AÑO NUEVO CHINO 2013 en Puttaparthi, por R. Sathis Naik.

Om Sai Sairam querida familia:

Enfriando la temperatura caliente que había sido algo  molesta para los habitantes de Puttaparthi, una lluvia sorpresiva dio la bienvenida al Año Nuevo chino. 

Puttaparthi, según la leyenda, estaba lleno de hormigueros que las cobras mortales invadían, para hacer de ellos su residencia; un buen número de devotos chinos procedentes de países del sudeste asiático llegaron hasta la Morada Santa para celebrar el Año de la SERPIENTE en Puttaparthi que solía estar lleno de hormigueros.


Muy por casualidad, tuve un sueño, en el que muchas serpientes me perseguían . A pesar de que sonaba poco auspicioso y daba un poco de miedo soñar con serpientes, supongo que significaba la celebración del año nuevo chino en Su Morada.
Había una enorme pancarta colgada en el centro que decía HOPE (Cumple con los padres todos los días), el tema elegido para este nuevo año. 
Después del Rudram cantando por el grupo, Mr.Billy se dirigió a la reunión haciendo hincapié en la importancia de honrar a sus propios parientes. Para esta ocasión, se pidió al Presidente regional un trabajo muy duro, el Dr. Ravindran devoto ofreció un libro a los Pies de Loto de nuestro amado Señor, que tuviera las enseñanzas de Bhagavan, de sus discursos, que destacara el respeto a los mayores y los padres.


Más tarde, el grupo de devotos hizo algunas bellas canciones en chino e Inglés. la guinda del pastel y una gran sorpresa para los devotos de habla telugu particularmente, fue que un hermano chino cantó "Rama Ninnu Nammina" (O Rama he puesto mi confianza en Ti ), una canción compuesta por San Tyagaraja en Telugu, y una de las canciones más populares presentadas por los estudiantes de música clásica.

A pesar de que este hermano Sai era de origen chino, no mostró ningún rastro de acento chino en su canto. Si Swami hubiese estado allí físicamente, este hermano Sai habría, sin duda, sido bendecido con un don divino de la tienda de joyería Divina!


Cuando todo esto estaba ocurriendo, yo vivía una situación muy incómoda y aunque era personal, no tenía ni idea de cómo responder cuando mi hijo mas grande de 3 años, me preguntó donde se fue Swami y por qué solo ve sus fotos, pero no lo ve en su forma física.

Si tuviera que decirle que Él ha dejado su cuerpo,  es demasiado pequeño para entender este fenómeno. Si yo le dijera que Swami no estara más, él no lo entendería bien y cómo puedo decirle que Swami no esta más!,  Le dije que Swami está en el Mahasamadhi. La respuesta fue, ¿por qué no le dices que se levante yo quiero verlo ahora ....

Le dije que Swami vendrá para el darshan mañana y podría verlo. Si me pregunta mañana, no tengo idea de cual debería ser mi respuesta !!!



COMENZÓ LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL EDIFICIO NUEVO DEL ARCHIVO:


El "Bhoomi Puja" (ceremonia de bendición ) para un ultra moderno edificio archivístico comenzó esta mañana. Shri.G.Venkatraman, Shri.Rathnakar, Shri.Prasad Rao, Shri.Shetty y otros ancianos y dirigentes del ashram, estuvieron presentes en esta puja. A pesar de que fue mal citado en varios medios de comunicación Telugu, que este edificio albergará todas las pertenencias personales de Swami, este edificio, que estará al lado del museo, en la cima de una colina, con un presupuesto estimado de 10 crores de  rupias, tendrán un método sistemático y moderno de preservar todos los manuscritos de Swami, millones de sus fotos, todos los discursos, etc,  para la eternidad y más allá. Este proyecto ayudará definitivamente a que las generaciones futuras tengan acceso a OCÉANO SUPREMO DE CONOCIMIENTO átmico y a algunos HUMORES SAI muy informativo como éste  compartido amablemente por  el hermano Nitin .

Alegría y cualidad. eran los dos principales marcas de helados de la India, en esos días. Los propietario de 'Joy' y 'Kwality "eran devotos de Bhagavan. Y la sana competencia entre los dos era muy beneficioso para los estudiantes por razones obvias.  

Una vez, Swami distribuyo cremas heladas Joy, a los estudiantes. Cuando los estudiantes  gozaban de el helado, Swami hizo un comentario jocoso, "जॉय में क्वालिटी नहीं .. क्वालिटी में जॉय नहीं" (no hay alegría sin Calidad y Calidad sin alegría) .


