THE STORY BEHIND THIS PHOTO –

(THE KANAYAZHI RING) MIRACLES IN KODAIKANAL - 2

Bhagavan Baba is always in joyful mood, whenever He visits Kodaikanal. In the midst of those selected band of students who accompany Him, Bhagavan narrates several interesting stories, episodes and surprise every one with Divine miracle of creations. In my last posting I had narrated the creation of Mangala Suthra (Thirumangalyam) offered by Lord Sri Rama to Mother Sita Devi. I was fortunate to be present in the central hall in Sai Sruthi.

As mentioned in my earlier posting, it was Sri Rama Navami day. Swami touched the incident of Sri Hanuman locating Mother Sita Devi in Ashoka vana in Sri Lanka. Lord Rama had given a special ring, called “KANAYAAZHI”, to Hanuman instructing him to give it to Mother Sita Devi as and when he meets her. At first, Mother Sita Devi did not believe Hanuman, thinking He was also a manifestation of Ravana in disguise. When Hanuman showed this ring to the Mother, conveying that the Lord had sent it through him, as a proof of identity, Mother Sita Devi believed him.

At this point, smilingly Bhagavan materialized a large ring. It was sapphire ring. He showed this to every one and told that this was the ring presented to Lord Rama by Emperor Janaka.

The ring was almost the size of the wrist. The students exclaimed , “ Swami, how come a ring is so big?” Swami replied again, “Lord Rama was an Aajanubhahu, meaning, one of the very tall stature.

After going for a full round showing the ring to every one, Swami clasped His hands together, and opened again. And the Ring had vanished. Swami declared that the Ring had gone to Sai Stores.”

Retrospectiva (2011): Jan - febrero - marzo - abril - mayo - junio - julio - agosto - septiembre

Actualizado Viernes, Octubre 20, 2011 - 21:30 Hrs. India

Susheela, y declaró enfáticamente -"Ya no soy tu Sathya. Yo soy Sai Baba! ..Mis devotos me llaman... Yo tengo mi trabajo que atender.... ! Me voy "...

Updated Friday, October 20, 2011 - 2130 Hrs. IST

This day, 71 years ago, in a small and unknown town called Uravakonda in the erstwhile Madras Presidency of South India, a 14 year old boy named Rathnakaram Sathya Narayana Raju returned from school in the afternoon, cast away his books in front of his sister-in-law, Smt. Susheela, and declared most emphatically - “I am no longer your Sathya. I am Sai Baba! My devotees beckon me. I have my work to attend to. I am leaving!” He moved into the garden of a neighborhood house, and to the people gathered there , he sang his epoch making Bhajan – Maanasa Bhajare Guru Charanam, Dustara Bhava Sagara Taranam (Oh Mind! Worship the Feet of the Guru and cross the turbulent ocean of this worldly existence).

The day was spent in prayer and quiet contemplation by the devotees in Puttaparthi. They spent the day in remembering the often repeated statement by Bhagawan Baba, “I am Divine, but you too are Divine. The only difference is that I know about my Divinity and you are unaware of it". There was an hour long Vedam session from 1630 to 1730hrs in the evening. This was followed by short talk by Sri Anil Kumar on the significance of this day.

On this auspicious day, the learned speaker choose to recollect some of the declarations, vows and assurances made by the Lord a few of which are listed below,
Prasanthi Nilayam is My Abode, My Heaven. It is from here that I operate, bless My devotees and protect them.
When a person comes here, all his burdens are lifted and Joy pervades his being.
The awareness of being in His presence guarantees success in one's endeavors.
I love your Bhajans and Dance to their tunes in the shrine of your hearts.
I behave like a Human so that you can experience proximity to me.
I will never forget those who have taken refuge in me.

The translator of Bhagawan's discourses further elaborated that the holy concept of "Vasudeva Kutumbakam" or One World Family finds fruition only at the lotus feet of Beloved Bhagawan. He said that if one where to ask the speaker what was it that Bhagawan did, his reply would be that He spread Bliss and Peace.

The talk was followed by an Excerpt from Bhagawan's discourse given on the Avatar Declaration Day of 2002. The entire discourse titled 'Reminiscence Of The Divine' can be read here. The discourse was followed by the Epochal Bhajan of Bhagawan, ' Maanasa Bhajare Guru Charanam, Dustara Bhava Sagara Taranam'. The Bhajan can be downloaded here.

