La lógica del corazón es: "Todo el mundo es Divino, así que debo amar a todos". La lógica de la mente es: "Soy Divino o soy mejor que los demás, así que no debo amarlos." 

La lógica del corazón es que todo ha sido creado por Dios, todo ha salido de la Divinidad, entonces todo debería tener algo de Divinidad en sí mismo.

En un satsang celebrado en la presencia divina en Londres, Reino Unido, el 4 de abril de 2016, un devoto busca orientación en relación a equilibrar el trabajo y no ser crítico con las personas.

Y aquí está lo que dijo Swami:

Pregunta: Swami, como alguien esta en una carrera científica, se me ha requerido que desarrolle mis habilidades analíticas y críticas, para poder hacer ese trabajo, pero esto ha comenzado a afectar mi visión en otros aspectos y me ha hecho más crítico de cosas que no entiendo, como curaciones y terapias alternativas. ¿Cómo puedo equilibrar esto y mantener la credibilidad de mi carrera clínica, pero al mismo tiempo, no juzgar a personas de diferentes procedencias y con diferentes enfoques?

Swami: Sientes que la ciencia usa la cabeza, mientras que otras relaciones usan el corazón. La verdad es que todo requiere ser hecho desde el corazón. El corazón también puede analizar; el corazón también puede tener lógica. ¿Quién dice que el corazón no tiene lógica? La lógica del corazón es, “Todo el mundo es Divino, así que debo Amar a Todos”. La lógica de la mente es: “Soy Divino o soy mejor que los demás, así que no debo amarlos”. La lógica del corazón es que todo ha sido creado por Dios, todo ha surgido de la Divinidad, entonces todo debería tener algo de Divinidad en sí mismo. ¿Cómo puede un dulce hecho de jarabe de azúcar no tener un poco de azúcar en él? Del mismo modo, toda la creación es Divina, esa es la lógica del corazón. Esto aún se aplica.

Es una forma muy limitada, el hecho de pensar que estas son dos cosas diferentes. Si están cocinando comida, o si están enseñando a estudiantes, o si están ejerciendo su profesión o son científicos o un médicos, para todo, necesitan usar su cabeza, pero la cabeza motivada por el corazón se hará cargo de todo.

Al final, es sólo desde el corazón que deben pensar; la cabeza solo va a ejecutar las órdenes. No pienses que es la cabeza la que está trabajando incluso cuando están dedicados a su ciencia. ¿Qué es la ciencia después de todo? Es para el mejoramiento de la sociedad. Si hay otro propósito para la ciencia, es un desperdicio. No es para probar la supremacía de uno sobre el otro, ni para establecer la superioridad del propio conocimiento sobre el de los demás. Esa no es la razón para la ciencia. La ciencia está ahí para mejorar la forma en que la sociedad es, y si eso está ocurriendo, entonces eso es  espiritualidad. 

Ya se trate de la ciencia de la medicina, la ciencia de la tecnología, la ciencia de la educación, la comunicación, el transporte, todo esto es para ayudar a la sociedad. 

Cuando la cabeza está motivada por el corazón, la cabeza se convierte en un servidor del corazón y hace su trabajo. Esto deberían aplicarlo incluso en sus profesiones. 

‘¿Por qué estoy haciendo este trabajo?’ Porque tiene como resultado final el mejorar algo. Si lo hacen con el sentimiento de ayudar a la gente, la cabeza se convertirá en un servidor del corazón. Deberían hacer lo mismo en su vida personal, también.

Who says that the heart doesn't have logic? The heart’s logic is, ‘Everybody is Divine, so I must love everyone.’ The mind’s logic is, ‘I am Divine or I am better than others, so I must not love them.’ The heart’s logic is that everything has been created by God, everything has come out of Divinity, so everything should have some Divinity in itself.

In a satsang held in the divine presence in London, UK, on 4th April 2016; a devotee seeks guidance on balancing work and not to be judgmental about people.