Cada humor de Swami tenía un significado potente y algo para enseñar ....


Todo el mundo se echó a reír, pero se quedó centrado en el sabor del helado, pero luego fue  hora de centrarse en lo que Swami dijo y su significado ... 


¡Qué hermoso es el Humor Sai .. Como Swami dijo una vez: Que nuestros corazones estén tan blanco como el helado y nuestras palabras sean suaves y frías como los helados ..

Om Sairam dearest Sai Family:

Cooling off the hot temperature which had been bit of a botheration to the Puttaparthians, a surprise rain welcomed Chinese New Year. Puttaparthi, as the legend goes, was full of ant hills where deadly cobras encroached in, to make it their residences, had good number of Chinese devotees from South East Asian countries who came all the way to the Holy Abode to celebrate the year of SNAKE in Puttaparthi which is/used to be full of ant hills.


Quite coincidentally, i had a dream where so many snakes where chasing me. Even though, it sounded bit inauspicious and bit scary to dream of snakes, i guess Swami meant the Chinese new year celebration in His Abode.
There was a huge banner hanging in the middle which read H.O.P.E (Honouring of Parents Every day) the theme selected for this New year. After the Rudram chanting by the group, Mr.Billy fong addressed the gathering emphasizing on the importance of hounouring one's own parents.On this occasion, he requested the regional Chairman and a very hard working devotee Dr.Ravindran to offer a book at the Lotus Feet of our beloved Lord, which had the teachings of Bhagawan from His discourses which stressed on respect to elders and parents.


Later the group of devotees rendered some beautiful songs in Chinese and English. the icing on the cake and to a huge surprise of particularly Telugu speaking devotees, one Chinese brother sang"Rama Ninnu Nammina" ( O Rama I have put my trust one You) a Telugu song composed by Saint Tyagaraja and one of the most popular songs rendered by students of classical music.


Even though this Sai brother was of Chinese Origin, he showed no trace of Chinese accent while singing. If Swami were to be there physically, this Sai brother would have definitely blessed with a Divine gift fresh from the Divine Jewellery Store!!!


As all these was happening, I had a very uncomfortable situation and even though bit personal, I had no clue how to answer when my 3 plus year old son asked me as where is Swami and why is he seeing only His photos but not the physical form.

If I had tell him that He has left His body, this fellow is too small to know this phenomena. If I tell him Swami is no more,he wouldn't understand either and how can I say that Swami is no more!!! I told him Swami is in the Mahasamadhi there in the middle. The reply came, why don't you ask Him to get up and I want to see Him now....


I told him that Swami will come to darshan tomorrow and he could see Him. He will be definitely questioning me tomorrow and i have no clue what should be my answer!!!!!



CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ARCHIVAL BUILDING COMMENCES:


The "Bhoomi Puja" ( ground breaking ceremony) for an ultra modern archival building commenced this morning. Shri.G.Venkat Raman, Shri.Rathnakar Shri.Prasad Rao, Shri.Shetty and other elders and office bearers of the ashram, were present for this puja. Even though it was misquoted in various Telugu media that this building will house all the personal belongings of Swami, this building, which is coming up next to the old museum on the hill top, with an estimated budget of Rs.10 crores, will have a systematic and modern method of preserving all the manuscripts of Swami, millions of His photos, all the discourses etc for eternity and beyond. This project will definitely help the future generations to have access to Swami's OCEAN OF SUPREME ATMIC KNOWLEDGE and some very informative SAI HUMOUR like this one kindly shared by brother Nitin.

Joy and Kwality were the Top two Indian ice cream brands in those days. The Proprietor of 'Joy ' and a hotel owner who


used to get 'Kwality' were devotees of Bhagawan and our well wishers. The healthy competition between the two was highly


beneficial for Students for obvious reasons.


Once, Swami distributed Joy ice cream brought by the 'Joy' Owner to students . When students and every one else around


were en(d)joying the ice cream, Swami made a humorous comment, "जॉय में क्वालिटी नहीं..क्वालिटी में जॉय नहीं" ( There is no Joy in Quality and No Quality in Joy )


Every humor of Swami had a potent meaning and something to learn from....


Everyone burst into laughter but stayed focused on the ice cream taste, But thereafter it was time to Focus on what Swami


said and it's significance...


What a beautiful Sai Humour it is.. As Swami once said, Let our hearts be as white as the ice cream and our words be soft and cold as ice cream..

La semana pasada terminó con una copiosa lluvia de néctar divino de los Cielos para las familias Sai de Nueva Zelanda, porque el orador principal en la Conferencia Nacional de Nueva Zelanda no era otro que el mismo Anil Kumar.

