En el segundo día de Dasara, los estudiantes abarcaron 23 aldeas de Mandals Puttaparthi y Kothacheruvu en la mañana después de circunvalar el Mandir. El programa de la tarde comenzó a las 16: 30 hrs con la invocación védica.

A las 16:50 hrs Sri Ajit Popat comenzó su charla con su estilo característico. Se acordaba de los primeros Grama Seva y en el Bhagavan le había dado instrucciones a el y a su grupo de entonces. Destacando  la fuerza y ​​el poder de la mente, contó las cuatro etapas  del Sadhana o práctica espiritual,  tal como lo definió  Bhagavan a él, a saber, sentir,  experimentar, darse cuenta. 

Es importante sentir que el trono en el Santuario Sanctoram no está vacío. Él está sentado allí como el eterno testigo, subrayó.

R. Sri Raghavendra, hijo y discípulo de Sri Padmabushan Mushnam Raja Rao y Sandilyan Padma realizó un concierto Carnatic en la Divina Presencia. Estuvo acompañado en el violín por Smt. Charulatha Ramanujam, Sri Sudhindhra en el Mridangam y Sri Shankar Sashi en el Ghatam. Con su voz impecable, Sri Raghavendra comenzó el concierto con Naadha Tanu Manisham, aumentando el ritmo con Shiva Shiva Shiva Enna Raaya, continuando con Arunachala Naayakam y otras canciones antes de concluir con Chandrasekara ...



El concierto fue seguido por los  bhajans, interpretado por los estudiantes , concluyendo con "Prema Mudhitha .." en la voz divina.

On the second day of Dasara, the students covered 23 villages of Puttaparthi and Kothacheruvu Mandals in the morning after circumambulating the Mandir. The evening programme started at 1630hrs with Vedic invocation.

At 1650hrs Sri Ajit Popat started his talk in his characteristic style. He reminisced about the very first Grama Seva and the instructions Bhagawan had given him and his group then. Stressing on the strength and power of one's mind, He recounted the four stage of Sadhana or Spiritual Practice as defined by Bhagawan to him, namely, Feel->Know->Experience->Realise. It is important to feel that the throne in the Sanctum Sanctoram is not empty. He is seated there as the eternal witness, he stressed.



In the house of the Lord, there is no regression, frustration or depression, only Sai Session, he quipped. Concluding with the reminder, "I am not a beast, I am not a bird, I am a man, I am a Sai Devotee, I am verily God", Sri Ajit Popat prompted the assembly to follow him in his Jaikars.

Sri R. Raghavendra, son and disciple of Padmabushan Sri Mushnam Raja Rao and Padma Sandilyan performed a Carnatic concert in the Divine Presence. He was accompanied on the violin by Smt. LA HISTORIA DETRÁS DEL VIDEO (el alcanfor-3) .

Este evento tuvo lugar unos días después de que la decoración de oro había sido completada dentro del Mandir de Prasanthi , cuando Bhagavan Baba había dado instrucciones al sacerdote para que usar sólo una pequeña cantidad de alcanfor en los varios yagnas realizados en la instalación de los ídolos maravillosos de Sri. Sita Rama Mata , Lakshman y Hanuman . 


Cabe señalar que todos los años,  por mandato divino, todos estos yagnas se están llevando a cabo en el cobertizo común, en el otro extremo del Ashram, y no en el complejo del Mandir. 


En el último día de los programas de Padhuga Pooja, más de 2000 parejas se dirigían al salón Kulwant para la celebración de la Divinas Padhugas. 


El Pooja se llevó a cabo con gran devoción, bajo la dirección de  Sastrigal Sri Jayarama. Cada pareja se había provisto de una placa para quemar alcanfor , una pequeña cantidad de alcanfor y una caja de cerillas, de modo que todos ellos podían ofrecer el Arathi a Bhagavan Baba, al igual que el año anterior. 


En este punto , Swami tomó a todos por sorpresa, con una rápida decisión . Swami dijo a Sri. Chettiar , que habían completado recientemente la colocación del oro en los techos del Salón  Kulwant, y la ceremonia del Arathi puede estropear las aplicaciones de oro por la emisión de humo de las pastillas de alcanfor de los más de 2000 devotos . 
Swami hizo el anuncio de que los devotos no enciendan el alcanfor, y sólo  Srinivasan Chettiar haría  el Arathi a Bhagavan, al final de la ceremonia de la Pooja. 


Y justo antes de encender el alcanfor, Swami  dio instrucciones para hacer nuevamente el anuncio, por el Sistema de micrófonos. Mientras que el anuncio era realizado por Sri. Jayarama Sasthrigal, que lo tradujo al Inglés, Swami estaba observando con gran interés, y asentía con la cabeza, en completa  aprobación .

In the subsequent year, 2002, the Arathi scene was entirely different. Only Sri Srinivasan Chettiar, President of Sri Sai Padhuga Trust, took Arrathi to Bhagavan Baba, as command by Swami..

This year was unforgettable period for Sri Sai Padhuga Trust, Madurai. A great dedicated job of massive gold fixing decoration work in Sai Kulwant Hall and Prashanthi Mandir was just over.

The most holy event Padhuga Prathishta Mahothsavam was in progress. This event was taking place after few days since the Gold decoration had been completed inside Prashanthi Mantir, when Bhagavan Baba had directed the Priest to use only a small quantity of camphor

Several yagnas were happening, prior to the installation of the wonderful Idols of Sri. Rama Sita Mata, Lakshman and Hanuman were being installed. It should be noted that every year, as per Divine command, all these yagnas were being conducted in common shed, at the far end of the Ashram, and not in the Mandir complex.

On the final day of the Padhuga Pooja programmes, over 2000 plus couples were marching into the Kulwant hall holding Divine Padhugas over their heads. And the pooja was conducted with great devotion, under the guidance of Late Sri Jayarama Sastrigal. Every couple had been provided with a camphor plate, a small quantity of camphor and a match box, so that all of them could offer Arathi to Bhagavan Baba, like the previous year.

At this point of time, Swami took everybody by surprise, with some quick decision. Swami told Sri. Chettiar, that they had recently completed the gold fixing on the ceilings of Kulwant Hall, and the Mass Arathi may spoil the gold interior work up above by the smoke emitting from various camphor plates of the 2000 plus devotees. Swami directed to make announcement that all devotees should not lit the camphor, and only Sri. Srinivasan Chettiar will take Arathi to Bhagavan, at the end of the Pooja ceremony.

And just before lighting the camphor, Swami instructed to make the announcement once again over the mike System. While the announcement was being made by Sri. Jayarama Sasthrigal, which was then translated in English, Swami was watching with great interest, and was nodding his head, in complete approval.

En este día muy auspicioso del aniversario del nacimiento del Amado Sai Baba de Shirdi (según lo revelado por Bhagavan), Prashanti comenzó su fiesta con los Bhajans de Dasara Kalasa Sthapana a las 08:00 hs en el Mandir Sai Kulwant Hall. 

A las  08:30 hrs, los estudiantes de Bhagavan comenzaron el Grama Seva 2011. 23 pueblos incluidos Kodapaganipalli y Narepalli de Kothacheruvu Mandal fueron cubiertos este año.

Esta tarde asistimos a una presentación brillante de  música clásica indostánica por Ustad Gulshan Bharti, un exponente de renombre de la Lucknow y Gharana Senia.

Ustad ha ganado nombre y fama en todo el mundo, mostrando las formas musicales clásicas de la India, en el Festival de la India en Francia en 1991, Rusia en 1987, Canadá en 1988 y Pakistán en 1986.



Se inició la presentación con la canción Doondtha Tujhe, seguido por Mohein Ab mera Maharaja, Raja y concluyó acertadamente con Satguru Maharaj Sai. Acompañado por Sri Moinuddin, Sri Ilyas Khan, Sri Shyam Kumar, Sri Aqeel Ahmad Khan, Sri Chandan Warsi, Sri Muquim Warsi y Kum Meena Verma, Ustad Gulshan Bharti, elevo a la asamblea a un estado trascendental con su interpretación mística sufí.

