Hoy, recién salido del horno, quería compartir este agradable incidente con todos ustedes. Han visto que hemos ido creciendo como Institución en todos los niveles. Ahora, más y más personas se están uniendo, ya sea en educación, cuidado de la salud o simplemente devotos que vienen y participan en diversas actividades, o los devotos que están en el extranjero haciendo cosas increíbles para Swami bajo su mando. 

Esta familia crece y crece todos los días.

Así que, obviamente, un personal que probablemente se sintió descuidado en toda esta fanfarria, estaba un poco angustiado, quizás un poco decepcionado. Y comenzó a pensar que probablemente era hora, para él, de mirar hacia afuera, porque no estaba obteniendo lo mejor aquí, tal vez era hora de que encuentre pastos más verdes.

Mientras desarrollaba este tipo de sentimiento, afortunadamente le rezó a Swami. Muchos de nosotros en tiempos negativos como estos estamos tan dominados por nuestro ego y apegos, que nos olvidamos de orarle para rescatarnos y salvarnos de nosotros mismos.

 Pero afortunadamente, este devoto envió una oración a Swami. "¡Swami! Esto es todo. Tengo muchos problemas en casa, en mi familia. Tengo tantas responsabilidades, compromisos, pero ves que estoy trabajando para Ti, pero no puedo llegar a fin de mes ". 

La primera reacción de mí como Madhusudan fue: "¡Dios mío! ¿Cómo puede alguien decir algo como esto? Swami está dando tanto amor que ni siquiera lo puede valorar. ¿Cómo puede alguien siquiera pensar en dejarlo a Èl o a su trabajo y buscar cosas tan mundanas, sólo por el bien de un poco de beneficios adicionales? ¿Cómo puede alguien renunciar a esta maravillosa oportunidad, que uno no podrá recuperar una vez perdida, por el bien de unas pocas comodidades adicionales? 

Esta fue mi primera reacción. Incluso mientras lo sentí de esa manera, fui y le dije a Swami, 'Este es un empleado él está orando así y depende de Ti, cualquiera que sea la decisión que tomes, simplemente la seguiremos ciegamente'. 

Entonces Swami dijo: "Llámalo". Nunca le había hablado tan personalmente en todos estos años. 

Obviamente, el personal tal vez se sintió descuidado. Estaba pensando en cómo Swami iba a resolver esto porque me pareció que el empleado había decidido irse. 

Swami lo llamó, puso su mano sobre el empleado y dijo: "Todas tus responsabilidades son mías. Cuidaré de todo. Tú sólo sirve a Mis hijos ". Y el hombre de una edad media, lloraba como un bebé. Tuve que consolarlo porque no era capaz de contener el estallido de todas las emociones reprimidas.

Esto me recordó el poema escrito por Swami hace décadas:

Sri Puttaparthi Nilayudu, Kapadu Ninnu Karunakarudai 

Cheyyipatti Ninnu Brochuvu 

Ee Pattuna vidavakunda Elunu Ninnu. 

Esto es lo que Swami le dijo a los devotos de regreso, probablemente en los años 40.

Él dijo: " Este Señor de Puttaparthi te protegerá como la encarnación de la compasión. Él te dará la mano y te llevará hacia adelante. Y él no va a dejar de sostener tu mano."

El Devoto que vino temblando de miedo acerca de su futuro volvió sollozando, empapado en lágrimas de gratitud y con gran valor de que puede enfrentar la vida de nuevo.

Entonces Krishna dijo, ‘Theshaam Nithyaabhi Yuktanaam Yogakshemam Vahamyaham’. 

Yo me haré cargo de su bien aquí, allí y en todas partes y sus yogakshema (el bien más alto), lo haré.

Krishna said, ‘Aham Twam Sarva Papebhyo Moksayisyami Ma Sucah’. 

Te voy a redimir de todos tus pecados y te voy a conceder la libertad de ti mismo. Ese es mi voto.

" Chaipatti kapaadute deeksha deeksha, dijo Swami. 

Tomar sus manos y proteger a los que se alejan del camino noble es Mi promesa.

Estaba tan conmovido por este gesto de Swami porqué me había nublado con mi propia opinión, juicio y percepción, mis propios cálculos de cuánto merece o no merece esa persona, pero cuando se trata de Swami, no hay cálculos, ni contabilidad, ni balances, simplemente Él pone Su mano y dice 'Has venido a Mi pidiendo Mi refugio. 

