"Ustedes Son Mi Misión".
Un devoto irritado con todas sus “penas de Seva”, fue a dar a la habitación de entrevistas casi quejándose: “Swami, estamos intentando tanto para hacer que Tu misión suceda, pero hay muchos obstáculos que se interponen en nuestro camino. Estamos trabajando de manera desinteresada para el mayor bien de la humanidad, ¿por qué no nos ayudas a llevar adelante Tu misión con facilidad?”
Swami, quien paciente y compasivamente escuchaba la protesta de un alma abrumada, respondió firmemente: “Mi querido, estás equivocado de que todo este trabajo es Mi misión. De hecho, ¡Tú eres Mi misión! Si crees que los hospitales y escuelas son Mi misión, que me estás ayudando a hacer que todos sucedan, entonces, estás sumamente equivocado. De hecho, es al revés. Los hospitales y escuelas están ayudando a que tú sucedas, ya que Tú eres Mi verdadera misión. Todo lo que hago es hacerte como Yo, desinteresado e intrépido como la Divinidad, ¡si todo lo demás sucede y esto no sucede, entonces, realmente Mi misión no ha sucedido!”
A menudo, atrapados en el fango de hacer que las cosas ocurran, en lugar de volvernos desinteresados e intrépidos, en el corazón de Su interminable trabajo, nos volvemos inquietos e insomnes, ya que perdemos de vista el mismo punto de que todo este trabajo es para nosotros, y no estamos aquí para el trabajo.
Lo que el servicio nos hace a nosotros es más importante que lo que nosotros hacemos como servicio, Swami a menudo recuerda. Así que aquí estamos, no trabajando juntos como misioneros, sino que Su misión está manifestándose en todos nosotros.
La mañana fue un aluvión de actividades mientras el séquito de Swami se preparaba para partir hacia el próximo destino, Kuala Lumpur. Había una cierta oscuridad en el aire, que es el caso cuando es hora de que Swami salga de una ciudad o país en particular. Siempre parece que Swami acaba de llegar, cuando ya es hora de irse. Después del desayuno, Swami salió de su habitación, bendijo a todos los devotos que esperaban para buscar las bendiciones del Señor antes de su partida. Y junto con Swami y la comitiva, una gran cantidad de devotos también los acompañaron al aeropuerto para despedirse de todos, hasta la próxima visita. You Are My Mission
An exasperated devotee with all his ‘Seva blues’, landed up in the interview room, almost complaining, “Swami, we are trying so hard to make Your mission happen, but there are so many obstacles that come in our way. We are working so selflessly for the greater good of humanity, why don’t You help us take Your mission forward with ease?!”
Swami who was patiently listening to the rant of an overwhelmed soul compassionately, responded assertively, “My Dear one, you are mistaken that all this work is My mission. In fact You are My mission! If you think that the hospitals and schools are My mission, that you are helping me to make them all happen, then you are grossly wrong. In fact it’s the other way round, the hospitals and school are helping you to happen, as You are My true mission. All that I do is to make you like Me, selfless and fearless which is divinity, if all else happens and this does not, then truly My mission has not happened!”
Often caught in the mire of making things happen, instead of becoming selfless and fearless, we at the heart of His endless work, become restless and sleepless as we miss the very point that all this work is for us, and we are not here for the work.
What service does to us is more important that what we do as service, Swami often reminds. So here we are, not missionaries working together but His mission manifesting in all of us.
DIVINE VISIT – KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA JANUARY 31 AND FEBRUARY 01, 2018
The morning was a flurry of activities as Swami’s entourage were preparing to leave for the next destination, Kuala Lumpur. There was a certain gloom in the air, which is the case when it is time for Swami to leave from a particular city or country. It always seems that Swami just arrived, when it is already time to leave. After breakfast, Swami emerged from His room, blessed all the devotees who were waiting to seek the Lord’s blessings before His departure. And along with Swami and the entourage a whole host of devotees also accompanied them to the Airport to bid everyone a fond farewell, until the next visit. A short hour and a half flight, and the entourage landed in Kuala Lumpur. The spirited and energetic youth of Sai Ananda eagerly and lovingly received everyone. Wading through the traffic, after more than an hour’s drive, the entourage reached Sai Amrutham, the residence of Brother Ayavoo Arumugam and his devout wife Dr Vimala. Swami manifested outside their home and was welcomed with much devotion and adoration by the couple and more youth from Sai Ananda. After some quick refreshments, Swami and His entourage proceeded to Batu Caves. The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. January 31 was Thaipusam, a festival celebrated with much fervour, as this was the day Lord Shiva from His third eye created His son Subramanya or Murugan. On this day, Mother Parvati gave the Vel or a spear to Murugan to vanquish the Asuras.