El programa fue seguido por bhajans. Los artistas fueron premiados con regalos y prasadam fue distribuido a todos.La sesión del día concluyó con el Arati.

On this extremely auspicious day of the birth anniversary of the Beloved Sai Baba of Shirdi (as revealed by Bhagawan), Prasanthi started her Dasara festivity with Kalasa Sthapana at 0800hrs in the Bhajan Mandir of Sai Kulwant Hall. At 0830hrs, students of Bhagawan started this year's Grama Seva. 23 villages including Kodapaganipalli and Narepalli of Kothacheruvu Mandal was covered today.

This evening saw a scintillating presentation of Classical Hindustani Music by Ustad Gulshan Bharti, a renowned exponent of the Lucknow and Senia Gharana. Ustad has earned name and fame across the globe, showcasing Indian classical musical forms at the Festival of India in France in 1991, Russia in 1987, Canada in 1988 and Pakistan in 1986.



He started the presentation with the song Tujhe Doondtha, followed by Mohein Ab Mere, Raja Maharaja and concluded fittingly with Satguru Maharaj Sai. Accompanied by Sri Moinuddin, Sri Ilyas Khan, Sri Shyam Kumar, Sri Aqeel Ahmad Khan, Sri Chandan Warsi, Sri Muquim Warsi and Kum Meena Verma, Ustad Gulshan Bharti took the assembly into a transcendental state with his mystic Sufi rendition.

La visita de Swami a Mudenahalli en el sueño de Sri Narasimha Murthi


Me gustaría compartir con ustedes algunas de las instrucciones que Swami me diera en mi sueño del domingo último. [En primer término le da la bienvenida a los estudiantes y al personal del Instituto Sathya Sai de Estudios Superiores, Campus de Mudenahalli, y a otros dignatarios]


Swami apareció en mi sueño en el Brahmi Muhoortam el pasado domingo 10 de julio del 2011. Me dio muchas instrucciones; algunas de ellas muy personales. Compartiré con ustedes algunas de las que son relevantes no sólo para ustedes sino para todos los devotos alrededor del mundo. Bhagavan había dicho en una ocasión anterior : 'Tengo tres formas, una es la densa confinada al Mandir en el que resido físicamente, la segunda es la sutil con la que trasmino toda el área del ashram en que resido (en esos días Él se refería al área de Prasanthi Nilayam) y la tercera es la forma causal con la que que lleno la creación entera.' Swami se apareció en mi sueño en Su forma sutil y esto fue lo que me dijera :


"Ten preparado para Mi estadía el edificio sobre la colina, antes de Mi llegada el día de GuruPurnima (15 de julio 2011). Ese día entraré allí y Me quedaré permanentemente. Desde allí iré a visitar diferentes lugares y regresaré. Mas estaré allí de manera permanente."


Swami : Preguntó por el nombre que habíamos decidido para el edificio de la cumbre.

NM: Cuando dije que Prasanthi Towers (Torres de Prasanthi) no pareció gustarle.

Swami : "De ahora en adelante, esta masión será llamada 'Sathya Sai Anandam'. El Mandir de Mumbai es 'Sathyam', en Hyderabad es 'Shivam', en Chennai es 'Sundaram' y ahora en Mudenahalli es 'Anandam'."


Cuando le hablé acerca de este sueño a mi amigo y colega Sri A.R. Manjunath, opinó que era 'un maravilloso nombre el que Swami ha dado para la biografía que piensas escribir'. He aceptado dicha sugerencia. Después de escribir el 8º volumen de "Sathyam Shivam Sundaram" voy a escribir una amplia biografía de Swami que abarque Su vida desde el nacimiento hasta el fin de su estadía física. Ese libro que se encuentra aún en la matriz del tiempo, se llamará "Sathya Shivam Sundaram Anandam".


Volviendo ahora al sueño,

Swami : "Tu me estabas diciendo que viniera acá y Me quedara" (de hecho no era sólo mi sentir, era una aspiración de todo el personal, los profesores y estudiantes), porque al realizar el BhoomiPuja para este edificio, le había indicado al presidente que éste era para Su estadía. Este edificio es igual al Yajur Mandir, excepto por algunos muros divisorios faltantes en la planta baja. "Ustedes estaban orando para que Yo viniera y Me quedara. Vine y constaté que nada estaba listo en Mi habitación, no había agua en el grifo, y ni una sola bata para Mi uso."

NM : Le dije, perdóname Swami, me preocuparé de eso.

Swami : Tampoco me gusta el color del ediicio. Conoces Mi predilección por tres colores. No trates ahora de repintar todo el edificio, no va a ser posible. Pero pinta la habitación destinada a Mi permanencia con esa combinación de rosado, azul y marfil, antes del GuruPurnima y transfiere todos los arreglos que has hecho en el PremDeep para Mi llegada, al SathyaSaiAnandam. Ofrece alimentos cada día." Y luego agregó, "La litera en el PremDeep es demasiado alta, reduce su altura antes de trasladarla acá."


Swami : Indicó que se mantuviera una estatua de Él en la planta baja y especificó que había de ser como la del Chaitanya Jyothi – de pié sobre un loto con una mano alzada en Abhaya Hastam, hecha en mármol. Agregó que se mantuviera también un ídolo de Ganesha acá. Y, lo más importante, Swami reveló cuanto ama al Venerado Madiyala Narayana Bhat, el fundador de las instituciones Aklike Mudenahalli. Indicó también de instalar un busto del Rev. Anna que es Narayana Bhat a la entrada de este edificio. "Mantengan allí también uno de los coches que Yo usara". Agregó, "mucha gente lo ha sacrificado todo para el desarrollo de esta institución, debieran exponerse también retratos de ellas." Swami empleó de hecho el términoThyaga bhoomi.

"Organicen un gran programa para GuruPurnima en el Sai Anandam, lleven a cabo un Sathya Sai puja y Bhajans, y distribuyan ropas para todos los estudiantes, incluyendo a los que asisten de día, y sirvan comida para todos los asistentes."

NM : Nací en un medio pobre y como sigo siéndolo, me pregunté cómo podría conseguir ropas

para todos los estudiantes, lo que significaría cientos de miles de rupias.

Swami : respondió a mis pensamientos y dijo, "no te preocupes por eso. Yo voy a disponer ropas para todos los estudiantes." Uno de los alimentos que Swami eligiera para todos era un 'vaso de idly' y eso también me preocupaba. Él dijo, "No te preocupes por eso. Balaram Nichani (quien solía conducir el coche de Swami entre Prasanthi y Brindavan y a veces también a Kodaikanal) lo conseguirá." Nichani ya lo trajo, de modo que todos se lo van a servir durante el almuerzo. Luego dijo, "Nenu akkadiki vastaanu, akkada kanabadutaanu. Yo voy a ir para allá y también voy a ser visto ahí."

NM : Para quien sea visible y para quien no, dependerá de Su dulce voluntad. Hubo un tiempo en que daba Darshan en general para todos, lo merecieran o no. Esa oportunidad se acabó el 24 de abril de 2011. Aquellos de nosotros que seamos merecedores de Su Darshan, lo recibiremos – Le podremos ver físicamente también si Él lo quiere. Porque en mi asociación con Él durante los últimos 46 años, no hay ni una sola palabra Suya que no sea cierta. Estoy absolutamente seguro que uno de estos días Le veremos.


NM : Me asaltó una duda, porque no he dejado de visitar Prasanthi el día de GuruPurnima por los últimos 46 años. De modo que Le pregunté a Swami si había de estar aquí o ir a Puttaparthi.

Swami : "¿Neeku buddhi ledu, nenu ikkadaki vastanu ante neevu akkada emi chastavu?" - ¿No tienes cerebro, qué es lo que harás allá siendo que Yo voy a venir acá?.

NM : (Él ya me lo dijo muchas veces antes que carecía de cerebro, ¡lo cual debe ser una verdad eterna!) Swami me habló durante toda la conversación en simple telugu, como lo solía hacer ya hace como hace 7 u 8 años. Durante toda la conversación Swami estuvo de pie, no había silla de ruedas alguna. Me dijo, "En Prasanthi Nilayam hay gente que se va a encargar de organizar todo el programa; tu no te preocupes por eso y te quedas acá."