Question: Swami, as someone in a scientific career, I have been required to develop my analytical and critical skills, in order to do that work – but, it has started to affect my outlook in other aspects and it has made me more critical and judgemental of things which I do not understand, like healing and alternative therapies. How do I balance this and maintain the credibility of my clinical career, but at the same time, not judge people from different backgrounds with different approaches?

Swami: You feel that science uses the head, whereas other relationships use the heart. The truth is, everything needs to be done from the heart. The heart can also analyse; the heart can also have logic. Who says that the heart doesn't have logic? The heart’s logic is, ‘Everybody is Divine, so I must love everyone.’ The mind’s logic is, ‘I am Divine or I am better than others, so I must not love them.’ The heart’s logic is that everything has been created by God, everything has come out of Divinity, so everything should have some Divinity in itself. How can a sweet made out of sugar syrup not have a little bit of sugar in it? Likewise, the whole of creation is Divine – that is the logic of the heart. It still applies.

It is a very limited way of thinking that these are two different things. If you are cooking food, or if you are teaching students, or if you are doing your profession or you are a scientist or a doctor – for everything, you need to use your head, but the head motivated by the heart will take care of everything.

At the end of it, it is only from the heart that you must think; the head is only going to carry out the command. Don’t think that it is the head that is working even when you are doing your science. What is science after all? It is for the improvement of society. If there is any other purpose for science, it is a waste. It is not to prove the supremacy of one over the other, or to establish the superiority of one’s knowledge over that of others’. That is not the reason for science. Science is there to improve the way society is, and if that is happening, then that is again spirituality. Whether it is the science of medicine, the science of technology, the science of education, communication, transport – all this is to help society. When the head is motivated by the heart, the head becomes a servant of the heart and does its work. This you should apply even in your profession. ‘Why am I doing this work? Because it has the end result of improving something. If you do it with the feeling of helping people, your head will become a servant of your heart. You should do the same in your personal life, too.

Swami lo expone tan simple. El atma es como la luz del sol. La mente es como el vidrio a través del cual se filtra la luz del sol. El atma no tiene ningún color, forma o límites. Pero cuando la luz del sol pasa a través de la ventana de vidrio toma el color del vidrio; cuando pasa a través de la ventana de vidrio verde, se vuelve verde, reflejando una forma en el piso. Cuando pasa a través de un cristal rojo, se vuelve roja. Entonces los atributos de la mente colorean la calidad del alma. Eso que vemos y percibimos, es esta luz del sol filtrada por la mente. Y la llamamos verde, rojo, azul, cualquiera que sea, basado en nuestros filtros o gafas. Esa es la diferencia entre el atma y la mente. El atma no tiene atributos, la mente tiene atributos. Y cuando el atma entra en contacto con la mente, cuando funciona a través de la mente, obviamente se contamina y adquiere ciertos atributos de la misma. Del mismo modo, los sentimientos, las emociones existen en la mente. Pero el atma siempre permanece intacta como la luz del sol pura.

Purusha y Paramatma se consideran uno y el mismo. El universo entero, como dijo Swami, ha emanado de la fuerza positiva y negativa o del principio masculino y femenino. Masculino no es en sentido de género. Es un tipo de energía que es más silenciosa, estable, que no se involucra en la acción. Permanece. Se mantiene. Forma la base fundamental, como el camino que no cambia ni se mueve, pero los autos siguen transitando. O como la pantalla que no se mueve pero las imágenes siguen pasando. El fondo, el substrato permanece estable, intacto, es la parte que llamamos Purusha.

