RETIRO DIVINO - kodaikanal - 10 de Mayo de 2019.

El personal, los estudiantes y los devotos se despertaron con una ligera llovizna y un frío sorbo en el aire. Contando su fortuna, y agradeciendo a su Señor por esta oportunidad única de estar con Él, y observarlo en Su patio de recreo Kodaikanal, todos se dirigieron a la Sala de Oración poco después del desayuno. ¡Felicitaciones al equipo de cocina que trabaja incansablemente día y noche, ya que reparten artículos suntuosos cuatro veces al día! De hecho, el retiro de Kodai es verdaderamente un placer en todos los sentidos.

Después de los Bhajans, el Sr. Isaac Tigrett fue el primer orador de la mañana. Recordó la primera sesión de Kodai en 2014 con Swami en lo sutil, y cómo había transcrito esas preciosas charlas que se hicieron virales en línea. ¡Y por primera vez, los devotos de todo el mundo tomaron nota del fenómeno de la forma sutil, cuando Swami explicó en detalle sobre las formas de Sthoola, Sookshma, Athi Sookshma y Para Sookshma! 

A partir de entonces, Sri T B Jayachandra subió al podio y habló directamente desde su corazón. Confesó su ignorancia sobre Sai cuando fue invitado por primera vez a asistir a un evento en Muddenahalli. ¡El ex ministro trazó su viaje desde entonces hasta esta misma fecha, y expresó con profunda emoción que estaba en la presencia misma de lo Divino! Agradeció a Swami por todas las maravillosas experiencias, incluida la recuperación milagrosa de su esposa, que hizo que la pareja comprendiera que tenían la suerte de estar envueltas en la gracia divina de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Antes de concluir, le rogó a Swami que bendijera al país con agua potable, ya que en la próxima década, la India enfrentaría una grave escasez de agua. 

Sri Jayachandra declaró enfáticamente que solo Swami puede ejecutar proyectos de tal magnitud, ¡ya que Él es el planificador maestro y exactamente sabría cómo planificar, iniciar y ejecutar con precisión!

Swami pronunció su mensaje divino y anunció que iniciará un proyecto de agua hacia finales de año, poco después de Dussehra. Dijo: “El corazón de alguien debe derretirse ante la difícil situación y el dolor de la gente. Alguien debería llorar y derramar una lágrima para eliminar el sufrimiento de las otras personas. Y cuando un corazón así sangra por el sufrimiento de los demás y ora al Señor en busca de ayuda, respondo muy rápidamente, las oraciones que son desinteresadas. Entonces esta es una oración desinteresada, así que será contestada.

No tengo ningún otro deseo. Nadie debería tener penas. Esta es mi visión y sentimiento por el mundo. ¡Pero necesito buenos instrumentos, instrumentos desinteresados, instrumentos valerosos, que se levanten y hagan lo que Baba quiere! De lo contrario, todos estos seguirán siendo Sankalpa. Solo Shiva, no pudo haber traído a Ganga. Solo Bhagiratha no pudo tener a Ganga. Cuando Shiva y Bhagiratha se reunieron, el Señor y el devoto, las cosas sucedieron. Así es como esto también sucederá. Estoy preparando Mis instrumentos lenta y constantemente, uno por uno. A medida que se preparen, mis proyectos empezarán a suceder. Mis proyectos pueden suceder mucho más rápido, mucho antes; y la razón de la desaceleración se debe a los instrumentos. ¡Si pudieras prepararte más rápido, mi trabajo pasará más rápido! "

Después del mangala arati, Swami procedió de vuelta al bungalow, y recibió a unos pocos devotos antes de participar en su almuerzo y retirarse por la tarde.

Todos se reunieron en el acogedor Bungalow, esperando ansiosamente al Señor por la noche. Los Bhajans melodiosos estaban en progreso, y el despliegue empezó llegó cuando la puerta se abrió. El hermano Madhusudan emergió luciendo resplandeciente en un Kurta ocre, con una refulgencia divina que brotaba de su rostro. Swami ha estado diciendo: "No hay dos, solo uno", ¡y esto se está haciendo cada vez más evidente!

