In 2015 a Satsang held in the divine presence at California, USA. A devotee seeks Swami's guidance on many challenges one faces while serving in America.
And here is what Swami said:
America is already changing from what is was. However, it is the greed and selfishness that makes it do things like those you mentioned. It is not that something is right or something is wrong. However, everything is driven by commerce, and profit becomes the motivating force. Anybody who comes in between companies and their profits are not allowed to function. That is all it is. You will soon find a place where you can do your work. As long as you do your work sincerely, I will help. As soon as America is ready, you can always come back and do your work in America, too. Today, distance is not a matter of concern. You can do a lot of work. Tomorrow, we are going to have a conference and they will discuss how you can be here, and yet you can do a lot of work elsewhere. You can always be here, and still do things for people in other countries where they are willing to accept. Until America is awake, you can operate like this.

Selfless In Spite of Being Needy
During an interactive session with the school children, the Annapoorna volunteers and school teachers were pleasantly surprised to note how the children had planned to serve the society in various ways when they grow up to be adults.
Most of the children had selfless reasons to choose a certain profession or qualification that they showed interest towards. In addition, other accounts of selflessness displayed by various children in their daily life were shared in the class, thereby encouraging them and praising them for their selfless attitude.

The Gift of Love for a Brighter Future
The rising cost of education threatens the children of today. Coupled with an unstable economy and an ever-increasing cost of living, the financial strain imposed on families with school children is immense. The Outreach Program of Sri Lanka which supports the education of underprivileged children came across a very talented young girl who desperately needed essential resources including school uniform, shoes, stationery and the ability to pay for tuition classes - to name a few - all of which are required to further her in academic excellence.

The youth from the Middle East region get highly spirited when it comes to the word “Seva”. As Bhagawan lovingly reminds them over and over again that it is through service to mankind one can win the Grace of God and escape from mortal coils of Maya. Swami says, “The need of the hour is to see the Divinity in others and serve them as you serve Swami and by practicing this on a larger scale the world will be at Peace.”
Team One
A group of youth and elderly members have been assembling on Fridays to serve their under-privileged brothers who work for a construction company. Their faces glow with beautiful smiles to see the youth coming with kits of varied sizes to meet them and share their tokens of Love!

Being grateful to Swami is what I have learnt throughout my experiences with Him. I have learnt to rely on Him incessantly regarding everything that I do; being in Swami’s Presence is constant.
Contemplating on my journey of transformation through Seva, I have realised that Swami has lovingly guided me to change my inner self. Seva has brought me to appreciate, and reminded me of, the simple teachings of Swami. To see God everywhere, in everything and in the process to realise that we too are just like Him!
