Prashanti Noticias - Gran procesión por los devotos de Odisha ... 05-07-2012.
Cientos de hombres y mujeres del Estado de Odisha salieron a la calle principal esta mañana en una multitudinaria procesión que muestra el fervor devocional, aquí en Puttaparthi. Esta es la segunda vez, en seis meses, que el Estado lleva a cabo una multitudinaria procesión en Puttaparthi, siendo la última el 27 de diciembre de 2011.
La procesión de esta mañana comenzó a las 08.30 horas. desde el lugar de nacimiento de Bhagavan, el Señor del templo de Shiva, y se movió a lo largo de la carretera principal. Guiadas, por un grupo de los hombres vestidos de color amarillo que circulaban soplando la 'doble caracol', eran seguidos por un grupo de percusionistas entusiastas, interpretando melodías rítmicas, la procesión contagiaba esta exuberancia devocional, trasladándose a través de la carretera principal a un ritmo lento, concediendo el espectáculo a cientos de espectadores . Los hombres en el frente eran seguidos por un grupo de hombres con tambores, que a menudo se excitaban, saltando y bailando al ritmo de sus tambores, seguidos por otro grupo de hombres tocando platillos, uniéndose al movimiento de la danza circular.
En el centro había un pequeño carro que llevaba a Jagannatha y Subhadra.

Namasankirthan por un grupo de hombres, con bufandas amarillas, les seguían cantando bhahjans y hacia el final un enorme carro con una sonrisa de Bhagavan como el telón de fondo, con el divino asiento en el centro.
Este mañana estuvo llena de espectáculo, de teatro y color, en línea con el esplendor original de la fiesta en Puri, que está programada como una feria típica de la India de proporciones inigualables.
El Estado de Odisha se encuentra actualmente en Prashanti Nilayam con un fuerte contingente de más de 1800 devotos, que incluyó a más de 200 devotos tribales, que realizaron un Yatra Parthi.

Prasanthi News - Huge Procession by Odisha Devotees... 05-07-2012.
Hundreds of men and women from the State of Odisha took to the main street this morning in a huge procession displaying great devotional fervour here in Puttaparthi. This is the second time, in six months, the State is taking out a huge procession in Puttaparthi, last one being on 27th December 2011.
This morning’s procession began at 0830 hrs. from the birthplace of Bhagawan, Lord Shiva Temple, and moved along the main road. Led by a group yellow clad men blowing ‘twin conch’, followed by a group of enthusiastic drummers beating rhythmic tunes, the procession, infectious of devotional exuberance, moved through the main road in a measured pace granting an audio visual treat to hundreds of onlookers. The men in the front were followed by a group of men in drum, who often turned excited, jumping and dancing to their drum beats, followed by another set of men playing cymbals, joining in circular dance movements.
In the centre was a small chariot carrying Lord Jagannath, Sister Subhadra and Brother Balabadra.
A small group of tribal dancing woman followed the men, that was followed by hundreds of women carrying auspicious ‘kalasas.’ Another huge coloumn of women joined moving in tandem, often bursting into eerie whistling, typical of East India tribal tradition.
Namasankirthan group of men, in yellow scarves, followed, singing bhahjans and towards the end came a huge chariot with a smiling Bhagawan in the backdrop, with the Seat Of The Divine at the centre.
This morning affair was full of spectacle, drama and colour, in line with the original festive splendour in Puri, which is slated as a typical Indian fair of unmatchable proportions.
The State of Odisha is currently in Prasanthi Nilayam with a strong contingent of over 1800 deovtees, that included over 200 tribal devotees, who are on their maiden visit, on a Parthi Yatra.
In the meantime, a three day International Sai Youth Retreat, for Region 4 nations of SSSSO – Worldwide got under way this morning in the Purnachandra Auditorium.

