Om Sai Sairam querida familia:
Un saludo a todos y cada uno con motivo de las celebraciones del 87 cumpleaños de Swami. ¡Qué gran fiesta la que fue!!!...La inmensa gracia de Swami y su "Presencia Celestial" , se hizo sentir en todo y fue una experiencia increíble para todos nosotros. Las celebraciones del 87 cumpleaños de nuestro amado Señor re-energizo, volvió a cargar y encender el poder divino en nosotros y de que todo es su gracia.
Desde el 18 de noviembre cuando se realizo el Rathotsavam anual (Tirando del carro) Venu Gopal de Swami desde el viejo mandir de Swami, que ahora se llama Pedda Venkamar Raju Kalyana Mandapam (un salón de bodas con el nombre del padre físico de Swami). Durante los días de su presencia física, solía salia a la puerta Gopuram para recibir al Ratham (Carroza) que los estudiantes acompañaban con cantos vedicos y bhajans.
El Rathotsavam de este año fue muy especial porque, por primera vez todo el estado de Andhra Pradesh, incluidos los niños Balvikas de Puttaparthi y devotos, participaron en la procesión de una hora. Todo el camino que conduce desde el viejo Mandir (justo al lado del Mandir de Hanuman), hasta la puerta Gopuram estaba hermosamente decorado. Rangolis(dibujos con polvos de colores) impresionantemente coloridos se extendieron por todo el camino, mangos estaban atados a ambos lados de la carretera a lo largo de los tallos de plátano, creando un ambiente pintoresco y hermoso. Era un espectáculo para los devotos. Bien vestidos para la ocasión bailaban al estilo tradicional. Todo el pueblo de Puttaparthi se reunio. Quedandose quietos viendo la hermosa y colorida procesión de Venugopal Swami en el carro.
La Administración y los ancianos del ashram dieron la bienvenida a la Carroza rompiendo cocos a su paso y tirando del carro. Como el año pasado, este año también la boda celestial de Sita Rama se llevó a cabo en Sai Kulwanth. Durante los días de presencia física de Swami esto se hacía en el mandir de bhajans.
En los últimos días hemos sido testigos de algunos dramas increíble, programas musicales, bhajans por devotos de Indonesia, Tailandia, República Dominicana y así sucesivamente.
El 19 de noviembre, el Día de la Mujer el día comenzó con charlas excelentes por Ms. Meyer, contando experiencias de aquellos tiempos duros del Tsunami en Japón por Ms. Kayoko Hira.
El programa del día de las Damas por la tarde tuvo más ofrendas, comenzó con un concierto de piano de Ms. Maria en el piano y Ms. Radha que cantó algunas canciones maravillosas en Inglés.
Esto fue seguido por un programa musical por dos hermanas Ms. Lalitha y Ms. Hari Priya , popularmente conocidas como las Hermanas de Hyderabad, que comenzaron su concierto con "Vatabhi Ganapathim" y terminó con un número escrito por el famoso Annamacharya en alabanza del Señor Venkateswara "Mokkade Brahma", cuando todos los asistentes se les unió.
La "guinda del pastel" fue un hermoso programa de los niños de la escuela primaria que en el pasado reciente (por ejemplo durante los últimos 9 años más o menos), han ido poniendo en marcha programas hermosos que son tecnológicamente y espiritualmente avanzados, dando una duro competencia a sus hermanos y hermanas mayores en el Colegio.
Como mi padre era uno de los sastres que socia los vestidos para el drama, me dieron un pase para que yo pueda sentarme más cerca. Yo personalmente no apetece usar las entradas VIP, ya que es mas alegre y divertido entrar al Salón Sai Kulwanth a través de las puertas normales.
Pero sólo para hacer feliz a mi padre y yo sabía que él había conseguido este pase especial para hacerme feliz, he usado esta oportunidad de introducir Sai kulwanth en la sala por la puerta vip. El hermano sevadal me llevó justo a el frente y yo estaba justo detrás de los chicos Vedam y junto al personal del hospital.
El programa fue un regalo para la vista de la obra de teatro realizada por los estudiantes que representaron la gloria de Sathya Sai Avatar desde sus días infantiles.
Los 45 minutos del programa a largo terminó con una canción hermosa "Saiesha nee namamu entho Ruchira".
Mientras el drama se desarrollaba, hubo algunas escenas emocionales y videos con las bendiciones del amor de Swami y esta canción en particular cuando se canto, genero un silencio absoluto en la sala. Cuando miré a mi alrededor, vi a dos médicos adjuntos con lágrimas en sus mejillas. He estado viéndolos desde hace mucho tiempo y verlos con lágrimas fue un gran shock para mí. Le dije a Swami desde dentro: "¡Oh Swami, este es por todo el amor recibido. Esta es nuestra gran fortuna de poder derramar una lágrima por nuestro Señor. Si hay algo que están llevando a cabo estos" doctores benditos "trabajando aún para ti, entonces es sólo tu amor y nada más.
