Bhagavan Baba se pone de pie, sobre el "Paadha Peetam" Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba vaaru, inauguro el hermoso Sai Mandir en Madurai,  el 22 de abril 1999. 

El templo había sido construido por Bhagavan en el Sri Sathya Sai Nagar, cerca de TVS Nagar,  por las oraciones de un gran devoto  Sri Subramaniam Chettiar, el presidente fundador del Sri Sai Padhuga Trust. 

Fue unos diez días más o menos, después de la desaparición física de Sri Chettiar, que Bhagavan voló a Madurai para inaugurar este maravilloso Mandir. 

Swami llamó a este Mandir  "Sri Sathya Sai ANANDA Nilayam". 

En esta auspiciosa ocasión, Bhagavan también  instalo el ídolo de Ganesha en el santuario pequeño cerca de la puerta. 

Sri Srinivasan Chettiar, hijo del fallecido Chettiar Subramaniam había enviado a  hacer una hermosa "Peetam",  para colocar las  Sri Sai Padhuga (sandalias). El Peetam está hecho de piedra de granito Negro. Una cubierta de plata se han hecho posteriormente. 

El día de la inauguración de "Sri Sathya Sai Ananda Nilayam", este Peetam se le mostró a Bhagavan. A pesar de algunos inconvenientes Bhagavan Baba de pronto subió y se puso sobre este Peetam. (Ver foto adjunta). 

Pensar que todos los programas habían terminado, y el fotógrafo, camarógrafo y todo el mundo había dejado Ananda Nilayam. Pero Swami parado en la Peetam, pidió a Sri Srinivasan Chettiar que tomara una foto. Busco frenéticamente y no pudo conseguir un fotógrafo. 

Swami, sonriente y paciente siguió de pie en el Peetam por más de 5 minutos. En última instancia, un fotógrafo de un periódico local tomó la foto rápidamente. 

Más tarde, Swami  le dijo a Sri Srinivasan Chettiar, "Después de muchos años, durante las próximas generaciones, si usted dice que Sai Baba,  estuvo en este Peetam, nadie podrá creer sus palabras. Por lo tanto me insistió para que tomara la foto.

STORY BEHIND THIS PHOTO .

Bhagavan Baba stands up, on the “Paadha Peetam”

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba vaaru, inaugurated the beautiful Sai Mandir in Madurai, on the 22nd April 1999. The temple had been built by Bhagavan in Sri Sathya Sai Nagar, near TVS nagar, as per the prayers of a great devotee (Late) Sri Subramaniam Chettiar, founder President of Sri Sai Padhuga Trust. It was just about ten days or so, after the passing away of Sri Chettiar, that Bhagavan flew down to Madurai to inaugurate this wonderful Mandir.

Swami named this Mandir as “SRI SATHYA SAI ANANDA NILAYAM”. On this auspicious occasion, Bhagavan also installed the idol of Lord Ganesha in the small sanctum near the gate.

Sri Srinivasan Chettiar, son of Late Subramaniam Chettiar had got made a beautiful “Peetam” for keeping Sri Sai Padhuga. The Peetam is made of Black granite stone. A silver cover had also been made subsequently.

On the day of inauguration of “Sri Sathya Sai Ananda Nilayam”, this Peetam was shown to Bhagavan. In spite of some inconvenience Bhagavan Baba suddenly climbed up and stood on this Peetam. (See Photo attached). Thinking that all programmes were over, the photographer, videographer and everybody had left Ananda Nilayam. But Swami standing on the Peetam, asked Sri Srinivasan Chettiar to take a photo. Frantically searching, he could not get any photographer. Swami, smilingly and patiently continued to stand on the Peetam for more than 5 minutes. Ultimately a photographer from a local news paper was spotted and he took the photo hurriedly.

Later on, Swami told Sri Srinivasan Chettiar,

“After long years, during the next generations, if you say Sai Baba had stood on this Peetam, nobody may believe your words. Hence I insisted to take the photo. Display this photo in the Mandir”.

En la celebración de el Año Nuevo Gujarati, por los niños Balvikas de las escuela Sri Sathya Sai , representaron  un drama titulado "La Vida en la omnipresencia de Sai" esta tarde en Prashanti Nilayam. 

La presentación fue un intento de retratar a algunos de los incidentes reales, como testimonios, de Su Presencia Divina!

El primer episodio fue una ilustración de una historia sobre la  transformación de un joven oficial de la Fuerza Real Británica de nombre John Wright. 

