Cuando entré en Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham (Auditorio) vi que todos los estudiantes se habían ido de vacaciones. Solo unos pocos residentes y devotos del ashram están aquí. Y antes de que ocurra ese momento, este es su momento en el que puede aprovechar al máximo la oportunidad.

Si hay diez estudiantes en la clase, el maestro presta más atención. Imagínese si hay diez mil estudiantes? Es imposible llamar la atención. Imagínese si hay un lakh de estudiantes? ¡Imposible incluso ver al profesor! Así es como va a suceder. Te estoy dando una advertencia. Soy un buen profesor Siempre te digo cómo será tu examen. Por lo tanto, mejor prepararse. No encontrarás proximidad física. Se reducirá gradualmente.

Cuando florece una flor, las abejas se dan cuenta. Si es una flor llena de néctar, ¡no tienes que enviar una invitación a las abejas! Llegarán a saber donde sea que estén. Quando entrei em Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham (Auditório), vi que todos os alunos haviam ido de férias. Apenas alguns residentes e devotos do ashram estão aqui. Então, por um momento, fechei meus olhos e vi o futuro. E vi de repente que havia pessoas até a estrada principal. Em todo lugar há pessoas. E para lhe dizer,isso não é muito longe no futuro!

Esta é a sua oportunidade. É por isso que continuo repetindo que este é o melhor momento, lugar e situação, porque chegará um momento em que verdadeiros iogues, aspirantes e sadhakas descerão nesta terra (Muddenahalli). Você verá um mar de laranja em todos os lugares. Eles virão até aqui para ver este lugar, experimentar, realizar sadhana. E antes que esse tempo aconteça, é o seu momento em que você pode aproveitar ao máximo a oportunidade.

Se houver dez alunos na turma, o professor presta mais atenção. Imagine se houver dez mil estudantes? É impossível chamar a atenção do professor. Imagine se houver um lakh ( milhão) de estudantes? Impossível até ver o professor! É assim que vai acontecer. Estou lhe dando um aviso. Eu sou um bom professor. Eu sempre digo como será o seu exame. Portanto, prepare-se melhor. Você não encontrará proximidade física. Isso reduzirá gradualmente.

Quando uma flor desabrocha, as abelhas ficam sabendo. Se é uma flor cheia de néctar, você não precisa enviar convite para abelhas! Eles conhecerão onde quer que estejam. When I walked into Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham (Auditorium) I saw that the students have all gone for their holidays. Only few ashram residents and devotees are here. Then for a moment I closed My eyes and saw the future. And I suddenly saw there are people all the way up to the main road. Everywhere there are people. And to tell you, it is not too far in the future! This is your opportunity. That is why I go on repeating that this is the best time, place and situation because a time will come when real yogis, aspirants, sadhakas will descend on this land (Muddenahalli). You will see a sea of orange everywhere. They will come all the way down here to see this place, to experience, to undertake sadhana. And before such a time happens, this is your time where you can make the best of the opportunity.

If there are ten students in the class, the teacher pays more attention. Imagine if there are ten thousand students? It is impossible to get the attention. Imagine if there are a lakh of students? Impossible to even see the teacher! That is how it is going to happen. I am giving you a warning. I am a good teacher. I always tell you what is going to be your exam like. Therefore, better prepare. You will not find physical proximity. It will gradually reduce.

When a flower blooms, the bees get to know. If it is a flower full of nectar, you don’t have to send invitation to bees! They will get to know wherever they are. If you put a sugar candy on the floor and sleep, next morning you will see so many ants. Likewise, people will come from all the directions. They will come walking; they will come by vehicles with wheels and vehicles with wings! In all the possible ways they will come and reach this place. That day is coming and it is not very far! In your lifetimes, you will see. That is why this is the best time to make use of this opportunity when you are getting so much of guidance, proximity and interaction. Once lost, it is very difficult to get it back.

Today, you may be just a handful. But tomorrow it will be much bigger. Not that I need or want it to be bigger. It will happen because it is natural for it to happen. How can you wish it not to happen? The Divine magnet will attract seekers to itself. They all would like to see how man turns into Divine; how Avatar works. They all have read in scriptures. They have known about it but they have not witnessed it. People will come to witness it. That is going to happen very soon. Be mindful, be conscious of the fact that such a day is arriving not too far in the future. Before that this is your opportunity, your chance to allow Swami to turn you into Divine; to be surrendered and available. That is the simple qualification. And God can do whatever He wants through you. He will know the best way for you to reach your destination for He knows your past, present and future.

