Sai Ram, This Monday marks the commencement of the Navaratri celebrations at Sathya Sai Grama. With the Divine blessings and in the immediate presence of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, the celebrations will begin tomorrow, 26 September 2022 and conclude on Dashami which falls on Wednesday 05 October 2022. Throughout this auspicious period, we invite you to experience and participate via live-streaming over the internet. The following are short descriptions of the events that are to take place. Navaratri Homa Every morning, the Navaratri Homa will be conducted at Sri Sathya Sai Hrudaya Mandiram in gratitude and reverence to the Divine Mother. Chandi Homa The acharyas and students of the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Veda Gurukulam will also be conducting a Chandi Homa every afternoon from 26 Sep to 04 Oct. Durga Puja The Durga Puja will be conducted daily. On this auspicious occasion, the Srishti Shakti is worshipped for nine days with reverence in nine forms — Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayini, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri. Dashami On 05 October, Dashami, the tenth day signifies different celebrations in different parts of India — including the culmination of the nine nights — remembering Mother Durga's victory over the demon Mahishasura, and also, celebrating Lord Rama's victory over Ravana as the climax of Ramlila. Maha Rudra Yajna The Maha Rudra Yajna will be performed for universal peace and prosperity from October 02 to October 05 in the presence of the Yajna Purusha Himself.