La parte llamada Prakrithi es la forma manifiesta que cambia continuamente. Cuando ven una película, hay dos cosas juntas. Una es la pantalla en la que ven, y la otra es la imagen que ven. A menos que ambas se unan, el mundo no aparece. Del mismo modo, el Atma o Paramatman permanece detrás como el fondo pantalla y Prakrithi reproduce todas las escenas de amor, odio y emociones. Y cuando reunimos todo esto, el mundo entero aparece como lo vemos. Si eliminan el fondo de él, no puede existir. Las imágenes no pueden proyectarse en un espacio vacío. Del mismo modo, si mantienen el fondo y eliminan las imágenes, entonces tampoco verán el mundo. Solo veran el fondo de la pantalla.

Swami da este ejemplo de cómo interactúan Purusha y Prakrithi como la pantalla que permanece estable, sin cambios, intacta mientras que todo acontece en la pantalla, por la proyección. La mente proyecta Prakrithi en Paramatman y nos hace ver el mundo tal como lo vemos. En el momento en que paramos la mente, Prakrithi desaparece y todo lo que queda es Paramatman. Parar esta mente es toda la Sadhana. Ese es todo el proceso. La mente es una especie de cortina entre ese Atman y nosotros. Todos ven a través de este filtro de la mente. Y la mente de todos es diferente y todos perciben el mundo de una manera diferente. Para alguien, el mundo es un gran lugar, para otros es miserable, para algunos está lleno de amor, para otros está lleno de odio. Es por la forma en que lo percibimos. La mente filtra toda la pureza de Paramatman en Prakrithi. Y Prakrithi es diferente para cada persona. La forma en que observamos Prakrithi se basa en nuestros propios instintos internos, emociones o Vasanas. Esta palabra llamada ‘Vasana’ es la impresión de muchos nacimientos e interacciones en este mundo, que traemos cada nacimiento. Algunos traen sentimientos muy buenos y puros porque siempre han vivido en pureza, en buena compañía, hecho cosas buenas. Ellos nacen samaritanos. Hay personas que llevan impresiones del pasado, que tuvieron un pasado difícil en otros nacimientos. La primera impresión de ellos es de defensa, un tipo de resistencia. Si eliminan el filtro de la mente, la luz del sol o la base es la misma en todos. 

Eso es lo que Swami está tratando de decirnos, ‘Todos somos Uno’. No por la proyección exterior, sino por la base del substrato que es el Paramatman.

('Tattva Sameeksha' is a Monday evening Talk session by eminent speakers to the Ashram residents of Sathya Sai Grama in Muddenahalli).

Sri Madhusudan Naidu answers to a question on Soul and Mind.

"The moment you shut off your mind, Prakrithi disappears and all that remains is Paramatman. To shut off this mind is the whole Sadhana."

Swami puts it so simply. Soul is like the sunlight. Mind is like the glass through which the sunlight gets filtered. Soul does not have any colour, shape or any limits to it. But when the sunlight passes through the coloured glass window; when it passes through green glass window, it becomes green, forms a shape on the floor. When it passes through red glass, it becomes red. So the attributes of the mind colour the quality of the soul. That's what we see and perceive is this filtered light of the sun. And we call it green, red, blue whatever, based on our filters or glasses. That's the difference between soul and the mind. Soul does not have attributes, mind has attributes. And when soul comes in touch with the mind, when it works through the mind, obviously it gets tainted and acquires certain attributes. Likewise, feelings, emotions exist in the mind. Soul remains untouched by all this like pure sunlight.

Purusha and Paramatma are considered to be one and the same. The whole universe, as Swami said, has emanated out of positive and negative force or the masculine and feminine principle. Masculine is not the sense of gender. It is one kind of energy which is more silent, stable, which does not engage itself in action. It remains. It stays. It forms the fundamental basis like the road that does not change or move, but the cars keep running. Or like the screen which does not move but the pictures keep playing. The background, the substratum remains steady, untouched is the Purusha part of it.