Fue un comienzo divertido para la noche, cuando Swami comenzó a preguntar el nombre y el significado de algunos de los que estaban sentados a su alrededor. Por supuesto, había algunos nombres que no necesariamente tenían un significado. Swami luego habló sobre el poder de un nombre. "El Señor aparece tan pronto como se llama por el nombre, y así, al nombrar a un niño, los padres deben asegurarse de que el nombre tenga un significado profundo". Swami luego habló sobre la importancia de nombrar a un niño correctamente y se lamentó sobre la tendencia actual de nombrar Bebés sin ningún significado. Swami reiteró que debido a la virtud de un nombre, ¡uno puede convertirse en una buena persona!

El Mangala Arati se le ofreció y después de algunas entrevistas y de la cena, Swami se retiró a dormir.

Divine Retreat - Kodaikanal - May 10, 2019.

Staff, students and devotees woke up to some light drizzle and a cold nip in the air. Counting their fortune, and thanking their Lord for this unique opportunity to be with Him, and observe Him in His playground Kodaikanal, everyone proceeded to the Prayer Hall soon after breakfast. Kudos to the kitchen team who work tirelessly day and night, as they dish out sumptuous items four times a day! Indeed, the Kodai retreat is truly a treat in every way! 

After Bhajans, Mr Isaac Tigrett was the first speaker of the morning. He reminisced the very first Kodai session in 2014 with Swami in the subtle, and how he had transcribed those precious talks which went viral online. And for the very first time devotees around the world took note of the phenomenon of the subtle form, as Swami explained in detail about the Sthoola, Sookshma, Athi Sookshma and Para Sookshma forms! Thereafter, Sri T B Jayachandra took to the podium and spoke straight from his heart. He confessed about his ignorance about Sai when he was invited for the very first time to attend an event at Muddenahalli. The former Minister traced his journey from then until this very date, and submitted with deep emotion that he was in the very presence of the Divine! He thanked Swami for all the wonderful experiences, including the miraculous recovery of his wife, which made the couple understand that they were fortunate to be enveloped in the divine grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Before he concluded, he prayed to Swami to bless the country with potable drinking water, as in the next decade or so, India would face an acute water shortage. Sri Jayachandra emphatically declared that only Swami can execute projects of such magnitude, as He is the master planner and would exactly know how to plan, initiate and execute with precision!

Swami delivered His divine message and announced that He will initiate a water project towards the end of the year, soon after Dussehra. He said, “Somebody's heart should melt at the plight and pain of the people. Somebody should cry and shed a tear to remove the suffering of the other people. And when such a heart bleeds for the suffering of others and prays to the Lord for help, I answer very swiftly, prayers which are selfless. So this is a selfless prayer, so it shall be answered. 

I don't have any other desire. Nobody should have any sorrows. This is My vision and feeling for the world. But I need good instruments, selfless instruments, courageous instruments, who will get up and do what Baba wants! Otherwise, all these will remain Sankalpa. Only Shiva, could not have brought Ganga. Only Bhagiratha could not have got Ganga. When Shiva and Bhagiratha both met together, the Lord and the devotee, things happened. So that is how this also will happen. I am preparing My instruments slowly and steadily, one by one. As and when they get ready, My projects will start happening. My projects can happen much faster, much earlier; and the reason for the slow down are because of the instruments. If you could get ready faster, My work will happen faster!”

After Mangala Arati, Swami proceeded back to the Bungalow, and met a few devotees before partaking His lunch and retiring for the afternoon. 

Everyone gathered in the cozy Bungalow, eagerly awaiting for the Lord in the evening. Melodious Bhajans were in progress, and the movement arrived when the door opened. Brother Madhusudan emerged looking resplendent in an ochre Kurta, with a divine effulgence exuding from his face. Swami has been saying, “There is no two, only one”, and this is becoming more and more evident!

It was a fun start to the evening, when Swami started asking the name and meaning of some of those who were seated around Him. Of course there were a few names which did not necessarily have a meaning. Swami then spoke about the power of a name. “The Lord appears as soon as the name is called, and so while naming a child, parents must ensure the name has a deep meaning.” Swami then spoke about the significance of naming a child correctly, and lamented about the current trend of naming babies without any meaning. Swami reiterated that because of the virtue of a name, one can become a good person! 

