Pregunta: (un devoto pregunta al hermano Madhu) ' con toda la proximidad e interacciones, cuál es tu entendimiento de Swami.? Una vez te dijo que es el emperador de Brahma Loka! '

Respuesta: No sé sobre Brahma Loka. ¡No se sobre los lokas! Solo sé que Swami es amor. Voy a repetir esto de nuevo, ¡Él es amor puro!

En el Reino Unido, después del satsang, un niño pequeño se levantó y me hizo una pregunta muy interesante. Él realmente me preguntó '¿Cómo te sientes siendo Sai Baba?'. Porque el niño entendió que no soy Sai Baba, pero que me siento como Sai Baba. Fui sorprendido. ¿Cómo responder a esta pregunta? Pero entonces Swami vino a mi rescate y respondió: "¿Qué es Sai Baba? Sai Baba es Amor, Sai Baba es Compasión. Entonces, si sientes amor y compasión, te sientes Sai Baba ". Esto es todo lo que he entendido. Todas estas otras cosas están todas en la mente; lokas, dimensiones, experiencias extracorpóreas! Todo en la mente,  no es el corazón. El corazón es mucho más profundo y poderoso, y la mejor parte es que no es complicado.

Todo el tiempo nos quedamos atrapados en estas cosas fantásticas. '¿Sabes que? Experimenté esto, lo experimenté. Fui a meditar aquí, allá y en todas partes '. Pero si no sentimos el amor al final de todo, ¿cuál es el uso? Al final de todas estos sadhanas, si no hay amor en nuestros corazones por nuestros semejantes, entonces todo es un desperdicio.

¡Amor puro! Eso es lo que Swami sigue diciendo. Eso es exactamente lo que es Swami. Siempre supe que era amor, pero ahora también lo experimento como amor, por lo que ahora me confirman que Él es amor y nada más. 
Y lo veo hacer esto todo el tiempo. Es muy redentor . Estoy seguro de que todos han experimentado este amor. Cuando amas a alguien desinteresadamente, esa debe ser la experiencia más maravillosa que hayas tenido. Tenía todas estas experiencias como kundalini, trances, yendo a otros mundos y viendo tantos seres extraños. He analizado todas estas cosas, y ahora le digo a Swami: 'No quiero ver todas estas cosas. ¡Ahórrame todo este drama! "Si deseas otorgarme algo, entonces dame esa pureza y amor que tienes. Esa es Su propiedad que sólo Èl puede dar. Todas las demás cosas, podemos lograrlas por nuestro propio esfuerzo. Pero este amor y compasión no es posible de alcanzar aunque me cuelgue boca abajo o vaya a los picos del Himalaya. Sé que no es posible. 

'Puedes darmelo; está en Tu bolsillo! Solo tómalo y ponlo en mi bolsillo, es tan simple como eso para ti, si así lo decides.

Swami dice: 'Si vas al médico ayurvédico, te tratará con medicinas Ayurvedicas. Si acudes a un médico alopático, lo tratará con medicinas alopáticas; ¡médico homeópata, homeopatía! "El tipo de médico al que acudes te tratará con sus medicamentos. Del mismo modo, si vienes a Mí, mi medicina "Mi camino a Dios es Amor y Servicio. Mi camino hacia Dios no es Gnana Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Hatha Yoga y todas estas cosas. Mi camino es Amor y Servicio, que es la esencia y el fin de todo lo que hacemos '. Entonces, Él lo hace muy simple.

Recientemente, intentábamos averiguar qué significa la Ciencia Védica para nuestro programa de estudios de la Universidad. Tuve una interacción con alguien que estaba bastante emocionado al respecto. Él me contó todo sobre Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, todo tipo de planes de estudio de Yoga. 

Pero le dije, 'No.., por favor no te confundas. Todo esto es bueno, pero esto no es lo que Swami quiere. Swami quiere enseñar lo que los Vedas nos enseñan acerca de nuestra divinidad y cómo podemos lograr eso a través de la pureza. 

Por favor, háblame de estas cosas. Esa es la verdadera ciencia de los Vedas '. 