El programa se inició con Canto Vedico y Pancha Vadyam a las 08:00 horas. ¿Quién mejor que los alumnos de Bhagavan, para cantar canciones de su amor y devoción a Dios en este día muy propicio? En su ofrenda titulada "Guru Vandanam", los estudiantes comenzaron con el Stotram (himno) al Sadguru Sai, y cautivaron a la asamblea con una hermosa interpretación Carnatic, Rama nee .. Con canciones especiales para la ocasión, como Sri Gurudev Sai .. y Satguru Ashtakam . Llegaron a la conclusión del programa recordando a la audiencia la práctica espiritual más simple y más potente que Bhagavan nos ha dado, Bajo Re Parama Naama Sri Sai. Concierto Carnatic por los hermanos Malladi
Las celebraciones de Guru Purnima llegó a un gran final, con un concierto de hermanos Malladi que se han convertido en un pilar en Prashanti Nilayam desde la fiesta de Guru Purnima de 2007. Comenzando con Rama Nannu Brovara , modificando las ultimas presentaciones de los ultimos años, repitiendo los temas viejos favoritos y cantando muchas canciones nuevas como Brahma Jnana Pradayaka , Sathya Sai Deva y Cherunuvu Bangara. Sin embargo, el punto culminante del programa fue la interpretación de Krithi Tyagaraja, Brocheva . When the Guru was placed in the Golden Throne of devotees hearts
Of all the relationships that exist in the world, from the mother and child to the doctor and patient, the purest and noblest of relationships is the unique bond between the Guru and the disciple. The disciple loves the Guru with all his heart and the Guru responds a thousand fold and yet the Love is intimately impersonal. While the Guru loves the disciple with compassion and empathy which none else could show, He also has an aura of dispassion allowing Him to stay unbounded by the perils of affection. Indeed, Guru Purnima is the celebration of this matchless Love story between the Guru and the disciple epitomised by the Love of our Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The Sai Kulwant Hall, that has witnessed the Love of the Supreme Master guiding, guarding and transforming innumerable lives once again witnessed a grand Guru Purnima Festival this year, celebrated on 3rd July. The hall was decked most beautifully and a Golden Throne shone on the stage with the purity of the matchless Love of the Guru.
The programme commenced with Vedam and Pancha Vadyam at 0800 hrs. Who better than the students of Bhagawan, to sing songs of their Love and Devotion to Him on this most auspicious day? In their offering titled “Guru Vandana”, students commencing with the Sadguru Sai Stotram, went on to enthrall the assembly with a beautiful Carnatic rendition, Rama nee.. Special songs for the occasion, Sri Sai Gurudev.. and Satguru Ashtakam followed. They concluded the programme reminding the audience of the simplest and most powerful Sadhana that Bhagawan has given us, Bajo Re Parama Naama Sri Sai.
In his introductory speech, Sri Sai Giridhar, Research Scholar of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, appealed the audience to turn their mind lit by the full moon towards the Lord. The speaker lavishly praised various illustrious masters like Buddha and Veda Vyasa who expounded the truth to the world, before paying gratitude to the Truth itself incarnated as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Sri Giridhar then introduced the speakers of the day.
Sri Kota Sivakumar, an alumnus of Bhagawan’s university; the founding director of a HR Consulting firm; a member, office bearer and trainer in the Sri Sathya Sai Organisations; a lyricist and a regular contributor to a monthly magazine dedicated to Spirituality and Nationality was the first speaker of the morning. Sri Sivakumar thanked all the selfless teachers who have guided him along in the right path before recollecting the direct teaching he obtained from Bhagawan. From his own personal experience and with help of many anecdotes the speaker explained how Bhagawan awakens, warns, encourages helping an individual to grow and elevate himself. He concluded the talk exhorting the audience to seat the Guru in our hearts.
The second speaker was Dr Narendranath Reddy, the Chairman of Prasanthi Council and Director of the Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation. After exalting Prasanthi Nilayam, the blessed ground where Bhagawan chose to take birth and establish His mission, He reminded the blessed assembly the expansion of Bhagawan’s Name as given by Himself, SAI BABA: See Always Inside – Being Awareness Bliss Atma. Dr Reddy then recounted various activities undertaken by the Sri Sathya Sai Organisations – Worldwide with a special focus on Medical Care. He made a special mention of the continuing efforts put up by the volunteers in earthquake affected regions of Haiti and Japan.
Sri Nimish Pandya, the National Vice President of Sri Sathya Sai Organisations, India, in-charge of the education wing commenced his talk saying that such is the miracle of Sai’s Love that the bliss of the devotee, no matter how much the debilitating force, never diminishes. While recounting the various manifestations happening around the world, Sri Pandya warned that it is a reminder that He is still watching us and that we should continue to live up to the name of a Sai Devotee. He concluded his talk saying that the Sai Organisation believes in the power of the youth and are confident that a new generation of office bearers will take the organisation even more forward by the Loving grace of Bhagawan Baba.
The talks were followed by an audio clipping of Bhagawan’s Guru Purnima discourse where He explains who a Guru is, and exhorts us to not salute Him as He is not different from His devotees; If one must salute, salute himself or herself, for the same Divinity is manifested in us too. He gave a special emphasis on the benefits of speaking less for the sadhaka and the control of desires. Bhagawan concluded His discourse with the Bhajan, ‘Prema Muditha Man Se Kaho Ram Ram Ram’. Arati was offered at 1030 hrs.
Carnatic Concert by Malladi Brothers
The Guru Purnima Celebrations came to a grand conclusion with a concert by Malladi brothers who have become a mainstay in Prasanthi Nilayam during the Guru Purnima festivity till 2007. Commencing with Rama Nannu Brovara, they differed from their practice over the last year of repeating old favourites and performed many more new songs this time includingBrahma Jnana Pradayaka, Sathya Sai Deva and Bangara Cherunuvu. However the highlight of the programme was the absolute fault less rendition of the Tyagaraja krithi, Brocheva . The rendition of the Malladi Brothers, Malladi Sreeramprasad and Malladi Ravikumar was much enhanced by the able accompaniment of ‘Kalaimamani’ Embar.S. Kannan on the violin and ‘Kalaimamani’ Mannargudi Easwaran on the Mrudangam.
In their characteristic style they concluded the concert with the ‘Mangalam’ song, Ramachandraya… All the artistes were honoured with gifts and Prasadam was distributed to the gathering. Arathi was offered at 1900 hrs.
Un gran contingente de devotos del Estado de Odisha han llegado a Prashanti Nilayam en un Yatra Parthi (peregrinación a Parthi), del 4 de julio al 6 de julio.