Mangala Arati was offered and after a few interviews and dinner, Swami retired for the night.

Una mañana soleada, risas emocionadas, un desayuno suntuoso y el entusiasmo de estar en presencia de Swami se sintió entre cada persona presente en la primera mañana del retiro de Kodai de 2019 en el Sri Sathya Sai Anand Ashram. 

Swami emergió alrededor de las 10 a.m., y caminó hacia la Sala de Oración que reverberó con melodiosos Bhajans. Después de unos cuantos Bhajans más, Sri B N Narasimha Murthy dio la bienvenida a todos los que se habían reunido de tantos países. Continuó hablando sobre cómo tuvo lugar el primer retiro en Kodaikanal en el año 2014, con un puñado de estudiantes, personal y devotos. También relató los eventos que ocurrieron que llevaron al establecimiento de Sri Sathya Sai Anand Ashram, el Bungalow Hilltop en Kodaikanal.

Swami llamó al hermano Vijay Sai para hablar a todos, narró varios casos de humor de Swami y comportamiento infantil. Su discurso como siempre fue mezclado con humor, y de hecho fue un maravilloso comienzo para el retiro de kodai, ya que todo el mundo recordó los buenos viejos días cuando Swami estaba en su cuerpo físico, y traía a sus estudiantes y personal a kodaikanal cada año.

Swami luego pronunció su discurso diciendo: “Todos nosotros no estamos aquí por lo que somos hoy, o por la relación que tenemos hoy entre nosotros. Estamos aquí porque hemos estado juntos por muchos muchos nacimientos. Ustedes no lo saben, pero Yo lo sé. Entonces cuando te miro, no te veo como lo que eres hoy. Puedes ser un niño o una niña o un hombre joven o viejo, delgado o gordo. ¡Te conozco por muchos nacimientos y es por eso que estamos aquí una y otra vez y otra vez para pasar el tiempo con los demás! ”Continuó hablando sobre las cuatro etapas de convertirse en Dios: Salokyam, Sameepyam, Sarupyam, Sayujyam.

Swami dijo: “Vinieron como estudiantes, devotos, o por cualquier capacidad, se unieron a esta Institución y esta asociación. Esta es la primera etapa. La segunda etapa es acercarse más a Dios y volverse más querido para Dios. ¿Cómo te vuelves más querido, más cercano? Haz cosas que a Dios le gustan. Di la verdad. No lastimes a nadie. Se amable. Sirve a todos. Se disciplinado. Ama a todos. De esa cercanía, viene la semejanza a Dios. Te vuelves como Dios. 

La gente dirá: 'Te veo, veo a Swami en ti porque eres tan compasivo, eres tan amable, tan amoroso. Verdaderamente no son solo estudiantes y devotos. Eres Swami personificado en estas formas ". Este es el tipo de sentimiento que los demás tienen cuando te ven. Y finalmente, un día llega cuando no hay diferencia entre tú y Swami, te vuelves uno con Dios porque has estado viviendo continuamente en ese pensamiento de Dios. 

Así que creo oportunidades para que vengas para que puedas entender qué es Dios, su amor y compasión, lo que Él espera de nosotros, cómo acercarnos a Dios, y en última instancia, cómo llegar a ser Dios mismo. ¡Puedes convertirte en Dios viviendo constantemente en ese pensamiento de Dios!

El Mangala Arati se le ofreció a Swami, y posteriormente, procedió a compartir su almuerzo con todos los invitados.

Por la noche, los devotos invitados junto con el personal y los estudiantes esperaban ansiosamente la llegada de Swami. Poco después de las 5 de la tarde, Swami bajó las escaleras del Bungalow hasta la sala de estar, donde se habían reunido cerca de 150 empleados, estudiantes e invitados de la India y de todo el mundo. 

Después de unos pocos Bhajans, Swami habló acerca de cómo, cuando se canta el nombre, la forma misma se manifiesta. “Cualquiera que sea el nombre que cantes, Dios tomará esa forma y vendrá, así es como se conectan el nombre y la forma. Cada nombre tiene una forma y cada forma tiene un nombre. Entonces, cuando Dios, que no tiene nombre y sin forma, decide tomar una forma, Él también toma un nombre, y cuando Él decide tomar un nombre, Él también toma una forma. 