The Prakrithi part is the manifest form that which keeps changing. When you see a movie, there are two things together. One is the screen on which you see and the other is the picture that you see. Unless both come together, the world does not operate. Likewise, the Atman or Paramatman remains behind as the background and Prakrithi plays all the scenes of love, hatred, emotions. And when we put these together, the whole world appears the way it appears. Remove the background from it, it cannot exist. The pictures can not project in an empty space. Likewise, if you put the background and remove the pictures, then also you don't see the world. You only see the backdrop of the screen.

Swami gives this example of how the Purusha and Prakrithi interact is like the screen that remains steady, unchanged, untouched by all that happens on the screen, by the projection. Mind projects the Prakrithi on Paramatman and makes us see the world as we see as it is. The moment you shut off our mind, Prakrithi disappears and all that remains is Paramatman. To shut off this mind is the whole Sadhana. That is the whole process. Mind is kind of a curtain between that Atman and us. Everybody sees through this filter of mind. And everybody's mind is different and everybody perceives the world in a different way. For somebody, the world is a great place, for some its miserable, for some its full of love, for others its full of hatred. It's because of the way we perceive. Mind filters all the purity of Paramatman into Prakrithi. And Prakrithi is different for each person. The way we observe Prakrithi is based on our own inner instincts, emotions or Vasanas. This word called 'Vasana' is the the impressions of many births and interactions in this world that we carry. Some carry very good and pure feelings because they have always lived in purity, in good company, done good things. They are born Samaritans. There are people who have carried impressions of the past who had a difficult past in past births. The first impression of them is defense, kind of resistance. If you remove the filter of the mind, the sunlight or the basis is one and the same in everyone. That's what Swami is trying to say, 'We are all One'. Not because of the outer projection but because of the basis of the substratum which is the Paramatman.

This is what I have understood. Hope it makes sense.

La mañana fue un aluvión de actividades mientras el séquito de Swami se preparaba para partir hacia el próximo destino, Kuala Lumpur. Había una cierta oscuridad en el aire, que es el caso cuando es hora de que Swami salga de una ciudad o país en particular. Siempre parece que Swami acaba de llegar, cuando ya es hora de irse. Hubo un breve descanso de 10 minutos, ya que el escenario estaba listo para una breve oferta cultural. Un drama sobre la historia de Lord Subramanya fue escenificado por los niños de Bal Vikas, y fue seguido por una breve presentación en video de las diversas actividades de Seva realizadas en Sai Ananda. Divine Visit - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - January 31 and February 01, 2018.

The morning was a flurry of activities as Swami’s entourage were preparing to leave for the next destination, Kuala Lumpur. There was a certain gloom in the air, which is the case when it is time for Swami to leave from a particular city or country. It always seems that Swami just arrived, when it is already time to leave. After breakfast, Swami emerged from His room, blessed all the devotees who were waiting to seek the Lord’s blessings before His departure. And along with Swami and the entourage a whole host of devotees also accompanied them to the Airport to bid everyone a fond farewell, until the next visit. A short hour and a half flight, and the entourage landed in Kuala Lumpur. The spirited and energetic youth of Sai Ananda eagerly and lovingly received everyone. Wading through the traffic, after more than an hour’s drive, the entourage reached Sai Amrutham, the residence of Brother Ayavoo Arumugam and his devout wife Dr Vimala. Swami manifested outside their home and was welcomed with much devotion and adoration by the couple and more youth from Sai Ananda. After some quick refreshments, Swami and His entourage proceeded to Batu Caves. The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. January 31 was Thaipusam, a festival celebrated with much fervour, as this was the day Lord Shiva from His third eye created His son Subramanya or Murugan. On this day, Mother Parvati gave the Vel or a spear to Murugan to vanquish the Asuras.

