AÑO NUEVO CHINO 2013 en Puttaparthi, por R. Sathis Naik.

Om Sai Sairam querida familia:
Enfriando la temperatura caliente que había sido algo molesta para los habitantes de Puttaparthi, una lluvia sorpresiva dio la bienvenida al Año Nuevo chino.
Puttaparthi, según la leyenda, estaba lleno de hormigueros que las cobras mortales invadían, para hacer de ellos su residencia; un buen número de devotos chinos procedentes de países del sudeste asiático llegaron hasta la Morada Santa para celebrar el Año de la SERPIENTE en Puttaparthi que solía estar lleno de hormigueros.
Muy por casualidad, tuve un sueño, en el que muchas serpientes me perseguían . A pesar de que sonaba poco auspicioso y daba un poco de miedo soñar con serpientes, supongo que significaba la celebración del año nuevo chino en Su Morada.
Había una enorme pancarta colgada en el centro que decía HOPE (Cumple con los padres todos los días), el tema elegido para este nuevo año.
Después del Rudram cantando por el grupo, Mr.Billy se dirigió a la reunión haciendo hincapié en la importancia de honrar a sus propios parientes. Para esta ocasión, se pidió al Presidente regional un trabajo muy duro, el Dr. Ravindran devoto ofreció un libro a los Pies de Loto de nuestro amado Señor, que tuviera las enseñanzas de Bhagavan, de sus discursos, que destacara el respeto a los mayores y los padres.
Más tarde, el grupo de devotos hizo algunas bellas canciones en chino e Inglés. la guinda del pastel y una gran sorpresa para los devotos de habla telugu particularmente, fue que un hermano chino cantó "Rama Ninnu Nammina" (O Rama he puesto mi confianza en Ti ), una canción compuesta por San Tyagaraja en Telugu, y una de las canciones más populares presentadas por los estudiantes de música clásica.

A pesar de que este hermano Sai era de origen chino, no mostró ningún rastro de acento chino en su canto. Si Swami hubiese estado allí físicamente, este hermano Sai habría, sin duda, sido bendecido con un don divino de la tienda de joyería Divina!
Cuando todo esto estaba ocurriendo, yo vivía una situación muy incómoda y aunque era personal, no tenía ni idea de cómo responder cuando mi hijo mas grande de 3 años, me preguntó donde se fue Swami y por qué solo ve sus fotos, pero no lo ve en su forma física.
Si tuviera que decirle que Él ha dejado su cuerpo, es demasiado pequeño para entender este fenómeno. Si yo le dijera que Swami no estara más, él no lo entendería bien y cómo puedo decirle que Swami no esta más!, Le dije que Swami está en el Mahasamadhi. La respuesta fue, ¿por qué no le dices que se levante yo quiero verlo ahora ....
Le dije que Swami vendrá para el darshan mañana y podría verlo. Si me pregunta mañana, no tengo idea de cual debería ser mi respuesta !!!
COMENZÓ LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL EDIFICIO NUEVO DEL ARCHIVO:
El "Bhoomi Puja" (ceremonia de bendición ) para un ultra moderno edificio archivístico comenzó esta mañana. Shri.G.Venkatraman, Shri.Rathnakar, Shri.Prasad Rao, Shri.Shetty y otros ancianos y dirigentes del ashram, estuvieron presentes en esta puja. A pesar de que fue mal citado en varios medios de comunicación Telugu, que este edificio albergará todas las pertenencias personales de Swami, este edificio, que estará al lado del museo, en la cima de una colina, con un presupuesto estimado de 10 crores de rupias, tendrán un método sistemático y moderno de preservar todos los manuscritos de Swami, millones de sus fotos, todos los discursos, etc, para la eternidad y más allá. Este proyecto ayudará definitivamente a que las generaciones futuras tengan acceso a OCÉANO SUPREMO DE CONOCIMIENTO átmico y a algunos HUMORES SAI muy informativo como éste compartido amablemente por el hermano Nitin .
Una vez, Swami distribuyo cremas heladas Joy, a los estudiantes. Cuando los estudiantes gozaban de el helado, Swami hizo un comentario jocoso, "जॉय में क्वालिटी नहीं .. क्वालिटी में जॉय नहीं" (no hay alegría sin Calidad y Calidad sin alegría) .
Cada humor de Swami tenía un significado potente y algo para enseñar ....
Todo el mundo se echó a reír, pero se quedó centrado en el sabor del helado, pero luego fue hora de centrarse en lo que Swami dijo y su significado ...
¡Qué hermoso es el Humor Sai .. Como Swami dijo una vez: Que nuestros corazones estén tan blanco como el helado y nuestras palabras sean suaves y frías como los helados ..