Aquí me comprometo a encargarme de todas sus responsabilidades. '

Y lo vi en acción. Lo he visto muchas veces, solo que esto sucedió hoy y estaba tan abrumado.

“All your responsibilities are Mine. I will look after everything. You just serve My children”.

Today, fresh from the oven, I wanted to share this nice incident with you all. You have seen that we have been growing as an institution at all levels. Now, more and more people are joining, be it in education, healthcare or be it just devotees who are coming and participating in various activities or the devotees who are abroad doing amazing things for Swami on His command. This family is growing and growing every day. So, obviously a staff who felt probably neglected in all this fanfare was a little distressed, a little disappointed perhaps. And he started thinking that probably it’s time for him to look out because he was not getting the best of the things over here, perhaps it’s time for him to find greener pastures. While he developed this kind of feeling, fortunately he prayed to Swami. Many of us in negative times like these are so overpowered by our ego and attachments that we forget to pray to Him to rescue and save us from our own selves. But luckily, this devotee sent out a prayer to Swami. “Swami! This is it. I have these many problems at home, in my family. I have so many responsibilities, commitments, but you see I am working for You but I am not able to make two ends meet”. The first reaction from me as Madhusudan was, ‘My God! How can somebody even say something like this? Swami is giving so much love that cannot be even valued. How can someone even think of leaving Him or His work and look for things so worldly just for the sake of a little extra benefits. How can somebody forego this wonderful opportunity which one cannot gain back once lost for the sake of a few additional comforts’. This was my first reaction. Even when I felt it this way, I went and told Swami, ‘This is a staff, he is praying thus and it’s up to You, whatever decision You take, we will simply blindly follow’. Then Swami said, “Call him”. He had never spoken to him so personally in all these years. Obviously, the staff perhaps felt neglected. I was thinking how Swami was going to solve this because it seemed to me that the staff had made up his mind to go away. Swami called him, put His hand on the staff and said, “All your responsibilities are Mine. I will look after everything. You just serve My children”. And the man who was in the middle age was sobbing like a baby. I had to console him for he was not able to contain the outburst of all the pent up emotions.

This reminded me of poem penned by Swami decades ago:

Sri Puttaparthi Nilayudu, Kapadu Ninnu Karunakarudai 

Cheyyipatti Ninnu Brochuvu 

Ee Pattuna vidavakunda Elunu Ninnu.

This is what Swami told devotees way back, probably in 40’s.

He said, “This Lord of Puttaparthi will protect you as the embodiment of compassion. He will hold your hand and take you forward. And He will not let go of this hold.”

This is what He said way back and I am seeing this happen even today. We are trying to wrest our hands out of His grip, ‘Leave me alone, I need to go I am done with all these things. I am fed up. This is all.’ Yet, with compassion for that one single staff out of hundreds of children and devotees, He finds time to call, makes him sit at His feet and gives him His word.

‘Abhayam Sarva Bhuutebhyo Dadaami Etad Vratam Mama’, said Lord Rama.

Those who surrender to Me, it’s my pledge that I will give Abhaya (Fearlessness) to them.

The devotee who came shaking with fear about his future went back sobbing, drenched in tears of gratitude and with great courage that he can face life again.

So Krishna said, ‘Theshaam Nithyaabhi Yuktanaam Yogakshemam Vahamyaham’.

I will take care of their good here, there and everywhere and their Yogakshema (the highest good), I will ensure.

Krishna said, ‘Aham Twam Sarva Papebhyo Moksayisyami Ma Sucah’.

I will redeem you of all your sins and I will grant you freedom from your own self. That is My vow.

‘Chaipatti Kapaadute Deeksha Naku,’ said Swami. To hold their hands and protect them who stray away from the noble path is My pledge.

I was so touched by this gesture of Swami because I had come clouded with my own opinion, judgment and perception, my own calculations of how much that person deserves or does not deserve but when it came to Swami, no calculations, no accounting, no balance sheets. Simply He puts His hand and says ‘You have come to Me asking for My refuge. Here I pledge to take care of all your responsibilities.’ And I saw that in action. I have seen it any number of times, just that this happened today and I was so overwhelmed.

Kodai Summer Retreat May 12, 2018.

Mayo 12 - Mañana.

Una mañana brillante y soleada volvió a asegurar que, poco después del desayuno, Swami iría caminando al Prayer Hall ( Salon d Plegarias), en lugar de llegar en automóvil. 

Y así fue, Swami caminó desde el Bungalow hasta el Salón de Oración. En realidad, uno ha llegado al punto de entender que solo hay uno, y no hay dos: Swami y el hermano Madhusudan.

