Estoy construyendo escuelas y hospitales por amor a ustedes, dijo. Pensar en mí mismo, eso es un poco extraño. ¿Construir hospitales y escuelas para mí? No tengo un problema de corazón. Espero no tener uno. No necesitaré este hospital. Y mi educación esta más o menos completa. Definitivamente no quiero volver a estudiar más. Entonces, ¿qué está diciendo Swami? Le pregunté a Swami en mi mente y luego me dijo:
'Por amor a ti, te estoy dando la oportunidad de ser un poco más desinteresado'.
Entonces, con menos de uno mismo, menos de uno mismo, menos de uno mismo; un día serás completamente desinteresado. Pensarás menos en ti mismo y más en los demás. Un buen día, es posible que no puedas dejar todo y marcharte. Hay muchas cosas que resolver antes de eso. Hemos acumulado demasiadas cosas para crear. Tomará tiempo. Pero uno por uno, día tras día podemos trabajar en ello. Swami dijo, menos yo, menos yo, menos yo, te hará desinteresado. Y eso es exactamente lo que trata de enseñarnos a cada uno de nosotros.
Los hospitales no son sólo para salvar a un niño de una enfermedad. Es para transformar el corazón del niño, los padres y los médicos. Estoy viendo esto. Si vas a nuestros hospitales y hablas con nuestros médicos, no podrás decir que no son devotos. No han visto a Swami en toda su vida. Pero son muy devotos de Swami. Hablas con ellos y te darán una mejor comprensión del mensaje de Swami, que probablemente la que tienes. Este es el tipo de gente que trabaja en estos hospitales. Me sorprende la forma en que hablan los médicos. Nunca han visto a Swami, nunca han estado con Swami, y nunca han pasado tiempo en la proximidad física del Swami. Pero el trabajo, la bondad, la compasión que Swami está mostrando a través de estos hospitales los está transformando.
Un gran número de devotos, que vienen aquí, son probablemente aquellos que nunca han visto a Swami, nunca han ido a Puttaparthi o nunca fueron parte de ninguno de Sus trabajos antes. Pero lo han entendido muy rápidamente.
Una vez le pregunté a Swami, dónde estaba toda esta gente? Todos estos años estuvistes haciendo tantas cosas y estas personas nunca estuvieron a la vanguardia. Y Entonces Swami dijo: " estas son todas mis cuotas de reserva!!! Los he reservado para este día. No para ese día."

“Where were they? All these years you were doing so many things and these people were never in the forefront. And then Swami said, “These are all my ‘Reserved Quota’!!! I had reserved them for this day. It was not for that day.”

I am building schools and hospitals out of my love for you, He said. I thought to myself, that’s a bit strange. Building hospitals and schools for me? I don’t have a heart problem. I hope I won’t have one. I won’t need this hospital. And my education is more or less complete. I definitely don’t want to go back to studying more. Then what is Swami saying? I asked Swami in my mind and then He said, ‘Out of my love for you, I am giving you an opportunity to be little more selfless’. So with less of self, less of self, less of self; one day you will be completely selfless. You will think less of yourself and more about others. On one fine day you may not be able to drop off everything and walk away. There are too many things to settle before that. We have piled up too many things to unpile. It will take time. But one by one, day after day we can work on it. Swami said, less of self, less of self, less of self will make you Selfless. And that is exactly what He is trying to teach every one of us.
Hospitals are not just for saving a child from an ailment. It is for transforming the heart of the child, parents, and the doctors. I am seeing this. If you go to our hospitals and talk to our doctors, you will not be able to tell they were not devotees. They haven’t seen Swami in their whole life. But they are so devoted to Swami. You talk to them and they will give you better understanding of Swami’s message than probably what you have. These are the kind of people who work in these hospitals. It kind of surprises me the way the doctors’ talk. They have never seen Swami, they have never been with Swami, and they have never spent any time in the physical proximity of Swami. But the work, the kindness, the compassion Swami is showing through these hospitals is transforming them.
A large number of devotees who are coming here are probably those who have never seen Swami, never been to Puttaparthi or were never part of any of the work before. But they have so quickly understood. Once I asked Swami, where were all these people? All these years you were doing so many things and these people were never in the forefront.