Inicialmente no podía entender lo que estaba tratando de transmitirle, pero finalmente lo entendió. 'Sí.., lo que dices es correcto. Swami nos dice todo el tiempo que el amor y el servicio es lo más importante '.

Es por eso que hay muy pocos seguidores de la filosofía de Swami. Ves hordas de personas siguiendo a muchos otros maestros y gurús espirituales, porque todos ellos emocionan la mente con todo tipo de experiencias. 

Pero Swami dice, 'No.., deja la mente de lado. Es el corazón en el que debes trabajar ". Vayamos a lo básico. Comienza amando a todos, comienza a sirviendo a todos. Sé desinteresado, sacrificado. Eso es. 

Pero estamos felices de dar unos miles de rupias por un taller de 10 días, con instalaciones mínimas, una vida minimalista, comida sátvica, ropa orgánica y todo eso. ¡Todos estamos bien porque es fácil de hacer, diez días de espiritualidad al año, por un precio pequeño! 

Pero aquí no hay precio, ni sesiones, ni andar por ahí y hacer esto o aquello. Simplemente ama a todos y sirve a todos. Eso parece muy difícil.?, ¡pero eso es crucial.! 

Entonces, le pedí a Swami que me diera eso. Todo lo demás está bien; todas estas experiencias son distracciones en el camino. 

El verdadero camino es este, amar a todos y servir a todos.

Swami dice: " lo que sea que pidas, te lo daré. Yo soy el kalpavriksha, el árbol que satisface los deseos. Pero tienes que merecerlo. Tienes que poner un poco de esfuerzo. La vasija debe ser horneada y lo suficientemente fuerte como para sostener el agua.

Entonces Él espera eso. Esa es mi comprensión de Swami; ¡Amor puro, compasión absoluta! 

Y no hay nada más para definirlo. Esa es la mejor manera. Prema Swaroopa (Encarnación del Amor), Karunakarudai (Compasión Absoluta personificada)!

"Swami is pure love, absolute compassion! And there is nothing else to define Him."

Question: (A devotee asks Brother Madhu) ‘With all the proximity and interactions, what is your understanding of Swami? Once He told you He is the emperor of Brahma Loka!'

Answer: I don’t know about Brahma Loka. I know no lokas! I only know that Swami is love. I will repeat this again, He is pure love!

In UK, after the satsang, a small boy got up and asked a very interesting question. He actually asked me ‘How do you feel being Sai Baba?’, because the boy understood that I am not Sai Baba but I feel being Sai Baba. I was taken aback. How do you answer this question? But then Swami came to my rescue and replied, “What is Sai Baba? Sai Baba is Love, Sai Baba is Compassion. So if you feel love and compassion, you feel Sai Baba”. This is all that I have understood. All these other things are all in the mind; lokas, dimensions, extracorporeal experiences! All in the mind, it is still not the heart. Heart is far deeper and powerful, and the best part is, it’s not complicated!

All the time we get stuck in these fanciful things. ‘You know what? I experienced this, I experienced that. I went for meditation here, there and everywhere’. But if we don’t feel the love at the end of it all then what is the use? At the end of all these sadhanas, if there’s no love in our hearts for our fellow beings, then it’s all a waste.

Pure Love! That is what Swami keeps saying. That is exactly what Swami is. I always knew He was love but now I experience Him also as love, so it’s confirmed to me now beyond doubt that He is love and nothing else. And I see Him do this all the time. It is very redeeming. I am sure everybody has experienced this love. When you love somebody selflessly, that must be the most wonderful experience you have ever had. I had all these experiences like Kundalini, Trance, going away into other worlds and seeing so many strange beings. I have gone through all these things to the extent that now I tell Swami, ‘I don’t want to see all these things. Spare me all this drama!’ If you wish to grant me something, then give me that purity and love which You have. That is Your property that You alone can give. All other things, we can attain by ourselves through some effort. But this love and compassion is not possible to attain even if I hang upside down or go to Himalayan peaks. I know it’s not possible. ‘You can give me; it’s in Your pocket! Just take it and put it in my pocket, it’s as simple as that for You, if You decide.’

