Masivo Nagar Sankeertan en Mumbai

Las celebraciones de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba está en plena marcha en todo el mundo. La gran ciudad de Mumbai también está tomando una gran ventaja en la organización de diversos programas en esta ocasión Santo.

Hoy en día,  20 de noviembre Sse vio una congregación masiva de devotos en varias partes de la ciudad de Mumbai. El Nagar sankeertan fue programado para iniciarse  a partir de tres diferentes partes de la ciudad. Los devotos de  Mumbai del Norte, los devotos de los suburbios del este, y los devotos de los suburbios occidentales, y se reunieron en tres lugares diferentes y marcharon por las calles, cantando Sai bhajans. A pesar de que era por la mañana muy temprano, el tráfico en algunos lugares tuvo que ser regulado para permitir la suave marcha de los devotos.

Los tres diferentes grupos convergieron en una zona céntrica de la ciudad, el Shivaji Park, y concluyó frente a un Mandir Ganesh que bordean el Maidan. Fiel a la Maharashtra tradición, el primero fue el Arathi, "Sukha Kartha, Dukha Hartha" ... el más popular Arathi a Ganesh . Esto fue seguido por el Sai Arathi.

Este programa único de Nagar sankeertan desde tres partes diferentes de la ciudad y que convergen en un lugar común, reunió a muchos devotos para participar en este gran programa. 

Sri. Anoop Saxena, el Presidente del Distrito de la Org.Seva Sri Sathya Sai de Mumbai, afirmó que más de 750 devotos de Sai, representantes de Samithies de casi todas las partes de la ciudad habían participado. El fervor devocional, y un gran entusiasmo entre los devotos, tuvo que ser visto para creerlo

Para todos, Swami parece haber abandonado su cuerpo físico. Sin embargo, los devotos creen que Bhagavan Baba está con ellos. Ellos demostraron su fe y devoción, por la forma en que participaron en la madrugada del masivo programa Nagar sankeertan.

Massive Nagar Sankeertan in Mumbai

The celebrations of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai baba is in full swing all over the world. The great city of Mumbai is also taking a big lead in organizing various programmes on this Holy occasion.

Today, the 20th November saw a massive congression of devotees is various parts of Mumbai city. The Nagar sankeertan was slated to start from three different parts of the city. The devotees from the North Mumbai, the devotees from Eastern suburbs, and the devotees from the western suburbs collected themselves in three different locations and marched along the street, singing Sai Bhajans. Even though it was very early morning, the traffic in some places had to be regulated to allow smooth march of the devotees.

All the three different groups converged in city’s central location, Shivaji Park, and concluded in front of a Ganesh Mandir bordering the Maidan. True to the Maharashtra tradition, the first Arathi was, “Sukha Kartha, Dukha Hartha”… the most popular Ganesh arathi. This was followed by Sai Arathi.

This unique programme of Nagar sankeertan from three different parts of city and converging in a common place, enabled maximum devotees to participate in this massive programme. Sri. Anoop Saxena, the District President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organizations, Mumbai, claimed that over 750 devotees representing Sai Samithies from almost all parts of the city had participated. The devotional fervor, and great enthusiasm among the devotees had to be seen to believe

For anybody, Swami would seem to have left His physical Body. But the devotees believe that Bhagavan Baba is still with them. They demonstrated this faith and devotion, by the way they participated in the early morning massive Nagar sankeertan Programme.

Celebraciones del Día de la Mujer en el Salón de Kulwanth - Programa de la tarde.


La sesión de la tarde de este Día de la Mujer comenzo a las 16:30 hrs. , con la recitación védica por las niñas de secundaria de la Escuela Primaria Sri Sathya Sai, seguido de ofrendas de amor en el Sancta Sanctorum.

Primer programa de la noche era bajo la dirección de la Sra. Mallika Srinivasan, directoar general de Tractores y Maquinaria Agrícola Ltd., TAFE, y un alto funcionario del Fondo de Bienestar de la Mujer, Ishvaramma .

Comenzando con un recuerdo de los días con el Amado Bhagavan, la señora Srinivasan destacó el papel de la mujer en la sociedad, citando a Bhagavan en Sus Divinos discursos. Vivir una vida siguiendo el camino de la rectitud, practicando los valores humanos, es lo que las mujeres deben hacer, dijo la señora Srinivasasn.

Hablando sobre el bienestar de las mujeres, la oradora hizo hincapié en la necesidad de iniciar las actividades de servicios dirigidos a la elevación  mujeres . Con Bhagavan físicamente ausente, debemos asegurarnos de que seamos dignas de su amor, por el estricto apego a sus enseñanzas, dijo la voz antes de terminar su discurso con la promesa de que "nosotras" estaríamos siempre con Sai.