Y ahora se está convirtiendo en un modelo. Sigo diciendo que "Sarkar - Samaj - Sanstha" (Gobierno - Sociedad - Instituciones) deberían unirse. Hoy, la población es muy grande. El 50% de la población es joven. Se les debe proporcionar la nutrición, educación y atención médica adecuadas. Si no hacemos eso, mañana terminaremos con la mitad del país enfermo y sin educación. Serán una carga para la sociedad. La población mayor que no hizo lo necesario será la causa de ello. Debemos tomar medidas para evitarlo. Eso es lo que estamos tratando de hacer.

Cuando estábamos en Raipur, había venido el Primer Ministro de Chhattisgarh. Estaba diciendo que el "POSHAN Abhiyaan" del Gobierno está tomando forma a lo grande. El gobierno ha reconocido el hecho de que los niños sufren retraso del crecimiento debido a la falta de una buena nutrición. Por lo tanto, la mayoría de los estados están preparando el programa de comidas intermedias. TATA Trusts se ha unido con los hospitales del gobierno de Chhattisgarh y Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani para proporcionar exámenes de corazón gratuitos y operaciones de seguimiento para esos casos. Han ofrecido apoyar 1000 casos para operaciones. Nuevamente, se trata de un nuevo modelo de Fideicomisos TATA que se presenta con el Gobierno de Chhattisgarh al dar un lugar en los Hospitales del Distrito para que podamos establecer un Centro de detección.

Ese no es el beneficio que se supone que debemos obtener. Pero para nosotros, llegar al océano es el objetivo más importante. Y "Annapoorna" es un camino. Jnana Vairagya Sidhyartham es la razón por la cual se inició "Annapoorna"; para desarrollar el Conocimiento (Jnana) de dentro y para desarrollar un Desapego (Vairagya). Sin desapego, no puedes alcanzar a Dios. Si tus pies están atrapados en el suelo, ¿cómo puedes volar en el cielo? Tienes que aliviar, liberarte de todo el apego. Y Vairagya, a menos que venga, no puedes alcanzar a Jnana. El punto más importante como voluntarios es preguntarnos, ¿nos sentimos más divinos y compasivos? ¿Estamos sintiendo más amor el uno por el otro? ¿Nos sentimos más cerca de Dios que antes? Si eso no está sucediendo y solo están llegando números (logros), no estaré completamente satisfecho con lo que está sucediendo. Trabajemos y centrémonos también en que esto es adoración y nuestra conclusión de este trabajo es nuestro propio progreso espiritual. Que todos presten atención, sean conscientes de este hecho, sean conscientes de su propio progreso espiritual cuando hagan Seva. Este es mi deseo y mis bendiciones.

El gobierno participará donde los recursos serán proporcionados por ellos. Y los Fideicomisos como TATA Trusts y ciertos otros Fideicomisos internacionales que están interesados en la nutrición infantil como un método para mejorar la educación o el sistema de atención médica contribuirán y esto se convertirá en un gran programa multinacional.

Pero antes de que llegue ese momento, quiero hacer sonar las campanas de advertencia. Es muy fácil dejarse llevar por los grandes logros que se le presenten. Y en algún lugar no deberíamos perdernos en todo el laberinto de hacer cosas porque la actividad aumentará repentinamente a un ritmo muy agitado y casi todos los días habrá un desafío. Cada desafío es una oportunidad. Pero si tiene oportunidades todos los días, también puede ser abrumador.

El año que viene, "Annapoorna" se duplicará desde donde está hoy. Abriremos una oficina en casi todos los estados de este país; de nordeste a oeste; Norte a Sur trabajando con el gobierno local y las agencias. Llevaré a 100 personas a "Annapoorna" como personal permanente en todo el país. "Annapoorna" explotará de repente. No va a crecer.

