INNER VIEW
By Sri Madhusudan
Give to be happy
The river of Swami’s unconditional love always overflows it’s banks, so it was not surprising for us to see His heart melt with compassion into streams of pure love, when during a visit to a school run by a devotee on its 25th anniversary, He heard a little girl student pray to Him to look after his two siblings as they did not have the means to pay for their education.
Swami immediately called this girl and gave her a cheque for a large amount to be handed over to the Founder of the school, who had braved many odds to keep the school running for two and half decades despite severe constraints. The Founder was overjoyed when Swami told the girl, “Why pray only for your siblings, you must pray that Swami should help all the 450 children studying in the school. So I have now given enough and more to ensure that no one will be charged a fee here onwards, and all will study for free without worrying about finances.”
Thus the school that received students from over 35 nearby villages was now under the canopy of Bhagawan’s Grace of free education! As He came back that evening and was talking to a few volunteers and alumni, He said, “People feel happy when they get anything, but I feel happy when I give anything. Man gets to be happy, whereas God gives to be happy. Truly, if I hold something I feel troubled and I am happy only after I have unburdened myself of any holdings, and given it all away!”
Who else could teach us the higher joy of giving other than Swami and how else could He teach us, but by His own example!
The next morning a devotee touched by Swami’s gesture, offered a cheque to Him for the exact amount and a bit more, and Swami remarked, “See when I give, I get more so that I can give even more.”

THIRD YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF SRI SATHYA SAI ANNAPOORNA TRUST SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI DECEMBER 30, 2018
Morning
Started with a vision to encompass the whole world into one family, the revolution of love called ‘Annapoorna Breakfast Seva’ celebrated its sixth year of commencement alongside the Third Year Anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust in the very presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself.
It is humbling to know how Bhagawan, silently, through His chosen messengers, is reaching out to hundreds of thousands of young children offering His love in the form of food, and touching their lives to transform them into self-confident individuals. The numbers are unbelievably staggering, and yet Bhagawan mentioned that the movement has just begun, and has a long way to go.
Bhagawan was escorted into the Premamrutham Hall by the Vedam Group, and accompanied by Sri N Sampath, Chairman of the Annapoorna Trust, and Sri B N Narasimha Murthy. The programme started with an invocation by the students of Sri Sangameshwara Vidyalaya, Bengaluru, who chanted the Durga Suktam.
A short video was played to showcase the genesis and journey of the Annapoorna movement which now has touched the figure of 200,000 children, to whom breakfast is served every single morning!
Two beneficiary students shared the experiences of the Annapoorna Breakfast Seva in their school, and how it impacted their lives. The first was Kumari Rakshita, a student of Grade 10 from Government Model School, Bengaluru, who spoke in the Kannada language. In an emotional speech, she mentioned how the Seva activity brought a lot of change in her life, which was even noticed by her parents and also by her friends. She is so inspired by Bhagawan’s love that she wants to be an Annapoorna volunteer and a teacher. Bhagawan blessed her and assured....

The last divine Satsang and Darshan of the year 2018, one of the most extraordinary year in the continuing Avataricmission of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was held at Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutam Hall at Muddenahalli, Sri Sathya Sai Grama with a beautiful evening of music by the Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his illustrious sons and disciples, Sri Amaan Ali Bangash and Sri Ayaan Ali Bangash. Bhagawan was ushered in amidst soulful renditions of Bhajans soaked in love and devotion for God. Bhagawan compassionately went around the yearning devotees, and then took His seat.
No other musicians in India have a lineage as long and illustrious as this family, which stretches back in an unbroken link of seven generations over 200 years. The Bangash ancestors are credited for inventing the Sarod and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan who is the recipient of the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan awards, has performed at several prestigious venues and music festivals, world over. The trio of father and sons have been ardent devotees of Bhagawan and have been blessed to perform in Bhagawan’s presence, both in Prashanti Nilayam and Muddenahalli on several occasions.
With Sri Mithilesh Jha accompanying on the Tabla and Sri Krishnan on the Mridangam, the evening’s concert began with a beautiful composition in Raag Jhinjhoti played by Sri Amaan and Sri Ayaan Ali Bangash. The next piece, was a mesmerising rendition of the popular Bhajan, Prema Mudita Manase Kaho by Sri Amaan and Ayaan along with Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. NEW YEAR DAY CELEBRATIONS SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI JANUARY 01, 2019
Following a most magical New Year’s Eve with Bhagawan, the morning of New Year’s Day was filled with much joy and anticipation to see what 2019 would bring. Bhagawan glided into Premamrutham Hall, welcomed by a procession of Vedic chants and He walked amidst all who had eagerly gathered to seek His blessings for the beginning of the New Year, showering His love and blessings in abundance.
After Bhagawan had taken His seat on the dais, the morning’s proceedings began with a Vedic invocation to Lord Ganesha by the ninth-grade students of the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva High School.
This was followed by a recap of all the wonderful initiatives undertaken thus far, in the fields of education, healthcare, nutrition and solar power. In the past one year: five new educational campuses have sprung up across five districts in Karnataka, the E1E1 Programme has managed to expand to 1350 students, over 3000 children have received a new lease of life at Sai Sanjeevani hospitals, commencement of medical services was initiated at Khargar, Navi Mumbai and the work for a new Paediatric Cardiac hospital in Kolkata, was initiated by Bhagawan. Indeed, Bhagawan’s mission is ever on the increase and the mind-blowing number of projects being executed under His Divine guidance is truly a testament to the omnipresence and omnipotence of our Lord.
The morning celebrations then saw the release of a Bhajan CD called Sai Sudha, a collection of Shiva Bhajans, put together by alumni and devotees. This was followed by the release of the seventh volume of the book ‘Love Beyond Boundaries’. Authored by Sister Bhuvana Santhanam, the book covers Bhagawan’s travels across a number of countries between June and December 2018.
The first speaker for the morning, was Sri C Sreenivas, Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust. Sri Sreenivas beautifully expressed his gratitude to Bhagawan for all He has taught....
