For, the story that follows is a flash that illumines, a shower that cools, a joke that tickles, a "tablet" that alleviates, a peep into epic grandeur or pompous absurdity, a poetic parenthesis, an exhilarating prick, a lilt that enlightens, a sugar-coated pill of profundity, a disarming repartee, a volley of raillery on religious rigmarole! It may be a tonic tale of the past or the report of a contemporary comedy; it may be a thrust on theological disputation or a dear little dig at some egoistic dignitary. 6_The sacred fruit of action.

On Saturday, a father was involved in worshipping the Lord and he called his son and told him to get some plantains for one rupee. This son was a good boy; he purchased the plantains, but on his way he saw a mother and son, who were very hungry, standing on the road. When the hungry boy saw the plantains, he ran towards him. The hungry mother, who saw the boy running, ran after him and caught him but both of them collapsed of hunger. When this young man found these people suffering so much from hunger, he thought that it was much better to feed hungry people than take the bananas home. He gave the bananas to this mother and son and later brought water and gave it to them. These people were so relieved of their hunger and thirst that they expressed their gratitude in many different ways and shed tears of joy. This young student went home empty handed and when the father asked him if he had brought the bananas, he replied in the affirmative. When asked where the bananas were, the son replied that the bananas were sacred, would not rot and could not be seen. The son explained that he fed two hungry souls with the bananas and the fruits, which he brought home, are only the sacred fruits of the action. The father then felt that his son was worthy of him and he felt that all his prayers had been answered that day. The father developed great affection for the son that day and they came much closer to each other.

5_Excess wealth can change one's quality.

There is a small story, which tells us how the possession of wealth will change the qualities of some people. A mother had only one son and a lot of money. The boy had lost his father early in his life. As the boy grew older and older, he got into bad company. If the tank is full, frogs gather but once the tank has dried up, all the frogs disappear. Many friends will gather round you so long as you have wealth and the moment wealth disappears, the friends will also disappear without telling you. The son of that wealthy person accumulated a large number of bad friends. He used to go to the mother day after day and demand large sums of money, with the result that the mother's affection towards the boy began diminishing and she developed positive hatred towards the boy. As days went on, the boy lost all attachment to the mother. She thought that it's much better that such a son who brings down the honor and reputation of the parents dies rather than lives and therefore she worked out a plan one day. At the same time, the son had its own plan as he thought that it is better that such a mother dies rather than lives. One day the son was to kill his mother with an iron rod as the mother came to serve him food. The mother also decided to kill the son the same day by poisoning his food. When the mother came to serve him food, the son hit her with the iron rod and killed her. A few minutes later, the boy also died after eating the poisoned food.

4_Guru's grace brings eternal glory.

S'ankara, the great âcârya, had four chief pupils: Throtaka, Hastamalaka, Sureswara and Padmapada. Of these, Padmapada was intent only on service to the guru; he could not pay attention to the lessons. The others used to sneer at him for his backwardness in studies. But his deep reverence for the guru made up for it. One day, he washed the clothes of his guru and dried them on a rock in the middle of the river; but, even as he was folding them, the river rose fast in a swirling flood; and he had scarce a foot-hold on the top of the rock. It was getting late; the guru would need the washed clothes soon; so Padmapada resolved to walk across, over the raging waters. He knew that the blessing of his guru would rescue him. It did. Wherever his foot was planted, a sturdy lotus bloomed and bore him on its petals. That is why he came to be called, lotus-footed Padmapada! The grace of the guru enabled him to master all knowledge and shine as a brilliant exponent of the ancient wisdom.

3_Vinayaka - The Leader of all

On one occasion, a competition was arranged among the gods for selecting the leader of the ganas(troops of demigods who are attendants of S'iva). Participants had to go round the world quick and come back to the feet of Lord S'iva. The gods started off on their own vehicles; the elder son of S'ivaalso enthusiastically entered the competition.
He had an elephantine head; his vehicle was a mouse! Therefore, his progress was severely handicapped: He had not proceeded far, when Nârada appeared before him and asked him, "Whither are you bound?" The son was very much annoyed; he fell into a rage. For, what happened was a bad omen, doubly unpropitious for those going on a journey. It is inauspicious if the first person you come across when you are on a journey is a lone brahmin. Though the foremost among the brahmins (he was the son of Brahmâ Himself), Nârada was a bad omen! Again it is a bad omen if you are going somewhere and someone asked, "Whither are you bound?" Nârada put him that very question!