El profesor se dirigió a una nutrida audiencia y el tema que había elegido era "El Padre Nuestro", un poema escrito por Swami.

El profesor estructuró sus charlas, de tal manera que se indagara en una estrofa diferente del poema por cada sesión, sumergiéndose en profundidad, para dar una honda significación a los versos.

Si alguien tuviera la impresión de que la espiritualidad es un asunto tan serio que no deja margen para la diversión, debería escuchar las conferencias de Anil Kumar que están impregnadas de la espiritualidad transmitida por la antigua sabiduría del Vedanta, según lo prescrito por Swami, con tal sentido del humor y tan divertidas que fueron cautivadoras para jóvenes y mayores por igual.

El aspecto más admirable de todo esto, es que el proceso de exposición para adaptarlas a la audiencia occidental, no le hizo diluir en modo alguno la esencia del mensaje de Swami ni tampoco comprometer la calidad de los contenidos.

De hecho, fue, en definitiva, el mensaje de Swami en sus propias palabras sin ninguna adición o supresión y en su estilo inimitable.

Debe hacerse una mención especial sobre el baile del profesor y los cantos intercalados a lo largo de sus charlas.
La primera sesión fue dedicada al primer verso del poema: "¡Oh Señor! toma mi amor y déjalo fluir en plenitud de devoción hacia Ti ".

Dividió este versículo en varias partes y explicó cada fragmento en detalle.

El summum bonum de esta parte fue el amor que poseemos y que pretende ser nuestro, no es en realidad de nosotros sino que es un regalo de Dios.

Mientras practiquemos este amor con apego a nosotros mismos y lo compartamos sólo con un número limitado de personas que nos aman y se sienten cómodas con ello, no lo podremos considerar amor.

Está limitado en su naturaleza, contaminado y adulterado.

Tal forma imperfecta de amor, cuando se ofrece a Swami y se le permite fluir en toda su extensión hacia Él, llega a ser completo y perfecto y el método apropiado de ofrecerlo es por y con devoción.

Por qué mi amor tiene que ser ofrecido a Dios es porque Él es el verdadero dueño y dador de ese amor. Una vez que fluye hacia Él lo acepta, lo reconoce y lo devuelve a nosotros perfecto y pleno.

¿Qué explicación tan clara del amor y qué podría alcanzar esta gigantesca tarea que no fuera la Encarnación del Amor?
A continuación, pasó al siguiente versículo: "¡Oh Señor! toma mis manos y déjalas trabajar incesantemente para ti "

Explicó que esto significa que las manos son la representación simbólica y figurada de un instrumento.

Destacó especialmente, que se debe trabajar sin descanso y constantemente, dedicándonos a la obra de la Divinidad.
La tercera estrofa del poema fue: "¡Oh Señor! toma mi mente y mis pensamientos y déjalos estar en sintonía contigo"

El profesor explicó muy bien el concepto de la mente y la forma en que cualquiera de los dos nos ata o nos libera.

Nuestros pensamientos tienen que estar en alineación perfecta, en sintonía y en armonía con la voluntad de Dios, ya que Él reina por siempre y para siempre.
En la siguiente parte de la charla Anil Kumar trató en detalle el siguiente verso: "¡Oh Señor! toma mi alma y déjala que se funda en una sola contigo"

Aquí, en este contexto, discernió de manera muy acertada sobre la relación entre el alma individual y la supra conciencia, una como una chispa y la otra como la fuente. Dio ejemplos vívidos sobre cómo explicar este complejo concepto.

También aclaró por qué el alma individual tiene que fusionarse con la fuente y cuál es el completo propósito de este viaje.
El último verso del poema fue: "¡Oh Señor! toma mi todo y déjame ser un instrumento para trabajar para ti"

Para explicar esto el profesor puso el ejemplo de una flauta. Cómo yace en silencio y pasa con gusto por el proceso de perforación y agujereado hasta llegar a ser completamente hueca y someterse de todo corazón para que el Señor llegue a cogerla algún día y toque su música a través de ella.

También puso el ejemplo del conjunto de instrumentos quirúrgicos esperando pacientemente su turno a adquirir su utilidad por puro criterio del cirujano que los use. Huelga decir que toda la sesión fue, espiritualmente, muy estimulante y apasionante.
En la sesión de clausura del sábado Anil Kumar compartió con la audiencia sus experiencias personales con Swami.

Fue muy estimulante y revitalizador para todos.