The walk to Batu Caves is generally the most popular element of the celebration, during which many devotees carry large milk pots and colourful frames called Kavadi. Special permissions were acquired, and special arrangements were made for Swami and His entourage to witness the celebrations from a viewing deck. After spending some time there, Swami proceeded back to Sai Amrutham, where a small and intimate Satsang was waiting to unfold. It was truly a very beautiful and a memorable evening which will be etched in the memories of all the youth and devotees. Swami beckoned a few youth to speak while revealing intimate details about their life to their pleasant surprise. Three songs, including ‘O Nesthama’ in Telugu was offered by the youth of Sai Ananda at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet. Swami then called Aunty Doshi, an octogenarian, who came to Swami as a young girl of 19 years, to speak. She spoke about how she was inspired to do Seva at that young age, but did not have the means or the money to do anything. So she decided to start donating her blood, as she felt that it could save someone. Swami was very happy with her, and urged all the youth gathered to imbibe life’s most valuable lesson - Seva, from her. Since there were many doctors in the making, Swami commanded Sri C Sreenivas to share his thoughts about the expansion of the medical mission in Malaysia. Swami also shared that very soon there would be a collaboration between the Government of Malaysia and the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals, which will pave way to mend little hearts from Malaysia. Mangala Arati was offered to Swami and dinner Prasadam was served to all. After Swami went to His room which is situated in the first floor, He lovingly sent word for His entourage! When everyone went up, He said “I have brought you here to show you the sacrifice made by My devotees abroad”, and asked them to see His room! He said the couple gave up their master bedroom for Swami and continue to believe in His Presence there every single day. He said “For those who believe Swami is with them, He is very much there. For those who don’t, He is a dream!” A very profound statement ridden with deep meaning!

The next morning, February 01, after breakfast Swami proceeded to bless the Sai Ananda Cafe, a fully vegetarian venture in the Batu Caves area. As Swami arrived, Ganapthi Homa was in progress, and the priests were waiting for Swami’s arrival for the final Purna Ahuti. Proceeds from this new Cafe will go towards the Dialysis Centre at Sai Ananda Medical Centre. The Cafe has messages of Swami everywhere, and posters talking about the Dialysis Centre. After the Homa concluded, Swami walked around and blessed the Cafe profusely. A couple who had given the Cafe to Swami for Seva were blessed, and Swami visited their residence which is right behind the Cafe. Over 50 people had gathered, and Swami entered amidst Bhajans by the Sai Ananda youth. After a few Bhajans, Swami beckoned the daughter of the house, Mathivani to address everyone. She was overcome with emotions as she spoke about her journey and the family’s journey to Swami from the first time they had heard about the Lord. Thereafter, Swami gave them all precious advise on how they run the Cafe. He said, “Annamaya Kosha to Amandamaya Kosha is a journey. Food is a basic necessity. God resides in everyone as hunger and must be appeased. Anandam (bliss) is God’s nature and therefore one must experience that too. The joy that one experiences is truly God. When you eat it’s actually a Yagna. You chant ‘Brahmarpanam’, so the eating, cooking and digesting are all acts of Brahman, and should be considered as a Yagna. 

What Yagna? It is a Bhuta Yagna, offering to beings. At this Sai Ananda Cafe, through food one should reach divine joy. Food should help in purifying thoughts.” Swami also spoke about Patra, Paka and Padhartha Shuddhi - Purity of vessels, cooking process and ingredients. Swami narrated a couple of stories to drive home the point about why it is important to cook with pure thoughts, as the thought enters the food, and therefore the head (mind) of the person who is eating. Lunch was served to Swami and all the devotees. Thereafter, Swami blessed the textile and daily necessity store of the family, before departing for Sai Amrutham.

In the evening, a little after 5 p.m., Swami proceeded to Sai Aananda for the Public Satsang. As He alighted from His car, Swami first went to the Dialysis Centre to officiate the commencement of operations, as the official permissions and license to operate was just received from the Ministry of Health. With six machines, a couple of full-time staff and visiting Doctors, the Centre will provide Dialysis care to the needy absolutely free-of-cost. After blessings the patients and staff, Swami proceeded to the Bhajan Hall for the Satsang. The place was over flowing with devotees who had gathered from various parts of Malaysia and other neighbouring countries. Sri Ravi Nayar, Chairman of the Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia welcomed Bhagawan and placed his immense gratitude at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet for blessing everyone with a prayer to make visiting Malaysia a habit! Three Doctors spoke next, and explained the various facets of the Sai Ananda Medicare in Malaysia. An amazing aspect was that all these three youth were Bal Vikas students and had the urge to serve in Swami’s mission. Thereafter, Dr Vimala presented a short update on the various aspects of Ananda Cares and also about the Sai Ananda Cafe.

