Estoy tan abrumada de ver cómo Swami ha enseñado tantas lecciones de manera tan simple y casual. Para aprender algo en una escuela, tenemos que ir al salón de clases, asistir a clases a ciertas horas, usar el uniforme y leer ciertas materias usando ciertos libros y ciertos maestros. Todo está tan programado, en cierto modo regimental.
Con Swami; ¡El aprendizaje ocurre en cualquier lugar, en cualquier momento y de cualquier manera!
Ahí es donde Swami es un Maestro que se distingue de todos los demás Gurús y Maestros. Mientras camina, habla, se mueve solo interactuando, y Él puede enseñar algunas de las mejores lecciones de la vida, todo como un juego de niños, de una manera divertida. Esa es la belleza de Swami y cómo Él nos enseña.
Es posible que hayas visto el hermoso programa de la Banda musical presentado por los estudiantes; Definitivamente a la par con algunas de esas sinfonías muy profesionales del mundo. Es posible que no hayan tocado la música con esa perfección que probablemente los profesionales puedan tocar. Pero el alma de la música definitivamente no pasó desapercibida para el Comisionado Nacional de los Scouts y Guías Bharat.
Cuando Swami se levantó de la silla y se dirigía hacia el escenario para bendecir a estos niños, obviamente, Swami estaba muy orgulloso.
Él ya es una madre orgullosa y cuando los niños hacen algo como esto, ¡Su pecho se expande! Porque consideró que estos niños han mantenido su nombre frente a un grupo nacional tan enorme. Las personas asociadas con los Scouts y Guías de Bharat se adelantaron y casi detuvieron a Swami en la pista y dijeron: "Nunca habíamos visto un programa como este presentado por niños tan pequeños. Hemos escuchado a profesionales tocar en todo el mundo, en el Salon Royal Albert o en el Salon Athens Concert, o en muchos de estos lugares. Pero algo así, tan conmovedor, no lo hemos visto antes ".
Swami tuvo que responder a esta apreciación. Él podría haber dicho que Mis hijos son siempre los mejores. Pero quería decirlo de una manera más agradable. Él dijo,
" En otros lugares, puede haber belleza, disciplina, podría haber dedicación, pero aquí hay devoción que conlleva todas las otras cosas!"
Los exploradores y guías de Bharat son el deber, la disciplina y la dedicación. Pero Swami dijo que todo esto no funciona sin que la devoción sea el trasfondo. Y luego dio el ejemplo.
"Las luces están encendidas, los ventiladores están funcionando. Todo está sucediendo porque hay una corriente eléctrica que fluye a través de todos ellos. Si apagas la corriente, los ventiladores se detendrían y las luces no se encenderán. Todo lo demás que depende de la corriente no funcionará. Del mismo modo, la devoción es lo que hace que el deber, la dedicación y la disciplina se realicen. Sin devoción, todo esto no funcionará ".
Qué lección tremenda y profunda para el Comisionado Nacional de Scouts y Guías de Bharat. Me pregunto si alguien más le ha dicho alguna vez que inculcar devoción, el amor a Dios en los estudiantes, los hará mucho más disciplinados, mucho más dedicados y ellos serán mucho mejores como seres humanos también.
Efectivamente se me ocurrió, lo que hace que este lugar funcione. Lo que hace que estos maravillosos proyectos pasen; día tras día, cientos de miles de personas se unieron cada año, que pasa como personal y colegas. Y miles de devotos que se agolpan en la parte posterior de un lugar más allá llamado Muddenahalli.
¿Qué hace que todo esto suceda? ¿Es la eficiencia de las personas, la profesionalismo aquí? Le preguntas a nuestros colegas y a todos les resultará muy difícil responder a esto. Ninguno de nosotros somos profesionales de la construcción, ninguno de nosotros somos educadores profesionales; ¡Ninguno de nosotros somos líderes espirituales profesionales! Solo somos seres humanos ordinarios. Pero Él hace que cosas extraordinarias pasen a través de personas muy comunes. No es nuestro profesionalismo, no es nuestro sentido del deber; No es nuestro sentido de dedicación o disciplina. Pero mucho más profundo que eso, la devoción a Swami es lo que hace que sucedan todas las cosas imposibles. Cada vez que interpretan el tema "Misión Imposible", Swami sigue bromeando y dice: "Este tema es "Misión Soy Posible", porque lo hago posible".
Para una persona externa, si usted dice que 19 nuevas instituciones educativas han aparecido literalmente de la nada y 14 de ellas están pobladas, los niños ya están estudiando allí y algunos de ellos ya se han graduado hasta el nivel universitario y hay una Universidad que surgió en ocho o nueve meses, y luego tienes dos hospitales que funcionan a pleno rendimiento y otros dos en construcción.