Swami says, ‘If you go to Ayurvedic doctor, He will treat you with Ayurveda. If you go to Allopathic doctor, He will treat you with Allopathy; homeopathic doctor, homeopathy!’ The kind of doctor you go to will treat you to his medicines. Likewise, if you come to Me, ‘My way to God is Love and Service. My way to God is not Gnana Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Hatha Yoga and all these things. My way is Love and Service, which is the essence and end of all that we do’. So, He makes it very simple.

Recently, we were trying to see what Vedic Science would mean for our University syllabus. I had an interaction with somebody who was quite excited about it. He told me all about Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, all kinds of Yoga syllabuses. But I told him, ‘No, please don’t confuse it all. All this is nice but this is not what Swami wants. Swami wants to teach as to how Vedas teach us about our divinity and how we can attain that through purity. Please tell me about these things. That is the real science of Vedas’. He could not understand initially about what I was trying to convey but eventually he understood. ‘Yes, what you are saying is right. Swami is telling us all the time that love and service is most important’.

That’s why there are very few takers for Swami’s philosophy. You see hordes of people following lot of other spiritual masters and gurus, because they are all exciting the mind with all kinds of experiences. But Swami says, ‘No, keep the mind aside. It’s the heart that you must work on’. Let’s get down to the basics. Start loving everyone, start serving everyone. Become selfless, do sacrifice. That’s it. But we are happy giving a few thousand rupees for a 10 day workshop, with very bare minimum facility, minimalistic living, sattvic food, organic clothing and all that. Everything we are okay with because it’s easy to do, ten days of spirituality a year, for a small price! But here there is no price, no sessions, no hanging around and doing this or that. Simply just love everybody and serve everybody. That seems so difficult, but that is crux of it all! So, I asked Swami to give me that. Everything else is okay; all these experiences are distractions on the way. Real path is this.

Swami says ‘Whatever you ask, I will give you. I am the Kalpavriksha, the wish-fulfilling tree. But you have to deserve it. You have to put some effort. The pot should be baked and strong enough to hold the water’.

So He has to wait for that. That is what my understanding of Swami is; pure love, absolute compassion! And there is nothing else to define Him. That is the best way. Prema Swaroopa (Embodiment of Love), Karunakarudai (Absolute Compassion personified)!

"Nunca sabremos si volverá a visitarnos pronto y nos explicará más. Puede ser solo la última vez que nos haya instruido, ¡por eso es importante seguir sus instrucciones al pie de la letra!

Un día, un devoto vino y dijo: '¡Swami! Mi hija está muy molesta contigo. Eso no es nuevo para Swami. La gente se molesta con Èl por alguna razón u otra. Entonces Swami preguntó qué había pasado. El devoto dijo: "Le dijiste que si ella regresaba a su país de origen, se casaría con la persona con quien deseaba casarse. Entonces ella regresó, pero esa persona no parece interesada en casarse con ella. ¡Así que está muy molesta! "Swami le preguntó al padre:" ¿Cuándo le dije que volviera y cuándo se fue ? "Swami le había dicho que se fuera en un momento determinado, pero ella regresó antes, esperando adelantar el hecho, y quizás en el afán de acelerarlo, las cosas salieron un poco mal. Swami explicó: "Si le digo que tome el tren de las cinco en punto para que pueda llegar a su destino a las seis, y llega tarde a la estación, pierde el tren y toma otro tren, cómo va a llegar al destino  ¿A las seis en punto, como se pretendía? ¡Pierdes el tren y luego te quejas de que mi palabra falló.! Eso es porque no siguió las indicaciones en su totalidad. Al no haber seguido mis instrucciones por completo, no vengas y me digas después que el resultado de lo que dije no era el esperado, ¡porque en primer lugar no hiciste lo que te dije que hicieras!

Es por eso que voy a repetir por qué es importante seguir sus instrucciones al pie de la letra ! En primer lugar, Èl nos ha dado su tiempo, su compasión, y su amor; para guiarnos y decirnos qué tenemos que hacer algo, que nos llevará a la verdad, lo que nos va a redimir. Eso es lo que nos hará como Èl. Luego retorcemos, giramos, malinterpretamos, y confundimos todo el proceso. Así no vamos a llegar a Él de esta manera.