Krishna estaba siendo pesado en la balanza con oro, entonces las esposas decidieron que ya que era el cumpleaños de Krishna, deberían entregar tanto oro como pesaba Krishna. Las esposas pobres pensaron que, dado que Krishna no era demasiado pesado, no pesaría mucho, y por lo tanto, se habían decidido por el oro. 

Era su ego el que había dado lugar a tal pensamiento. Pero, ¿puede el oro igualar el valor de Krishna y su idea de dar la misma cantidad de oro en caridad en su cumpleaños? Así que con Krishna en un lado y oro en el otro lado, continuaron agregando más oro, ¡pero la balanza ni siquiera se movió! Cuánto mas oro se ponia, Krishna no se levantaba en absoluto. Finalmente, las esposas tuvieron que quitarse sus joyas! Tanto Rukmini como Satyabhama se miraron a los ojos y se dieron cuenta de su error. ¿Qué puede ser igual a Krishna? ¿Puede el oro igualar a Krishna? ¿Pueden todas las riquezas del mundo igualar a Krishna? ¿Pueden todas las cosas que obtienes en el mundo incluso ser iguales a Él? ¡Krishna solo es igual a Krishna! ¿Qué más puede ser igual a Dios? ¡Solo Dios es igual a Dios! 

Luego, Rukmini tomó una pequeña hoja de Tulsi y sacó su pinza para el cabello y escribió "Krishna" en ella y la puso en la balanza. ¡Inmediatamente se igualaron las pesas! Krishna es igual a Krishna. ¡El nombre de Krishna en sí mismo es igual a la forma de Krishna!

Swami luego llamó a un estudiante de sexto grado Vinod Salunke de Karwar para hablar. ¡La claridad en el discurso del niño fue por excelencia! A una edad tan tierna, ¡tenía el entendimiento acerca del Señor y sus magnánimas formas! El estudiante citó a John F. Kennedy y recordó lo que dijo: 'No debemos decir lo que Estados Unidos ha hecho por nosotros, sino preguntar qué tenemos que hacer por Estados Unidos'. El niño continuó diciendo a todos los reunidos que uno no debería pedir a Swami por cualquier cosa, más bien, ¡la pregunta debería ser qué puede hacer cada uno por Swami! Dijo que muchos hablan sobre el brillo en la cara de los estudiantes que estudian en las instituciones de Swami. Y le rogó desinteresadamente a Swami para que estableciera instituciones en todo el mundo, para que todos los niños del planeta Tierra puedan tener el mismo brillo divino en su rostro.

Swami sonrió con orgullo al escuchar el discurso de este niño. Luego llamó a un estudiante de Pre Universidad Yuva Supreet Reddy para dirigirse a la reunión. Estaba emocionalmente estrangulado y todo lo que podía decir era que aunque sus padres viven en Dubai, y no ha podido verlos en los últimos tres años, ¡su amada Madre Sai es su todo! Le ofreció su profundo agradecimiento y amor a Swami por darle esta oportunidad única.

Swami le pidió a Sri PDN Srinivasu, Vicerrector de la Universidad Sri Sathya Sai para la Excelencia Humana, que hablara sobre los diversos cursos e instalaciones que ofrece la Universidad.

Divine Retreat - Kodaikanal - May 9, 2019.

A sunny morning, excited laughters, sumptuous breakfast, and the eagerness to be in Swami’s presence was felt amongst every single person present on the first morning of the 2019 Kodai Retreat at the Sri Sathya Sai Anand Ashram. Swami emerged at around 10 a.m., and walked down towards the Prayer Hall which reverberated with melodious Bhajans. After a few more Bhajans, Sri B N Narasimha Murthy welcomed everyone who had gathered from so many countries. He went on to talk about how the very first retreat at Kodaikanal took place in the year 2014, with a handful of students, staff and devotees. He also recounted the events that had occurred which led to the establishment of Sri Sathya Sai Anand Ashram, the Hilltop Bungalow in Kodaikanal.

Swami beckoned Brother Vijay Sai to speak to everyone, who narrated various instances of Swami’s humour and childlike demeanour. His speech as always was laced with humour, and indeed a wonderful start to the Kodai Retreat, as everyone reminisced the good old days when Swami was in His physical frame, and would bring His students and staff to Kodaikanal every year.

