¿Qué vale Dios?

Fue cuando visitamos la casa de un alumno en Bangalore, que había invitado a Bhagavan y también a todos sus profesores del campus, que mientras hablaba con todos los que se habían reunido, uno de los devotos comentó: "El valor de esta propiedad en Bangalore se ha ido hoy por las nubes, porque ha sido santificado por la presencia de Bhagavan ".

Swami fue rápido en responder, "Nadie puede ponerme un valor, ya que Mi presencia es invaluable." 
Él lo corroboró con la historia de ' Thulabharam ' de la vida de Sri Krishna, cuando Sus Propias esposas Sathyabhama y Rukmini trataron de sopesarlo en oro, haciendo que el Señor Krishna se siente en un lado, y poniendo todo el oro en el otro lado de la balanza.

Swami preguntó: "¿Todo el oro que tenían las reinas, igualaba a Krishna?"

"No Swami", fue una respuesta colectiva.

"Sí, así que la inteligente Reina Rukmini tomó una hoja de Tulasi y escribió el nombre de Krishna con su horquilla, y colocó la hoja sobre la pila de oro, e inmediatamente el peso se igualo. Entonces, ¿cuál es el significado? ", Preguntó Swami.

What is God’s worth?

It was when we visited the home of an alumni at Bangalore who had invited Bhagawan and also all his teachers from the campus, that while speaking with all who had gathered, one of the devotees remarked, “The value of this property in Bangalore has gone up by many notches today because it has been sanctified by Bhagawan presence.”

Swami was quick to reply, “No one can put a value to Me, as My presence is invaluable.” He substantiated with the story of ‘Thulabharam‘ from the life of Sri Krishna when His Own Dear wives Sathyabhama and Rukmini tried to weight him in gold by making Lord Krishna sit on one side, and keeping all the gold on the other side of the large balance.

Swami asked, “Did all the gold that the Queens had, weigh Krishna equal?”

“No Swami”, was a collective response.

“Yes, so the clever Queen Rukmini took a Tulasi leaf and wrote the name of Krishna with her hairpin, and put the leaf on the pile of gold, and immediately the balance weighed equal. So, what is the significance?”, asked Swami.

“Krishna’s name is equal to Krishna’s form”, the expected reply came from one of the ladies.

But Swami elevated the meaning of this episode to another level altogether when He said, “This means Krishna alone is equal to Krishna. Therefore, the value of God can be equalled by God alone, and nothing else!”

A lesson for everyone to remember! He alone is His value!

" Sí, todos ustedes me aman, pero la cosa es que ustedes también aman el mundo.! Ahí es donde está el problema. Cuando me amas exclusivamente, con exclusión de todo lo demás, entonces me amas de verdad."

Cuando alguien de la audiencia preguntó a Sri Madhusudan Naidu cuál era la calificación para estar con Dios, respondió así.

Cuando le pregunté a Swami por qué me había elegido a mí y no a otro, su respuesta fue 'No te elegí, tú me elegiste'. Definitivamente, no estoy calificado para este trabajo. Por supuesto, mis calificaciones académicas no tienen consecuencias aquí. La única calificación que puedo pensar es en el poco amor que tengo por Swami. Creo que la única calificación con Swami, que le importa a cualquiera en la misión de Swami, es el amor por él.

Una vez, cuando los estudiantes dijeron: "Swami, todos te amamos". Él dijo, sí, todos ustedes me aman, ¡pero también aman el mundo! Cuando me amas exclusivamente, excluyendo todo lo demás, entonces realmente me amas. Esa es la calificación para estar con Swami. Definitivamente por cualquier otro medio en términos de pureza, castidad, sacrificio, desinterés, como sea que lo llames, no estoy calificado. Entonces, soy poco calificado, pero empleado con Dios, porque quería estar con Dios. Esa era una cosa que siempre estaba en mi mente. Él está conmigo, eso es todo lo que puedo decir.