Nosotros los neozelandeses le damos las gracias a nuestros queridos profesor y señora, Vijayalakshmi Kamaraju, desde el fondo de nuestros corazones, por esta sesión arrobadora y de elevación espiritual que nos ha inoculado la confianza y la tranquilidad para continuar el camino espiritual con más vigor y entusiasmo.

Summary and Brief Overview of Prof. Anil Kumar’s Talks in NZ National Conference 2013, By Revathi Sundar.

The week that went past ended with showers of Divine Nectar straight from the Heavens for the Sai Families in NZ as the keynote speaker at the NZ National Conference was none other than Prof. Anil Kumar himself. Prof. Anil Kumar addressed a packed audience and the topic he had chosen was ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ – a poem written by Swami. Professor had structured his talks in such a way as to elucidate the poem one stanza at a time for each session and dived into the depth giving a very deep insight of the verses. If someone had the impression that spirituality is all serious business and there is no room for fun, they ought to listen to Prof Anil Kumar’s talks that are steeped in spirituality conveying the ancient wisdom of Vedanta as prescribed by Swami in such a humorous and hilarious way that was so captivating for the young and old alike. The most admirable aspect of it all was that in the process of delivering it to suit the Western audience, he did not in any way dilute the essence of Swami’s message nor did he compromise on the quality of content. In fact it was all in all, Swami’s message in His own words without any addition or deletion and in His own inimitable style. A special mention has to be made about Prof Anil Kumar’s dancing and singing interspersed throughout his talks.

During the first session he took up the first verse of the poem: “O Lord! Take my Love and let it flow in fullness of Devotion to Thee.” He split this verse into few parts and explained each part in detail. The summum bonum of this part was the love that we possess and claim to be ours is actually not ours in truth and is a gift from God. As long as we hold this love tight to ourselves and share with only a limited number of people who we love and are comfortable with it does not qualify as Love. It is limited in nature and is contaminated and polluted. Such an imperfect form of love when offered to Swami and allowed to flow in full measure towards Him becomes complete and perfect and the proper method of offering it is through and with devotion. Why my love has to be offered to God is because He is the true owner and giver of this love. Once it flows to Him He accepts it, acknowledges it and returns it back to us in perfection and fullness. What crystal clear explanation of love and who could achieve this mammoth task other than the Embodiment of Love!

He then went on to the next verse: “O Lord! Take my hands and let them work incessantly for Thee.” He explained it to mean that hands are symbolic and figurative representation to mean an instrument. It was stressed very well that they should work tirelessly and constantly be engaged in the work of the Divine.

The third verse of the poem is: “O Lord! Take my mind and thoughts and let them be in tune with Thee.” Professor beautifully explained the concept of mind and how it either binds or liberates us. Our thoughts have to be in perfect alignment and in tune and in harmony with the will of God as it reigns supreme forever and ever more.

In his next part of the talk Professor Anil Kumar dealt in detail with the next verse: “O Lord! Take my soul and let it be merged in one with Thee.” Here in this context he was beautifully elucidating the connection between the individual soul and Super soul, how one is a spark and the other the source. He gave vivid examples to explain this heavy concept. He also explained why the individual soul has to be merged with the source and that is the whole purpose of this journey.

The final verse of the poem is: “O Lord! Take my everything and let me be an instrument to work for Thee.” By way of explaining this Prof Anil Kumar gave the example of a flute – how it lets itself silently and willingly go through the process of drilling and piercing to be made completely hollow and submits itself whole heartedly so that the Lord might pick it up someday to play His music through that. He also gave the example of surgical tools – an array of them waiting patiently for their turn wherein it is purely the discretion of the concerned surgeon. Needless to say the entire session was so uplifting and spiritually enthralling.

There was a session on Saturday – the concluding session for the day Prof Anil Kumar was sharing his personal experience with Swami. It was very uplifting and rejuvenating for one and all. We, the New Zealanders thank you dear Professor Anil Kumar and Smt. Vijayalakshmi Kamaraju from the bottom of our hearts for a mesmerizing and spiritually elevating session which has instilled in us self-confidence and reassurance to pursue the spiritual path with more vigor and zeal.

The mother spends more time tending the sick child; she asks the older children to look after themselves but feeds the infant with her own hands. That does not mean that she has no love towards the grown-ups. So too, do not think that because God does not ostensibly shower attention on a person, that he or she is not receiving God’s Love and Grace. In God’s view, there is no one senior or junior amongst devotees. Note this also - in this Avatar (Divine Incarnation), the wicked will not be destroyed; they will be corrected, reformed, educated and led back to the path from which they have strayed. The white-ant infested tree will not be cut; it will be saved.