Swami then beckoned Mr Isaac Tigrett, Sri C Sreenivas and Sri B N Narasimha Murthy to speak. They fell short of words after seeing all the wonderful work which is being done at Sai Ananda, and congratulated all on the various Seva activities which are being consistently carried out for the last three decades! Swami in His very short speech started with a verse - “The whole world is under the influence and control of God. This God or divinity is subjected to truth. However, truth itself is governed by good people. Hence, noble people are greater than God.” Swami went on say that noble people are even greater than God, for in every good there is God. ‘Keep doing good day and night, and always remember what is real and unreal’, said Adi Shakaracharya. “To be close to God, you need to keep doing good. You are born to serve. ‘Paropakarartham Idham Shareeram’ - This body has been given only to serve. In the word ‘Paropakarartham’, there is Para (God) + Upa (Near) + Kara (To Do). This word is usually understood as service, but it carries a deeper inner meaning as that which brings us closer to God and brings God closer to us.

For those who have faith everything is possible. Truth is that, ‘God is possible’. If God is, everything is! There is nothing that God cannot achieve. Have faith in God, and greater faith in good and keep working, definitely everything is possible.”

There was a short break of 10 minutes, as the stage was set for a short cultural offering. A drama on the story of Lord Subramanya was staged by the Bal Vikas children, and it was followed by a short video presentation of the various Seva activities undertaken at Sai Ananda. Mangala Arati was offered to Bhagawan, and then the Lord walked towards the food area in the ground floor and blessed all the food counters displaying a delectable spread of South Indian and Malaysian cuisine, which has now become a customary tradition after every Satsang. Swami then returned to Sai Amrutham for dinner, and the entourage packed to leave very early the next morning to Singapore.

