Edición 29 a 16 julio 2017 Nota del editor...  Swami nos ha dado a todos la oportunidad de ser parte de su gloriosa misión, puramente por su misericordia! Y mira este compasivo Señor, con amor de mil madres, Él continúa trabajando pacientemente con instrumentos imperfectos como nosotros. Nunca vamos a darnos cuenta de que algún día, el Seva en el que estamos involucrados, que es probablemente minúsculo en comparación con su grandiosa misión, es sólo para que nos convirtamos en mejores seres humanos, y nos demos cuenta de nuestro verdadero propósito. El mensaje de Swami a la juventud Sai alrededor del mundo esta semana es: "Al hacer Seva, si piensa en los demás, se convierte en desinteresado y puro. Usted se convertirá en una cama fértil para sembrar la semilla de la auto-realización. Es entonces cuando el árbol crecerá. Te he dado la oportunidad de hacer Seva, que ayudará a labrar la tierra, para prepararse para recibir lo que he venido a dar. El mejor Seva que uno puede hacer es realizar el Ser!"  Suyo en Su servicio, Bhuvana Santhanam  Actualizaciones de servicios. Iniciativa de Salud por genero y Clases  Dominical de Valores La juventud del sudeste de Queensland tuvo la oportunidad de ofrecer una sesión de vida saludable sobre los hábitos de comer y beber saludables para los alumnos de la Escuela Toogoolawa en Ormeau (aproximadamente 30 minutos al sur de Brisbane), el 6 de junio de 2017. Esta escuela es una escuela independiente de aproximadamente 75 niños, que tienen dificultades en la escolarización general y básicamente se les da una segunda oportunidad de obtener una educación con la ventaja añadida de un enfoque en el desarrollo del carácter. Jóvenes de Perth siguen sus clases de valores de domingo con los niños. Alimentación sin hogar. Siendo el pico del invierno ahora y con una caída repentina de la temperatura aquí esta semana, el Viernes 7 de julio de, 2017en  Brisbane jóvenes salieron a las calles de la ciudad después del trabajo, para distribuir mantas compradas en las tiendas tibetanas en Kodaikanal, India. Con el dinero que Swami les dio. También hicieron unos sandwiches y los distribuyeron. La juventud en la Instalación de Elder-Care  Jóvenes japoneses visitaron una instalación para el cuidado de los ancianos, para compartir su amor y respeto con los residentes el 1 de julio de 2017. Este proyecto Seva es un programa conjunto, con el grupo educativo que se centra en el desarrollo de los valores humanos entre los dos, voluntarios y receptores, mediante la práctica del amor y agradecimiento. Trece voluntarios pasaron tiempo de calidad con aproximadamente quince personas de edad avanzada en la instalación.  Clases Balvikas en Indonesia  El 25 de junio de 2017, los jóvenes del Ashram  Sai Pooja en Indonesia participando de clases Balvikas. Esta, es una actividad mensual de rutina donde los estudiantes Balvikas se reunen en el Ashram. Fueron guiados sobre cómo respetar a sus padres, ayudar a sus amigos, y hacer todo lo posible para ayudar a los demás, y compartir. El material se organiza en forma de juegos para ayudar a mejorar la comprensión  de la materia de los estudiantes y para que sea más interesante. "Los niños de Dios" Proyecto Ventilador donación e instalación  “Los huérfanos son más fáciles de ignorar, antes de saber sus nombres. Son más fáciles de ignorar, antes de ver sus caras. Es más fácil pretender que no son reales, antes de que los tengas en tus brazos. Pero una vez que lo haces, todo cambia.”(David Platt) Esto es exactamente lo que los jóvenes de la Fundación Sai Prema siente con respecto a los hijos de Dilkusha. Dando agradecimiento al Maestro Divino por darles la oportunidad de servir a sus hijos muy preciados.  Donación de Sangre en Plaza Tappoocity  La juventud de la Fundación Sai Prema emprendió otro viaje para recoger algo muy necesario, “amor líquido” - sangre. La juventud se asoció con el Departamento Nacional de Fiji de Servicios de Sangre del Ministerio de Salud, y llevaron a cabo un largo viaje, el sábado 17 junio, de 2017, a Plaza Tappoocity , en el centro de Suva, Fiji. Esta actividad de servicio fue motivada por un reciente pedido por el Ministerio de Salud de Fiji y Servicio Nacional de Sangre destacando la escasez de sangre en su banco de sangre de Suva. Grama Seva y Campamento Médico.  Más de ciento sesenta pacientes en las cuatro aldeas, fueron seleccionados y se les dio tratamiento. Debido a la lejanía de estos pueblos, hay una necesidad de visitas más regulares. Los jóvenes ganaron una valiosa experiencia y experimentaron una alegría satisfactoria por ser capaces de servir a los aldeanos.  Proyecto de trabajo a domicilio.  La juventud de Singapur participó en un proyecto llamado “Proyecto de trabajo a domicilio”. Se trata de un proyecto de reconstrucción de hogares, organizado mensualmente para "Habitat para la Humanidad', una organización cristiana de vivienda sin fines de lucro con la misión de eliminar las viviendas pobres en todo el mundo, mediante la construcción de casas sencillas y decentes con la ayuda de los propios voluntarios y las familias propietarias. “Proyecto Comidas caseras”  Hay cerca de un millón de trabajadores migrantes de bajos salarios en Singapur. Ellos representan alrededor del 20 por ciento de la población total y se emplean sobre todo en la construcción, los astilleros, los servicios de saneamiento, la fabricación y el trabajo doméstico. El mensaje de 'servir a la humanidad' de Swami, se convirtió en la luz de guía y una comunidad de jóvenes afines se formó rápidamente. Hoy en día, con veinte a treinta chefs y con cinco a seis conductores, trescientos paquetes de comida casera se entregan todos los domingos a estos trabajadores migrantes.