Swami then delivered His discourse by saying, “All of us are here not because of what we are today, or because of the relation that we have today with each other. We are here because we have been with each other for many many births. You do not know about it but I know about it. So when I look at you, I don't look at you as what you are today. You may be a boy or a girl or a young or old, thin or a fat man. I know you from many many births and that is why we are here again and again and again to spend time with each other!” He went on speak about the four stages of becoming God - Salokyam, Sameepyam, Sarupyam, Sayujyam.

Swami said, “You came as students, devotees, or in whichever capacity, you joined this Institution and this association. This is the first stage. Second stage is to come closer to God, and become dearer to God. How do you become dearer, nearer? Do things that God likes. Speak the truth. Don't hurt anyone. Be kind. Serve everybody. Be disciplined. Love everyone. From that closeness, comes the likeness to God. You become like God. People will say, ‘I see you, I see Swami in you because you are so compassionate, you are so kind, you are so loving. Truly you are not just students and devotees. You are Swami personified in these forms.’ This is the kind of feeling others get when they see you. And ultimately a day comes when there is no difference between you and Swami, you become one with God because you have been continuously living in that thought of God. So I create opportunities for you to come so that you can understand what is God, His love and compassion, what He expect from us, how to become close to God, and ultimately how to become God Himself. You can become God by constantly living in that thought of God!”

Mangala Arati was offered to Swami, and thereafter He proceeded to partake His lunch with all the guests.

In the evening, invited devotees along staff and students eagerly waited for Swami’s arrival. A little after 5 p.m., Swami came down the staircase of the Bungalow to the living room where close to 150 staff, students and guests from India and around the world had gathered. After a few Bhajans, Swami spoke about how when the name is sung, the very form manifests. “Whatever name you sing, God will take that form and come, that is how the name and form are connected. Every name has a form and every form has a name. So when God who is nameless and formless decides to take a form, He also takes a name, and when He decides to take a name He also takes a form. Krishna was being weighed on the balance with gold, so the wives decided that since it was Krishna's birthday, they should give out as much gold as Krishna weighed. The poor wives thought that since Krishna was not too heavy, he would not weigh much, and hence had decided on gold. It was their ego which had given rise to such a thought. But can gold ever match Krishna's value and their thought of giving the equal quantity of gold in charity on His birthday? So with Krishna on one side and gold on other side, they continued adding more gold, but the balance did not even budge! How much ever gold was put, Krishna was not getting lifted at all. Finally, the wives had to remove their jewellery! Both Rukmini and Satyabhama looked at each other’s face and realised their mistake. What can be equal to Krishna? Can gold ever match Krishna? Can all the wealth of the world ever match Krishna? Can all the things that you get in the world even equal Him? Krishna alone is equal to Krishna! What else can be equal to God? God alone is equal to God! Then, Rukmini took a small Tulsi leaf and took out her hair pin and wrote ‘Krishna’ on it and put it on the balance. Immediately it weighed equal! Krishna is equal to Krishna. Krishna's name itself is equal to Krishna's form!”

Swami then beckoned a grade six student Vinod Salunke from the Karwar to speak. The clarity of though in the child’s speech was par excellence! At such a tender age, he had the understanding about the Lord, and His magnanimous ways! The student quoted John F. Kennedy and reminisced what he told, ‘We should not say what America has done for us, rather ask what we have to do for America.’ The boy went on to submit to everyone gathered that one should not ask Swami for anything, rather the question should be what each one can do for Swami! He said that many talk about the glow on the face of students studying in Swami’s institutions. He prayed selflessly to Swami that He should institutions around the world, so every child on planet earth can have the same divine glow on their face!

Swami beamed with pride listening to this child’s speech. He then called upon a Pre University student Yuva Supreet Reddy to address the gathering. He was emotionally choked and all that he could say was that though his parents live in Dubai, and he has not been able to see them for the last three years, his beloved Mother Sai is his everything! He offered his deep gratitude and love to Swami for giving him this unique opportunity.