Hay una historia del árbol de bambú chino. Durante años está debajo de la tierra sin ningún crecimiento y algunos incluso pueden suponer que está muerto. Y de repente, lo que no ha sucedido en cinco años, en cinco semanas, crece a toda su longitud. Del mismo modo, "Annapoorna" ha estado creciendo lentamente en los últimos cinco años, aún bajo tierra. De repente, en los próximos meses, la expansión sucederá. Sucederá muy rápido. En esos momentos también, debemos mantener nuestra calma, firmeza y enfoque. Mientras externamente trabajamos, participamos en todas las acciones; internamente deberíamos ser constantes. El océano está muy inquieto en la parte superior, pero en el fondo es estable. También te digo cuál es la parte más importante de la preparación. Es su propia preparación espiritual individual la que es la preparación más importante para el futuro de "Annapoorna"; no los preparativos de memorandos de entendimiento, acuerdos y asociaciones. Pase un tiempo en la contemplación, la introspección y encuentre maneras de volverse más estable en sus mentes y más puro en sus corazones. Eso conducirá esta misión al destino real. En marketing, existe una estrategia de empujar y tirar. Si tu producto es tan fantástico, la gente viene a ti. Si nadie quiere tu producto, debe seguir presionándolo. En la mayoría de los hospitales comerciales, presionan. En nuestros hospitales, vienen solo. En otros hospitales, están cerrando el Departamento de Cardiología Pediátrica, pero en nuestro hospital, ¡tenemos una cola de tres años! Del mismo modo, ocurrirá con "Annapoorna". No tenemos que invitar a nadie. Ellos vendrán a nosotros. Esta vez, la forma en que lidie con total calma, rendición y comprensión definirá qué tan exitosos serán estos proyectos.

Vamos a aprender juntos, trabajar juntos y ser protegidos juntos. Que nuestra inteligencia brille con el conocimiento juntos y también no seamos la causa de la tristeza y el dolor el uno al otro. “To reach the ocean is the most important goal and ‘Annapoorna’ is a way.”

As we travel around many places and meet more people, everybody is so very impressed when they are introduced to Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Breakfast Programme ( https://annapoorna.org.in/ ). In fact, a couple of months back; it was C Sreenivas who met Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi and was updating him about all the various service activities. He was appreciative of Baba’s Education Mission and Healthcare missions growing. ‘Annapoorna’ Breakfast Programme was presented to the Prime Minister as the third leg. The idea behind Breakfast Programme was introduced to him. ‘First meal of the morning is very important for everybody and Breakfast should be given to every school-going child’. The Prime Minister said, “That is a fantastic idea. I never thought about it”. The Governments did not think about it in the last 70 years. But we have thought about it and have worked towards it. And now it is becoming a model. I keep saying ‘Sarkar – Samaj – Sanstha’ (Government – Society – Institutions) should all come together. Today, the population is so huge. 50% of the population is young. They should be provided the right nutrition, education and healthcare. If we don’t do that, tomorrow we will end up with half of the country being sick and uneducated. They will be a burden on the society. The older population which did not do what was necessary will be the cause of it. We must take action to prevent it. That is what we are trying to do.

When we were in Raipur, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh had come. He was saying that Government’s ‘POSHAN Abhiyaan’ is taking shape in a big way. Government has taken recognition of the fact that children are stunted because of lack of good nutrition. Therefore, most of the states are coming up with Mid-meals programme. The new education policy is exploring the options of how Breakfast can be served in the schools and not just the mid-day meals. Many states which did not have Mid-day meals programme have started with Mid-day meals programme and the states which had Mid-meals programme are expanding into the first meal of the day, Breakfast.

We recently joined hands with Adamya Chetana. With great humility and honour, the founder of Adamya Chetana Smt. Tejaswini Ananth Kumar accepted the partnership. It is helping ten thousand more children. And that makes us happy. We could not have reached everywhere. But there are others whom we can join hands with. That is the idea of Samashti (Collectivity). It is more powerful than Vyashti (Individuality).

Governments will come looking for agencies like ‘Annapoorna’ which can execute tasks. Governments have great intention. But they don’t have the ability to translate all of them into action. Invitations will come for partnerships and it is not far away also.

I met the CEO of TATA Trusts (Healthcare). TATA Trusts have joined hands with the Government of Chhattisgarh and Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals to provide Free Heart Screening as well as follow-up operations for those cases. They have offered to support 1000 cases for operations. Again, it’s a new model of TATA Trusts coming forward with the Government of Chhattisgarh by giving its place in the District Hospitals for us to set up a Screening Centre and we, as Sai Sanjeevani going there and executing the whole task. This is what will happen with ‘Annapoorna’ also in the coming times. Government will give permissions, NGO’s like TATA Trusts and many others will come forward to support the programme and we may have to go and execute the programme. This is the way partnerships will form in the future. That is the only way to uplift this big burden of lack of food and nutrition on the society. Unless everybody participates, it is not possible.