Luego me indicó que empezara a escribir el segundo tomo del libro 'Sathya Sai Divya Kripaashraya' el día de GuruPurnima. Yo estaba en realidad pensando en escribir este segundo volumen, 'Sathya Sai Divya Sannidhi', después de completar la exhaustiva Biografía de Swami. Ella contendrá detalles de mi vida después de que Swami me llevara a Prasanthi Nilayam desde aquí.

Volviendo a lo que Swami dijera en lo concerniente a este edificio.

Swami : Dijo, "Toma medidas para establecer un museo que describa el desarrollo de las instituciones de Mudenahalli y Alike y Mis visitas a estos lugares. Mantén el museo abierto al público cada jueves, los demás días. podrán utilizar su salón central los moradores del campus, los docentes y estudiantes, para meditación."

Luego hizo una asombrosa revelación – "Este lugar se convertirá en un gran centro de peregrinación, y serán miles los que lo visiten. Le concederé el Anandam de Sai a todos los que visiten esta mansión de Sathya Sai Anandam."


Luego dijo algo que deleitará a todos los karyakarthas (motivadores de la obra) de acá y que resulta relevante para todos los devotos y para los que sirven en las instituciones de Swami. Dijo, acerca de Sri Narayana Bhat : "Narayana Bhat estaba muy interesado en formar a cientos de jóvenes para la Misión Sathya Sai. Estoy preparando a mil Narasimha Murthis y tu los vas a ver a todos durante tu vida, tu vas a servir a Swami por veinte años más." (Se refirió a Narasimha Murthi sólo a guisa de ejemplo; no que yo sea nada especial).

Luego me indicó, "Elige a diez muchachos para que traduzcan las obras literarias de Narayana Bhat al inglés y al hindi, para que puedan leerse en todo el mundo. Informa también al respecto a la gente de Alike."


NM : Indicó a continuación que en el edificio del Instituto, no era buena la foto Suya que se había puesto en la sala dispuesta para Él. Era un hecho también que habíamos puesto muy bellas fotos por todas partes y, tal vez no ahí quizás pensando que bastaba, ya que Él no estaría.


NM : Esta no es más que una breve nota y me enfrenté al dilema de compartir o no este sueño con otros, ya que pensé que la gente podría pensar que este Narasimha Murthi había perdido súbitamente la razón. Y entonces se llegó al climax de todo este episodio. Un joven amigo mío entró a mi habitación a las once horas del día siguiente y dijo, "Swami me ha indicado de donar un par de tenidas de ropa para todos los estudiantes". Luego de esto, ya no me cupo duda alguna. Me sentí convencido que el sueño no era sólo para mí, sino para todo el mundo y decidí entonces compartirlo.

En el sueño, Swami también dijo, "Voy a elegir a un par de muchachos mayores para prestar servicio en el edificio y para que duerman allí." Ese día no me indicó nombres. Al día siguiente, apareció de nuevo esa noche. Le dí las gracias por las ropas, las que ya habían llegado. Swami dijo, "¿No tienes fe en Mis palabras?"

Luego le mencioné a Swami lo de los dos muchachos y Él me indicó sus nombres. Sentí curiosidad por ver cuántos habría con ese nombre. Uno de ellos fue el único con ese nombre. Y Swami, además, me dijo claramente, "Pedda Pillalu, Musicio unnaru." Ambos muchachos estudian música.

Bhagawan’s Divine visit to Mudenahalli as told by Shri.Narasimha Murthy recently


I would like to share with you some of the instructions Swami gave me in my dream on last Sunday. 

Swami appeared in my dream in Brahmi Muhoortam on last Sunday, July, 10, 2011. He gave me many instructions; some of them are very personal. I will share with you the ones that are relevant not only to you but to all the devotees around the world. Bhagavan had said on an earlier occasion- ‘ I have three forms, one is gross form which confines to the Mandir I physically reside in, second is subtle form in which I pervade the entire ashram area I reside in( those days HE meant the Prashanthi Nilayam area) and the third is causal form by which I pervade the entire creation. Bhagavan appeared in His subtle form in my dream and this is what He told me:-

“Get the the hill-top building ready for my stay before I arrive on this GuruPurnima day (15th July, 2011). On GuruPurnima day I will enter there and stay there permanently. I will go from here to different places and come back. But I will stay here permanently”.

Swami: He asked for the name that we had decided for the hill-top building.

NM: When I said Prashanthi Towers, he was not happy with it.

Swami: “Now onwards this mansion shall be called SATHYA SAI ANANDAM”. In Mumbai Mandir is SATHYAM in Hyderabad it is SHIVAM in Chennai it is SUNDARAM and now in Muddenahalli it is ANANDAM.

When I told about this dream to my friend and colleague Sri A R Manjunath, he said what a wonderful title Swami has given for the Biography you intended to write. I have accepted that suggestion. After writing the 8th volume of Sathyam Shivam Sundaram I am going to write a comprehensive Biography of Swami covering His life from birth to the end of His physical sojourn. That book which is in the womb of time will be called ‘Sathyam Shivam Sundaram Anandam’.

Coming back to the dream,

Swami: “You were telling me to come here and stay, in fact it was not only my feeling it was the aspiration of all the staff , teachers and students here because He had performed the BhoomiPuja of this mansion and had told the L&T chairman that this building is for His stay. This building is exactly like Yajur Mandir except for few partition walls missing in ground floor of this building. ‘You were praying for me to come and stay here, I came and saw nothing was ready in my room, no water in the tap, not a single robe is kept for me’.

NM: I said forgive me Swami I will arrange for them.

Swami: ‘I also don’t like the color of the building. You know my choice of three colors. Now don’t try painting entire building, it wont be possible. But paint the room meant for my stay in that combination of Pink, blue and ivory before Gurupoornima and shift all the arrangements you have made in PremDeep for my stay to SathyaSai Anandam. Offer food everyday.” Then He also continued to say ‘ the Cot in PremDeep is too high, reduce the height before shifting it here.’

Swami: He told to keep a statue of Swami in the ground floor hall and gave specifications that it should be like the one in Chaitanya Jyothi – standing on a Lotus with hand raised in Abhaya Hastam, made out of Marble. He told to keep an idol of Ganesha also here, more importantly, Swami revealed how much He loves Revered Madiyala Narayana Bhat the founder of Alike Muddenahalli institutions. He told to keep a bust of Rev Anna that is Narayana Bhat at the entrance of this building.‘keep one of the Cars I used also here. Then He said ‘lot of people have sacrificed their everything for the growth of this institution, their pictures also should be displayed here. Swami in fact used the word Thyaga bhoomi.

“Have grand programme in Sathya sai Anandam on GuruPoornima day, have Sathya Sai pooja and Bhajans and distribute clothes to all the students including day scholars, and serve food for everyone present.

NM: Being a born pauper and continuing to be so, I was wondering how to get clothes for all students spending lakhs of Rupees.

Swami: responded to my thoughts and said “don’t worry about it, I am going to arrange clothes for all the students.” One item of food Swami chose for all the students. It is called tumbler idly translated into English. I was worried about this tumbler idly also. He said “ don’t worry about it, Balaram Nichani ( used to drive Swami’s Car while travelling to and for from Brindavan- Parthi sometimes to Kodaikenal also) will get it”. Nichani has already brought it; all of you are going to get it during lunch. He then said ” Nenu akkadiki vastaanu, akkada kanabadutaanu. I will come there and also I will be seen there”.

NM:To whom He will be visible and to whom not is left to His sweet will. There was a time when He granted wholesale Darshan whether anyone deserved or not. That opportunity came to a close on 24th April 2011. Those of us who deserve His Darshan will get it- can see Him physically also when He wills. Because, in my association with Him for past 46 or so years, none of His words have gone untrue. I am very very sure we will see Him one day or the other.

NM: I had a doubt, because I had not missed my visit to Puttaparthi on Gurupoornima day for last 46 years. So I asked Swami whether I should be here or go to Puttaparthi.

