La llegada del gurú no es tan importante como la buena disposición del discípulo.

En un satsang que tuvo lugar en la presencia divina en la Argentina, el 15 de octubre de 2016. Un devoto preguntó si hay maestros espirituales para guiar y conducir a 7 mil millones de personas en la tierra.

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

Devoto: Swami, los Vedas proclaman la importancia de tener un gurú para guiarnos y conducirnos. Puesto que somos más de 7 mil millones de personas en esta tierra, hay suficientes maestros espirituales?

Swami: Dios viene de infinitas formas para enseñarles, porque Él está allí en todo lo que ven a su alrededor. La venida del gurú no es tan importante, como la disposición del discípulo. Si el discípulo es como el que oímos en la historia, ningún gurú será útil. Dios fluye a través de los ríos y enseña a los ríos a no beber sus propias aguas, sino a darlas a otros. Dios crece en los árboles, les da fruto y les enseña la lección de no comer su propio fruto, sino de darlo a los demás. Dios se levanta en el sol, quemándose para dar luz y vida a los demás. Todo lo que ven a su alrededor tiene una lección para aprender.

Cuando haya disponibilidad de parte del discípulo, el gurú vendrá de alguna forma u otra. No se preocupen por todas las personas y cómo van a aprender. Cuando estén listos para recibir sus lecciones, de alguna manera u otra, Dios encontrará Su camino hacia ellos, tal como Él ha encontrado Su camino hacia ustedes.

Sí, hay muchas, muchas, muchas personas. Es posible que no tengan una apariencia exterior como gurú, pero, por dentro, lo son. Al igual que un padre sabe cuándo poner a su hijo en la escuela primaria, cuando ponerlo en la escuela secundaria y cuándo en la universidad, Dios sabe cuándo lo llevara a un gurú. Debido a que todos son hijos de Dios, Él también está cuidando del bienestar de todos. Los niños que son obedientes aprenderán rápidamente. Aquellos que son difíciles y desobedientes tomará más tiempo. Todo el mundo encontrará un maestro en el momento adecuado.

¿Son ustedes estudiante o profesores ahora? Séan un estudiante para si mismos, pero sean un maestro para los demás. Siempre esté deseoso de aprender más, pero, al mismo tiempo, practicando, poniendo en práctica lo aprendido, ayuden a otros a aprender de ustedes. Cada maestro es un estudiante a la vez. Ahora espero que mis devotos y estudiantes lentamente se conviertan en maestros y propaguen la verdad de la divinidad a lo largo de sus vidas. Ustedes han sido estudiantes por mucho tiempo. Ahora es el momento de llegar a ser maestros y difundir Mi mensaje - esto es lo que espero.

Los estudiantes pueden permitirse cometer errores, pero los maestros no pueden permitirse hacerlo. La vida de un maestro es una vida de perfección. Sólo cuando asumen la responsabilidad de ser un maestro, realmente perfeccionarán todo lo que han aprendido de Mí. Entonces empezarán a vivir para otros en lugar de si mismos, lo que significa perfección en cada pensamiento, palabra y acción.

The coming of the guru is not as important as the readiness of the disciple.

In a satsang held in the divine presence at Argentina, on 15 October, 2016. A devotee asked if there are spiritual masters to guide and lead 7 billion people on earth.

And here is what Swami said:

Devotee: Swami, the Vedas proclaim the importance of having a guru to guide and lead us. Since we are more than 7 billion people on this earth, are there many spiritual masters?

Swami: God comes down in so many ways to teach you because He is there in everything that you see around you. The coming of the guru is not as important as the readiness of the disciple. If the disciple is like the one we heard about in the story, no guru will be of use. God flows through rivers and teaches the rivers not to drink their own waters, but to give to others. God grows in the trees, gives them fruit and teaches them the lesson to not eat their own fruit, but to give it to others. God rises in the sun, burning Himself out to give light and life to others. Everything you see around you holds a lesson to be learnt. When there is readiness of the disciple, the guru will come in some form or the other. Do not worry about all the people and how they are going to learn. When they become ready to receive their lessons, some way or the other, God will find His way to them, just as He has found His way to you.

Yes, there are many, many, many people. They may not outwardly look like gurus but, inwardly, they are. Just as a father knows when to put his son in grade school, when to put him in high school and when to put him into college, God knows when to take you to each guru. Because all are God’s children, He is equally looking after everyone’s well-being. The children who are obedient will learn quickly. Those who are difficult and disobedient will take more time. Everyone will find a teacher at the right time.

Are you a student or a teacher now? Be a student for yourself, but be a teacher for others. Always be eager to learn more but, at the same time, by practicing, help others learn from you. Every teacher was a student at one time. I now expect My devotees and students to slowly grow into teachers and propagate the truth of divinity throughout your lives. You have been students for a long time. It is now time to grow into being teachers and spread My message – this is what I expect. Students can afford to make mistakes, but teachers cannot afford to do so. A teacher’s life is a life of perfection. It is only when you step into the responsibility of being a teacher that you will really perfect all that you have learnt from Me. Then you will start living for others instead of yourself, which means perfection in every thought, word and action. Become like this now.