COMIENZO DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN - SRI SATHYA SAI SANJEEVANI, CENTRO DE ATENCIÓN Y ENTRENAMIENTO DEL CORAZÓN INFANTIL EN LAS HABILIDADES DEL CUIDADO CARDIACO PEDIÁTRICO - NAVI MUMBAI   , 22 DE ENERO, 2018  Swami hizo una visita especial a Mumbai el lunes 22 de enero, que resultó ser Vasanth Panchami, para el Comienzo de la Construcción del próximo Hospital - Centro Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani de Cuidados del Corazón Infantil y Entrenamiento en Habilidades en el Cuidado del Corazón Pediátrico, en Kharghar en Navi Mumbai.  El equipo central, junto con los contratistas se habían reunido en el sitio donde se realizó la Puja para que comenzara la construcción. Se levantó un dosel pequeño y después de la Puja , donde se le ofreció agua, leche, Kumkum , cúrcuma, lentejas, etc. a la Madre Tierra, todos se reunieron para un breve Satsang . Swami primero ordenó a Sri C Sreenivas que hablara, quien agradeció a su equipo profusamente. Swami luego bendijo a todos con Su Mensaje Divino.  "Hoy es Vasanta Panchami. Todo lo que hagan es auspicioso. Todo el tiempo propicio, comienza a partir de hoy. Y esto es lo más auspicioso que pueden hacer cuando piensan en vivir una vida por los demás, no puede haber una forma más propicia de Vivir la propia vida".  De nuestro egoísmo Svartha nos elevamos a Parartha, por el bien de los demás, y de Parartha nos elevamos al nivel de Paramartha - Divinidad. Ese es el viaje de este hospital, ese es el viaje de todos los asociados con el hospital . No se trata de uno o dos, sino la historia de todos debería ser la misma.  De Svartha a Parartha , de Parartha a Paramartha es la forma en que este hospital llevará a todos.  El corazón de uno debe derretirse con compasión ante el dolor de los demás, el ser debe temblar y estremecerse cuando ve las dificultades de los demás, el corazón debe entregarse por completo y las manos deben seguir al corazón al servir a los demás cuando existe una necesidad.  Ese es el ideal, ese es el ejemplo de como este hospital debe servir. Está diseñado con la forma de un corazón. No solo porque es un hospital del corazón. Sino porque es un hospital con un corazón. Este corazón, Hrudaya es ese que tiene compasión. Lo que tiene compasión ese es el corazón; el resto no es corazón en absoluto. El resto es solo artificial. Pero este corazón realmente debería ser el corazón de la humanidad. Debe latir para servir a los demás, amar a los demás, cuidar a los demás.  Cada persona que entre a los portales de este Instituto con dolor, con sufrimiento, con ansiedad, con miedo al futuro debe salir confiada, impregnada del amor de Dios, impregnada de la divinidad de Dios, con la confianza de Dios en su propio corazón. Y así es como el mundo se transformará. Los niños que son operados aquí, irán por ahí golpeando su pecho con orgullo de haber sido salvados por Dios, haber sido tocados por Dios, haber sido cambiados por Dios y llevarán el mensaje de Dios, la fe en Dios, el amor por Dios para el resto de la humanidad ". Swami también bendijo al Hospital al decir que los Hospitales  Sanjeevani serán una de las cadenas de cuidado de la salud más grandes del mundo, absolutamente gratuitas para el cuidado cardíaco pediátrico y absolutamente nobles en su empeño: ¡el más grande! Los médicos de todo el mundo contribuirán al desarrollo de nuevas técnicas y nuevas formas de encontrar soluciones.  Swami también narró una historia de John F. Kennedy, quien fue a la estación espacial y le preguntó al hombre del ascensor, "¿Qué estás haciendo aquí?" El ascensorista dijo: "Estoy poniendo a un hombre en la luna". Esa es la respuesta. Él no dijo: "Soy un ascensorista, soy un barrendero, soy un vigilante".  Swami dijo: "Del mismo modo, ¿qué están haciendo aquí? No están construyendo un hospital, no construyen otra estructura de concreto, no desarrollan alguna otra infraestructura. Lo que estamos haciendo aquí es salvar a niños, que son el regalo de Dios para la humanidad. Estamos aquí para salvar a esos niños, no solo para construir un hospital, limpiar caminos, trabajar ... todo esto es secundario. Cada persona del hospital debe hablar el mismo idioma con la misma confianza. "¿Qué están haciendo aquí?""Estoy haciendo cuentas, soy médico, soy un barrendero, soy un contratista, soy un gerente". ¡Esa no es la respuesta! "¿Qué están haciendo aquí? "Estoy aquí para salvar a otro niño que es un regalo de Dios para nuestra humanidad. Por eso estoy aquí para salvar a un niño". In this issue, we present you a report on Bhagawan's visit to Navi Mumbai for the construction commencement of Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre For Child Heart Care & Training in Pediatric Heart Care Skills on January 22, 2018.  In this week's INNER VIEW, Brother Madhusudan Naidu shares an interesting moment which happened between the Lord and a student. - Sathya Sai Grama Communications Team.  INNER VIEW By Sri Madhusudan Naidu Car Is Getting Older!  