Swami: “ neeku buddhi ledu, nenu ikkadaki vastanu ante neevu akkada emi chestavu?” – You don’t have brains, what will you do there when I am coming here,.

NM: (He has told me many times before also that I don’t have brains, which is an eternal truth?) Swami spoke to me entire conversation in chaste Telugu as He used to do about 7 to 8 years before. For the entire length He was standing, there was no wheel chair. He told me “in Prashanthi Nilayam there are people to carry on the programme, you don’t worry about it, you be here”.

Then He told me to start writing the second volume of Sathya Sai Divya Kripaashraya book on Gurupoornima day. I was actually planning to write the book Sathya Sai Divya Sannidhi the second volume of Sathya Sai Divya Kripaashraya after completing the comprehensive Biography of Swami. That will contain details of my life after Swami personally took me from here to Prashanthi nilayam.

Coming back to what He said regarding this building,

Swami: He told, ‘arrange a museum depicting the growth of Muddenahalli and Alike Institutions and My visits to these to places. Keep the museum open to public on every Thursday , on other days the inmates of the campus teachers and students can use the hall for meditation”. Then He made a stunning revelation-“This place will be a great pilgrimage center and thousands will visit this place. I will grant the Anandam of Sathya sai to all those who visit this Sathya Sai Anandam mansion.”

Then He told something which will delight all the karyakarthas here and is relevant to all the devotees and those serving in Swami’s institutions. He told about Sri Narayana Bhat. “ Narayana Bhat was greatly interested in molding hundreds of youths for Sathya Sai Mission. I am preparing a thousand Narasimha Murthis and you will see all of them during your life time, you will serve Swami for twenty more years”. (He referred to Narasimha Murthi only as an example , not that I am anything great) .

He then told me “choose ten boys to translate the literary works of Narayana Bhat into English and Hindi so that people all over the world shall read them. Tell Alike people also about the function”.

NM: Then he pointed out that in the college building; the photograph kept in the room meant for Him is not good. It was a fact also, we had kept nice photos everywhere else except there and maybe we thought, that is enough since He Himself is going to be there.

NM: This is just a brief note, and I was in a dilemma whether I should share this dream with others as I felt people may think suddenly this NarasimhaMurthi has gone mad. Then there was the climax of the whole episode. One young friend of mine walked into my room at eleven o clock the next day and said ‘Swami has prompted me to give a pair of clothes to all the students’. When that happened I had no doubt. I felt convinced that the dream is not merely to me but for entire world and decided to share it with all. In the dream Swami said, “I am going to select two big boys for doing service in the building and to sleep here.”

That day He didn’t tell me the names. On the second day, that night once again He appeared; I thanked Him for arranging the clothes, which already had come. He Said “don’t you have faith in my words”. Then I told Swami two boys, He told me the names. I was curious to see how many are there by that name. One of them was only one by his name. He also told in clear terms “ Pedda Pillalu, Musiclo unnaru. Big boys both are in music.

Om Sai Ram Querida familia Sai:

La cuenta regresiva para el GRAMA SEVA de este año ha comenzado y todos están haciendo arreglos para que comience el 28 de septiembre de 2011.
Esta tarde, fue el turno de los chicos sevas del Reino Unido, de prepar las MARIONETAS favoritas de Swami.

Sri. Ajith Poppat, vestido con la ropa sacerdotal, y unos 50 niños estaban sentados en el centro de la sala del Sai Kulwanth, frente al Mahasamadhi de Swami.
Se les dio la oportunidad de hacer los cantos vedicos, mientras Veda Narayana y otros observaban de cerca, se cantó el Purusha Suktham  y el Narayana Suktham. 

Más tarde cantaron algunos bhajans hermosos que incluyó una mezcla rápida de bhajans . Fue muy agradable ver a estos chicos cantar y cantar como los muchachos de Prashanti, que muestra la cantidad de interesados en poner en practica las enseñanzas de Swami .
Al final fue el turno de nuestro  Prof. Anil Kumar, para tomar el centro de la escena, y anunciar el Programa y los horarios de Navarathri junto con el Grama Seva . Se felicitó especialmente a Lanka , por los Títeres y su equipo para el éxito en la participación en el Grama Seva, junto con los estudiantes de Swami, durante 8 años consecutivos.

El grupo británico tendrá un programa musical el jueves y una charla de Sri.Puppet (espectáculo de títeres como él dice con razón) y  podría haber otro programa el 3 de octubre. El Prashanti Vidwan  Mahasabha en el Auditorio Purnachandra.

Mientras tanto, unos 60 camiones (TATA 407 como comúnmente se les llama) se han estacionado detrás de los edificios del Norte. Esta noche, a todos los conductores de camiones, se les informó de los acerca del programa Grama Seva, el significado y la santidad de participar en este noble gesto para nuestro amado Señor .. Había bastantes hombres y unos pocos policías también. Cada uno  acompañara a cada camión principalmente para el control de las multitudes.

A partir de esta noche, PM 10, las hermanas de Anantapur comenzará su larga noche SHIFT de embalaje que incluye, pesar  los paquetes de alimentos, embalaje y colocarlos en cajas.

Cualquier paquete de menos de 350 gramos es rotundamente apartado y enviado de vuelta para volver a preesntar. Como se dice, cuando se alimenta, asegúrese de que el destinatario tenga el estómago lleno.

25 Pueblos en Kothacheruvu serían los beneficiarios el primer día del Grama Seva de este año.

Siendo los chicos, el primer día y como es la tradición, los que participan en el Grama Seva, circundando el Mahasamadhi a las 8 am, para salir hacia los respectivos pueblos, como esta planeado.

ALGUNOS COMENTARIOS:

Con los años hubo muchos devotos que han hecho comentarios positivos y negativos de mis correos electrónicos, algunos incluso me amenazaron por razones conocidas por ellos y de todo corazón les doy las gracias y aprecio por tomarse el tiempo en leer y comentar. 

En mi correo anterior, cuando dije que "el Sai Kulwanth estaba lleno a rebosar", hubo cerca de tres devotos que me preguntaron por qué  he dicho que la sala estaba llena, cuando todavía había algunos espacios vacíos aquí y allá ... Sé de los tres afortunados devotos y los veo casi todos los días en Sai Kulwanth  .. Con Pranams a Swami, yo sólo quiero decir que siempre es ideal  ver el vaso medio lleno, y no la parte vacía.  

Esta misma sala ha sido la meca para algunos, para otros pocos Kashi, Jerusalén para el Christains. Permitanme apreciar todo lo que Swami nos ha dado que de hecho no tiene precio ...

Om Sairam dearest Sai Family

The final countdown for this year's prestigious GRAMA SEVA has begun and all arrangements are being made for the Grama Seva to start on the 28th September 2011.
This evening, it was the turn of the UK Grama Seva boys groomed by Swami's Favourite PUPPET, Sri. Ajith Poppat. Dressed in the Priestly colour outfits, about 50 boys were seated in the middle of the Sai Kulwanth Hall facing Swami's Mahasamadhi.
They were given the chance to do the Veda Chanting as brother Veda Narayana and others watched them closely, they chanted the Purusha Suktham and Narayana Suktham. Later they sang some beautiful bhajans which also included one fast speed bhajan medley. It was so nice to watch these young boys chant and sing like the Prasanthi Boys, which shows how much keen they are in putting Swami's teachings into practice.
At the end it was the turn of our own Prof.Anil Kumar to take the center stage when he announced the Navarathri Programme along with Grama seva schedule. He specially congratulated Sri. Puppet and his team for successfully taking part in the Grama Seva along with Swami's students for 8 years in a row.
The UK group will have a musical programme on Thursday and a talk by Sri.Puppet (Puppet show as he rightly says) and there might be another programme on October 3rd. The Prasanthi Vidwan Mahasabha venue is still Poornachandra Auditorium.

Meanwhile about 60 Trucks (TATA 407 as they are commonly called) have been parked behind the North buildings. This evening, all the Truck drivers were briefed with all the information about Swami's Grama seva, its significance and sanctity involved in this noble gesture by our beloved Lord.. There were quite a few police men as well. Each one will be accompanying each truck mainly for crowd management.