Para un forastero, ¡es Misión Imposible! Lo que hace que esta Misión Imposible se convierta en Posible es definitivamente la presencia de Swami, que hace que las cosas sucedan, pero no me equivocaría si lo dijera, también es el tipo de devoción que las personas tienen por Swami y quieren hacer que su voluntad suceda.
Entonces, todos somos como los buscadores de Dios. Si Él dice, consíguelo, vamos hasta el final y lo conseguimos y no regresamos hasta que lo obtengamos.
Ese es el espíritu de Hanuman. Cuando Rama dijo, entregue este anillo a la Madre Sita al otro lado del océano; no se hicieron preguntas, ni argumentos, ni debates, ni discusiones. "Si lo has querido, ocurrirá".
Y luego el resto, como dicen, es historia. Veo que esa es la razón por la que ocurren tantas cosas maravillosas en este lugar.

“Swami makes extraordinary things happen through very ordinary people. It is not our professionalism. Devotion to Swami is what makes all the impossible things happen.”
I am so overwhelmed to see how Swami has taught so many lessons in such simple and casual ways. To learn something in a school, we have to go to the classroom, attend classes at certain hours, wear the uniform and read certain subjects using certain books and certain teachers. Everything is so scheduled, in a way regimental. With Swami; learning happens anywhere, anytime in any which ways! That is where Swami is a Master who stands apart from all other Gurus and Masters. While walking, talking, moving around just interacting, He can teach some of the greatest lessons of life, all as a child’s play, in a fun way. That’s the beauty of Swami and how He teaches us.
You may have seen the beautiful band programme put up by the students; definitely at par with some of those very professional symphonies of the world. They might not have played the music to that perfection which probably the professionals may be able to play. But the soulfulness of the music definitely did not go unnoticed by the National Commissioner of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
As Swami got up from the chair and was going towards the stage to bless these children, obviously Swami was very proud. He is already a proud mother and when children do something like this, His chest expands! Because He considered that these children have kept up His name in front of such a huge national group. The people associated with Bharat Scouts and Guides came forward and almost stopped Swami in tracks and told, ‘We have never seen a programme like this put up by such young children. We have heard professionals play all across the world, at the Royal Albert Hall or at The Athens Concert Hall or in many such venues. But something like this, so soulful, we have not seen before.’
Swami had to respond to this appreciation. He could not have said My children are always the best. He wanted to tell it in a nicer way. He said,
“Elsewhere, there may be beauty, discipline, there might be dedication but here there is Devotion which drives all the other things!”
Bharat Scouts and Guides stand for Duty, Discipline and Dedication. But Swami said all these don’t work without Devotion being the undercurrent. And then He gave the example.
“The lights are glowing, fans are running. Everything is happening because there is electric current which is flowing through all of them. If you switch off the current, the fans would stop, the lights won’t glow. Everything else which is dependent on the current will not work. Similarly, devotion is what makes duty, dedication and discipline happen. Without devotion, all these won’t work.”
What a tremendous and profound lesson to the National Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides. I wonder if anybody else has ever told him that inculcating devotion, love for God in the students will make them far more disciplined, far more dedicated and they will be far more better as human beings too.
It really occurred to me what makes this place click. What makes these wonderful projects happen; day after day, lakhs and lakhs of square feet of construction in 18 to 20 different locations, hundreds of people joining every passing year as staff and colleagues. And thousands of devotees thronging to these back of the beyond place called Muddenahalli. What makes all this happen? Is it the efficiency of the people, professionalism over here? You ask our colleagues and everybody will find it very difficult to answer this. None of us are professional construction people, none of us are professional educationists; none of us are professional spiritual leaders! We are just ordinary human beings. But He makes extraordinary things happen through very ordinary people. It is not our professionalism, it is not our sense of duty; it is not our sense of dedication or discipline. But far deeper than that, devotion to Swami is what makes all the impossible things happen. Whenever they play ‘Mission Impossible’, Swami keeps joking and says “It is ‘Mission I’m Possible’ because I make it possible!”
For an outside person, if you tell 19 new educational institutions have literally popped up from nowhere and 14 of them are populated, children are already studying there and some of them have already graduated all the way up to university level and there is a University which came up in straight eight or nine months and then you have two hospitals functioning full-fledged. For an outsider, it is Mission Impossible! What makes this Mission Impossible become Possible is definitely Swami’s presence which makes things happen but I would not be wrong if I say, it’s also the kind of devotion that people have for Swami and they want to make His will happen. So, we are all like the go-getters for God. If He says, get it, we go all the way and get it and we don’t go back till we get it. That is the Hanuman spirit. When Rama said, deliver this ring to Mother Sita on the other side of the ocean; no questions were asked, no arguments, no debates, and no discussions. ‘If You have willed it, it shall happen.’ And then the rest as they say is history. I see that is the reason why so many wonderful things happen in this place.