DIVINE VISIT – SINGAPORE FEBRUARY 02, 2018
It was an early morning departure to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and the entourage of Bhagawan were on their way to Singapore. Though the next destination was Laos, limited weekly connections only from Singapore demanded that the ‘Singapore gang’ enjoy Swami’s presence for a day, before their departure to Vientiane on February 03. The flight landed at Changi a little before noon, and the entourage were lovingly received by the devotees of Singapore, who are true examples of selfless service. This team of 14 families are ever ready to engage in any Seva activity, and consider it a blessing to be able to do so! Not only the older devotees, but the next generation, their children who are all in their twenties, have remarkably imbibed these selfless values from their parents, and are religiously following in their footsteps, much to the joy of Bhagawan!
Swami reached the residence of Dr Ravi Pillay, the ‘gang leader’ as the Lord calls him affectionately. Lunch was served, and after some rest, He proceeded with His entourage to the residence of Brother Sutharshanom and his wife Mrs Selina. Brother Sutha, as he is fondly called is the blessed person who was able to offer his land for the Ashram in Batticaloa in Sri Lanka. Due to heavy traffic Swami reached a little late, and as soon as He sat down said, “There was heavy traffic. So I started counting the buildings, there were so many then I lost count. Then I started counting the cars, which were so many, and I again lost count. Then, I started counting My devotees....

DIVINE VISIT – VIENTIANE FEBRUARY 03 AND 04, 2018
After breakfast on February 03, Swami’s entourage proceeded to the Changi Airport to board their flight to Vientiane in Laos, Southeast Asian country traversed by the Mekong River. With a rich history stretching back 10,000 years, Laos is a landlocked country known for mountainous terrain, French colonial architecture, hill tribe settlements and Buddhist monasteries. Upon reaching Vientiane, the entourage were lovingly received by the Kolay brothers, Debojit and Avijit, the Jeswani brothers, Rajesh and Kamal, along with other devotees. This group of devotees in Laos, with simplicity as their first name, are engaged in a lot of selfless Seva and Swami’s entourage were waiting for the next day and a half to unfold itself in the most beautiful way. Upon reaching the residence of one of the devotees late afternoon, snacks were served to all. Apart from many devotees from Laos, many had gathered from Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Everyone rested in the evening, and after dinner all retired for the night.
The next morning February 04, after a wonderful breakfast of traditional Laotian and Indian dishes, all gathered to bask in Swami’s love. The prayer hall was newly constructed for Swami’s arrival, and looked absolutely majestic. Swami blessed a few families with interviews before He came to the prayer Hall for Satsang.
As always, Mr Isaac Tigrett was the first speaker, who started by saying, “No one can tell you what to believe, and no one can tell you what not to believe. We are all on individual journeys, and no two journeys are alike. But we are all headed.... To know more, click HERE

DIVINE VISIT – VIENTIANE FEBRUARY 05, 2018
The various social initiatives of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, be it health, education or water, have always been a huge blessing to humanity. Swami has always said ‘My Life is My Message’, and it is indeed very endearing to see how so many devotees around the world have taken cue from these projects and have tried to implement them in their own countries. One such inspiring example which Swami’s entourage were to witness was right in the heart of Vientiane! A Sathya Sai School and a medical Centre, offering values-based integral education as per the principals of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The school serves the underprivileged children of about 16 villages, comprising of about 9,000 people. The school has about 163 children and eight staff members, from kindergarten to Grade 5. The Medical Centre provides basic out patient services, and day-to-day medical requirements of children and elders. Swami and His entourage reached the school at around 10:45 a.m. and were received by all the little children who were lined up outside holding roses, and sweetly greeting all with a ‘Sairam’. The devotees including the Jeswani and Kolay Brothers who are managing the running of the school lovingly welcomed Swami. The Indian Ambassador to Laos H E Mr Ravi Shankar Aisola along with his wife were also present at the school. Swami visited every classroom and blessed all the children. He said this primary school will have a High School by next year, and will eventually grow into a University! Swami then walked up to the Medical Centre which is within the same premises, and blessed the doctors and nurses. He commanded the devotees to set aside one room exclusively for the Divine Mother and Child Health Program, and instructed Sri C Sreenivas to send some doctors from India who can train the team in Laos.
Swami then walked up to the Hall where a short cultural programme was presented by all the children. The first 10 minutes was Veda Chanting.....