 Entonces, cuando el hermano Madhusudan camina, uno asume que es la forma en que Swami camina. Todo este fenómeno de la forma sutil es ciertamente intrigante y desconcertante para muchos, pero a medida que pasan los días una cosa es cierta y clara, esto es algo para el corazón, y la mente no podrá comprenderlo jamás. 

El corazón sabe, y con seguridad ... en cuanto a cuánto tiempo alguien puede fingir que puede ver lo Divino o comunicar lo que sea que diga. ¡De ninguna manera! ¡Y, por supuesto, todo el trabajo que está sucediendo en todo el mundo es una prueba total de que NINGUNO de ellos son siquiera remotamente y humanamente pensables!

Aunque la mañana era soleada, una brisa fresca descendió sobre la Colina, y cuando Swami entró en la Sala de Oración, el alma conmovida por los bhajans parecían acariciar el núcleo interno del ser. 

El primer orador de la mañana fue Ankit Kumar. Se unió a la Institución hace unos años y ahora, bajo el mando de Swami, está cursando su contabilidad colegiada. El segundo orador de la mañana fue el Dr. Deekshith Shashidharan, médico residente en el Instituto Waynad de Ciencias Médicas en kerala, que ha sido un ferviente devoto de Bhagaván desde la infancia. Narró los casos de su vida, y agradeció a Swami profusamente por ser su luz guía con una promesa de que haría cualquier cosa por Swami y su misión.

Sri BN Narasimha Murthy recordó la visita de Swami a kodaikanal hace muchas décadas. Narró cómo Swami posaba para las fotografías, y otros casos que eran grandes oportunidades para los estudiantes que viajaban con Èl. Hablando de los chicos que precedieron a su charla, dijo que el futuro de la misión de Swami estaba a salvo en manos de jóvenes como ellos.

Swami comenzó Su discurso divino diciendo que Él trae a Su pueblo una y otra vez. "Al igual que un director de teatro que prepara un guión para un nuevo drama, elige actores para interpretar nuevos papeles. Los dramas pueden ser diferentes, los roles pueden ser diferentes, pero los actores son los que le gustan. Cuando representas un drama sobre Ramayana o Bhagavatam, es probable que la misma persona desempeñe el papel de Rama y Krishna.

En Kali Yuga, el mismo Señor ha encarnado como Sathya Sai, y aparte del héroe, habrá muchos co-actores. Dios elije a los mismos actores para que desempeñen diferentes roles en diferentes dramas. 

¡Aquellos a quienes considero Míos, y aquellos que Me consideran como suyo, siguen volviendo!

 Todos nosotros hemos estado juntos durante muchas vidas ". Hablando de los dos jóvenes oradores, Swami dijo:" Incluso a una edad muy tierna, estos dos muchachos tienen mucha devoción. Cuando el tiempo está maduro, una semilla brota y se convierte en un árbol. La semilla de la devoción no se plantó hoy, ¡fueron sembradas hace mucho tiempo! 

En esta etapa del mundo, todos son actores, desempeñando varios roles. Y todos están haciendo las cosas según el comando del Director. Él sabe lo que va a suceder. 

¡De tantas personas, están cerca de Swami y escuchándolo! Todos estos actores deben ser ejemplos, y con su ejemplo otras personas se inspirarán. Ten la alta sensación de que en este drama de Swami, ¡deberían jugar papeles ideales! "

El Mangala arati fue ofrecido, y luego Swami regresó al bungalow. 

Después de conceder algunas entrevistas, Swami vino a distribuir cámaras a sus estudiantes que vinieron a kodaikanal por primera vez. Luego se dirigió al comedor para participar en su almuerzo con los invitados, antes de descansar por la tarde.

Mayo 12-Noche.

Después de conceder unas cuantas entrevistas, Swami vino al Salón de Bhajans , donde todos estaban sentados, esperando ansiosamente con ansiedad para presenciar el despliegue de otra noche íntima con su dulce señor Sathya Sai.

May 12 - Morning.

A bright, sunny morning yet again ensured that soon after breakfast, Swami would walk to the Prayer Hall, instead of arriving by car. And so it was, Swami walked from the Bungalow down to the Prayer Hall. Actually, one has reached a point of understanding that there is only one, and no two - Swami and Brother Madhusudan. So when Brother Madhusudan walks, one assumes it is the way Swami is walking. This whole phenomenon of the subtle form is surely intriguing and mystifying to many, but as the days roll by one thing is certain and clear, this is something for the heart, and can never be fathomed by the mind. The heart knows, and it sure does...as for how long can someone feign being able to see the Divine or communicate whatever He says! No way! And of course all the work that is going on around the world is sheer proof that NONE of them are even remotely and humanly thinkable!