Una vez fuera de mi ego, le dije a Swami. "¡He sacrificado tanto por ti, Swami!" Y casi sorprendido, dijo: "¿Qué ?!" ¿Te sacrificaste por mí? Soy Yo quien se ha sacrificado por ti. Entonces me sorprendí, en cuanto a lo que sacrificó por mí. Pensé que renuncié a mi trabajo, no continué con mi vida en la ciudad, ya no puedo ver mis películas, no puedo ir a los centros comerciales, comer comida basura, así que pensé que había sacrificado mucho. "No, soy Yo quien ha sacrificado mucho por ti", dijo. 

Le pregunté cómo? Y luego Él respondió: "Mira, eres un mal instrumento, y sin embargo, te estoy utilizando por mi misericordia. Es tan difícil trabajar con un bisturí malo para un cirujano, si el bisturí es contundente o esta torcido, es difícil hacer la cirugía. Sin embargo, puedo hacer la cirugía para salvar a los pacientes, lo que significa que es Mi habilidad, no su perfección ".

Hoy, cuando miro hacia atrás, definitivamente puedo decir que Èl sólo se ha sacrificado. De verdad, soporta a todos, incluyéndome a mí. Son sus habilidades maestras las que hacen que las cosas ocurran a pesar de nuestras locuras y defectos.

"Yes, you all love Me, but the thing is you love the world also! That is where the problem is. When you love Me exclusively, to the exclusion of everything else, then you truly love Me."

When Sri Madhusudan Naidu was asked by someone in the audience what was the qualification to be with God, he replied thus.

When I asked Swami why He had chosen me and not anybody else, His reply was ‘I did not choose you, you chose Me.’ Definitely, I am not qualified for this job. Of course, my academic qualifications are of no consequences over here. The only qualification I can think of is the little bit of love that I have for Swami. I think the only qualification with Swami which matters to anybody in Swami’s mission is the love for Him.

Once when the students said, “Swami, we all love you”. He said, yes you all love Me, but the thing is you love the world also! When you love Me exclusively, to the exclusion of everything else, then you truly love Me. That is the qualification to be with Swami. Definitely by any other means in terms of purity, chastity, sacrifice, selflessness, whatever you call it, I am not qualified. So, I am kind of an unqualified but employed with God because I wanted to be with God. That was one thing which was always on top of my mind. He is bearing with me, that’s all I can say.

Once out of my ego I told Swami. “I have sacrificed so much for You, Swami!” And almost surprised, He said, “What?!” You sacrificed for Me? It’s I who has sacrificed for you. Then I was surprised, as to what did He sacrifice for me. I thought that I gave up my job, I did not go on with my city life, I can’t watch my movies anymore, can’t go to malls, eat all the junk, so I thought I sacrificed a lot. “No, it’s I who has sacrificed a lot for you”, He said. I asked Him how? And then He replied, “See you are a bad instrument and yet I am using you out of my mercy. It is so difficult to work with a bad knife for a surgeon, if the knife is blunt or crooked, it’s difficult to do the surgery. Yet, I am able to do the surgery to save the patients, which means it’s My skill, not your perfection.”

Today, when I look back I can definitely say, He has only sacrificed. Truly, He bears with everyone including me. It is His master skills that are making things happen despite our follies and shortcomings.

En un satsang celebrado en la divina presencia en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia, el 11 de agosto de 2017; un devoto busca orientación sobre el lado oscuro de la creación. 

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami: 

Pregunta: Seguramente, debe haber un propósito para Ti, en haber creado el mal, esta dualidad, que son como las dos caras de la misma moneda. ¿Cuál es el propósito de haber creado el mal, Swami.?

Swami: No creé el mal ni el bien; Creé el Universo, que siempre es bueno. Mientras todos sigan las reglas de este juego llamado vida, todo está bien.

Daré un ejemplo: digamos que estás jugando un juego de fútbol. En el fútbol, debe haber dos equipos para jugar el juego. ¿Cómo puede ser un juego, si la misma persona patea la pelota, corre con la pelota y marca el gol? No puede. Alguien debe oponerse a el. Debe haber dos equipos, uno en este lado y otro en ese lado. Ambos juegan con un buen espíritu del juego. No hay maldad. El equipo perdedor no puede llamar malo al otro equipo, porque se está oponiendo al equipo que está anotando el gol.