El segundo programa de la sesión fue la "Oración de Gratitud", una parodia de danza de colores por los pequeñitos de la escuela primaria.

El programa fue una ofrenda colectiva de gratitud por todo lo que Bhagavan ha sido para ellos, y para la humanidad.  

Una escena interesante en Kailasha, con Bhagavan conversando con el Sabio Narada, mostró mucho entusiasmo por la asamblea. En respuesta a la oración de Narada, para que la humanidad tuviera su darshan, Bhagaván dijo a Narada, que su cuerpo pertenecía a la humanidad y él siempre respondía a la oración sincera de amor. Un clip de audio del discurso de Bhagavan se transmitió.

A continuación siguió un concierto Carnatic vocal, por la Sra. Bhagyalakshmi Suresh . A partir de una invocación ", Mahaganapathim ..." La Sra. Bhagyalakshmi continuaron con cuatro composiciones mas, que trataban sobre la  mujer perfecta ".

Siguió una breve presentación en vídeo. titulado "una instantánea del progreso ..." sobre la evolución de la confianza y el Bienestar de la Mujer Ishvaramma .


Bhajans por mayor niñas secundaria, fueron interpretados durante los siguientes quince minutos. Para el cierre cantaron con todo el corazón ", AAO Pyaare Nayan Hamaare ...", una invocación en bhajan, llamando al Amado Swami.


Artistas, músicos , acompañantes y los niños de la escuela primaria, fueron felicitados antes de ofrecer el Mangala Arathi a las 19:00 hrs. 

Prasadam fue distribuido a toda la asamblea.

Prasanthi Update - Ladies day celebrations in Kulwanth Hall - Evening Programme

The Evening session on this Ladies’ Day commenced at 1630 hrs. with Vedic chanting by higher secondary girls from Sri Sathya Sai “Primary School”, followed by love offerings at the Sanctum Sanctorum.


First programme in the evening was an address by Ms. Mallika Srinivasan, CEO, Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd., TAFE, and a senior official of Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust.


Beginning with a recollection of the days with Beloved Bhagawan, Mrs. Srinivasan highlighted on the role of women in society, quoting Bhagawan from His Divine discourses. Living a life following the path of Righteousness, practising human values is what women should follow, said Mrs. Srinivasasn.


Speaking on women welfare, the speaker stressed on the need to initiate service activities aimed at women upliftment. With Bhagawan physically absent, we must ensure that we are worthy of His love by strictly adhering to His teachings, said the speaker before ending her speech with a pledge that “we” would be ever with Sai.


The second programme for the session was “Prayer of Gratitude”, a colourful dance skit by the tiny tots from Primary School.


The programme was a collective offering of gratitude for all that Bhagawan has been for them, for the humanity. Attributeless Divine He Was…He Is…incarnated in human form that, these tiny tots offered tears of gratitude, calling various attributes of their attributeless Divine. The prayer was to listen to their heartfelt prayer.


An interesting scene at Kailasha, with Bhagawan conversing to Sage Narada evinced greater enthusiasm in the assembly. Answering to Narada’s prayer, to accede to the prayer of humanity granting them darshan, Bhagawan enlightened the sage, in poetic telugu, that His body belonged to humanity and He would ever respond to heartfelt prayer of love. An audio clip of Bhagawan’s discourse airing this message was also relayed.


A Carnatic vocal concert by Ms. Bhagyalakshmi Suresh followed. Beginning with an invocatory piece, “Mahaganapathim…” Ms. Bhagyalakshmi burst into four more compositions treating the audience with a perfect Ladies’ Day feast.


She sang like enjoying a direct audience with The Lord, with the soul of her music bursting directly at Bhagawan at the Sanctum Sanctorum and dispersing into each and every heart present in the hall enveloping the entire audience. As she burst into singing solos one after one, without any interludes of commentary, it turned out to be a rare Carnatic treat for the twilight’s assembly.


A short video presentation titled “a snapshot of progress…” on the evolution of Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust followed.


Bhajans by Higher Secondary girls continued for the next fifteen minutes. Bringing curtains close they sang their hearts out, ”Aao Pyaare Nayan Hamaare…”, an invocatory bhajan calling out Beloved Swami.


Artistes, accompanists and the Primary School children were felicitated before Mangala Arathi offering at 1900 hrs. Prasadam was distributed to the entire assembly.