The programme concluded with Aalap Bhajans with students singing 'Antaranga Sai', 'Tum Ho Anaatha Nath Bhagawan', 'Sai Pita aur Mata Sai' and 'Sai Humaara Hum Sai Ke' with stirring aalaps. Prasadam was distributed to the gathering. Arati was offered at 1820hrs.

Divino milagro - Swami controla inundaciones_Divine Miracle - Taming the Raging Floods

Divino milagro - Swami controla inundaciones.

Divine Miracle - Taming the Raging Floods

Bhagawan has the power to control Nature but He rarely interferes with natural phenomena. His argument is very simple. He says, "I have ordained the forces of Nature and they have their duties to perform. However, when it becomes absolutely essential for the welfare of mankind, I intervene in a benign manner." As young Krishna, he lifted an entire hill to protect the people of His village from a deluge. As Sai too, He has several times done similar things. One example is provided by the floods of 1973.

That year, thanks to very heavy rain, there was an unprecedented flood in the Chitravathi river. Water submerged all the low-lying parts of Puttaparthi, and came right up to the Ganesha and the Gopuram gates. The Ashram being at a relatively higher elevation, the flood waters had not yet entered its premises, but were threatening to do so. Meanwhile, all the villagers flocked into the Ashram seeking shelter. The compassionate Bhagavan not only allowed the villagers to take shelter but also provided them with food.

The weather continued to be inclement, and it appeared as if the water level might rise even further. At this stage, Baba went to the East Prasanthi block of flats, and climbed up to the terrace. From there He looked down at the overflowing river, and whispered something. People nearby could not make out what Swami was saying but they could clearly hear the word Shanti being repeated three times.

While 'advising' the river to calm down, Baba also raised His hands in a gesture of benediction. Miraculously, the flood waters began to recede immediately, and within a few hours, the people huddled in the Ashram could go back to their homes.

There are also occasions when Swami emphatically refuses to intervene. Once during a Discourse, it was raining heavily. Devotees prayed that the rain be stopped but Baba brushed aside the request. He explained that while the rain might be an inconvenience for them, the farmers were eagerly looking forward to precisely this downpour. Devotees must not be selfish, Swami wonderfully added.

..." Swami dijo, Aajanu Bhahum significa ... manos muy largas ... .. ".

STORY BEHIND THIS PHOTO .

MIRACLES IN SAI SRUTHI, the Divine Abode in Kodaikanal. 1.

(Bhagavan in Sai Sruthi, Kodaikanal)

The lake area in Kodaikanal used to be humming with hectic activities during the summer days, with the arrival of our Lord Sai. Like the honey bees and the butterflies hovering over the flower gardens, scores of devotees from all part of the world arrive across the lake, and gather in front of Sai Sruthi, the Divine Abode. They sit in lines in the grass outside the gate, which is wet with overnight heavy dews, awaiting for seva dals to draw lots for entry inside. The devotees will be having a feast of Divine Darshan twice every day.

Once it was a Sri Rama Navami, the Birthday of Lord Sri. Rama. After Darshan, Swami was giving a Divine discourse. Swami touched various aspects of Rama’s Stories. Swami narrated Seetha Kalyanam, backed up with melodious songs in between the story telling. At the end Arathi was taken and the crowds disbursed. But Swami had not finished. Inside the Divine Abode, Sai Sruthi, the student had gathered around Swami, including few senior devotees.

The students’ sessions normally starts with a few questions asked by the boys. Swami took His seat and looked around every one gathered. Those days, I was in charge of the Tamil version of Sanathana Sarathi, and as a most lucky man, I could also sneak in.

One boy dared to ask Swami a question on Rama-Sita Kalayanam (wedding).

