Estoy profundamente entristecido por la noticia de la catástrofe a gran escala en Filipinas causado por el tifón Haiyan.

Estoy solicitando al comité de socorro en sus copresidentes, Sr. John Behner y Dr. Jack Feely que estudie este asunto de inmediato y proporcionen recomendaciones a  la OSSI (Organización Sathya Sai Internacional) sobre próximos pasos a tomar.

Por favor, compartan esta carta con los Coordinadores Centrales, Coordinadores Centrales adjuntos y Presidentes del Consejo Nacional y pídanles que la hagan circular en todos los Centros Sathya Sai, Grupos Sathya Sai, Fideicomiso Sathya Sai e Instituciones Educativas Sathya Sai.

Oremos al Señor Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba para aliviar el dolor y el sufrimiento causado por la pérdida masiva de vidas y bienes de nuestros queridos hermanos y hermanas en Filipinas. Por la gracia de Swami sirvamos a los necesitados con amor, humildad y dedicación.

Every year, on the second Saturday and Sunday of November, a 24 hour long Bhajan is held in Prasanthi Nilayam. Many centres and samithis around the world also celebrate this event. The bhajan starts at 6 p.m. in the evening and concludes at 6 p.m. on the following day with Aarti and prasadam distribution. This year the Akhanda Bhajan is on 9-10 Nov.
