En un satsang celebrado en la divina presencia en California, EE. UU., el 16 de junio de 2016; un dirigente de un centro de California pregunta cuál debería ser la decisión, si se cede a la presión y se rinden, o si se debe servir con plena capacidad.
Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:
Pregunta: Swami, siendo un directivo de un Centro Sai, no es sólo por mí, me gustaría preguntar por todos aquí - cuál debería ser nuestra decisión? ¿Hay que ceder a las presiones y renunciar.? ¿O hay que seguir sirviendo con plena capacidad.?
Swami: Haga su deber como un individuo en primer lugar. Sigue a tu corazón, no al cuerpo, no la mente. Haz lo que dice tu corazón. Sigue lo que dice tu corazón y te beneficiará. No sigas tu mente; es la mente la que crea la confusión. Usted debe hacer lo que le ayuda a estar más cerca de Dios.
Esta congregación, centro, organización o institucion - todos estos son formas y medios para ayudarle a estar más cerca de Dios. Mientras se este sirviendo con el propósito de estar más cerca de Dios, debe seguirla. Si se está convirtiendo en un obstáculo en su movimiento hacia Dios, entonces, obviamente, tiene que decidir en consecuencia. Sin embargo, consulta a tu corazón; tu corazón es el único que cuenta.
Si siguen al corazón, ustedes estaran inmediatamente en paz y no habrá ninguna confusión. Si siguen la mente, un día se sentiran en paz y otro día se sentirán diferentes. Si siguen al corazón, sabrán inmediatamente qué es lo que necesitan; lo que te hará feliz y esa felicidad será permanente, no es algo que viene y va. Cada persona tiene que tomar la decisión por si misma. Del mismo modo que nadie puede comer por ti y nadie puede dormir por ti, nadie puede tomar la decisión por ustedes; Tienes que hacerlo si mismos. El camino que puede ser bueno para uno, puede no ser el más adecuado para otro, por lo que cada uno tiene que consultar a su propia conciencia y tomar su camino en consecuencia.

In a satsang held in the divine presence in California, USA, on 16 June 2016; the California center officer asks what should be one's direction, should one yield to pressure and quit, or should one serve with full capacity.
And here is what Swami said:
Question: Swami, being a Center Officer is just not for me, but I would like to ask for everyone here – what should our direction be? Should we yield to pressure and resign? Should we continue to serve in both capacities?
Swami: Do your duty as an individual first. Follow your heart, not the body, not the mind. Do what your heart says. Follow what your heart says and you will benefit. Don’t follow your mind; it is the mind which creates all the confusion. You must do whatever helps you become closer to God.
This congregation, or a center, an organisation or institutions – all these are ways and means to help you become closer to God. As long as it is serving the purpose of taking you closer, you must follow it. If it is becoming an obstruction in your movement towards God then, obviously, you have to decide accordingly. However, consult your heart; your heart is the one to tell you.
If you follow the heart, you will immediately be at peace and there will be no confusion. If you follow the mind, one day you will feel this way and on another day, you will feel differently. If you follow the heart, you will know immediately what it is you need; it will make you happy and it will be constant happiness, not something which comes and goes. Each person has to make the decision for him or herself. Just as no one can eat for you and nobody can sleep for you, nobody can make the decision for you; you have to do it yourself. The path that may be good for one, may not be the right one for another, so everyone has to consult their own conscience and take their path accordingly.
