CHENNAI: Sin elenco final a su crédito, una película recientemente logró hacer olas gigantes en Andhra Pradesh.
Una película sobre la promulgación de la vida de uno de los Santos más seguido del país, Sathya Sai Baba. Esta película de Sathya Sai Baba sobre la que tanto se habla, se puso en marcha en Chennai el viernes, en presencia del primer ciudadano del estado, el gobernador.

"Desde el equipo de la película, hubo alguna duda en acercarse a mí para componer música para una película sobre Baba, cuando se sabe que soy un devoto de Ramana Maharshi.
Pero yo estuve de acuerdo. Dios es sólo uno. El verdadero Dios es aquel que es común a todos ", respondió el músico, quien dijo que su música sería la situación impulsada por la película.

CHENNAI: With no finalised star cast to its credit, a film recently managed to make giant waves in Andhra Pradesh. A film in which the star who acted would be revered for not being who he is, but for merely playing his part: enacting the life of one of the most-followed godmen of the country, Baba Sathya Sai. This much-talked about film Baba Sathya Sai was launched in Chennai on Friday, in the presence of the state's first citizen, the governor.
Tamil Nadu’s contribution to the film will be Ilayaraja, a musician whose music continues to mesmerise millions. “From the film crew, there was some hesitation in approaching me to compose music for a film on Baba, when it is known that I am a devotee of Ramana Maharishi. But I agreed. God can be only one. The true God is one who is common to all,” replied the musician, who said his music would be situation-driven for the film. The movie is directed by Kodi Ramakrishna, the Telugu filmmaker who has done more than a 100 films, including Amman (Ammoru in Telugu) and the recent blockbuster Arundhathi (2009).
Speaking to media persons after launching the film, Governor K Rosaiah said the film would take the fame and feats of the spiritual leader to more people across the globe. Recalling the many occasions that he had the chance to meet Sathya Sai Baba, the Governor said it was a new experience every time and could be accomplished only after trying hard for his darshans. “The coming together of director Kodi Ramakrishna, musician Ilayaraja and producer Karatam Rambabu for this film is like the triveni sangamam,” he said.
The movie’s cast will be announced soon, said filmmaker Ramakrishna, adding that it would feature stars who had appeal across the country. The movie is said to be planned in seven languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Bengali and English, apart from Telugu. Baba Sathya Sai is being produced by Karatam Rambabu under the banner of Sowbhagya Chitra.
