Según los registros oficiales, 8127 devotos asistieron al programa que fue único en su clase, con 13 jefes religiosos que asistieron al programa, y por supuesto el Prof.Anil Kumar representando a nuestro sarva dharma PRIYA DEVA, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
La ciudad tiene una de las mayores concentraciones de personas del Sur de Asia fuera de la sub-continente indio., Y es a veces conocida como "Little India".

Hay diez Sikh Gurdwaras ( templos) en Southall de los cuales uno (El Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, abrió sus puertas en 2003) es uno de los mayores templos Sikh fuera de la India.
Hay dos grandes Mandirs hindú, hindú Vishnu Mandir y el Rama Mandir en el Viejo Southall. Hay más de diez iglesias cristianas incluyendo 5 anglicanas, católica romana, bautistas, metodistas y varias pentecostales o independiente. Hay tres mezquitas "mezquitas" en Southall, la mezquita de Abu Bakr, el Banco Central Jamia Masjid, la mezquita Jamia Masjid y el Centro Islámico.
El programa comenzó con el desfile de bienvenida de Westminster Inter religioso de la Paz y el encendido de una vela de la Unidad, seguida de una cálida bienvenida al invitado principal, el profesor Anil Kumar.
Durante todo el día hubo breves discursos de los líderes religiosos, la fe musicales, melodías, música rock religiosas, espectáculos de danza, oraciones de diversas religiones, un desfile de los niños y la liberación de decenas de globos en el cielo para marcar la importancia de la unidad de religiones.
Lo más destacado del festival fue una charla de energización por el profesor Anil Kumar, y el evento concluyó con la ofrenda de el Aarti a Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
La charla en la ocasión por el Prof.Anil Kumar hizo hincapié en la necesidad de unidad entre las religiones que a consecuencia lograria la unidad en la sociedad.

Photos of the Unity of Faiths Progamme in the UK

Attached here are some photos of UNITY OF FAITHS programme conducted by SOUTHALL SAI CENTRE, LONDON.
According to offical records 8127 devotees attended the programme which was one of its kind with 13 religious heads attending the programme ofcourse Prof.Anil Kumar representing our SARVA DHARMA PRIYA DEVA, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The town has one of the largest concentrations of South Asian people outside of the Indian sub-continent., and is sometimes known as "Little India". Over 55% of Southall's population of 70,000 is Indian/Pakistani.There are ten Sikh Gurdwaras in Southall of which one (The Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, which opened in 2003) is one of the largest Sikh temples outside India. There are two large Hindu Mandirs, the Vishnu Hindu Mandir and the Ram Mandir in Old Southall. There are more than ten Christian churches including 5 Anglican, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Methodist and several Pentecostal or Independent. There are three Mosques 'Masjids' in Southall, the Abubakr Mosque, the Central Jamia Masjid Mosque and the Jamia Masjid Islamic Centre.
The prgramme started with the Westminster Interfaith Peace Parade welcome and lighting of a candle of Unity, followed by a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Professor Anil Kumar. Throughout the day there were short speeches by religious leaders, mutli faith musical meledies, religious rock musc, dance performances, prayers from various faiths, a parade by children and the releasing of dozens of balloons into the sky to mark the importance of the Unity of Faiths. The highlight of the festival was an energising talk by professor Anil Kumar, and the event concluded with the the offereing of Aarti to Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.Speaking on the ocassion, Prof.Anil Kumar stressed the need for unity amongst religions which inturn will bring unity in the society.
