VISIÓN INTERIOR

Cuando Swami terminó la función inaugural de la Reunión de Jóvenes de Asia-Pacífico, de dos días, en Sai Ananda Ashram en Kuala Lumpur, procedió a la zona de comedor que era el siguiente aspecto importante después de la reunión, ver que estaban comiendo, y como a menudo lo hace, bromear.
Mientras Swami pasaba junto a los mostradores de comida con deliciosas platos de Malasia y Tamil, una de las damas le hizo un dulce especial de Malasia que consistía en hielo triturado, leche de coco, jarabe de azúcar moreno y nueces.
Mirando la receta con varios ingredientes líquidos, mientras la dama agregaba el jarabe, Swami comentó: "Raso Vai Saha", Dios es el Rasa o esencia de todo, eso es lo que dicen las Escrituras.
Pero el verdadero significado es que Dios es el gusto de todo. Sin Dios, la vida sería insípida, pero con Dios es sabrosa, como este postre con el jarabe.
RASO VAI SAHA significa que DIOS ES EL SABOR DE LA VIDA!
¿Podría esta más grande verdad de la vida espiritual, exponerse tan sencillamente, clara y con buen gusto, que esta.?, me pregunté. ¡Swami no deja una sola oportunidad de enseñar la verdad!
Sí, ciertamente, Él es el sabor de todas nuestras vidas, porque sin Él nuestras vidas habrían sido absolutamente insípidas y sin valor alguno!

As Swami finished the inaugural function of the two-day Asia Pacific Youth Meet at Sai Ananda Ashram at Kuala Lumpur, He proceeded downstairs to the dining area for the next important aspect after the meeting, which is eating as He often jokes.
As Swami walked past the food counters with delicious Malaysian and Tamil cuisines, one of the ladies made Him a special Malaysian sweet that consisted of crushed ice, coconut milk, brown sugar syrup, and nuts. Looking at the recipe with several liquid ingredients, as the lady added the syrup, Swami remarked , "Raso Vai Saha", God is the Rasa or essence of everything, that is what the scriptures say. But the true meaning is that God is the taste of everything. Without God, life would be tasteless but with God it's tasty, just like this dessert with the syrup. RASO VAI SAHA means GOD IS THE TASTE OF LIFE!
Could this greatest truth of spiritual life be put more simply, clearly and tastefully than this, I wondered. Swami does not leave a single opportunity to teach the truth!
Yes indeed, He is the taste of all our lives, for without Him our lives would have been absolutely tasteless, and worthless!