Starting from 10 PM tonight, the sisters from Anantapur will start their night long PACKING SHIFT which includes weighing the food packets , packing and loading them into huge plastic cartons.Talking of weight,any packet weighing less than 350 gms is outrightly regected and send back for re-filing. As it is said, when you feed, make sure the recepient is stomach full.

25 Villages in Kothacheruvu would be the first day beneficiaries of this year's Grama Seva.

Being the first day and as it is the tradition, the boys participating in the Grama Seva will circumbulate the Mahasamadhi at 8 AM and leave for the respective villages as in the plan.

SOME COMMENTS:

Over the years there were so many Devotees who have made some positive and negative comments about my emails, some even threatened me for reasons best known to them and i whole heartedly appreciate and thank them for taking time in reading and commenting. In my previous email when i said "the Sai Kulwanth hall was full to brim" there were about 3 Devotees who questioned me as why i said the hall is full when there were still some empty spots here and there... I know all the three fortunate Devotees and I see them almost every day in Sai Kulwanth hall..With Pranams to Swami, I just want to say that it is always ideal to see the half glass full if not the empty part. Being seated there in Sai Kulwanth hall, not sure if they derive any happiness in seeing the hall empty but every body in Sai's fold feel immense bliss in just entering Sai Kulwanth hall, then and now as well. This very hall has been the Mecca for some, Kashi for few others, Jerusalem for the Christains. Lets appreciate all that Swami has given to us which indeed is priceless...

Los trabajos del segundo día por los devotos del Distrito de Prakasam, consistió en un drama de danza titulado "Seva Aradhana " , basado en la filosofía de Educare de  Bhagavan.

El programa se inició con la recitación védica a las 163:0hrs. A las  17:00, el sketch se abrió con un baile colorido por los niños. Al final de la danza, la escena cambió a un estado de ánimo malhumorado, con los padres frente a la maestra por el plan de estudios convencional de la escuela. El profesor explica que la filosofía educativa de la escuela se basa en los ideales de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba y su objetivo es convertir a cada estudiante en un Vivekananda.

Los padres escépticos, presentaron una serie de preguntas que son respondidas por sus propios niños, que se ponen del lado de su maestro cariñoso. Al ver la confianza y el idealismo de sus pupilos,  los padres se dan cuenta del valor de Educare y consultan con el profesor sobre Bhagavan. 
El profesor responde que Prashanti Nilayam no se puede explicar. Uno tiene que venir, ver, experimentar y disfrutar . Él explica que Bhagavan vivió su vida como un epítome de servicio desinteresado, y al mismo tiempo interrogado sobre su identidad, respondió: " Yo soy Dios y ustedes también son Dios. Dense cuenta de que esta es la Verdad. ".



Mientras esta conversación estaba ocurriendo, un aldeano pobre y anciano,  le informa que uno de sus hermanos fue admitido en el hospital y necesita urgentemente sangre de un grupo sanguíneo raro. Los ancianos tienen miedo debido a la idea errónea acerca de que la donación de sangre, que es aclarado por parte del profesor, que se ofrece a donar su sangre, lo que demuestra que la filosofía de la educación es la que se pone en práctica. 
La escena concluye con una danza y una procesión palanquín de Bhagavan.
Mientras los niños cantaban bhajans, prasadam fue distribuido a la asamblea. Y regalos fueron distribuidos a los participantes. 
Era domingo, las actuaciones del día llegaron a un final brillante con la grabación de un Bhajan cantado  por Bhagavan,  seguido por el Mangala Arati.

The second day's proceedings by devotees from Prakasam District consisted of a dance drama entitled 'Seva Aradhana' based on the Educare philosophy of Bhagawan.

The programme commenced with Vedic recitation at 1630hrs. At 1700hrs, the skit opened with a colourful dance by children. At the end of the dance, the scene shifted into morose mood with parents confronting the teacher for the unconventional curriculum of the school. The teacher explains that the educational philosophy of the school is based on the ideals of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and his aim is to convert every student into a Vivekananda.

The sceptical parents put forth a number of question which are answered by their own wards who take the side of their loving teacher. Seeing the confidence and idealism in their wards the parents realise the value of Educare and they enquire with the teacher about Bhagawan. The teacher replies that Prasanthi Nilayam cannot be explained. One has tocome, see, experience and enjoy. He explains that Bhagawan lived his life as an epitome of Selfless Service and while questioned on His identity, replied , " I am God and you too are God. Realise that this is the Truth.".



As this conversation was going on, a poor villager comes to an elder and informs him that one of their brethren was admitted in Hospital and urgently needs blood of a rare blood group. The elders are scared due to misconception about blood donation which is clarified by the teacher who offers to donate his blood thus demonstrating the educational philosophy is one which is put into practice. The skit concluded with another dance and a palanquin procession of Bhagawan. Children from the district sang Bhajans while Prasadam was distributed to the assembly. Gifts were distributed to the participants. Being a Sunday, the day's proceedings came to a scintillating end with the recording of a Bhajan sung by Bhagawan followed by Mangala Arati.

Los devotos del Distrito de Prakasam  tienen la oportunidad de realizar su peregrinación anual a Prashanti Nilayam esta semana. Un discurso y un concierto de música Carnatic componen el programa de hoy. Un sketch titulado "Seva Aradhana 'está previsto para esta mañana.

El programa se inició con la recitación védica a las 16:30hrs. A las 17:00 hs, Sri. MS Krishnamurthy, presidente del distrito de Prakasam, se dirigió a la reunión. Él comenzó su discurso enumerando la contribución del Distrito de Prakasam a la cultura de Bharat, a su sociedad y a la santa misión de Bhagavan. Transmitió sus saludos a los diversos templos de la zona, y expreso su gratitud por las diversas industrias que albergan, se informó sobre las actividades de las Organizaciones Sri Sathya Sai Seva en el distrito.

El Presidente del Estado en un tono nostálgico.

A continuación, pasó a un estado de ánimo nostálgico, recordando las peregrinaciones anteriores del grupo, los programas realizados y las interacciones de amor con Bhagavan. Recordó los diversos grupos de fieles islámicos, abogados, directores y maestros de la zona que llegaron con la peregrinación en años anteriores.

Los artistas buscan las bendiciones 

Antes del programa,  Sri Prakash Rao coordinador de cultura, presentó el programa de artistas músicales de hoy: "Sangeetha Sevamani, el Dr. Dwaram Lakshmi (Profesor de Música, Universidad Padmavathi Mahila, Tirupathi), realizo con el acompañamiento de SMT Sangeetha Sevamani 'Violín Deepika Kala' Challa Prabhavath, (Director de Venkateswara College of Music, Tirupathi) en el violín, y Sri Parupalli Subramanyam en el Mridangam y Sri Alugolu Satyanarayana en el Ghatam.

Una presentación brillante.

El concierto empezó con la Aalap, "Sathya Sainam Vishnum", y continuo con la canción Vatapi Ganapatim en Hamsadvani raag, seguido por Appa Rama devoción en Pantuvarali raag, Krishna nee beganae en Yaman raag y concluyó con el Bhajan, Govinda Krishna Jai. 

Aalaps muy melodiosa para cada canción mejoron su belleza. Una voz sublime y una interpretación impecable del violín fue el punto culminante del programa.

Devotees from Prakasam District got their opportunity to perform their annual pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam this week. A speech and a Carnatic music concert comprised today's programme. A skit entitled 'Seva Aradhana' is scheduled for tomorrow.


The programme commenced with Vedic recitation at 1630hrs. At 1700hrs, Sri . M.S. Krishnamurthy, District President of Prakasam District addressed the gathering. He started his speech enumerating the contribution of Prakasam District to the culture of Bharath, to its society and the holy mission of Bhagawan. Conveying his salutations to the various temples of the district, and expressing gratitude for the various industries it houses, he reported on the activities of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations in the district.


The State President in a Nostalgic Mood


He then went on a nostalgic mood, recounting the past pilgrimages of the group, the programmes performed and the loving interactions with Bhagawan. He remembered the various groups of Islamic devotees, Lawyers, Principals and Teachers from the district who arrived with the pilgrimage in previous years.

