" Sí, todos ustedes me aman, pero la cosa es que ustedes también aman el mundo.! Ahí es donde está el problema. Cuando me amas exclusivamente, con exclusión de todo lo demás, entonces me amas de verdad."
Cuando alguien de la audiencia preguntó a Sri Madhusudan Naidu cuál era la calificación para estar con Dios, respondió así.
Cuando le pregunté a Swami por qué me había elegido a mí y no a otro, su respuesta fue 'No te elegí, tú me elegiste'. Definitivamente, no estoy calificado para este trabajo. Por supuesto, mis calificaciones académicas no tienen consecuencias aquí. La única calificación que puedo pensar es en el poco amor que tengo por Swami. Creo que la única calificación con Swami, que le importa a cualquiera en la misión de Swami, es el amor por él.
Una vez, cuando los estudiantes dijeron: "Swami, todos te amamos". Él dijo, sí, todos ustedes me aman, ¡pero también aman el mundo! Cuando me amas exclusivamente, excluyendo todo lo demás, entonces realmente me amas. Esa es la calificación para estar con Swami. Definitivamente por cualquier otro medio en términos de pureza, castidad, sacrificio, desinterés, como sea que lo llames, no estoy calificado. Entonces, soy poco calificado, pero empleado con Dios, porque quería estar con Dios. Esa era una cosa que siempre estaba en mi mente. Él está conmigo, eso es todo lo que puedo decir.
Una vez fuera de mi ego, le dije a Swami. "¡He sacrificado tanto por ti, Swami!" Y casi sorprendido, dijo: "¿Qué ?!" ¿Te sacrificaste por mí? Soy Yo quien se ha sacrificado por ti. Entonces me sorprendí, en cuanto a lo que sacrificó por mí. Pensé que renuncié a mi trabajo, no continué con mi vida en la ciudad, ya no puedo ver mis películas, no puedo ir a los centros comerciales, comer comida basura, así que pensé que había sacrificado mucho. "No, soy Yo quien ha sacrificado mucho por ti", dijo.
Le pregunté cómo? Y luego Él respondió: "Mira, eres un mal instrumento, y sin embargo, te estoy utilizando por mi misericordia. Es tan difícil trabajar con un bisturí malo para un cirujano, si el bisturí es contundente o esta torcido, es difícil hacer la cirugía. Sin embargo, puedo hacer la cirugía para salvar a los pacientes, lo que significa que es Mi habilidad, no su perfección ".
Hoy, cuando miro hacia atrás, definitivamente puedo decir que Èl sólo se ha sacrificado. De verdad, soporta a todos, incluyéndome a mí. Son sus habilidades maestras las que hacen que las cosas ocurran a pesar de nuestras locuras y defectos.

"Yes, you all love Me, but the thing is you love the world also! That is where the problem is. When you love Me exclusively, to the exclusion of everything else, then you truly love Me."
When Sri Madhusudan Naidu was asked by someone in the audience what was the qualification to be with God, he replied thus.
When I asked Swami why He had chosen me and not anybody else, His reply was ‘I did not choose you, you chose Me.’ Definitely, I am not qualified for this job. Of course, my academic qualifications are of no consequences over here. The only qualification I can think of is the little bit of love that I have for Swami. I think the only qualification with Swami which matters to anybody in Swami’s mission is the love for Him.
Once when the students said, “Swami, we all love you”. He said, yes you all love Me, but the thing is you love the world also! When you love Me exclusively, to the exclusion of everything else, then you truly love Me. That is the qualification to be with Swami. Definitely by any other means in terms of purity, chastity, sacrifice, selflessness, whatever you call it, I am not qualified. So, I am kind of an unqualified but employed with God because I wanted to be with God. That was one thing which was always on top of my mind. He is bearing with me, that’s all I can say.
Once out of my ego I told Swami. “I have sacrificed so much for You, Swami!” And almost surprised, He said, “What?!” You sacrificed for Me? It’s I who has sacrificed for you. Then I was surprised, as to what did He sacrifice for me. I thought that I gave up my job, I did not go on with my city life, I can’t watch my movies anymore, can’t go to malls, eat all the junk, so I thought I sacrificed a lot. “No, it’s I who has sacrificed a lot for you”, He said. I asked Him how? And then He replied, “See you are a bad instrument and yet I am using you out of my mercy. It is so difficult to work with a bad knife for a surgeon, if the knife is blunt or crooked, it’s difficult to do the surgery. Yet, I am able to do the surgery to save the patients, which means it’s My skill, not your perfection.”
Today, when I look back I can definitely say, He has only sacrificed. Truly, He bears with everyone including me. It is His master skills that are making things happen despite our follies and shortcomings.