“Swami, as Lord Rama, how did you offer Mangala Suthram (Tthirumangalayam) to Mother Sita? Did you put it as a chain around the neck of Mother Sitha, or was it tied into a knot? Bhagavan pretended to react angrily, raising His hands, He shouted “Hey”. Then Swami smiled at every one and softly replied, “It was put around the neck! And Swami suddenly asked, “Do you want to see the Mangala Suthram offered to Mother Sita, by Lord Rama?” The eager boys shouted back in a chorus, “Yes Swami, Please Swami……”

Swami’s Divine right hand started moving in circles, and then caught hold of something. Slowly swami opened up the palm, and showed a Large beautiful golden pendent. It was as big as the palm of the hand, and quite heavy. Swami got up from His seat, and walked among the boys and the devotees showing the Divine Pendent, to enable everyone to touch it. One boy asked, “Swami this is heavy and very big. How can a small chain hold it?” Swami replied it was not small chain; it was quite large, about 5 feet in all.” Everybody was startled at this statement. Swami clarified that in Thretha Yuga, humans were very tall. Lord Rama was 16’ tall and Mother Sita about 12 ‘. Swami recited the first line of a famous aalapana of Rama Bhajan, “AAJANU BHAHUM ARAVINDA……” Swami said, Aajanu Bhahum means very long hands…..” .

CHENNAI: With no finalised star cast to its credit, a film recently managed to make giant waves in Andhra Pradesh. A film in which the star who acted would be revered for not being who he is, but for merely playing his part: enacting the life of one of the most-followed godmen of the country, Baba Sathya Sai. This much-talked about film Baba Sathya Sai was launched in Chennai on Friday, in the presence of the state's first citizen, the governor.

Tamil Nadu’s contribution to the film will be Ilayaraja, a musician whose music continues to mesmerise millions. “From the film crew, there was some hesitation in approaching me to compose music for a film on Baba, when it is known that I am a devotee of Ramana Maharishi. But I agreed. God can be only one. The true God is one who is common to all,” replied the musician, who said his music would be situation-driven for the film. The movie is directed by Kodi Ramakrishna, the Telugu filmmaker who has done more than a 100 films, including Amman (Ammoru in Telugu) and the recent blockbuster Arundhathi (2009).

MI MISIÓN HA ALCANZADO EL MOMENTO EN QUE CADA UNO DE USTEDES TIENE UN TRABAJO QUE HACER. ESTE PLANETA TIENE UN PROPÓSITO EN LA GRAN GALAXIA LA CUAL PERTENECE. ESTE PROPÓSITO SE ESTA DESPLEGANDO EN ESTOS MOMENTOS DELANTE DE NUESTROS OJOS. YO LOS CONVOCO PARA QUE IRRADIEN LA DEVOCIÓN DENTRO DE USTEDES Y ASÍ SU PODER INVISIBLE CUBRIRÁ A TODOS AQUELLOS QUE SE ACERQUEN A USTEDES.

PARA REALIZAR SU PARTE EXITOSAMENTE, SIEMPRE MANTÉNGANSE CENTRADOS EN MÍ. PERMÍTANSE COMPARTIR ESTA PUREZA DE CORAZÓN DENTRO DE USTEDES CON TODOS LOS SERES HUMANOS Y CON TODAS LAS CRIATURAS VIVIENTES, Y RENUNCIEN AL FRUTO DE SU TRABAJO.

ESTA PARTE DE MI MISIÓN SERÁ LLEVADA A CABO EN ABSOLUTO SILENCIO. USTEDES SON MIS INSTRUMENTOS DESDE DONDE MI AMOR SE DERRAMARÁ. SEAN SIEMPRE CONSCIENTES QUE EL MOMENTO EN QUE USTEDES LE PERMITEN A SU EGO CAER SOBRE USTEDES, MI TRABAJO SE DETIENE, CUANDO USTEDES HAYAN TRIUNFADO SOBRE SU NEGATIVIDAD, NUEVAMENTE SE TRANSFORMARAN EN MI FUENTE.

MI AMOR SE MULTIPLICARÁ A TRAVÉS DE TODO EL MUNDO. YO LOS HE PREPARADO A TRAVÉS DE MUCHAS ENCARNACIONES. YO LOS HE ATRAÍDO HACIA MÍ.

Dr. Gersten reports that, "This statue of Krishna, made of gold, was materialized by Sai Baba in 1968, when Sai Baba was 42 years old. Krishna, a poorna (full) Avatar, was born July 20th, 3228 B.C. and is known world-wide for telling the story which is the Bhagavad Gita, the story of the triumph of good over evil. This story was about a real war between the Pandavas (good guys) and the Kauravas (bad guys) who were cousins. The battlefield on which they fought, called the Kurukshetra, is both real and allegorical. As a psychiatrist, I see this inner battle going on in many people I treat.