Sri Prakash Rao, the cultural coordinator introduced the artists of today's music programme: 'Sangeetha Sevamani', Dr. Dwaram Lakshmi (Prof of Music, Padmavathi Mahila University, Tirupathi) performed in the accompaniment of 'Sangeetha Sevamani' 'Violin Kala Deepika' Smt Challa Prabhavath, (Principal of Venkateswara College of Music, Tirupathi) on the violin, Sri Parupalli Subramanyam on the Mridangam and Sri Alugolu Satyanarayana on the Ghatam.

A scintillating presentation.


The concert started with the Aalap, "Sathya Sainam Vishnum" leading to the song Vatapi Ganapatim in Hamsadvani raag, followed by Appa Rama Bhakthi in Pantuvarali raag, Krishna nee beganae in Yaman raag and concluded with the Bhajan, Govinda Krishna Jai. Very melodious aalaps for each song enhanced their beauty. A sublime voice and a flawless rendition on the violin was the highlight of the programme.

Sri PSA Srinivasan Chettiar fue confiado por Bhagavan Baba, con un trabajo único y grande, de la fijación de láminas de oro en Prashanti Nilayam. Yo fui muy afortunado de ser incluido en el equipo, por Srinivasan Chettiar, junto con Sri. Srinivasa Raghavan, y Sri. Sengodan. 

Siempre estaremos agradecidos con él,  por proporcionarnos la gran oportunidad de formar parte de este Seva Divino.

Después de terminar el trabajo en el Sai Kulwant Hall, nos dirigimos a realizar el trabajo en la terraza interior y exterior del Mandir de Prasanthi . 

El área alrededor del Altar y el techo,  de cerca, parecía bastante mal,  parecía aceitoso y negruzco. Mientras que el trabajo estaba en marcha Swami entró y  en silencio miro a los trabajadores involucrados en el trabajo. Swami miró hacia arriba, cerca del altar y nos mostró los parches de negro en las esquinas de la pared y el techo,  con la mano derecha lado . Swami nos conversaba. Swami inocentemente, me preguntó por qué ese lugar en particular había perdido el brillo.

De profesión, era técnico en sistemas de calefacción industrial, y había hecho muchas investigaciones sobre los movimientos de los rayos de calor. Me enorgullecía de explicar a swami sobre la base de mi orgullo. Le expliqué que las manchas aceitosas negras, se habían formado por el humo que emana del alcanfor quemado durante Arathi todos los días. También explicó que los rayos de calor y el humo en última instancia, aumenta un poco en un ángulo, y no verticalmente hacia arriba. Swami  escuchaba, con  respeto y admiración. Entonces él me pidió que diera sugerencia para evitar la repetición de esas manchas de humo! 

Hay pequeñas ventanas en lo alto, pero siempre se mantienen cerradas. Me armé de valor para sugerir, sería mejor si un extractor de aire sea instalado.

Swami al instante se enojó conmigo, y me dijo: "Estoy tratando de construir las vibraciones dentro de esta sala de oración, y  usted está sugiriendo algo para destruir esas vibraciones. Un extractor de aire en el "Graha Garbha?"

Mi ego y el orgullo se estrelló en un segundo. Me puse de rodillas y ore por el perdón Swami. Swami me devolvió una sonrisa, y llamó a Sri Bhat que era el sacerdote de el Mandir. Swami dijo Sri. Bhat, señalando sus manos sobre mí, "Este Srinivasan Bombay se queja de usted. Él dice que usted  quema demasiado alcanfor para Arathi. A partir de entonces, se deberá utilizar sólo una cantidad muy pequeña de alcanfor en el Arathi ".

Swami insistió en que no debemos dejar de trabajar incluso durante las sesiones Bhajan. Mientras transcurren los Bhajan,  Swami va a estar sentado en el Trono Dorado escuchando los bhajans, y a veces mirando a los trabajadores que estarán en el trabajo sentados en lo alto por encima de los andamios. En este día particular, durante el Arathi de la tarde, Swami se acercó a Sri. Bhat para ver por sí mismo la cantidad de alcanfor que se había colocado en la placa de Arathi. Y hecho una mirada ligera hacia mí con una sonrisa .!

STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO .

The Camphor – 2


Sri P.S.A.Srinivasan Chettiar was entrusted by Bhagavan Baba, with a unique and great Job of fixing gold foils in Prashanthi Nilayam. I was most fortunate to be included in the team, by Srinivasan Chettiar, along with Sri. Srinivasa Raghavan, and Sri. Sengodan. We are ever thankful to him for providing a great opportunity to join this Divine Seva.

After finishing the work in Sai Kulwant Hall, we were directed to take up the job in the interior and outside veranda of Prashanthi Mandir. The area around the Altar and the ceiling nearby, seemed pretty bad, and looked oily and blackish. While the work was in progress Swami walked in and was quietly watching the workers engaged in the job. Swami looked up near the altar and showed us the black patches up on the corners of the wall and the ceiling in right hand side of the Altar. Swami engaged us in conversation. Swami innocently asked why that particular place had become tarnished.

By profession, I was technologist in industrial heating systems, and had done many researches on the movements of heat rays. I took pride to explain to swami based on my pride. I explained that the black oily patches had been formed by smoke emanating from the camphor burnt during Arathi every day. I also explained the heat rays and the smoke ultimately goes up slightly in an angle, and not vertically up. Swami was listening as if in awe and wonder. Then he asked me to give suggestion to avoid the recurrence of smoky layer! There are small windows at the highest level, but are always kept closed. I took courage to suggest, it would be better if an exhaust fan is fitted.

Instantly Swami got angry with me, told me, “I am trying to build up vibrations inside this prayer Hall, and you are suggesting something to destroy those vibrations. An exhaust fan in the “Garbha Graha?”

My ego and pride were smashed in a second. I knelt down and prayed Swami for forgiveness. Swami smiled back, and called for Sri Bhat who was the priest in Mandir. Swami told Sri. Bhat, pointing His hands on me, “This Bombay Srinivasan is complaining about you. He says that you are burning too much camphor for Arathi. Henceforth, you should use only a very small quantity of camphor for Arathi”.

Swami was insistent that we should not stop work even during Bhajan sessions. Bhajan will be going on and Swami will be sitting on the Golden Throne listening to the Bhajans and at times looking at the workers who were on the job sitting high above the scaffoldings. On this particular day, during evening Arathi, Swami went near Sri. Bhat to see for Himself how much camphor had been kept on the Arathi plate. And a slight glance towards me with a mischief smile.!!1

Hay un segundo milagro presente en esta fotografía que ha pasado casi desapercibido para quienes están familiarizados con esta fotografía, y es que el humo que emana de las llamas genera la forma más de el símbolo del AUM. ¿Alguna vez ha visto el humo con un ángulo agudo en el medio de ella? Buscar ese punto, que el ángulo agudo cerca de dos tercios de la altura de la columna de humo.

There is a second miracle present in this photograph that has gone largely unnoticed by those familiar with this photograph, and that is that the smoke emanating from the flames forms most of the symbol of AUM. Have you ever seen smoke with a sharp angle in the middle of it? Look for that point, that sharp angle about two-thirds of the way up the column of smoke.

This picture depicts a yagna or sacrifice. This is not the kind of sacrifice where one kills an animal. In this ceremony what is sacrificed are one's bad qualities, one's anger, greed, envy, jealousy, and lust. These Vedic Priests are pouring ghee, a form of butter, and other liquids into the fire.
If we had RealAudio, you could hear the chanting of the Vedic Priests, which will go on all day long during certain holidays.

If one looks at the fire in this photograph, Sai Baba's form can easily be seen, with his right hand raised as if blessing others.

Empieza el Grama Seva desde el 28 de septiembre 2011

Om Sai Ram más querida familia Sai


Saludos desde tierra santa, Puttaparthi. Por su gracia divina,  bendición y Su inmensa compasión, las cosas se ven en  Parthi con altos niveles de energía , el ritmo se mantiene.

