No puedo aceptar dinero impuro.

Live in love. Love is life. Without loving or being loved, no being can exist on the earth. Love sustains. Love strengthens. Love is the urge behind all adventure, all sacrifice, all success.
-Baba

 INNER VIEW
By Sri Madhusudan Naidu

Pure Love Alone, None Else!

As Swami was talking to a lady devotee and telling her about the wonderful development at Karwar, Karnataka He said, “Even though the greedy sellers of the land backed out at the last moment and asked for much higher price than what was mutually agreed upon, thereby jeopardising the whole Bhoomi Puja programme for the new campus, a devotee came forward and offered his land for Swami’s school thus saving the day! God who has measured the entire earth in one step and the sky in another (referring to Vamana Avatar) owns everything, yet He accepts an offering if it is made out of Pure Love. It is just like a father who earns and gives pocket money to the child, and never takes it back unless offered by the child with great sincerity.”

“Isn’t it why Krishna ate butter at the home of Gopikas even though he had plenty at his own home. The butter of Gopikas was pure without attachments”, He added.

This reminded me of the day when out of ignorance I asked Swami as to why does He not simply appear in wealthy people’s dream, so that He can have plenty to do all the projects. He reprimanded for my liberty and said, “Who do you think I am? I cannot accept impure money. It’s like ocean filled with saline water unfit for drinking, unless purified.”

I have seen Him refuse offerings and shred cheques, which were not pure. He won’t accept anything, not even a ‘clove bud’ if it’s not offered with pure selfless love!

He further said that difficulties in life are an opportunity to seek God and gain His blessings as these situations let one contemplate on God.
Beings are many, Breath is one
The speaker further beautifully  addressed that to reach the third and the highest level ie. Divinity, one has to start seeing the reflection of Bhagawan in everyone and contemplate. At that level, every breath is controlled by Him. Bhagawan is to be made the center of one’s life. He said that there are two big barriers to spirituality and they are Fear and Shame. By holding on to Bhagawan, the Supreme Light, no fear...

NOVEMBER 22 2017, DAY 4

Karma Yoga has been the path laid by Swami to reach the divine. Swami prescribes selfless acts as the capsules towards godhood. Following His doctrine, all the delegates, students, staff and devotees proceeded for Grama Seva, at the daybreak of November 22 2017, to offer tokens of love and gratitude to the residents of various villages and school children as well. 92nd BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS OF BHAGAWAN SRI SATHYA SAI BABA - NOVEMBER 23 2017 - MORNING
Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham was flooded as devotees were pouring in, unable to contain their joy and happiness, eager to wish the Lord on His Ninety Second Birthday. Bhagawan, who is love manifested in human form, didn’t disappoint anyone in the audience, going round the hall and distributing chocolates, ensuring that nobody was left out. As people leapt to catch the chocolates playfully thrown by the Lord, every heart leapt in celebration. Swami patiently and lovingly cut each cake that had been brought by devotees from around the globe with the sole intention of pleasing Him.
Bhagawan was welcomed onto the stage by a soulful ‘Swagatam’ song rendered by Sri Sumeet Tappoo. This was followed by a birthday song from all assembled, wishing their beloved Swami in one united voice. The morning proceedings commenced with the Vedic invocation by the students from the Jayapura Campus.
The first presentation on this glorious morning was by the devotees of Bhagawan from Singapore. They continue to play a pivotal role in the ongoing mission of the Lord in the subtle form. Swami had blessed the group, which comprises of highly accomplished professionals who humbly submit themselves to their master, to offer a garland of songs at His lotus feet. The songs were rendered expressing love and surrender, the collective emotion of everyone present in the auditorium, which did not leave a single dry eye in the room.
The guests for the morning were Sri Satyapal Singh, Honorable Minister of State for Human Resource Development...

The evening’s proceeding began with the Vedic invocation by the girl students from Swami’s institutions. The highlight of the evening programme was the Sri Sathya Sai Award for Human Excellence, an award instituted by Bhagawan in order to honour and celebrate individuals who have gone beyond their call of duty into the realms of selfless service.

No puedo aceptar dinero impuro.

He tomado unos cuantos vuelos. Él dijo: " No, tienes trabajo.!

Déjanos rendirnos, dejarlo ir, ¡y vayamos a Dios!

Sri Madhusudan Naidu at 'Tattva Sameeksha' (December 4, 2017), Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli.

('Tattva Sameeksha' is a Monday Evening Talk session by eminent speakers to the Ashram residents of Sathya Sai Grama in Muddenahalli).

"God is like a hawk! Once He catches His prey, He will never leave it!"

We all have said 'Yes' to Swami at some point of time. "Swami! Yes, I belong to You! I'm Yours." And then He takes over. "Oh! You are mine? Then you have to be like Me! Let me chop off everything that is not Me in you." And then the pain begins. Oh not today, may be tomorrow. Then you try to escape His grip.

But St. Francis of Assisi has also told another thing. "God is like a hawk! Once He catches His prey, He will never leave it!" So, I hope His grip on us doesn't slip. Because we will definitely slip, but His grip should be tight on us. Even if we squeal and cry and resist, He should not leave us. He should continue to keep us in his claws and ensure that we reach our destination, wherever He is taking us to.

This is the story of every seeker as far as I understand. And the willingness to let go of everything and let God alone is the most important quality if we want to be close to Swami and realise ourselves in Him and His true self in us. Let us not anymore be those foolish flies hovering around the glass of juice. Let us dive in straight into the juice and become one with it. Like the Ganges that flows selflessly, eager only to merge in ocean and nothing less. Let us also flow selflessly on the way serving and benefiting many at the same time going and merging in our true selves, which is what God is. When He is here working tirelessly preparing us for that, encouraging us , guiding us, sometimes even pushing us towards that, let us not resist it. Let us willfully, gladly, joyfully dump all that which is not Him in us.