Though the morning was sunny, a cool breeze did descend upon the Hill, and as Swami walked into the Prayer Hall, the soul stirring Bhajans seemed to caress the inner core of the being. The first speaker of the morning was Ankit Kumar. He joined the Institution few years ago and now on Swami’s command is pursing his Chartered Accountancy. He recalled some very emotional moments with Swami and offered his gratitude to the Lord for having picked him to serve at a Campus, which will be established in his home town in Bihar in the future.

The second speaker for the morning was Dr Deekshith Shashidharan, a resident doctor at Waynad Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala, who has been an ardent devotee of Bhagawan since childhood. He narrated instances from his life, and thanked Swami profusely for being his guiding light with a pledge that he would do anything for Swami and His Mission.

Sri B N Narasimha Murthy reminisced Swami’s visit to Kodaikanal many decades ago. He narrated how Swami would pose for photographs, and other instances which were great opportunities for the students who travelled with Him. Speaking of the boys who preceded his talk, he said the future of Swami’s mission was safe in the hands of youngsters like them.

Swami started His divine discourse by saying that He brings back His people again and again. 

“Like a drama director who prepares a script for a new drama, he chooses actors to play new roles. Dramas may be different, roles may be different, but the actors are those whom he likes. When you stage a drama on Ramayana or Bhagawatam, the same person is likely to play the role of both Rama and Krishna.

In Kali Yuga, the same Lord has incarnated as Sathya Sai, and apart from the hero, there will be many co-actors. God brings down with Him the same actors to play different roles in different dramas. Those whom I consider Mine, and those who consider Me as theirs, keep coming back! All of us have been together for many lifetimes.” Speaking of the two young speakers, Swami said, “Even at a very tender age these two boys have so much of devotion. When the time is ripe, a seed sprouts and becomes a tree. The seed of devotion was not planted today, they were sown long back! On this stage of the world, all are actors, playing various roles. And all are doing things as per the command of the Director. He knows what is going to happen. Out of so many people, you are near Swami and listening to Him! All these actors should be examples, and by your example other people will derive inspiration. Have the lofty feeling that in this drama of Swami, you should play ideal roles!”

Mangala Arati was offered, and then Swami walked back to the Bungalow. After granting a few interviews, Swami came down to distribute cameras to His students who were coming to Kodaikanal for the very first time. He then proceeded to the dining hall to partake His lunch with the guests, before resting for the afternoon.

May 12 - Evening 

After granting a few interviews, Swami came down to the Bhajan Hall, where everyone were seated, eagerly waiting with bated breath to witness the unfolding of another intimate evening with their sweet Lord Sathya Sai. Yet again, Swami commanded students from the Bhajan group to render a few classical compositions. It was a blissful hour of listening to the students sing, and even more blissful to watch Swami interact with them.

After the music recital, Swami looked to the right of His chair where there was seated a boy, all of 15 and asked Him to speak. Anand Sai, who hails from a devoted family from Bidar in Karnataka narrated his story with Sai, which won everyone’s heart. When Anand Sai expressed his gratitude for bringing everyone to Kodai, he recollected what Swami had said last year, ‘You are here not because of My will, but because of My mercy’, and this touched every beating heart. Laced with inadvertent humour, his talk sent ripples of laughter across the hall.

Thereafter, Swami called upon Bhupal Chidambhar, an alumnus from Alike and Muddenahalli Campus, and soon to be a student again, as with Swami’s blessings he would be joining the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence to undertake research. He spoke about his teachers and revered Sri Madiyal Narayan Bhat, who have been great inspirations to him. He submitted that these teachers have been more than his parents and was filled with gratitude to Swami for blessing him with such noble teachers.

Swami then called another alumnus, Victory Craxi to address the gathering. Victory who is currently an Ayurveda Doctor in Milan, was born in Swami’s Whitefield Hospital, and had studied for 12 years at Prasanthi Nilayam. An emotional Victory traced his journey from his birth with Swami, and broke down several times during his speech. It was endearing to watch Swami comforting Victory and wiping his tears away. 

Swami then briefly spoke about how the goal and purpose of life should be to reach God, though the paths may be different. Mangala Arati was offered, and Swami proceeded to dine with the guests, before retiring for the night.