GRAMA SEVA 2011


Llegado al final de septiembre, siempre hay mucha ansiedad en el aire, por la fiesta hermosa de   Dasara previa a Diwali . Hay también un gran entusiasmo en el pueblo de Puttaparthi y pueblos de los alrededores, ya que sera bendecido con prasadam de Swami, como parte del Grama Seva.
Incluso para los estudiantes sera una apretada agenda, con los grandes "sevas a domicilio" y el  "trabajo duro" de embalaje de los paquetes de alimentos, saris, y dhothis,  a distribuir a todos y cada una de las villas .

Este "seva Grama " también da una buena oportunidad a los estudiantes, en particular, para espiar en las vidas de los aldeanos pobres, evaluando las condiciones de vida de los pobres, y los niveles de nutrición  e incluso sus viviendas pobres.
Este año el Seva grama,  es a partir del 28 de sept  hasta el 6 de octubre, es muy singular, ya que marca el 10 º aniversario de este estupendo proyecto que Swami con mucho amor comenzó en el año 2000, donde él personalmente superviso cada aspecto del programa de Grama Seva , desde la selección de las aldeas, los estudiantes, el modo de transporte, así como el tipo de saris y dhotis para ser distribuidos. Cada "trabajo" de Swami está muy estrechamente tejido con la perfección y la pureza.
Este año el seva grama  es también muy singular, ya que sería el primer seva Grama en su ausencia física. 

Hubo muchos traficantes de rumores, que pronosticaban el cierre del proyecto "grama seva", este año. Había algunos que dudaban de si este se encuentra todavía en el "Calendario de Prashanti", pero nuestro Swami ha dejado su forma física sólo para "trabajar con más intensidad y fuerza", y esten seguros que con su gracia,  todas las actividades continuarán por toda la eternidad y más allá.

145 VILLAS, 350.000 viviendas:

Este año, Grama Seva cubrirá tres mandals que rodean Parthi, Kothacheruvu, Bukkapatnam y sandalias Puttaparthi. 

Son alrededor de 145 pueblos con cerca de 350.000 viviendas. Cada casa recibirá un paquete con sari, dhothi ,   alimentos y laddu para cada miembro de la familia ..

Hablando de Grama Seva, hay que mencionar  la gran fortuna de unos cuantos jóvenes del Reino Unido, ya que Swami muy gentilmente les permitiera hacer la Grama Seva, junto con los estudiantes desde el año 2002. 

En la tarde en el mes de enero de 2011, me encontré con Mr.Puppet del Reino Unido, cerca del Salon  Sai Kulwanth  y su rostro estaba iluminado y se veía muy, muy feliz , y antes de que pudiera preguntarle, él muy amablemente me dijo , que Swami ha tenido la amabilidad aceptar el programa de grama seva  de este año  y con su inmensa compasión me ha pedido que invitara a todos los jóvenes que han participado en grama seva a lo largo de los años en Prashanti, para celebrar el 10 º año del programa Grama Seva  .. 

Mr.Puppet dijo que entre los chicos hay muchos que ya están casados y viven con sus hijos y Swami dijo, "sabko bulake AANA" ( invitar a cada uno).

Ahora para mantener la promesa dada a nuestro amado Señor, hay cerca de 100 jóvenes que llegan a Prashanti, antiguos y nuevos, desde el Reino Unido, el 25 de septiembre, para jugar su papel en el programa Grama seva de este año, que estoy seguro que hará muy feliz a Swami  .

Dasara sapthaham va a comenzar desde el 30 de septiembre en el Auditorio Poorna Chandra con poornahuthi el 6 de octubre.



PROGRAMA DE COMIDA GRATIS:

¿No se sabe cómo, a pesar de que no hay ninguna palabra oficial, pero todos apuestan a la puesta en marcha probable de Sri Sathya Sai Nithya Annadana Pathakam (comida gratis a todos los devotos) en Puttaparthi. 
Algunos dicen que se iniciará a partir Dasara, otros dicen desde el cumpleaños de Swami. 
Todos los grandes templos de la India, sea Tirupathi e incluso Shirdi para el caso, proporcionar comida gratuita a todos los devotos, (siempre que esperen, a veces durante horas, su turno). 
A pesar de que el ashram de Swami cuenta con tres comedores en las instalaciones del ashram, la cantina del sur de India, en particular,  proporciona una comida completa por sólo Rs.6 , que literalmente es un esquema de comida gratis, ya que Rs.6, no es nada, incluso para los más pobres de los pobres.
En esta época de precios de las hortalizas,  combustibles, etc son altos ,  y proporcionar comida completa por sólo Rs.6,  es un costo pequeño. Aquí es donde en el ashram de Swami , este programa de comida gratis es sin duda un gesto noble de los devotos de Swami.


Los otros comedores funcionarán como de costumbre, incluso después de la puesta en marcha del programa de comida gratis.


Vibhuti materializaciones:

VIBHUTHI IN SWAMI'S GENERAL HOSPITAL

En una nota diferente, Swami ha bendecido el Hospital General de Puttaparthi con vibhuti prasadam, como se puede ver en las fotos con vibhuti en ellos. El gráfico de fotos en blanco y negro de Swami sosteniendo un estetoscopio (foto Divino Doctor) en la sala número 14 en el Hospital General, ha sido bendecida con vibhuti desde el 14 de Septermber  de 2011;  y también se puede ver otra foto con vibhuti de Swami en Norte 4, en el ashram. 
A pesar de que tales sucesos divinos no son nuevos en el mundo Sai, como un signo de la omnipresencia de Swami, da una inmensa alegría para nosotros los devotos, especialmente cuando sucede en su propio Puttaparthi.


En una nota diferente, que se adjunta aquí hay una fotografía de una madre pobre, vendiendo cocos en la calle, sin duda una mujer analfabeta, revisando el cuaderno de su hijo, mientras se prepara para ir a la escuela. Esta foto compartida por Dr.Amrat chaval de Newzealand es muy conmovedor y una lección definitiva a todas  las mujeres ocupadas que trabajan y que a pesar de no tener educacion,  tienen unos minutos para examinar las tareas del niño. 
Que Dios bendiga a esta pobre madre y el amor que le tiene a su hijo, a pesar de ser analfabeta y pobre .

SIN CAMBIOS EN LA NAVIDAD DEL PROGRAMA:

Hubo muchas consultas sobre el estado del coro de Navidad habitual  en la víspera de Navidad y también el coro de niños, para el 25 de diciembre por la noche, que por razones desconocidas  faltaba en el calendario de Prashanti publicado por el ashram. 
A pesar de que el coordinador de los medios de comunicación ,  fue notificado sobre esto,  hasta ahora no hubo ninguna palabra oficial, pero según una fuente, que es miembro clave del programa de Navidad, dijo que los programas serán como estaban previstos .

Grama Seva to Start from the 28th Sept 2011

Om Sairam dearest Sai family

Greetings from the holy land, Puttaparthi. With His divine grace, blessings and His immense compassion, things are looking great in Parthi. The energy levels are high, the tempo is being maintained, the Prashanthi schedule right from Suprabhatam is as it used to be with very peaceful and extended Mahasamadhi darshan arrangements.

Come the end of september there is always tons of anxiety in the air as the most beautiful festival of Dasara followed by Diwali fast approaches. It is also a great excitement for the people of Puttaparthi and surrounding villages as they would be blessed with Swami's Prasadam as part of Grama seva.
Even for the students it would be a busy schedule as they do the major "home work" and "hard work" right from packing the food packets, sarees, dhothis to distributing to one and all in villages.This "Grama seva" also gives a good chance to students in particular to peep into the lives of the poor villagers where the living conditions are poor, the nutrition levels are poor and even the houses are poor but yet you will find all the villagers content and happy which is a very important point to be noted.
This year's grama seva which is starting from the 28th September to 6th October, is very unique as it marks the 10th Anniversary of this stupendous project which Swami very lovingly started in the year 2000 where He personally monitored each and every aspect of the Grama Seva programme, from selecting the villages, students, mode of transport and also the type of sarees and dhotis to be distributed. Swami's every "work" is very closely knitted with perfection and purity.
This year's grama seva is also very unique as it would be the first Grama seva in His physical absence. There were many rumour mongers who predicted the closure of "grama seva" project from this year. there were some who doubted if this is still in the "Prasanthi Schedule" but our Swami has left His physical form only to "work with more intensity and power" and rest assured, with His grace all the activities would continue for eternity and beyond.