Issue 29 - July 16, 2017 Editors Note... Swami has given us all an opportunity to be a part of His glorious mission, purely out of His mercy!   And look at this compassionate Lord, with love of a thousand mothers, He continues to patiently work with flawed instruments like us.   Will we ever realise someday that the  Seva that we engage in, which is probably minuscule in comparison to His grandiose mission, is only so that we become better human beings, and realise our true purpose?   Swami's message to the Sai Youth around the world this week:   "When you do Seva, you think of others, and become selfless and purer.  You will become a fertile bed to sow the seed of Self-Realisation. That's when the tree will grow.  I have given you this opportunity to do Seva, which will help you to till the soil, to prepare you to receive what I have come to give.  The best Seva one can do is to realise the Self!"  Yours in His Service, Bhuvana Santhanam  Service Updates Health in Kind Initiative and Sunday Value Classes The youth of Southeast Queensland had the opportunity to provide a healthy living session on healthy eating and drinking habits to the students of the Toogoolawa School in Ormeau (approximately 30 minutes south of Brisbane) on the June 6, 2017. This school is an independent school of approximately 75 boys who have difficulty in functioning in mainstream schooling and are basically given a second chance at obtaining an education with the added bonus of a focus on character development. Perth youth continue their Sunday values classes with children.   Homeless Feeding Being the peak of winter now and with a sudden drop in temperature here this week, on Friday July 7, 2017 Brisbane youth went out into the streets of the city after work to distribute blankets bought from the Tibetan shops in Kodaikanal, India with the money that Swami gave them. They also made some sandwiches and distributed them too. Youth at Elder-Care Facility  Japanese youth visited an elder-care facility to share their love and respect with the residents on July 1, 2017. This seva project is a joint program with the educational group which focuses on development of the Human Values within both volunteers and recipients by practicing love and gratitude. Thirteen volunteers spent quality time with approximately fifteen elderly people in the facility.  Balvikas Classes in Indonesia  On June 25, 2017, youth from Sai Pooja Ashram in Indonesia continued Balvikas classes. This was a routine monthly activity whereBalvikas students were gathered around the Ashram.   They were guided on how to respect their parents, help their friends, try their best to help others, and to share. The material was organised in the form of games to help improve the students understanding of the subject and to make it more interesting.  "Children of God" Project  Fan Donation and Installation   “Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.” (David Platt ) This is exactly how the youth of Sai Prema Foundation feel with regards to the children of Dilkusha Home and pay gratitude to the Divine Master for giving the opportunity to serve his very precious children. Blood Drive at Tappoocity Plaza The Youth of Sai Prema Foundation embarked on yet another journey to collect some much needed “liquid love” - blood. The youth teamed up with the Fiji National Blood Services Department from the Ministry of Health and conducted a day long blood drive on Saturday June 17, 2017 at Tappoocity Plaza, in the heart of Suva, Fiji.   This service activity was prompted by a recent appeal by the Ministry of Health and Fiji National Blood Service highlighting a shortage of blood at their blood bank in Suva. Grama Seva and Medical Camp  Over hundred and sixty patients in the four villages were screened and given treatment. Due to the remoteness of these villages, there is a need for more regular visits.   The youth gained valuable experiences and experienced a satisfactory joy by being able to serve the villagers. Project Homework  The youth of Singapore took part in a project called “Project Homeworks”. This is a home rebuilding project organised monthly by ‘Habitat for Humanity’, a non-profit Christian housing organisation with a mission to eliminate poverty housing worldwide by building simple and decent houses with the help of the homeowner families themselves and volunteers. Purely His Mission aka “Project Home Meals”  There are nearly one million low-wage migrant workers in Singapore. They make up about 20 per cent of the total population and are mostly employed in construction, shipyards, sanitation services, manufacturing and domestic work.  Swami’s message of ‘Serving Humanity’ became the guiding light and a community of like-minded youths was quickly formed. Today, with twenty to thirty chefs and five to six drivers, three hundred packs of home cooked food are delivered every Sunday to these migrant workers.