All these things will happen. As the work load increases, as more offices and branches open, we spread to more districts; we should not lose the focus on why we are volunteering at ‘Annapoorna’. Why we are here in the first place. How we are going to benefit out of this. Not because we will get Awards, Rewards and Certificates! Not because our names and pictures will come in the newspapers. That is not the benefit we are supposed to derive. But for us, to reach the ocean is the most important goal. And ‘Annapoorna’ is a way. This is the greater goal of ‘Annapoorna’. Jnana Vairagya Sidhyartham is the reason why ‘Annapoorna’ was started; to develop the (Jnana) Knowledge of within and to develop some (Vairagya) Detachment. Without Detachment, you cannot reach God. If your feet are stuck in the ground, how can you fly in the sky? You have to relieve, release yourself from all the attachment. And Vairagya, unless it comes, you cannot attain Jnana. The most important point as volunteers is to ask ourselves, are we feeling more divine and compassionate? Are we feeling more love for each other? Are we feeling closer to God than we felt before? If that is not happening and only numbers (achievements) are coming, I won’t be completely satisfied with what is happening. Let us work and also be focused that this is worship and our takeaway from this work is our own spiritual progress. May you all pay attention, be conscious of this fact, be aware of your own spiritual progress when you do Seva. This is My wish and My blessings.

Government will participate where the resources will be provided by them. And Trusts like TATA Trusts and certain other international Trusts which are keen on child nutrition as a method of improving the education or healthcare system will pitch in and this will become a large multinational programme.

But before such a time comes, I want to ring the warning bells. It is very easy to be swept off your feet by the great achievements that will come your way. And somewhere we should not get lost in the whole maze of doing things because the activity will suddenly increase to a very hectic pace and almost every day there will be a challenge. Every challenge is an opportunity. But if you get opportunities every day, it can be overwhelming too.

Next year, ‘Annapoorna’ is going to double from where it is today. We will open an office in almost every state of this country; from North-East to West; North to South working with the local Government and agencies. I will take 100 people into ‘Annapoorna’ as permanent staff spread across whole of the country. ‘Annapoorna’ is suddenly going to explode. It is not going to grow. There is a story of Chinese Bamboo tree. For years it is under the earth without any growth and some may even assume it is dead. And suddenly what has not happened in five years, in five weeks it grows to full length. Likewise, ‘Annapoorna’ has been growing slowly in the last five years, still under the earth. Suddenly, in the next couple of months, the expansion will happen. It will happen very fast. In such times also, we must maintain our calm, steadiness and focus. While externally we work, engaged in all the actions; internally we should be steady. The ocean is very restless on top, but deep down it is steady. Unless we remain anchored to the spiritual moorings, undertaking this kind of activity will not be possible.

I am a Teacher who always warns you that the examination is going to be tough. So better prepare yourself. But I also teach you how to prepare yourself. I don’t just scare you and go away. I also tell you what the most important part of the preparation is. It is your own individual spiritual preparation which is the most important preparation for the future of ‘Annapoorna’; not the preparations of MoUs, Agreements and Partnerships. Spend some time in contemplation, introspection and find ways to become steadier in your minds and purer in your hearts. That will lead this mission to the real destination. It is coming very soon. It is not even too far in the future. But I have given sufficient time for Team ‘Annapoorna’ to understand the project and how to work. Whenever they wanted to do more than I wanted, I always stopped them. And whenever they did less than what I wanted, I always pushed them. But now it is going to suddenly increase manifolds. Be prepared. Preparation is more internal than external. External will happen on its own without our asking.

In Marketing, there is Push and Pull strategy. If your product is so fantastic, people come to you. If nobody wants your product, you have to keep pushing it. In most commercial hospitals, they push. In our hospitals, it comes on its own. In other hospitals, they are shutting down Pediatric Cardiac Department but in our hospital, we have a three year queue! Likewise, ‘Annapoorna’ will be. We don’t have to invite anybody. They will come to us. That time, how you deal with complete calmness, surrender and understanding will define how successful these projects will be.

Let us learn together, work together and be protected together. Let our intelligence shine with the knowledge together and also let us not be the cause of sorrow and pain to each other. If we don’t grow spiritually, we will end up causing sorrow first to ourselves and in the process to others.

Be Aware. Be Mindful.