145 VILLGES, 350,000 HOUSES:

This year's Grama seva will cover three mandals surrounding Parthi, Kothacheruvu, Bukkapatnam and Puttaparthi mandals. About 145 villages would be covered as part of Grama seva this year with about 350,000 houses. Each house hold will be given a saree, Dhothi and food packets and Laddu for each member in the family..

Talking of Grama seva we should also mention about the great fortune of few youths from the UK whom Swami very graciously allowed to do the Grama Seva along with the students from the year 2002. In the evening of one fine day in the month of January 2011, I bumped into Mr.Puppet from the UK near Sai Kulwanth hall and his face was brightly lit and he looked very very happy and before I could ask him, he very kindly said, brother Satish, Swami has very kindly accpeted the programme for this year's grama seva programme and with His immense compassion has asked me to bring all the youths who have participated in grama seva over the years to Prasanthi to mark the 10th year of Grama seva programme.. Apparently Mr.Puppet said, Swami! among the boys there are many who are already married and living with children and Swami said, "sabko bulake aana" (bring every one).

Now to keep the promise given to our beloved Lord, there are about 100 youths coming to Prasanthi, old and new, from the UK on the 25th september to play their role in this year's Grama seva programme which I am sure will make Swami very happy.

Dasara sapthaham is going to start from the september 30 in Poorna Chandra Auditorium with poornahuthi on October 6th.

FREE FOOD PROGRAMME:

Not sure how, even though there is no official word yet, but every one in Puttaparthi are talking about the probable launch of Sri Sathya Sai Nithya Annadana Pathakam (free food to all devotees). Some say it will start from Dasara some others say from Swami's birthday. Every major temples in India be it Tirupathi and even Shirdi for that matter, provide free meal to all the Devotees, (provided you wait, sometimes for hours, for your turn). Even though Swami's ashram operates three canteens within the ashram premises, the South Indian canteen in particular is providing a FULL MEAL for just Rs.6 which itself is literally free food scheme as Rs.6 is nothing even for the poorest of the poor.
In this era of high vegetable prices, fuel prices etc, to provide full meal for just Rs.6 is not a small thing. This is where Swami and Swami's ashram stay unique and this free food programme is indeed a noble gesture for Swami's devotees.
The other canteens will operate as usual even after the launch of Free food programme.


VIBHUTHI MATERIALISATIONS:

On a different note, Swami has blessed the General hospital in Puttaparthi with Vibhuthi prasadam as you can see in the pictures with Vibhuthi on them. The black and white photo graph of Swami holding a stethoscope ( Divine Doctor photo) in ward number 14 in the General hospital, has been blessed with Vibhuthi since Septermber 14 2011 and you can also see another Vibhuthi photo of Swami in NORTH 4 block in the ashram. Even though such divine occurences are not new to the Sai world, such a sign of Swami's omnipresence gives immense joy to us the Devotees especially when it happens in His very own Puttaparthi.
On a different note, attached here is a photograph of a poor mother, selling coconuts on the street, definitely an illeterate lady checking her son's note book as he gets ready to go to school. This photo shared by Dr.Amrat Lad of Newzealand is very touching and a definite lesson to all those so called BUSY working women who, inspite of being highly educated, don't have few minutes to look into the child's home work. May God bless this poor mother for her mother hood and love she has for her child inspite of being illiterate and poor..

NO CHANGE IN CHRISTMAS PROGRAMME:

There were many enquiries about the status of Christmas choir which happens on Christmas eve and also the children's choir on 25th December Evening, which for reasons best known was missing from the Prasanthi calender released by the ashram. Even though the Media co-ordinator was notified about this but so far there is no official word but according to a source who is key member for the Christmas programme said that the programmes are as scheduled and they have added Multi faith mass in the double deckar building (conference hall opp.Shopping center) on 27th December and a choir by Croatians on 20th of December in Sai Kulwanth hall.

ACTOS PEQUEÑOS ! PARA APRENDER DE BHAGAVAN :

KARPOORAM, (El alcanfor): 

Swami había hablado en varias ocasiones sobre la importancia del alcanfor. Cuando alcanfor está encendido, la llama ilumina la Garbhagraha de un templo, y permite a los devotos un darshan agradable. Cabe señalar que las lámparas eléctricas no se colocan en el interior de los tradicionales  grandes santuarios y templos. Sólo las lámparas de aceite se ven allí. 

El alcanfor se consume al mismo tiempo para ayudar a los devotos a tener el darshan de los Santos ídolos . De acuerdo con Bhagavan Baba, el alcanfor es un modelo de auto sacrificio por una buena causa. 

En varias ocasiones, Swami nos está enseñando pequeñas cosas a través de sus Divinas Lilas. 

Me gustaría mencionar algunas de tales actos divinos, que nos muestra el camino. 

"El  Sai Krupa( seva de medicos), se está llevando a cabo en un galpón con techo de paja, en Abbotsbury, Mount Road, en Chennai . Después de dar darshan dentro y fuera de Abbotsbury, Bhagavan entró en el cobertizo de paja, y vio por sí mismo, los servicios médicos que se proporcionan allí para la gente pobre. 

Al final, un médico estaba preparado para realizar el Arathi para Swami. Swami sonrió y se dirigió al médico, para salir de la nave y tomar el Arathi en el exterior. 

Swami señalo con las manos al techo de la nave, dijo al médico , para que tengamos cuidado. 

El mismo día, después de darshan de la noche en el  Sundaram, el entonces coordinador de T'Nagar Samithi, Sri. Krishnamurthi,  llevaba la pastilla de alcanfor a Swami con una caja de cerillas, de modo que podría Swami encender el alcanfor, del Arathi. Swami miró el alcanfor. Tomó el alcanfor en sus manos divinas, y lo partió en dos pedazos; guardando un pedazo en la caja de alcanfor y el otro se le dio a la Convocante.

Sonriendo Swami encendió el alcanfor y devolvió la caja de cerillas también . La devoción extrema no se mide por el tamaño de la pastilla de  alcanfor ofrecidos en el Arathi.

LITTLE LITTLE ACTS !!! LEARN FROM BHAGAVAN BABA:

KARPOORAM, (The camphor):

Swami had said several times the significance of Camphor. When Camphor is lit, the flame illuminates the Garbhagraha of a temple, and allows the devotees to have nice darshan. It should be noted that Electric lamps are not provided inside the sanctum of traditional big temples. Only dim oil lamps are seen there. The camphor consumes itself while helping the devotees to have darshan of the Holy idols. According to Bhagavan Baba, the camphor is a role model of self sacrifice for a good purpose.

Several times, Swami is teaching us small small things through his Divine Leelas. I wish to mention few of such Divine acts, which shows us the way.

Long back, “Sai Krupa’ the free medical seva center in Chennai was being conducted in a thatched shed in Abbotsbury, Mount Road. After giving darshan inside and outside of Abbotsbury, Bhagavan entered the thatched shed and saw for himself, the medical facilities being provided there for the poor people. At the end, a doctor prepared to take Arathi for Swami. Swami smiled and directed the doctor to come out of the shed and take Arathi from outside. Swami showed his hands to the roof of the shed, told the doctor to be always careful.

The same day, after evening darshan in SUNDARAM, the then convener of T’Nagar Samithi, Sri. Krishnamurthi was holding the camphor plate to Swami with a match box, so that Swami could lit the camphor, for Arathi. Swami looked at the camphor, which was a big chunk. He took the camphor in His Divine hands, and broke it into two pieces; Kept one piece on the camphor plate and another piece was given to the Convener.

Smilingly Swami lit the camphor and returned the match box also to the waver. The extreme devotion is not measured by the size of the camphor as offered for Arathi.

I shall tell you another story of “The camphor’ in a day or two.
