencia nectarina de Sai, por el propio Señor Sai.  El hermano Madhusudan más tarde reveló que Swami estaba muy ansioso por conocer a toda la juventud, y en toda su emoción se dirigió a Sai Ananda, el Ashram de Kuala Lumpur. Sai Ananda es un testimonio de la determinación de un hombre de servir a la sociedad. Ya que comenzo humildemente en un templo en ruinas hace 25 años, Sai Ananda ha tocado la vida de miles de necesitados y pobres. Hoy en día, se erige como un faro de luz para muchas personas. Se establecieron campamentos médicos, puestos de distribución de medicamentos y raciones, y todos los jóvenes estaban deseosos de formar parte de este noble Seva . Swami se dirigió a Sai Ananda a las 10:30 am desde Sai Amrutham. Caminó por todo el recinto de Sai Ananda, bendiciendo todas las actividades de Seva . Desde la donación de sangre a los estudios de ojos, de los chequeos dentales a la medicina general, cada centímetro de espacio en Sai Ananda estaba zumbando con la actividad. Swami también bendijo a los voluntarios en la cocina, mientras hacía una visita sorpresa para ver todos los alimentos que estaban siendo preparados para Narayana Seva. Swami sirvió amorosamente a unas pocas personas, antes de proceder a entregar raciones secas a algunos de los necesitados. Después de bendecir a todos profusamente, Swami procedió a la residencia de un viejo devoto Dato Yeoh, que estaba a una hora en coche de Sai Ananda. Swami junto con sus estudiantes, personal y huéspedes elegidos llegaron a Sai Lotus, ubicado en Janda Baik en el regazo de la madre naturaleza. In this issue, we bring you a report on the ''Seventy First Independence Day' celebrations held on August 15, 2017 and 'Sri Krishna Janmashtami' Celebrations held on August 14, 2017 at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli.   The final part of Bhagawan's visit to Singapore, Bali and Malaysia from August 07 to August 13, 2017 has also been presented. In this week's INNER VIEW, Brother Madhusudan Naidu shares an interesting moment which happened between the Lord and a devotee. - Sathya Sai Grama Communications Team.  INNER VIEW By Sri Madhusudan Naidu Raso Vai Saha    As Swami finished the inaugural function of the two-day Asia Pacific Youth Meet at Sai Ananda Ashram at Kuala Lumpur, He proceeded downstairs to the dining area for the next important aspect after the meeting, which is eating as He often jokes. As Swami walked past the food counters with delicious Malaysian and Tamil cuisines, one of the ladies made Him a special Malaysian sweet that consisted of crushed ice, coconut milk, brown sugar syrup, and nuts. Looking at the recipe with several liquid ingredients, as the lady added the syrup, Swami remarked , "Raso Vai Saha", God is the Rasa or essence of everything, that is what the scriptures say. But the true meaning is that God is the taste of everything. Without God, life would be tasteless but with God it's tasty, just like this dessert with the syrup. RASO VAI SAHA means GOD IS THE TASTE OF LIFE! Could this greatest truth of spiritual life be put more simply, clearly and tastefully than this, I wondered. Swami does not leave a single opportunity to teach the truth! Yes indeed, He is the taste of all our lives, for without Him our lives would have been absolutely tasteless, and worthless!  INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS - SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI - AUGUST 15, 2017   15th of August- The Independence Day – dawned bright and sunny. Nestled amidst the hills, cool winds blowing, and clouds forming a protective canopy overhead, Sri Sathya Sai Grama was a beehive of activity as students from campuses here readied to celebrate the day with Bhagawan. The parade was to be held at the ground in front of Hridaya Mandir and preparations were on in full swing. The practices had been going on for a month, and finally, after all the hectic efforts, the moment was upon them, as they eagerly awaited the arrival of their beloved Bhagawan. Swami came to the ground at 10 a.m , and ascended the podium. Sri Narayan Rao, Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Trust then hoisted the tricolour, while the students brass band played the National Anthem. Thereafter the contingents from the girls’ and boys’ campuses conducted the march past, paying their obeisance to their Lord, and offering their salutes to the National Flag. The brass band was playing for the first time. Considering that they had learnt to play the instruments very recently, it can be concluded that it was their love for Bhagawan, and His grace that had enabled them to give the wonderful performance. To know more, click HERE Hoisting the Indian National Flag March past by the girls students Divine discourse SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS - SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI-  AUGUST 14, 2017 The auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at Sri Sathya Sai Grama in the Divine presence of Bhagawan by the students, staff and devotees with traditional gaiety and fervour. On the morning of 14th August, at 9:30 a.m, Swami was escorted to Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham by a procession led by a group of students chanting the Vedas, who were followed by traditonally attired Gopalas carrying a palanquin bearing the idol of Lord Krishna. And finally came the Gopalas, leading the beautifully bedecked cows- so dear to the Lord. On reaching Premamrutham, Swami stepped out of the car, and walked towards the waiting Gopalas. After speaking to each of them individually, He turned his attention towards the cows- feeding each one of them, thus bestowing on them the privilege of being fed by Sai Krishna Himself. Swami then moved towards the Hall where devotees and students alike were eagerly awaiting His Darshan. He was led into the Hall by the group of students chanting the Vedas, as the hall reverberated with Krishna Bhajans being sung by the students from the boys’ and girls’ campuses- surcharging the atmosphere with holy vibrations. He said He would meet them at a temple later in the morning. After breakfast, Swami blessed a few fortunate devotees with interviews, and as He heard Bhajans were being sung fervently in the Satsang Hall a floor above, their devotion pulled Him amidst them. Swami commanded an architect who had prayed for many years to build and serve sick people, to speak. The devotee architect spoke about Swami’s grace in his life during the leanest of times, and revealed that he had prayed for a hospital to be built for serving the poor, and now by Swami’s will a Hospital is being planned in Bali, which will be built very soon. He thereafter urged everyone to be involved in the auspicious Seva. The excitement and enthusiasm of the devotees was palpable as everyone rejoiced at the good news. Thereafter, Swami commanded Prabhu ji to speak. Prabhu ji prayed that no obstacles should come in the way of one’s Sadhana. Filling the heart with love is the only way, he reminded everyone. He asked everyone to take a vow at Swami’s Lotus Feet, so they can spend their life in the service of the Lord. For them it was a new country, new surroundings and new experiences to savour. For the Sai youth of Malaysia it was D-day! Finally the day had arrived – Inaugural Morning of the two-day Asia Pacific Youth Meet 2017! 300 youth from eight countries had arrived, and were waiting with bated breath to be in the presence of their beloved Lord Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Bhagawan was served breakfast in His room upstairs in the home of Dr Vimala and Brother Ayavoo Arumugam, which was named as “Sai Amrutham”- the nectarine essence of Sai, by Lord Sai Himself. Brother Madhusudan later revealed that Swami was very eager to meet all the youth, and in all His excitement proceeded to Sai Ananda, the Ashram at Kuala Lumpur. Sai Ananda stands as a testimony to one man’s determination to serve society. Since it’s humble beginning in a dilapidated temple 25 years ago, Sai Ananda has touched the lives of thousands of needy and under poverished. Today, it stands as a beacon of light to many people. Swami was welcomed ceremoniously, and many devotees, the ‘youthful’, as Swami calls the elders, had also gathered, along with all the youth. The theme for the Youth Meet was ‘Seva for Transformation.’ Just the previous night, as everyone landed and reached the residence of Brother Ayavoo, Swami spoke to the gathered youth and said, “Youth is about possibilities. Medical camps, medicine and ration distribution booths were set up, and all the youth were eager to be part of this noble Seva. Swami proceeded to Sai Ananda at around 10:30 a.m. from Sai Amrutham. He walked around the entire premises of Sai Ananda, blessing all the various Seva activities. From blood donation to eye tests, from dental checkups to general medicine, every inch of space at Sai Ananda was buzzing with activity. Swami also blessed the volunteers in the kitchen, as He made a surprise visit to see all the food items which were being prepared for Narayana Seva. Swami lovingly served a few people, before proceeding to hand out dry rations to some of the needy. After blessing everyone profusely, Swami proceeded to the residence of an old devotee Dato Yeoh, which was an hour’s drive from Sai Ananda. Wading through bumper to bumper traffic, Swami along with His students, staff and chosen guests reached Sai Lotus, nestled in Janda Baik in the lap of Mother Nature. Dato Yeoh had built this Ashram-looking residence more than a decade ago, waiting for Swami’s arrival, as he truly believed Sai Lotus was Swami’s residence.