He visto esto suceder muchas veces. Más tarde, cuando decimos: "No nos pasó nada muy bueno estando con Swami, escuchándolo, entonces solo debemos mirar hacia dónde es qué nos perdimos, por lo que no sucedió lo que se suponía que sucedería". .

A medida que las cosas vayan creciendo, todos no obtendrán el mismo tipo de oportunidades, la misma cantidad de tiempo de Swami, la misma cantidad de atención, la misma cantidad de instrucciones.

Sucedió allí en Puttaparthi cuando también estaba en Su forma física. Hubo momentos iniciales en que Swami literalmente no tenía proyectos que hacer y tenía todo su tiempo para sus devotos. Luego llegaron momentos en que los mismos devotos que tenían todo el tiempo de Swami para sí mismos, ni siquiera podían verlo porque estaba muy lejos de ellos y estaba muy ocupado. Lo mismo está sucediendo ahora.

La mirada misericordiosa de Swami cayó sobre nosotros un día, nos consideró dignos de sus instrucciones y nos dio cosas particulares que hacer. Deberíamos ser felices y atenernos a eso. Y seguir haciéndolo hasta que quede en nosotros fijo, sin cambios. Nunca sabemos si volverá a visitarnos pronto y nos explicará más cosas. Puede ser solo la última vez que nos haya instruido. Después de eso, si no seguimos esas instrucciones, nos confundimos. 
Él es un río, Él seguirá fluyendo. Nos corresponde a nosotros beber y saciar nuestra sed. Èl no para. Èl más allá de eso, no puede hacer nada. Él dijo muchas veces: 
'He dado un poco de voluntad a todos en el esquema de las cosas. Puedes usar el libre albedrío de la forma que quieras. O puedes devolvermelo a Mí diciendo, es todo tuyo. No sé cómo usar mi libre albedrío sabiamente. Mejor toma todos los deseos y decide por mí, lo que tengo que hacer '.

Veo a los niños en las escuelas, a veces tan tensos a tan tierna edad, a partir de qué asignatura tomar, qué curso seguir, a qué universidad unirse, y finalmente, qué oferta de trabajo tomar de una empresa, en qué ciudad vivir y con qué chica casarse, hay tantas decisiones que uno debe tomar en la vida. 
Pero aquí lo hacen muy fácil. Nuestros niños tienen algunas fichas y opciones de darshan y le piden a Swami que elija cualquiera, luego Swami las elige y les dice qué hacer. Y ellos ciegamente lo hacen. La tensión, la ansiedad, las preocupaciones todo se acabó en un santiamén. Están tan seguros de que cualquier cosa elegida por Swami es lo correcto.

A veces le dice a algun joven, entre estas dos chicas, que dejen a una, y se casen con la otra chica. Él sabe exactamente qué va a salir del matrimonio. 
Pero pensamos '¡pero esa chica era la más hermosa!'. Eso es porque venimos con nuestra propia cabeza pre-condicionada, con nuestras propias expectativas. La mayoría de las veces, veo que las personas quieren que Swami simplemente confirme lo que quieren hacer, todo lo que quieren es solo una confirmación divina. Y así sentirse seguros. Pero si no hemos venido sinceramente a Swami, para que Èl tome una decisión por nosotros, entonces cuando Èl decida de otra manera, o haga o diga algo que es totalmente diferente de lo que realmente queríamos que suceda, entonces estamos confundidos. Al siguiente darshan, ni siquiera nos posicionamos cerca porque podría preguntar si hicimos lo que dijo. Somos como, '¡No! No quiero tratar con Èl nunca más. ¡Él no podría estar en lo cierto!

Veo que esto sucede a menudo.

Inicialmente, él me dijo que hiciera varias cosas, fuera de mi zona de confort, por lo que me resultó muy difícil. Pero insistiría en que lo haga, afortunadamente, me siento tan honrado porque insistió y persistió en que me callara y siguiera y no utilizara mi propio cerebro. Me dijo muchas veces: 'Cállate y hazlo'. Así que simplemente me callaba y hacía lo que quería y lo que fuera que saliera de eso; bueno, malo o feo, se lo dejé a Èl.

“We never know if He will revisit us any soon and explain to us any further. It might be just the last time He has instructed us, which is why it’s important to follow His instructions to the T!”

