Nueva máquina ELISA inaugurada en los SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram,Prashantinilayam, 29 de noviembre 2012.
El Instituto Sri Sathya Sai de Ciencias Médicas Superiores, Prasanthigram, ha adquirido un nuevo instrumento llamado ELISA de trabajo totalmente automatizado para su departamento de microbiología ha un costo de Rs. 35 lakh.
Máquinas ELISA se utiliza para diagnosticar infecciones como el VIH (SIDA), hepatitis y dengue, entre otros. Con la nueva máquina estas pruebas se pueden realizar en el hospital en un lapso de tiempo más corto. La nueva máquina es única en su tipo en la región Ralayaseema.
La estación de trabajo ELISA fue inaugurado por el Secretario del Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri. GSRCV Prasada Rao, en una ceremonia celebrada en SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram, el jueves, en presencia del Director de SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram, Dr. D. Choudary Voleti y jefes de delegación del Departamento de Microbiología, Dr. Kumar Gururaj y el personal del departamento entre otros.
En su intervención en la inauguración de la estación de trabajo nuevo ELISA, el Director de la SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram, Dr. D. Choudary Voleti, dijo que la nueva máquina hará bajar el tiempo de prueba de la muestra de 6 horas tomadas por el actual método utilizado en el hospital a dos horas y media, lo que reduce el tiempo de espera para los pacientes. "Ahora es posible poner a prueba 400 muestras de sangre a la vez", dijo. "La adquisición de la nueva estación de trabajo ELISA está en consonancia con los principios de la atención de salud de los establecidos por Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Las Instituciones de salud de Baba, por lo tanto, dan prioridad a la atención de los pacientes y están en constante evolución y formas de servir mejor a los pacientes ", dijo el Dr. Voleti.

Speaking at the inauguration of the new ELISA work station, the Director of the SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram, Dr. Choudary D. Voleti said that the new machine will bring down the sample testing time to two and a half hours from 6 hours taken by the current method used in the hospital thereby reducing the waiting time for patients. “It is now possible to test 400 blood samples at a time,” he said. “The procurement of the new ELISA work station is in consonance with the principals of health care of laid down by Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Baba’s health institutions, therefore, give top priority to patient care and are always evolving ways to serve the patients better,” Dr. Voleti said.