A large contingent of devotees from the State of Odisha have arrived in Prasanthi Nilayam on a Parthi Yatra, from July 4 to July 6.
Commemorating the occasion devotees from the State will be staging Cultural Programmes tomorrow, July 5, evening in the Sai Kulwant Hall. The Programme consists of ‘Namasankirtan’ followed by Sri Krishna Leela Madhuri. Devotees from the State are also scheduled to take out a huge procession in the streets outside the Ashram, tomorrow morning.
It is also to be mentioned that enthusiastic youth along with other devotees from the state will be engaged in special sanitation service during the Parthi Yatra tenure.
Uno debe estar dispuesto a sacrificar cualquier cosa, por el amor de Dios y su mensaje - Swami.
La verdadera devoción está en la obediencia de las ordenes del Señor y la difusión de su mensaje. A pesar de las innumerables dificultades que tuvo el emperador Harishchandra nunca se desvió del camino de la verdad. Uno tiene que adorar a Dios, tanto en tiempos de dolor o de placer.

True devotion lies in obeying the command of the Lord and spreading His message. In spite of innumerable difficulties Emperor Harischandra never swerved from the path of truth. One has to worship God both in times of pain and pleasure.
One should be prepared to sacrifice anything for the sake God and His message. Under any circumstances, do not disobey the command of God. That is determination. Determination gives rise to sacrifice, which leads to immortality.