El siguiente episodio fue la verdadera historia de un muchachito de nombre Ahmed, que fue bendecido con un darshan en un sueño en el hospital de Sri Sathya Sai de Super Especialidades Prasanthigram, donde iba a someterse a una operación en contra de su consentimiento. 
Su operación fue cancelada por Bhagavan que apareció cerca de su cama, en forma física, mostrando su omnipresencia. 

El Teatro Divino de Prasanthi había sido testigo de más de un programa cultural, algunos de ellos bastante atípico, en los últimos años, en la presencia física de Bhagavan. 
El programa final de la jornada fue "Beda Dance 'por el renombrado artista de Sri Chirag Mahida de Baroda. El artista, con sus proezas de equilibrio brillante, cautivó a la audiencia durante los siguientes quince minutos, poco a poco amplio sus hazañas impresionantes de equilibrio en el ejercicio de la danza, antes de un pico como  broche de oro de más de diez macetas redondas dispuestas una encima de la otra.

Anteriormente, el programa se inició a las 17:00 horas . Después de una media hora de Canto Vedico , con el Presidente del Estado de Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organización, Sri Manohar Trikarnad, que saludo a la audiencia por el Año Nuevo. El Presidente del Estado también narró un episodio con un incidente en el que Bhagavan mostró su mano invisible que ayuda a los devotos, que descansaba en la fe. 
El discurso del presidente fue seguido a través del canto del Maha Ganesh Pancharatna Strotram por chicas jóvenes Sai del estado seguido por un programa de baile corto, "Gananayakaya Ganadaivataya ..." por las niñas Balvikas.

Los Bhajans por los devotos de Gujarat continuaron durante los últimos quince minutos antes de que se ofreciera el Mangala Arathi a las 18:30 hrs. 
El ultimo  bhajan fue "Rama Rama Kodanda ..." en la voz dulce de Bhagaván, un especial del jueves.
Todos los niños participantes y el artista invitado fueron felicitados,  y prasadam fue distribuido a toda la asamblea.

Celebrating Gujarati New Year Balvikas Children from Sri Sathya Sai School, Surat enacted a drama entitled "Living in Sai's Omnipresence" this evening in Prasanthi Nilayam. The presentation was an attempt to portray some of the true incidents, as testimonies, to His Divine Presence!

The first episode was an illustration of a story of transformation of a young British Royal Force officer by name John Wright. Right who came over to Prasanthi Nilayam at the instance of a stranger, whom he met at the airport, finally ended up waiting for a week to get Divine permission to leave the precincts, again at the instance of an overseas devotee, who advised him to do so. Jeopardising his career for not reporting to duty in time, upon his return an apprehensive John was received with a pleasant surprise of a double promotion. Omnipresent, all loving Bhagawan had been present 'on duty' doing exceptional flying in the guise of John, while he was away from Prasanthi, earning a dedicated faithful John true reward for his transformation, a double promotion and transformation of his heart!

The next episode was the true story of a little lad by name Ahmed who was blessed with a dream physical darshan in the Sri Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital, Prasanthigram, where he was to undergo an operation against his consent. His operation was cancelled by Bhagawan Who appeared near his bed, in physical, showing His omnipresence, reposing the little lad's faith in Him. Audience was taken to nostalgic days of Divine physical darshan when the drama had Bhagawan coming out into Sai Kulwant Hall granting coveted darshan.

Prasanthi's Divine Theatre had witnessed many a cultural programme, some quite atypical, over the years in Bhagawan's physical presence. The final programme for the day was 'Beda Dance' by renowned artist Sri Chirag Mahida from Baroda. The artist, with his scintillating balancing feats, enthralled the audience for the next fifteen minutes, gradually scaling the benchmark of his breathtaking feats of balancing while engaged in dancing, before peaking into grand finale balancing more than ten round pots arranged one on top of the other.

Earlier the programme commenced at 1700 hrs. after regular half-an-hour Veda chanting with State President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, Sri Manohar Trikarnad wishing the audience with New Year Greetings. The State President also narrated a episode featuring an incident wherein Bhagawan showed His unseen hand helping devotees, who are reposed in faith. The president's speech was followed by chanting of Maha Ganesh Pancharatna Strotram by Sai Youth Girls from the state followed by a short dance programme, "Gananayakaya Ganadaivataya..." by Balvikas Girls.

Bhajans by Gujarat devotees continued for the last fifteen minutes before Mangala Arathi was offered at 1830 hrs. The final bhajan was "Rama Kodanda Rama..." in Bhagawan's mellifluous voice, a Thursday Special. All the participating children and the guest artist were felicitated and prasadam was distributed to the entire assembly.