Nevertheless, Nârada was able to assuage his anger. He drew forth from S'iva's son the cause of his predicament and his desire to win. Nârada consoled him, exhorted him not to yield to despair, and advised him thus: "Râma -the name- is the seed from which the gigantic tree called the universe has emanated. So, write the name on the ground, go round it once, and hurry back to S'iva, claiming the prize." He did so and returned to his father. When asked how he returned so soon, he related the story of Nârada and his advice. S'iva appreciated the validity of Nârada's counsel; the prize was awarded to the son, who was acclaimed as Ganapati. (Master of theGanas) and Vinayaka (leader of all).

HISTORIAS SAI_SAI STORIES.

Él dijo, "no te preocupes ..

Nadie en el Ashram sabía dónde Swami iba y por qué . Yo era sólo uno de los 800 estudiantes, y miles de devotos estaban sentados para el darshan de Swami en el Ashram, dejando a los devotos cercanos y queridos en el Ashram y muchas tareas importantes en el Ashram, para salir y llevar su gracia a un pequeño , y no tan importante, alma como yo;

Sai Ram - A Wonderful Incident of Swami's Divine Love and Concern

This incident happened on Jan 3rd, 1989. Every year, the first two weeks of January are very lively for all the Students of Swami's college. Because, the Inter-campus Sports and Games take place during this time. I was a good Athlete in my school and college and I have participated in many sports and games and won a number of medals and had the good fortune to receive them from the lord himself for many years. That day early in the morning ( around 6 :30 a.m. ) I was all set to go for the Long Jump finals. There were 5 other finalists. I had won the first prize during the previous two years and I was a little overconfident this time, and thought I would repeat the history. I did not even warm up or loosen my muscles because of this overconfidence. But I always prayed to Swami before I took the jump.

As all of us know, we would be given 3 chances to make our best mark in the Long Jump. I have taken my first and the distance I jumped was awfully low. Almost all
others cleared it. I have taken my second jump and it was fairly better but surely not the best of me. But something happened at that time. I sprained my ankle. I could not even stand up after that jump and I had to be physically lifted and taken to the hospital directly from the field.

I could not bear the excruciating pain at that time. Obviously, I did not take the third jump. I knew I would lose the prize this time as that was not my best jump. I was feeling awfully bad because Swami taught me a lesson for my overconfidence and I repented for this. The ever-forgiving and ever-kind lord has forgiven me and I learnt later at the hospital that I won the First Prize. I was in tears for his benevolence. There is more... Because of the Sprain I had to "bunk" my college, I was happy about it, but I was hoping to make it for the Darshan in the evening.

My doctor advised me not to strain my leg any further and he has advised complete rest. I pleaded to go for the Darshan and he said "Pray to Swami he will take care of you, but do not go for Darshan", because my foot was swollen and round like a big
football ! I felt miserable at this time and I kept crying as I had never missed Darshan in my whole stay at Prasanthinilayam. That was the first time. I was lying down on my bed kept imagining what was happening at the Ashram. " .......Now Swami is coming out... He is on the ladies section .. now He is taking letters from a devotee.. now He is creating Vibhuti for another Devotee... Now He is signalling a devotee to go in for the interview.......".

Another student, Srinivas, who was participating in some sports events that evening, was asked to take care of my needs as well, as I could not move out of my bed without someone's help. It was just around 4:15 p.m. or so.. Srinivas excused himself and went to the rest room. I was lying down on the bed, turned towards the wall, covered my face with the rug and lost in my imaginations about Swami's darshan. Tears kept rolling from my eyes as I was feeling really bad for not having Swami's Darshan. I did not want any one to see that I was crying so, I covered my face fully and turned towards the wall. Then.. I felt as if someone tapped my back from behind. I thought it was Srinivas again, I thought he brought me some coffee or some snacks.

Slowly I turned to tell him that I was not in a mood... but...it was not Srinivas... and behold... I found the Lord standing there !!! I was dazed... trust me I was totally amazed...I thought I was still imagining Swami's Darshan...and kept staring at Swami's beautiful face without an expression or a word.... I was not sure if I was in a dream or wakeful status.

As you all know by now that Swami gives Darshan in the mornings and there would be Bhajans at 9 a.m. Swami takes quick ( 3-5 minute ) lunch soon after bhajans and at that time if he wants to visit different places, he goesout for about 1 hour, and then retires for that session. The objective is to generally oversee how different organizations ( like the Super Speciality Hospital, the University or the Gokulam etc.,. ) are operating and any other new constructions etc.

