Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

PREGUNTA: Swami, en la actualidad hay tres movimientos SAI distintos: Sai Shirdi Sai, Sai, Sai sookshma,

 y más allá de eso, algunos también están especulando sobre Prema Sai. Esto está causando cierta confusión entre los devotos, especialmente los que están en la periferia, y que no están seguros. Como devotos Sai, ¿cómo deberíamos responder a esta situación?

SWAMI: Hay muchos ríos que se desprenden de la cordillera del Himalaya, incluyendo el Ganges, el Yamuna y otros. Todos ellos pasan a través de diversos terrenos y llanuras del país. Que fluyen a través de las diferentes regiones, y en última instancia, todos ellos se funden en el mismo océano. Las personas que viven por el Ganges cantarán la gloria del Ganges por encima de cualquier otra cosa, porque el Ganges es el que les da agua para vivir y sobrevivir. Vayan por la unidad inherente y verán todo como uno. Esto no es el fin del mundo. Muchos yugas vendrán, muchos más maestros vendrán, muchas más filosofías vendrán. Y van a allanar el camino.

El que ve la unidad nunca sufrirá ningún dolor, ningún apego, ningún ego. El que no entiende la unidad, solo sufrirá. QUESTION: Swami, today there are three distinct Sai movements: Shirdi Sai, Sathya Sai, Sookshma Sai and, beyond that, some are also speculating on Prema Sai. This is causing some confusion among the devotees, especially those at the periphery that are not sure. As Sai devotees, how should we respond to this situation?

SWAMI: There are many rivers that emerge from the Himalayas, including the Ganges, the Yamuna and others. They all pass through various terrains and plains of the country. They flow through different regions and, ultimately, all of them merge into the same ocean. The people who live by the Ganges will sing the glory of the Ganges above anything else, because the Ganges is the one that gives them water to live and survive. The people who have been dwelling on the banks of the Yamuna and benefit by the Yamuna’s flow, will always pray and sing the glory of the River Yamuna. Those who are by the Godavari River will be fond of the Godavari; those who reside near the Krishna River will be benefited by the Krishna River. All these rivers flow in different areas, but they all carry the same water. To the thirsty, what matters is the water, not which river. When people drink the water, their thirst is quenched. Therefore, the rivers may be many, but the water in them is the same.

Why stop with those four? You can learn this from Krishna, Rama and from all religions, as all of them are like these rivers. If you are by the side of a particular river, which is the closest river to you, you can drink from it and benefit from it. As long as your thirst is quenched, it really does not matter. For the rivers, the flow may be different, but the water they carry is one and the same.

If someone is able to see the inherent unity in all the movements, not only here, but even in other places, in other religions and in other faiths, and someone can feel the inherent unity of the same divine principle of love and benefit from it, there definitely will not be any confusion. Confusion is for those who think the water they drink is superior than the water others drink. That is their limited understanding of nature. In every country, there are many ponds, pools, rivers and lakes – not just a single one. All of them do the same service – quenching the thirst of the thirsty.

Likewise, all the movements have only one goal: to help you grow towards your own Divinity, to fill your hearts with pure love and to be of service to your fellow being. If that is not happening, it is like sitting by the river and remaining thirsty. Drink from any river, as long as your thirst is quenched, and you will know the unity in the multiplicity. Therefore, it does not really matter. All movements, as long as they are God’s movements and not ‘ego movements’ are fine with Me. Drink from them, benefit from them. That is more important than fighting over the names and places of these rivers.

Go for the inherent unity and you will see everything as one. This is not the end of the world. Many yugas will come, many more masters will come, many more philosophies will come. They will go on paving the way. 

One who sees the unity will never suffer any sorrow, any attachment, any ego. One who does not understand unity, alone will suffer. Therefore, understand the underlying principle: are you benefiting, are you becoming pure, are you becoming closer to your Divine Self? If yes, drink from any river that is close to you; it does not matter.

