La historia detrás de la imagen: Fácil manera de cantar el Vishnu Sahasra Namam.
El actual estilo de vida día es muy agitada y la gente no tiene tiempo para las prácticas espirituales elaboradas. Parece que los dioses habían previsto esta eventualidad. En el Vishnu Sahasra Nama, la Madre Parvathi hace esta pregunta al Señor Maheswara:
Kēnōpāyēna laghunā viṣhṇōrnāmasahasrakam |
paṭhyatē paṁḍitairnityaṁ śrōtumicchāmyahaṁ prabhō | | 26 | |
Parvati dijo:
Estoy deseosa de saber, oh Señor,
Como los sabios de este mundo,
Cantaremos sin falta,
Estos mil nombres,
Por un método que es fácil y rápido. (Laguna significa forma fácil).
La respuesta del Señor Maheswara,
"Srirama calma Ramet Rame Rame Manorama |
sahasranāmatattulyaṁ Ramanama varānanē | |
El Señor Shiva dijo:
Por cantar Rama Rama y Rama,
El canto del nombre de Rama,
Equivale a cantar los mil nombres!

The present day life style is very hectic and people have no time for elaborate spiritual practises. It seems that Gods had foreseen this eventuality. In the Vishnu Sahasra Nama, Mother Parvathi asks this question to Lord Maheswara:
Kēnōpāyēna laghunā viṣhṇōrnāmasahasrakam |
paṭhyatē paṁḍitairnityaṁ śrōtumicchāmyahaṁ prabhō || 26 ||
Parvathi said:
I am desirous to know oh Lord,
How the scholars of this world,
Will chant without fail,
These thousand names,
By a method that is easy and quick. (Laguna means easy way).
Lord Maheswara replies,
“Srīrāma rāma rāmēti ramē rāmē manōramē |
sahasranāmatattulyaṁ rāmanāma varānanē ||
Lord Shiva said:
By chanting Rama Rama and Rama,
Chanting of the name Rama ,
Is equivalent to chanting the thousand names!