As an elderly devotee suffering with body aches, rose to pray to Swami in the Darshan that he be cured of his pains, Swami smiled and said, “Old car Sir! Maintenance issues.” Then He turned towards the boys and said, “Body is the car, Mind is the driver, Atma is the Master who travels. While the car is still new cover as much distance as possible, for once it gets old it will not move fast. Therefore, I say, start early, drive slowly and reach safely.” I was reminded of what Swami told during the inaugural address of Centre for Human Excellence for Boys in Muddenahalli. “My body had become too weak and old, so I gave up the old car for a new one as I do not have any attachment to the body. Now I can travel much faster. The path and the goal remain the same, the vehicle alone has changed. You can also give up the old car if you wish, but you won’t, as you are attached to the body.” That set me thinking that my car is definitely getting older by the day, my driver at times does not listen to me and wastes the fuel riding on the wrong roads and still I have a long distance to cover. In Robert frost’s word, ‘Woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.’ COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION - SRI SATHYA SAI SANJEEVANI CENTRE FOR CHILD HEART CARE & TRAINING IN PEDIATRIC HEART CARE SKILLS - NAVI MUMBAI  JANUARY 22, 2018  Swami made a special visit to Mumbai on Monday, January 22, which happened to be Vasanth Panchami, for the Commencement of Construction at the site of the upcoming Hospital - Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre for Child Heart Care & Training in Pediatric Heart Care Skills at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. The core team, along with the contractors had gathered at the site where the Puja was performed for the construction to begin. A small canopy was erected and after the Puja - where water, milk, Kumkum, turmeric, lentils, etc were offered to Mother Earth, after which everyone gathered for a short Satsang. Swami first commanded Sri C Sreenivas to speak, who thanked his team profusely. Swami then blessed everyone with His divine message. "Today is Vasanta Panchami. Anything that you do is auspicious. All auspicious time begins from today. And this is the most auspicious thing that you can do when you think of living your life for others' sake, there cannot be more auspicious way of living one's life. From our selfishness - Svartha to Parartha - for the sake of others, and from Parartha, we rise to the level of Paramartha - Divinity. That is the journey of this hospital, that is the journey of everyone associated with the hospital. It is not about one or two but everyone's story should be the same. From Svartha to Parartha, from Parartha to Paramartha is the way this hospital which will take everyone forward. One's heart should melt with compassion at the pain of others, one's being should shiver and shake when they see the difficulties of others, one's heart should totally go out and hands should follow the heart in serving others when there is a need. That is the ideal, that is the example this hospital is supposed to serve. It is designed in the shape of the heart. Not just because it is a heart hospital. Because it is a hospital with a heart. This heart, Hrudaya is that which has compassion. What has compassion in it, that alone is heart; rest is not heart at all. Rest is only art - artificial. But this heart should really be the heart of humanity. It should beat for the sake of serving others, loving others, caring for others. Every person who walks into the portals of this Institute with pain, with suffering, with anxiety, with fear of the future should go out confident, suffused with love of God, suffused with the divinity of God, confidence of God in his own heart. And that is how the world will be transformed. The children who get operated from here, will go around beating their chest with pride that they have been saved by God, they have been touched by God, they have been changed by God and they will carry  the message of God, faith in God, love for God to the rest of the humanity." Swami also blessed the Hospital by saying that the Sanjeevani Hospitals will be one of the world's largest healthcare chain, absolutely free for paediatric cardiac care and absolutely noble in its endeavour - the largest! Doctors from around the world will contribute to the development of new techniques, and new ways of finding solutions. Swami also narrated a story of John F. Kennedy, who went to the space station and asked the lift man, "What are you doing here?" The lift man said, "I am putting a man on the moon." That is the answer. He didn't say, "I am a lift worker, I am a sweeper, I am a watchman." Swami said, "Likewise, what are you doing here? Not building a hospital, not building another concrete structure, not developing some other infrastructure. What we are doing - we are here to save another child who is the gift of God to the humanity. We are here to save that child - not just build hospital, clean roads, clean...all this is secondary. Every single person of the hospital should speak the same language with the same confidence. 'What are you doing here?' 'I am doing accounts, I am doctor, I am a sweeper, I am a contractor, I am a manager.' That is not the answer!