One day, a devotee came and said, ‘Swami! My daughter is very upset with You’. That’s not new to Swami. People are upset with Him for some reason or the other. So Swami asked as to what had happened. The devotee said, ‘You told her if she comes back to home country, she would get married to the person whom she wants to get married to. So She has come back, but that person does not seem to be interested in getting married to her. So she is very upset!’ Swami asked the parent, ‘When did I tell her to come back and when did she come?’ Swami had told her to come at a certain time but she came back earlier hoping to have it done earlier, and perhaps in the eagerness of making it quicker, things went a bit awry. Swami explained, ‘ If I tell you to catch the five o’ clock train so that you can reach your destination by six, and you reach station late, miss the train and take another train instead, how are you going to reach the destination at six o’ clock, as intended? You miss the train and then you complain that My word has failed! That is because you did not follow it in its entirety. Having not followed my instructions entirely, you don’t come and tell me later that the outcome of what I said was not the same, because in the first place you did not do what I told you to do!’

That’s why I’m going on repeating as to why it’s important to follow His instructions to the T! First of all He has taken His time, His compassion, His love; to guide us and tell us that we need to do somethings which will take us to the truth, which will redeem us. That is what will make us like Him. Then we twist, turn, misinterpret, confuse ourselves and confuse everybody else in the process. We are not going to reach Him this way.

I have seen this happening any number of times. Later when we say, ‘Nothing much good happened to us by being with Swami, listening to Him, then we are only to look within as to where, what we missed, because of which it did not happen the way it was supposed to happen.

As the things are growing, everybody is not going to get the same kind of opportunities, the same amount of time from Swami, the same amount of attention, the same amount of instructions.

It happened there in Puttaparthi when He was in the physical form too. There were initial times when Swami had literally no projects to do and He had all His time to His devotees. Then there came times when the same devotees who had all of Swami’s time to themselves, could not even see Him because He was so far from them and was so busy. Same thing is happening here.

Swami’s merciful glance fell on us someday, He considered us worthy of His instructions and gave us particular things to do. We should be happy and just stick to it. And keep doing it till it lies in us, without changing it. We never know if He will revisit us any soon and explain to us any further. It might be just the last time He has instructed us. After that, if we don’t follow that instruction, we will confuse ourselves. He is a river, He will keep flowing. It is for us to drink and quench our thirst. Not for Him. Beyond that, He cannot do anything. He told many times, ‘I have given some free will to everyone in the scheme of things. You can use the free will the way you want. Or you can surrender it back to Me saying, it’s all Yours. I don’t know how to use My free will wisely. Better you have all the will and decide for me what I need to do’.

I see the children in schools, sometimes so tensed at such a tender age, starting from which subject to take, which course to pursue, which college to join and eventually which company’s job offer to take, which city to live in and which girl to marry, there are so many decisions one has to make in life. But here He makes it so easy. Our children hold a few chits with options in darshan and ask Swami to pick any, then Swami picks and tells them what to do. And they blindly do it. Tension, anxiety, worries everything is over in a jiffy. They are so sure that anything chosen by Swami is the right thing to do.

Sometimes He tells some youth, between these two girls, leave this girl, marry the other girl. He knows exactly what is going to come out of the marriage. But we are like, ‘Oh but that girl was the more beautiful one!!’, because, we come with our own preconditioned head, our own expectations. Most of the times, I see people want Swami to just confirm whatever they want to do, all they want is just a divine under writing. And they feel assured. But if we have not come sincerely to Swami, for Him to take a decision for us, then when He decides the other way or He does or says something which is totally different from what we really wanted to happen, then we are confused. Next darshan, we are not even around because He might enquire if we did what He said. We are like, ‘No! I don’t want to deal with Him anymore. He couldn’t be right!!

I see this happening often.

Initially, He told me to do several things, out of my comfort zone and so I found it very difficult. But He would insist upon me doing it nevertheless, fortunately, I feel so honoured because He insisted and persisted for me to just shut up and follow and not to use my own brains. He told me many times, ‘Shut up and do’. So I would just shut up and do what He wanted and whatever came out of it; good, bad or ugly, I left it to Him.