Swami then asked Sri PDN Srinivasu, the Vice Chancellor of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence to talk about the various courses and facilities offered by the University. Thereafter, Swami spoke about the wonderful Seva done by the 14 families of Singapore. He then called Ryan Tan, a spirited youth from Singapore to address the gathering. After his soul stirring speech, Swami commented about how youths like Ryan live outside the country, but have their minds fixed on God!

Mangala Arati was offered to Bhagawan, and after dinner Prasadam, He retired for the night.

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, venerado por millones como un Avatar con todos los dieciséis atributos, continúa guiando y protegiendo con compasión desde el reino sutil, incluso después de abandonar Su cuerpo físico. Ningún Avatar o Maestro en la historia humana registrada ha hecho esto puramente con el propósito de la transformación humana, aunque hay ejemplos de visiones y apariencias de unos pocos elegidos. 

Y cuando decide derramar Su gracia benigna en unos pocos elegidos para acompañarlo a las colinas de Kodaikanal para un retiro divino, ¡la fortuna parece ser completamente abrumadora! De hecho, cuando Swami estaba regalando maletas llenas de golosinas a los estudiantes y al personal que viajaban por primera vez a Kodaikanal en la víspera de la partida, dijo: "Premamrutham es como el salón de Darshan, es como el recinto del templo. Entras en el recinto del templo, pero no hay garantía de que veas a Dios, ya que hay demasiada gente dentro.

Luego te acercas un poco más a Anandam, es como el santuario interior, ya que has entrado en el templo ahora. Y cuando vienes a Kodaikanal, es como el Garbhagudi, has entrado en el sanctum sanctorum; Muy muy cerca de Dios para ver lo que Dios hace, cómo es Dios, cuáles son sus pensamientos, cómo se comporta y qué le gusta. Llegas a conocer estas cosas para que también puedas seguir esto en tu vida hasta que te conviertas en Dios mismo. ¡Así que la meta de la vida es llegar a ser Dios, no volverse como Dios!

En la madrugada del 8 de mayo de 2019, los devotos partieron al aeropuerto de Bangalore para tomar su vuelo a Madurai. Las estudiantes y el personal de las niñas ya habían salido en autobús para llegar a Madurai temprano en la mañana. La parada en Madurai durante unas pocas horas por Swami esa mañana, fue el comienzo de un nuevo capítulo para cientos de miles de niñas en esa zona de Dindigul, ya que el omnisciente Señor había querido establecer un nuevo campus para niñas en Bathlagundu. Sri Sathya Sai Meenakshiniketanam, bautizado apropiadamente, Swami reveló que fue la Madre Meenakshi la que quiso que este Campus nutra el cuerpo, la mente y el alma de las niñas de las tribus, y que las libere de las garras de desafíos sociales como el matrimonio infantil. ¡Así que, naturalmente, la Madre Meenakshi sería la cuidadora de este Campus!

Swami también partió temprano en la mañana y aterrizó en el aeropuerto de Madurai. Procedió directamente al templo de Meenakshi Amman, antes de dirigirse al sitio de Bhoomi Puja, que estaba a poco más de una hora hacia las colinas de Kodai. Después de ofrecer oraciones, Swami junto con Sri Kamalakannan, Ministro de Educación - Pondicherry, Sri T. B Jayachandra, Ex Ministro de Ley y Asuntos Parlamentarios - Gobierno de Karnataka, Sri Gandhirajan, Ex Presidente Adjunto y otros dignatarios partieron para la auspiciosa ceremonia de Bhoomi Puja. La tierra está escondida bellamente en medio de cientos de árboles de coco. A partir de entonces, Swami junto con los dignatarios se dirigieron al lugar del evento formal, un salón comunitario que se encontraba a unos 10 minutos del lugar.

Swami fue recibido en medio de los Bhajans, y Sri T B Jayachandra fue el primer orador de la función. "Nara Seva es Narayana Seva. y Jana Seva es Janardana Seva. 'Swami concluyó su discurso invitando a todos a la inauguración del Campus el próximo año en mayo.