Obviously Swami's visit to these places gives immense joy and pleasure to people working there and it rejuvenates their energy and dedication to their work. Because everyone wants to please Swami with their devotion and dedication to work. He, however, does not visit the Boys' hostel during these times. The Students will have to pray to Swami to make a visit, it is only then He goes to the Hostel when all the students are in the Hostel, and gives them the immense pleasure of hispresence.

Apart from these morning visits, Swami normally does not go out of the Ashram at all. But that day was different.Swami apparently gave a very quick Darshan and got into His car along with another senior devotee ( Mr.V.K. Narasimhan- editor of Sanathana Sarathi ) came straight to the Hostel.......into my room. Swami said " it is not a dream, it is real " (in english ).. I tried to get up and Swami asked me not to.

He then started explaining to Mr. Narasimhan in Telugu as to how I jumped and fell down in a wrong position. he told Mr. Narasimhan that for that fall, I should have broken my ankle. But Swami saved me, made sure that my ankle was not broken and it was only a sprain.

I then realised finally that swami was actually there in front of me !! I broke down, my heart melt down for His motherly love and I threw myself on His feet and kept sobbing. Swami patted my back with a lot of affection, created Vibhuti and rubbed it on my face, put some in my mouth, gave some in hand and asked me to put it on my leg. He said, "do not worry.. It will go away soon.( in telugu )" and quickly walked out of the room.

No one in the Ashram knew where and why Swami was going. I was just one of the 800 students and thousands of devotees sitting for swami's darshan in the Ashram, leaving all his near and dear devotees in the Ashram and many important tasks in the Ashram and go out of his way to shower his grace on a small, not-so-important, unwanted soul like me ? He would melt for pure Love from the devotee and sincere yearning and craving for Him.

"Oka Chinna Katha"- Sai Historias_2_El Señor no tiene forma especifica_The Lord has no fixed form.

.

 "Oka Chinna Katha"_One little story.

When Bhagavan intercepts the speeding current of His Discourse with these three Telugu words, meanings, "One little story" all ears are alert, all hearts are quivive. The Chinna Katha, if only we ponder over its relevance, is an effective instrument in Bhagavan's educational process. When He is discoursing, these parables and stories, ever on the wing, hover in flocks in the firmament of His Love; He lets a few fly into our hearts and nestle there, until we fondle and foster them and make them part of our thought and behaviour patterns. Here is a charming, fragrant bouquet of these multicoloured kathas, for our delectation, meditation and inspiration.

2_The Lord has no fixed form.

There was an artist who had traveled far and wide and had built up for himself an extensive reputation. But so far he had not achieved access to Krishna! As much he was anxious to seek approbation from Lord Krishna as well. With his view, one day he got an appointment with Krishna, met Him and requested Him to stay still, so that he could paint His picture. He prepared the outline and told Krishna that he would get ready the final painting in a week's time. Krishna knew the ego of the painter. After a week, the painter brought a finished portrait, covered with a white cloth. In Krishna's presence, when he uncovered the painting, the painter himself was shocked at the lack of similarity between Krishna and the painting. The painter was completely surprised and asked for a week's time to get the job done: The painter tried several times but every time the result was equally disappointing. In complete frustration and total dejection, he wanted to leave the city and go away. When he was going away, sage Nârada met him. Nârada told him that it was silly to attempt to paint the picture of Lord Krishna. The Lord has no fixed form and He can change His face every second. Nârada advised, "If you do want to paint Him, I will tell you a method which will enable you to do so." Nârada whispered something into the ear of the artist.
Following the advice given by Nârada, the painter came back, with a white cloth covering something and again approached Krishna and told Him that this time, He is welcome to change in any manner but the painting will look exactly like Him. When the cloth was removed, Krishna saw only a mirror and this mirror reproduced an exact replica of Krishna. If therefore, you are imaging that God is like this or like that, it is not correct. You cannot describe God and your attempts will fail. Make your mind clear and clean; fill it with love and devotion; that will enable you to have the true vision of God.

Sai Ram - Samadhi and its Spiritual Vibrations

The Below Article has been forwaded by a Dear Sai Brother from Prasanthi Nilayam :

In India, according to Vedic tradition, Samadhi’s are often seen as MORE powerful spiritual portals than when the Mahatma/Avatar was alive.

The reason being is that when They are alive a lot of energy is always being dispersed….

For example when Swami's Physical Body was alive and walking, eating and talking with people, the strength of His consciousness would fluctuate according to time place and circumstance….its only when He would be alone would He really go off into His own universal supreme consciousness without reserve…….ie His wattage would increase when He was in His own four walls……. if He would be like this while giving darshan, people would probably die at the jolt of lightening being emitted from His body……so many a times Swami would ‘tone Himself down’ according to how much the person in front could handle.