Om Sairam dearest Sai Family:
Cooling off the hot temperature which had been bit of a botheration to the Puttaparthians, a surprise rain welcomed Chinese New Year. Puttaparthi, as the legend goes, was full of ant hills where deadly cobras encroached in, to make it their residences, had good number of Chinese devotees from South East Asian countries who came all the way to the Holy Abode to celebrate the year of SNAKE in Puttaparthi which is/used to be full of ant hills.
Quite coincidentally, i had a dream where so many snakes where chasing me. Even though, it sounded bit inauspicious and bit scary to dream of snakes, i guess Swami meant the Chinese new year celebration in His Abode.
There was a huge banner hanging in the middle which read H.O.P.E (Honouring of Parents Every day) the theme selected for this New year. After the Rudram chanting by the group, Mr.Billy fong addressed the gathering emphasizing on the importance of hounouring one's own parents.On this occasion, he requested the regional Chairman and a very hard working devotee Dr.Ravindran to offer a book at the Lotus Feet of our beloved Lord, which had the teachings of Bhagawan from His discourses which stressed on respect to elders and parents.
Later the group of devotees rendered some beautiful songs in Chinese and English. the icing on the cake and to a huge surprise of particularly Telugu speaking devotees, one Chinese brother sang"Rama Ninnu Nammina" ( O Rama I have put my trust one You) a Telugu song composed by Saint Tyagaraja and one of the most popular songs rendered by students of classical music.
Even though this Sai brother was of Chinese Origin, he showed no trace of Chinese accent while singing. If Swami were to be there physically, this Sai brother would have definitely blessed with a Divine gift fresh from the Divine Jewellery Store!!!
As all these was happening, I had a very uncomfortable situation and even though bit personal, I had no clue how to answer when my 3 plus year old son asked me as where is Swami and why is he seeing only His photos but not the physical form.
If I had tell him that He has left His body, this fellow is too small to know this phenomena. If I tell him Swami is no more,he wouldn't understand either and how can I say that Swami is no more!!! I told him Swami is in the Mahasamadhi there in the middle. The reply came, why don't you ask Him to get up and I want to see Him now....
I told him that Swami will come to darshan tomorrow and he could see Him. He will be definitely questioning me tomorrow and i have no clue what should be my answer!!!!!
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ARCHIVAL BUILDING COMMENCES:
The "Bhoomi Puja" ( ground breaking ceremony) for an ultra modern archival building commenced this morning. Shri.G.Venkat Raman, Shri.Rathnakar Shri.Prasad Rao, Shri.Shetty and other elders and office bearers of the ashram, were present for this puja. Even though it was misquoted in various Telugu media that this building will house all the personal belongings of Swami, this building, which is coming up next to the old museum on the hill top, with an estimated budget of Rs.10 crores, will have a systematic and modern method of preserving all the manuscripts of Swami, millions of His photos, all the discourses etc for eternity and beyond. This project will definitely help the future generations to have access to Swami's OCEAN OF SUPREME ATMIC KNOWLEDGE and some very informative SAI HUMOUR like this one kindly shared by brother Nitin.
Joy and Kwality were the Top two Indian ice cream brands in those days. The Proprietor of 'Joy ' and a hotel owner who
used to get 'Kwality' were devotees of Bhagawan and our well wishers. The healthy competition between the two was highly
beneficial for Students for obvious reasons.
Once, Swami distributed Joy ice cream brought by the 'Joy' Owner to students . When students and every one else around
were en(d)joying the ice cream, Swami made a humorous comment, "जॉय में क्वालिटी नहीं..क्वालिटी में जॉय नहीं" ( There is no Joy in Quality and No Quality in Joy )
Every humor of Swami had a potent meaning and something to learn from....
Everyone burst into laughter but stayed focused on the ice cream taste, But thereafter it was time to Focus on what Swami
said and it's significance...
What a beautiful Sai Humour it is.. As Swami once said, Let our hearts be as white as the ice cream and our words be soft and cold as ice cream..