Hermanas y hermanos, viendo este incidente, y por aquellos que están difundiendo rumores de médicos, y maestros que se van de las instituciones de Swami, es por su ignorancia y mentalidad estrecha. El trabajo de Swami seguirá con mucho más vigor y celo, y sera un modelo para el mundo entero.
Era una situación similar cuando la 31 ª convocatoria de la Universidad Sathya Sai estaba en marcha. Aquellos estudiantes que ganaron medallas de oro fue hasta la silla de Swami más tarde para recibir el premio (del jefe invitado Sri. Anil Kakodkar, un científico nuclear eminente de Bhaba Atomic Research Center, Mumbai) y luego llegaron a la silla de Swami para posar para una fotografía . Todos los que fueron testigo sintieron la presencia de Swami . Un devoto sentado a mi lado decia, ¿qué pasa si Swami es visto sentado en al menos una de las fotos tomadas mientras los estudiantes posan para una fotografía sosteniendo sus medallas. Puttaparthi estaria lleno a rebosar todos los días.
Swami sabe cuándo mostrar su poder divino. Parece que, en la actualidad está buscando a verdaderos devotos, no sólo devotos.
El programa también fue el cumpleaños de un ser fantástico. El invitado principal para el programa de cumpleaños de este año fue el Gobernador de Tripura, Sri. DY Patil quien habló sobre la ausencia de ego y cómo está agradecido a Swami por todo lo que tiene en su vida ahora. Él también dio a conocer el segundo informe anual de Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust y un libro titulado "Sathya Sai Sambhasanam 'Con mensajes de Swami escritos de su propia mano.
El programa de la mañana se inició con hermosos cantos de los estudiantes de Swami, seguido por el concierto de los hermanos benditos, Hermanos Malladi.
Más tarde Sri. TKK. Bhagawath, Miembro de Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust habló largo y tendido sobre las actividades realizadas por el Fideicomiso y reiteró que el Sathya Sai Trust continuará su servicio a la sociedad y la humanidad, bajo el mandato divino de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
En medio de aplausos y alegría, Sri. Bhagawath anunció el proyecto de abastecimiento de agua extendido a los pueblos vecinos, con un costo estimado de 75 rupias crores donde en pueblos tienen altos contenidos de flúor en el agua, y se les suministrara agua potable. También se anunció que otras 300 casas se construyeron para los damnificados por las inundaciones en Odhisha.
Las diferentes variedades y sabores de tortas preparadas por los estudiantes y devotos fueron bendecidos también en esta ocasión.
El programa de la noche era también una delicia musical para todos y lo más destacado fue la ceremonia jhoola(sillón hamaca), donde, en el magníficamente decorado jhoola de plata utilizado por Swami hace algunos años se coloco en medio de Sai kulwanth Hall.
También fue un motivo de alegría y felicidad a todos los devotos de Prashanti y de Puttaparthi, mostradores de comida libres en la estación de ferrocarril fueron dispuestas para todos los devotos. Jóvenes de Puttaparthi dispusieron café / té, comidas gratis para todos los devotos en algunos puntos estratégicos de Puttaparthi. También hubo un almuerzo suntuoso para todos en el ashram donde ha unos pocos miles sirvieron comida libre detrás de los edificios norte de Prashanti Nilayam.
En general, fue un fantástico día dedicado a un increíble Avatar de esta Era de Kali, un día de re-unión con Dios, un día que trajo a todos los hermanos juntos ha su redil, un día que nos recuerda el verdadero propósito de la vida. .
Pedimos que Swami nos guíe y nos ayude a alcanzar el objetivo último de la vida ..

87th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS.. NEWS FROM PUTTAPARTHI.
Om Sairam dearest Sai Family:
Greetings to one and all on the occasion of Swami's 87th Birthday celebrations. What a grand the celebration it was!!!! Swami's immense grace and "Celestial Presence" was felt all over and it was just an amazing experience for all of us. The 87th Birthday celebrations of our beloved Lord re-energised, re-charged and ignited the divine power in us and it was all His grace. Right from November 18th when the annual Rathotsavam (Pulling the Chariot) of Venu Gopal Swami from Swami's old mandir Which is now called as Pedda Venkamar Raju Kalyana Mandapam ( a wedding hall named after Swami's physical father) . During the days of Swami's physical presence, He used to come out of Gopuram gate to welcome the Ratham (Chariot) as students used to chant vedas and sing bhajans.
This year's Rathotsavam was very unique because for the first time the whole state of Andhra Pradesh including the Puttaparthi Balvikas children and devotees participated in the hour long procession. The whole road leading to the Old Mandir (right next to Hanuman Mandir) from Gopuram gate was beautifully decorated. Stunningly colorful Rangolis spread all over the road, mango leaves tied on either side of the road along with banana stems made the whole atmosphere scenic and beautiful. It was a sight for the heavens.As devotees well dressed up for the occasion danced in the traditional style. The whole village of Puttaparthi came to a stand still watching the beautiful and colour ful procession of Venugopal Swami in the chariot.
The Trustees and elders of the ashram welcomed the Chariot by breaking the coconuts and trying their hand by pulling the chariot. Like last year, this year as well the celestial wedding of Sita Rama was performed in Sai Kulwanth hall. During the days of Swami's physical presence this used to be done in the bhajan mandir.