Después de Mangala Arati, Swami cenó con todos los estudiantes y devotos, y luego siguió a Kodaikanal un poco después de las 3 p.m. El Señor llegó al Sri Sathya Sai Anand Ashram alrededor de las 5:30 p.m. y fue recibido por todos los Sevadals que habían llegado un par de días antes para hacer todos los arreglos. Divine Retreat - Madurai and Kodaikanal - May 8, 2019.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, venerated by millions as an Avatar with all the sixteen attributes, compassionately continues to guide and guard from the subtle realm, even after giving up His physical frame. No Avatar or Master in recorded human history has done this purely for the purpose of human transformation, albeit instances of visions and appearances to a chosen few. And when He decides to shower His benign grace on a chosen few to accompany Him to the hills of Kodaikanal for a divine retreat, the fortune seems to be completely overwhelming! In fact, when Swami was giving away suitcases packed with goodies to students and staff who were travelling for the first time to Kodaikanal on the eve of departure, He said, “Premamrutham is like the Darshan hall, it is like the temple compound. You enter the temple compound but there is no guarantee you will see the God, as there is too much crowd inside. Then you come a little more closer, to Anandam, it is like the inner sanctum as you have come inside the temple now. When you come to Kodaikanal, it is like the Garbhagudi, you have entered the sanctum sanctorum; very very close to God to see what God does, how God is, what are His thoughts, how He behaves, and what He likes! You get to know these things so that you can also follow this in your life till you become God Himself. So the goal of life is to become God, not become like God!”

In the wee hours on the morning of May 8, 2019, devotees departed to the Bangalore Airport to catch their flight to Madurai. Girls students and staff had already departed by bus to reach Madurai early morning. The stop over at Madurai for a few hours by Swami that morning, was the beginning of a new chapter for hundreds of thousands of girls in that area of Dindigul, for the omniscient Lord had willed the establishment of a new girls Campus at Bathlagundu! Aptly christened, Sri Sathya Sai Meenakshiniketanam, Swami revealed that it was Mother Meenakshi who wanted this Campus to nurture the body, mind and soul of tribal girls, and to free them from the clutches of social challenges like child marriage! So, naturally Mother Meenakshi would be the caretaker of this Campus!

Swami also departed early morning and landed at the Madurai Airport. He proceeded straight to the Meenakshi Amman temple, before proceeding to the Bhoomi Puja site, which was a little over an hour away towards the Kodai hills. After offering prayers, Swami along with Sri Kamalakannan, Minister of Education - Pondicherry, Sri T B Jayachandra, Former Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs - Govt of Karnataka, Sri Gandhirajan, Former Deputy Speaker, and other dignitaries departed for the auspicious Bhoomi Puja ceremony. The land is tucked away beautifully amidst hundreds of coconut trees. Thereafter, Swami along with the dignitaries proceeded to the venue of the formal event, a community hall which was about 10 minutes away from the site.

Swami was welcomed amidst Bhajans, and Sri T B Jayachandra was the first speaker of the function. He spoke about Swami’s miracles of service activities that are underway, and expressed his gratitude for the establishment of yet another Campus, which would give a new life to many girls in that area. Sri Kamalakannan was the next speaker, who submitted that it is only Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba who can initiate such projects. He went on to speak about the Annapoorna breakfast Seva project specifically in Pondicherry and how the concentration of children in the classrooms have improved, as they are now recipients of the first meal of the day, thanks to Bhagawan’s love as food! Bhagawan delivered His divine discourse, after Sri B N Narasimha Murthy spoke about the upcoming Campus. Swami explained the reason as to why He was establishing an Institution in the area, mainly to support the helpless people who have no one else to go to. He praised the devotees of Dindigul for having made such excellent arrangements, and bestowed upon them His blessings and strength to build the new Campus. Swami announced that every girl who would be studying in the Campus would verily be a Goddess herself, and urged all the devotees to definitely engage in selfless Seva in the Campus with the feeling that they are serving God in man, ‘ Nara Seva is Narayana Seva and Jana Seva is Janardana Seva.’ Swami concluded His discourse by inviting everyone for the inauguration of the Campus next year in May!

After Mangala Arati, Swami dined with all the students and devotees, and thereafter proceeded to Kodaikanal a little after 3 p.m. The Lord reached the Sri Sathya Sai Anand Ashram around 5:30 p.m. and was welcomed by all the Sevadals who had reached a couple of days earlier to make all the arrangements. Swami walked around the Bungalow, blessed everyone, and retired for the night.