Let us take to our first flight into the expanse of the sky. I have taken a few flights. Swami has given me few times a glimpse of that, taste of that divine experience, the divine self. If I had the choice or an option, I would have never liked to return back. I told Swami I don't want to return and want to be in that state, it's so blissful. He said, "No, you have got work! I will keep the experience of bliss of the supreme divine self like a precious jewel in a box for you. And I will keep the key. And when you have finished My work in this world, and you are done with all that I want you to do, then I will open the box and give it back to you. So, it is your property in my custody."

So, I'm really looking forward to finishing my duties as early as possible and go back to that experience because that is matchless! All pleasures, attractions just fade away. It's like the sun shining bright and all the little lamps mean nothing in front of the sun. Atmanubhava, the experience of the self is so very blissful that you really don't want to taste anything else. I'm fortunate that He saw to it that I did not win over Him in resisting. He saw to it that He won over me and took care, that I don't come in His way. I don't become an obstacle in my own progress. I would like to see many more around me, all of us flying together like a flock of birds in the sky of that Atman which is what we are here for. We will break free from all our cages whether made of gold, silver or diamonds; doesn't matter. That's not where we belong. Let us surrender, let go, and let God!

Oh!

- Sri Madhusudan Naidu at 'Tattva Sameeksha' (December 4, 2017), Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli.

('Tattva Sameeksha' is a Monday Evening Talk session by eminent speakers to the Ashram residents of Sathya Sai Grama in Muddenahalli).

"It's time we break open our cages and care a damn about what others think about us".

Swami said, "We are all like the caged parrots. A parrot will repeat anything you teach. But does it understand and benefit from it?"

The parrot imitates the sound of a telephone or car or somebody's voice. We all clap! What a wonderful parrot, how nicely it imitates. And the parrot becomes happy being in the cage. Oh! Everybody appreciates me, I am happy in my cage. That's what happens to us. "He has got a new business going" - very well done. "He has got a big car" - what a wonderful achievement! "He has got one more position, one more accolade, one more award, he has become bigger, his family has grown" - everybody around claps. You feel so happy you are in a cage, forgetting your place is in the sky! This is what Swami told.

Like parrots we go on imitating others. He did this, I also want to do that. I want to do it better. The world around claps for our silly achievements. We feel so contended and happy forgetting who we really are. We are happy with our clipped wings eating whatever is given to us, forgetting the expanse of the sky, forgetting the freedom and are happy in our golden cages. But then Swami is here to open the cage and say, come out, you have to fly. This is not the place you belong to. This is not where you should be. But then nobody is going to clap for that. Nobody is going to appreciate. "Oh! you became spiritual? You became a monk, a sanyasi? You gave up all the attachments? You don't care about the world? Oh! Very well done!" Nobody is going to clap. And so we don't want to do it. Because there is nobody to appreciate that.

Unfortunately, we live in this fake or false pretense of being happy and we are never truly happy. Every word I heard from Swami, I felt how deeply He feels. He feels everyone should strive to realise his or her self. And this is not possible if you want to be on the earth as well as in the sky at the same time. Only if You leave the earth, can you fly in the sky! It's time we break open our cages and care a damn about what others think about us, whether they appreciate or ridicule. We should take to the expanse of the skies. That is the time now and that is the time here.

Because you have lost the patience to wait, you want everything immediately...

Sairam,

In a satsang held in the divine presence at Suffolk, UK, on 3 April, 2016; a devotee seeks guidance on tradition and technology, and how to connect with nature.

And here is what Swami said:

Question: The world is moving very fast and everything is driven by science and technology. I feel that we are losing all the traditional systems of medicine and the things that connected us with the earth.

If we want to follow the traditional systems, there seems to be no way to do so. Do You see a place for the traditional ways of thinking, in the future? Will the traditional systems revive, or will science and technology carry on as it has been for the last two centuries? How can we connect more deeply with planet Earth, as human beings, because I feel that we are destroying the beautiful place where we have been born?

Swami: Because you are in a society which is using these systems, you think that they are the only systems being followed. Half the world does not have access to the science, technology and medicine you talk about. How are they taking care of themselves? They are still going with their traditional knowledge, their traditional wisdoms of the earth and of nature, and they look after themselves that way. So, it is not correct to say that it is totally destroyed and you no longer have any of those old methods. They are still there in those places where science and technology have not yet reached.

What is happening on this side of the world, driven by technology and modern science and modern medicine? For everything, there are some positive and some negative aspects. Even science accepts that there will be side-effects; for particular types of medication and ways of treating patients, you accept it as being the case, because some cures might take a longer time, or may not have a definite result and you are not ready to take risks. You do not have patience and, so you want immediate cures for these things; that is where technology is giving you an answer. However, if you develop patience, if you foster a healthier lifestyle and achieve better health; there will be no need for such medicines except, maybe, in some exceptional cases. You can still lead a healthy life.

Truly, most diseases today are not physical – they are mental in their origins and it is more the lack of spirituality in people than the science of medicines, that is the reason they are suffering or unhappy. People who lead spiritual lives with contentment, do not suffer as much. In the first place, they will never need most of these things.

Where this is not the case, is where all these things come into picture. Because you have lost the patience to wait, you want everything immediately – that leads to a lot of these issues; yet, man goes by his experience. It is a cycle, a swing of the pendulum and, at some point, more and more people will realise it to be the case.

The coming times are very critical, because there is a definite shift in people’s consciousness. They are going back to their original values, having experienced that there is not much joy or happiness in the quick fixes; they wish to return to their original order of values.

That will complete the cycle, and the next era will be better. However, those who understand this should put a little effort to keep it going, to keep it alive and promote it.