In the later days we witnessed some amazing dramas, musical programmes, bhajans by devotees from Indonesia, Thailand, Dominican Republic and so on.
On the 19th November, Women's day the day started with excellent talks by Ms.Meyer and an breath taking experiences of those testing times of Japan Tsunami by Ms.Kayoko Hira of Japan.
The eveniing programme of Ladies day had more in the offering which first started with a piano concert by Ms.Maria on piano and Ms.Radha who sang few wonderful songs in English.
This was followed by a musical programme by two sisters Ms.Lalitha and Ms.Hari Priya popularly known as Hyderabad Sisters who started their concert with "Vatabhi Ganapathim" and even though a little fumble at the end but ended with a famous number penned by Annamacharya in praise of Lord Venkateswara "Brahma Mokkade" as all the audience joined them.
The "icing on the cake" was in the offering, a beautiful programme by the primary school children who in the recent past ( say for the past 9 years or so) have been putting up beautiful programmes which are technologically and spiritually advanced giving a tough competition to their elder brothers and sisters in the College.
As my father was one of the tailors who stitched the dresses for the drama, he got me a parent pass so that i can sit closer. i personally don't fancy to use the VIP entrances as there is so much joy and fun entering Sai Kulwanth Hall through regular gates.
Just to make my father happy and i knew he had got this special pass to make me happy, i used this opportunity to enter Sai kulwanth hall through the vip gate. The sevadal brother took me right in the front and i was right behind the vedam boys and next to the hospital staff.
The programme was a visual treat of excellent video on the back ground and dance, drama by the students who depicted the glory of Sathya Sai Avatar right from His child hood days.
The 45 minutes long programme ended with a beautiful song "Saiesha nee namamu entho ruchira". As the drama was progressing, there were few emotional scenes and videos of Swami showering His love and when this particular song was sung, there was absolute silence in the hall. While i looked around, i saw two senior doctors with tears flowing down their cheeks. I have been seeing them for quite a long time now and to see them in tears was a great shock to me. I told to Swami from within, "O Swami! this is how much You made us love. This is our great fortune that we are in a position to shed a tear for our Lord. If there is anything that is holding these "blessed doctors" to still work for YOU, then it is only YOUR LOVE and nothing else.
Sisters and Brothers, this incident if seen by those who are spreading rumours of doctors, teachers leaving Swami's institutions, would curse themselves for their ignorance and narrow minded ness. Swami's WORK will go on with much more vigor and zeal that we would be a role model for the whole world.
It was a similar situation when the 31st Annual convocation of Sathya Sai University was on. Those students who won gold medals went upto Swami's chair and later to accept the award( from the chief guest Sri.Anil Kakodkar, an eminent nueclear scientist from Bhaba Atomic Research Center, Mumbai )and then they came to Swami's chair to pose for a photograph. Every one who witnessed this would have felt Swami's presence right through. A devotee sitting next to me was saying, what if Swami is seen seated in atleast one of those photos taken while the students pose for a photograph holding their medals. Puttaparthi will be full to brim every day.
Swami knows when to show His divine power. Looks like, at present He is looking for REAL DEVOTEES if not just DEVOTEES.
The birthday programme was also a fantastic one. The chief guest for this year's birthday programme was the Governor of Tripura, Sri.D.Y.Patil who spoke about the egolessness and how he is thankful to Swami for all that He has in his life now. He also released the second annual report of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and a book titled "Sathya Sai Sambhasanam' containing Messages of Swami in His own hand writing.
The morning programme started with beautiful songs by Swami's students followed by the concert by the blessed brothers, Malladi Brothers.
Later Sri.TKK.Bhagawath, Member of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust spoke in length about the activities taken by up the Trust and re-iterated that the Sathya Sai Trust will continue its yeomen service to the society and mankind under the divine command of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Amidst cheers and joy, Sri.Bhagawath announced the extended water supply project to the neighbouring villages with an estimated cost of Rs.75 crores where in villages with high flouride content in water would be supplied with pure drinking water. It was also announced that another 300 houses would be built for the Odhisha Flood victims.
Different varieties and flavours of cakes prepared by students and devotees were also blessed on this occasion.
The Evening programme was also a musical treat for all and the highlight was the Jhoola ceremony, where in the beautifully decorated silver Jhoola used by Swami few years ago was kept in the middle of Sai kulwanth Hall.
It was also a matter of joy and happiness to all the devotees of Prashanthi and right from Puttaparthi railway station free food counters were arranged for all the devotees by the devotees. The Puttaparthi youth arranged free coffee/tea, food for all the devotees at few strategic points in Puttaparthi. There was also sumptuous lunch waiting for all in the ashram where in few thousands were served free food behind the North buildings of Prashanthi Nilayam.
Over all it was a fantastic day dedicated to an Amazing Avatar of this Kali Age, a day of re-union with God, a day that brought all sisters and brothers together in His Fold, a day which reminded us the real purpose of life..
May Swami continue to guide us and help us to reach the ultimate goal of Life..