Por el contrario, el equipo ganador, no puede llamar al otro equipo malo, ya que están tratando de ganar el juego. Es un juego. El que comprende esto a fondo, no va a ver el mal o bien, sólo dos fuerzas opuestas, que son parte del juego. Cuando los equipos continúan jugando según las reglas, de acuerdo con la ley, definitivamente no hay problema. Sin embargo, si un equipo comienza a jugar sucio, romper las reglas y hacer las cosas no permitidas, que es cuando comienza el mal o la maldad. Cuando uno se vuelve egoísta y trata de ganar a costa de los demás, entonces el juego se estropeó. 

Dios ha creado todo de la misma manera. El egoísmo surgió cuando el hombre comenzó a usar la facultad de su mente, al identificarse con la existencia limitada del cuerpo y la mente. Fue entonces cuando todas las reglas se rompieron por completo y comenzaron las dificultades. Entonces Dios viene como un árbitro y te recuerda que lo que estás haciendo está mal, y no debería hacerse así. Cuando el individuo se corrige a sí mismo, el juego continúa pacíficamente y se convierte en una alegría o entretenimiento para todas las personas que miran y para todas las personas que juegan. 

Ese es el espíritu con el que debes entender el funcionamiento de este Universo, así como todos los esfuerzos que Swami realiza para regresar y enseñarte cómo no infringir las reglas y cómo no cometer faltas. Juega en el espíritu del juego, que es disfrutar toda la experiencia de la vida. Eso es exactamente lo que debes intentar hacer. Si juegas bien, dentro de las reglas, incluso si pierdes el juego, seguirás siendo feliz, no triste. Cuando juegas mal, de forma incorrecta, incluso si ganas el juego, no puedes ser feliz. Así es como debes entender las reglas y regulaciones del Universo.

I did not create evil or good; I created the Universe, which is always good.

Sairam,

In a satsang held in the divine presence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 11 August 2017; a devotee seeks guidance on the dark side in the creation.

And here is what Swami said:

Question: Surely, there must be a purpose for You to have created evil, this duality, which are like the two sides of the same coin. What is the purpose of evil, Swami, that You have created?

Swami: I did not create evil or good; I created the Universe, which is always good. As long as everybody follows the rules of this game called life, everything is good.

I will give an example: Let us say you are playing a game of football. In football, there must be two teams to play the game. How can it be a game if the same person kicks the ball, runs with the ball and makes the goal? He cannot. Somebody must oppose him. There must be two teams – one on this side and one on that side. Both play with a good spirit of the game. There is no evil. The losing team cannot call the other team evil because they are opposing the team which is scoring the goal.

Conversely, the winning team cannot call the other team evil because they are trying to win the game. It is a game. One who understands this thoroughly, will not see evil or good, only two opposite forces, which are part of the game. When the teams continue playing according to the rules, according to the law, there is definitely no problem. However, if one team starts playing foul, breaking the rules and doing things not permitted, that is when bad or evil begins. When one becomes selfish and tries to gain at the cost of others, then the game gets spoilt.

God has created everything in an equal way. The selfishness arose within when man started using the faculty of his mind, by identifying himself with only the limited existence of body and mind. That is when all the rules were completely broken and difficulties began. God then comes like a referee and reminds you that what you are doing is wrong, and should not be done like that. When the individual corrects himself, the game goes on peacefully and it becomes a joy or entertainment for all the people who watch and all the people who play.

That is the spirit with which you must understand the working of this Universe, as well as all the efforts that Swami puts in to come back and teach you how to not break the rules, and how to not play foul. Play in the spirit of the game, which is to enjoy the whole experience of life. That is exactly what you must try to do. If you play it well, within the rules, then even if you lose the game, you will still be happy, not sad. When you play it wrong, in a foul way, even if you win the game, you cannot be happy. This is how you must understand the rules and regulations of the Universe.