This picture was taken by Ratan Lal on May 15, 1968. The event took place near Dwaraka, where Krishna lived, which is on the west coast of India, about 325 miles northwest of Bombay. The description of this event is given by N. Kasturi in Sathyam Sivaram Sundaram, Part III, on page 183-184. To paraphrase:

'While returning to Jamnagar in the evening, Baba suddenly said, 'O, the sea is here!' and the cars stopped. We came upon a wide patch of sandy shore, with a temple on a heap of rocks at one end. Baba walked along the watery edge and sat on the sands at last, as Krishna must have sat some fifty centuries ago.

Sai Baba heaped the soft sand to the height of a cubit in front of him, putting us all into a state of extreme expectancy. He flattened the heap and, with his finger, drew a three-slanted line, a rough circle on top of it, a small triangle over that, and finally a short line across the circle. 'It is ready,' he said. Digging his hands deep into the pile, he drew forth a bright golden image of Lord Krishna playing the flute. 'You did not get darshan of Krishna in the temple; have it now,' He said.

Kasturi surmises that the long line was for the body, the circle for the forehead, the triangle for the peackcock feather, and the short line for the flute.'

In 1968, when this photograph was taken, there were few devotees visiting Sai Baba. However, now there are tens of thousands of people visiting Prasanthi Nilayam, Sai Baba's ashram, every day. After the crowds started becoming huge, Sai Baba stopped his practice of walking with a few devotees to the nearby riverbed, because he is followed by masses of people wherever he goes.

The crowds did not start becoming huge until the early 1980's, and even then they were small in comparison to the 4 million devotees who came to celebrate Sai Baba's 70th birthday in 1995. It is a miracle in itself that a gathering of 4 million spiritual seekers received no media coverage.

In spite of these numbers, each individual has a unique relationship with Sai Baba, and receives what he needs, although not necessarily what he wants."

Story behind this photo - (A toyopet car, A Fabulour Divine Gift)

Sai Ram.

Yes, this is a car, bearing the Registration No. ATA-1116. And this belonged to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Swami was earlier using an Indian made Fiat vehicle. Devotees may remember the story of Swami Himself driving the Fiat car from Chennai to Hyderabad to visit Sri. Ramaskrishna Rao, Ex-governor, who was seriously ill. Swami wished to give his last Darshan to Sri. Ramaskishna Rao, before he breathed his last.

This is TOYOPET, a model of Toyoto, was the first foreign made car, used by Bhagavan and this car was offered to Bhagavan, by a very senior devotee from Chennai.

I was most fortunate to have this car, all for myself, received as a Prasad, from Bhagavn Baba.

In this picture you can see me along with my grandson near Rashtrapathi Bhavan complex in New Delhi.

WHY SHOULD WE HAVE MAHASAMADHI DARSHAN?

Om Sairam dearest Sai Family,

Greetings from the holy land. With Swami's grace all is well here.

After Swami left His body there are so many questions raised as why one should visit Parthi here after. Now that Swami is not in Parthi any more, Should we still visit this holy land where God walked and talked. What ever might be our personal feelings, agendas, conclusions but Swami's divine will definitely take you to Prasanthi even though we might be having second thoughts about Prasanthi visits. That is the power of the Divine magnet which is already visible with the arrival of increasing number of devotees day by day since His Mahasamadhi.

WHY SHOULD WE HAVE MAHASAMADHI DARSHAN?

Prof.Anil Kumar answers this question which I am sure will inspire many.

The Story behind this Photo.

This photograph depicts the vibhuti abhisheka, performed by Sai Baba during festivals, especially MahaShivarathri - the night dedicated to Shiva, part of the Hindu Trinity. Brahma is the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer of illusion and untruth.

Before Sai Baba put his hand into the urn, it was held upside down by a devotee, so that all could see that the urn was empty. Sai Baba would then roll up both sleeves so as to further show lack of trickery. Once he had put his hand in the urn, Sai Baba would move his hand and arm vigorously and large amounts of vibhuti would pour out. Professor N. Kasturi, Sai Baba's biographer, often held the urn. He observed that once Sai Baba inserted his hand into the urn, it instantly became much heavier. Likewise, when Sai Baba withdrew his hand, vibhuti immediately stopped pouring out and Kasturi would be surprised by the fact that the urn would suddenly feel quite light once again.