At the point of death, less energy is being dispersed by way of talking, interacting and organs functioning…..so all the energy can be harnessed and focused very sharply on Supreme Universal Consciousness….. therefore at the point of a Mahama’s/Avatar’s death….. their cellular structure gets an almighty blast of consciousness for the very last time with no holds barred…… which is then the very last imprint to remain on the cells of the body.

Science has proved that DNA within the billions and billions of cells within the human body act as receivers and transmitters for the consciousness and other etheric energies…..

The cells in Swami’s body have been exposed to incredibly intense spiritual vibrations over a period of decades which have flipped His cellular structure into another quantum dimension of existence permanently.

Quantum physics shows us that when a subatomic particle is exposed to extremely high frequency of energy for a certain period of time it will flip into a quantum state or another dimensional state. Theoretical physicists now believe there to be at least ten dimensions of reality and have recognised that consciousness is the most powerful force in the known universe.

Consequently the cells in Swami’s dead body are still situated in that almighty quantum state!!…. and have received an extra blast at the point of His departure….. which renders the cells within His ‘dead’ body absolutely perfect transmitters/ receivers……. Each cell in His dead body is a sublime portal from this dimension to the dimension of universal supreme consciousness…. more so now than ever before!!
This is why the body is completely surrounded by several hundred kgs of salt to preserve the cell structure as much as possible…. and not cremated as is normally done in Vedic tradition…… By burying his body it is known that great emanations will still be omitted and purify the earth, its lay lines and also all those who pray earnestly infront of it.

In addition, the Atma of a Mahatma or Avatar…will always stays close to their own Samadhi…..and will use the quantum cells of their ‘dead’ body to receive and transmit powerful divine consciousness without any distraction or interruption…..this is why In India Samadhi’s are seen to be so auspicious…even more so when they were alive in certain departments.

This is why many disciples throughout the ages of India feel to live and do sadhana near the samdhis of such great souls.

Historia detrás de la foto _Story behind the Photo .

IDOLO de Bhagavan Sathya Sai Baba
LLEGA A SAI PREM, Navi Mumbai.

IDOL OF BHAGAVAN SATHYA SAI BABA
ARRIVES IN SAI PREM, NAVI MUMBAI.
(Album Posted separately)

Sai Prem is a Mandir dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This is situated in the new city VASHI, in Navi Mumbai. It is worth reporting that Bhagavan had blessed this mandir, by His personal visit, thus sanctifying the Mandir.

Apart from regular Bhajans, this Mandir is a nucleolus for various service activities, such as Medical aids etc. After Bhagavan’s Samadhi, the Organization wished to install an idol of Bhagavan Baba. Soon a design of the idol was selected and orders were placed with one of the best Idol makers in Mumbai.

It is a good news that the Idol is now ready, and had been taken delivery by the Sai Devotees from Vashi. The heavy Idol had been transported to Sai Prem Mandir. Soon there will be installation ceremony with all vedic rituals and other formalities.

I take pleasure to furnish some snapshots of the beautiful Sai idol. More and more Sai centers across the country are likely to follow suit in installation of Swami’s Idols.

Story behind the Photo :

A British couple went to visit Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, South India, the site of Sai Baba's main ashram called "Prasanthi Nilayam." The husband was a devotee of Sai Baba and his wife a devout Christian. It seems that, for the wife, Sai Baba's Divine love and miraculous powers initially posed a problem and a conflict.

Sai Baba called the couple in for an interview, and during that interview the husband's automatic camera began clicking and photographing on its own. Upon returning to England, the couple discovered a photograph looking like Jesus, when they developed that roll of film. That entire role of film had been shot in a small, simple room with no one looking like Jesus present at the time.

During their next trip to India, Sai Baba again called them in for an interview and asked them if they liked the photograph. He then told the couple that this was a photograph of Jesus at the age of 28 or 29, when he had returned from "The Lost Years in India" and returned to Jerusalem.

Thus ends the corroborated version of this miracle. It is widely understood that this miraculous experience helped the wife to, not only embrace the Divinity of Sai Baba, but to grow closer to Jesus, and see that loving both was a blessing and not a conflict... a blessing that helped deepen her Christian faith.

Needless to say, it is amazing and miraculous to have a photograph of Jesus, nearly 2,000 years after his birth. It would seem, to a very high degree of probability, that the world now has an accurate photograph of Jesus.