In this issue, we bring you the report on the first part of Bhagawan's summer retreat at Kodaikanal from May 12 to May 22, 2017. Shawls or cameras, diaries or money for marketing (as He calls for shopping), His hands never cease to distribute tangible tokens of His love. So also on Mother's Day, after hosting a special lunch for all the mothers in the honour of motherhood, He distributed sarees to the mothers assembled. As He approached two sisters whom He lovingly calls as 'Shakini and Dakini - the demonesses who are personal servitors of Mother Durga', He realised that though He wanted to give the sarees of the same shade and design, He ended up giving them different ones! Our meticulous Swami who is perfection personified, made the seeming mistake not without a reason. In the evening, as both the sisters were wearing the sarees given by Swami, which were different, He came to them on His way to the dining hall and said, "Oh! I made a mistake by giving you different sarees, but not to worry. This mistake of mine is an opportunity for you, as I am going to give you two same sarees again. See, when I make a mistake it's an opportunity for you, similarly when you make a mistake it's an opportunity for Me! Man's adversity is God's opportunity!" He said it all so simply as He glided past to dine with His devotees, and we are still digesting this dinner delicacy, the profound message! KODAI SUMMER RETREAT - MAY 12, 2017 Yet again, it was that time of the year when the Lord takes a few chosen students, staff and guests to Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu, a tradition which started many decades ago, and continues till date. In the wee hours of the morning, Muddenahalli was a bee hive of activity, as everyone boarded with their bags and proceeded to the Bangalore Airport to catch their flight to Madurai. After lunch in Madurai, the entourage departed to Kodai. As everyone reached Ananda Ashram in the evening amidst showers,  a sense of peace and tranquility prevailed. Everyone was served some refreshments, before Swami came down to address everyone. He enquired if they were tired due the day long journey. Devotees replied they didn't feel the tiredness or the strain of travel. The Lord was pleased with the reply and said, "A monkey like Hanuman transcended his physical limitations in the presence of Rama. And so did Lakshmana, Sabari and even the Gopikas. Even the wet morning did not dampen the spirits of the students, both girls and boys, as they waited in anticipation along with the guests for the beautiful day to unfold. After breakfast, Swami came down around 9:30 a.m. to give away shawls to all the elders gathered, after which He proceeded to the inspect the new Bhajan Hall which was constructed in 51 days from scratch! The power of His Sankalpa, coupled with the untiring efforts of man, and the result is magical. Indeed, the Hall looked beautiful, and was decorated well, though some finishing touches and the final coat of painting had to be completed. Satisfied with the venue, Bhagawan commanded that all should gather by 11 a.m. for the Satsang at the new Hall. Quickly the entire set-up moved to the Hall, and the Lord arrived in all His grandeur to officially inaugurate the Bhajan Hall, which is an outcome of His supreme love and compassion. Last year, many devotees had arrived in Kodaikanal for Swami’s Darshan, but due to the lack of space, were unable to bask in His love. This deeply touched  the Lord’s heart and He had announced that within a year, a new Bhajan Hall will be constructed for Public.... As is the tradition with Kodai, a cultural programme is offered every evening at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet. The Veena Vahini team had arrived from Mumbai to present a bouquet of songs. Veena Vahini is beloved Bhagawan’s gift to humanity. Born on Guru Purnima 2016, it continues to spread the message of Love through Music with its thematic presentations, beautifully bringing out several facets of Music. In the year that just went by, Veena Vahini presented its unique, divinely designed thematic concerts in Mumbai, Shirdi, Kolkata and Karwar. Every music aspirant passes through six stages of life Araadhanam(Praying), Saadhanam (Practicing), Bhaavam (Purification), Dhyanam (Personification), Gyaanam (Preaching), and Saakshatkaaram (Propagation). Six songs, one on each of these stages were offered. A hub of activity from 6 a.m. as car loads of guests started arriving for the morning Satsang at Ananda Ashram. Ofcourse, breakfast was the first agenda, and delicious South Indian dishes made their way to hungry stomachs. When with Swami, then and now, food is given utmost priority, especially in Kodai. At around 10 a.m., after a few interviews, Swami commanded everyone to start moving to the Satsang Hall, as He entered in the midst of soul stirring Bhajans. It was Mothers Day, and everyone were filled with gratitude to be with their Divine Mother that day. Swami commanded Mrs Penny Jayewardene, daughter in law of late Sri Jayewardene, former President of Sri Lanka, to address everyone. She spoke of the war which went on for 30 years, and narrated how she and her husband decided to come to Parthi to see a God man, and pray that He blesses everyone. Mrs Penny confessed that she found God, and went on to speak about those early days with Bhagawan, and her many trips to India to have His Darshan. She also spoke about the various activities of the Sri Sathya Sai Karuna Nilayam Foundation, and the upcoming Hospital which will start.... Swami came down after granting some interviews, and walked around blessing everyone and giving sarees to all the ladies. It is so amazing to see the Lord when it comes to sarees, then and now, as like an excited child He goes around handing them with love to all. Mr Dimitris Lambrianos, the extraordinary musician who can play over 30 instruments offered a instrumental rendition on the piano at the divine Lotus Feet. It almost seemed like a mini world music festival, as after a couple of Bhajans, Swami commanded him to play a song from countries like France, Italy, Greece, America and even an Arabic song. And Mr Dimitris played with ease and an enchanting finesse, as his fingers glided elegantly and effortlessly across the 88 keys of the piano. It was a sight to watch the interaction between the Lord and His dear devotee. Swami also commanded Mr Dimitris to speak about how he came to Swami in the subtle, when he started seeing and speaking to Swami in New York in the year 2012, just like Brother Madhusudan. It was a blissful 40 minutes, as everyone gathered were transported to a different plane. Swami said, “He is not a musician, but a magician!” Swami thereafter commanded two girl students to speak. It has been three blissful days at Kodai, with every day bringing a new meaning and dimension to our sweet relationship with our Lord. After a few interviews, Swami proceeded to the Public Satsang hall, and after a few Bhajans, Mangala Arati was offered. As the students and guests proceeded to board the buses for sight seeing, Swami went back inside the bungalow to speak to the first batch of Sevadals who were leaving. Swami showered them with His advise and said, “The supreme Dharma of every being is Love. Do everything that you do with love. Without love, there is no Dharma. Some people have the doubt, ‘How can we serve all the time?’, especially those who have a full-time job. Work is worship, and salary is God’s gift to you, a compensation for your service. It is only His grace and gift to you. Your thought should be, ‘How is God serving? Am I serving like that? How is God loving? Am I loving like that?’ Whatever you deserve will come to you sooner or later. You have embarked on a noble path.” After blessing them with gifts and Prasadam, Swami proceeded to His room, and granted a few interviews before lunch.