The late Dick Bock, who produced the early films about Sai Baba, recorded this event and commented that it was almost stranger when Sai Baba took his hand out of the urn and stopped the flow of vibhuti, as the gushing out of vibhuti began to feel like the normal state.

Although one cannot see it in this picture, the vibhuti is being poured over a silver statue of Shirdi Sai Baba, the first of the triple Sai incarnation, who died in 1918. The amount of vibhuti produced in the vibhuti abhiskeka is so great that not only the statue of Shirdi Sai is covered, but so also is the floor.

Milagro Divino en Nueva York_Divine Miracle in New York

Sai Ram - Divine Miracle in New York

On Wednesday,May 04, 2011 on the 11th day of Bhagawan's Mahasamadhi, the Devotees in New York were cooking Prasadam for Bhagawan to distribute it to others after placing it near Swami's Altar.

Suddenly one of them noticed that on an inaccessible glass window approximately seven foot high, a symbol of OM had miraculously manifested itself. The OM symbol was drawn in the most artistic, exquisite, and divine manner. It was in such fine precision that it could not have been drawn by an Human person

When everyone was marveling at this Divine Miracle of Bhagawan, on the adjacent window Swami's two blessing hand prints or Abhaya Hasta Mudra suddenly manifested in a gesture of Bhagawan's Divine Blessings. The size of the palms were the same dimensions of as those of Bhagawan's.

All devotees and volunteers who were present on the occasion were blessed with the opportunity to witness this miraculous occurence. Also since it was raining outside, both of these imprints could be viewed very clearly.

Every one of Bhagawan's Divine Miracle's after Bhagawan's Physical Body has passed away is a Divine sign that Bhagawan is with all of us at all times and guiding us.

Photos of this Wonderful Divine Miracle is attached with this mail..

Retrospectiva (2011): Jan - febrero - marzo - abril - mayo - junio - julio - agosto - septiembre

Actualizado Viernes, 08 de octubre 2011 - 22:08 Hrs. IST

Odisha has had a long and loving relationship with Prasanthi Nilayam with Bhagawan having a special soft corner for Sevadal from the state. The youth and Balvikas from the state have come on a special pilgrimage in which they have volunteered to be of additional service in the way of ashram cleaning and other chores.

This morning they held a rath yatra for Bhagawan from Shivalayam (His birthplace) to the Vidyagiri Arch. The Rath was accompanied by 108 women carrying Poorna Kumbams (sacred pots), a group of conch blowers and Mridangam (percussion) artists among other devotees representing the folk culture of the state.

In the evening the students of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Baripada, Odisha presented a Dance Drama entitled Konark. The state president Sri P. Jagannath Prasad Rao introduced the days programme. The dance drama started with adorable little athletic kids dressed in yellow dhotis, pink vests and orange turbans with feathers sticking out from their heads playing conches and making pyramid formations with great dexterity.

This was followed by a choreography of little girls dressed in red and white who after a few steps freeze into stone even as a few tourists arrive to the Konark temple.

These stones came back to life and explain to the tourists their history, the story of King Narasinghadev who conceived a temple shaped as a gigantic chariot to the Sun God, Surya, with twelve pairs of exquisitely ornamental wheels pulled by seven horses, the story of the 1200 highly skilled sculptors who took 12 years to complete it but were at their wits end to install the Kalasam atop the temple, the story of Dharma, the brave 12 year old son of the chief sculptor who accomplishes the task and jumps to his death to save the reputation of the clan.

The skit was succeeded by a devotional music programme by the Sai Youth of Odisha entitled, "Sai Symphony". Starting with a Stotram, "Pathri grama samudbhootam", they continued with "Ram Bhajan Kar Mann", "Sai Teri Yaad Mahasukhdayee", "Sai Divya Roopam" and "Aditya Deva" before concluding with "Allah Tu".

The programme was followed by Bhajans. Sarees and clothes were offered to the participants. Prasadam was distributed to all.
