Oración a Ganesha - Shuklam-Baradharam Vishnum ...

Sasivarnam significa que Su tez es de color gris como el de la ceniza.
Chathurbhujam que tiene cuatro manos.
Esto significa que, además de las dos manos visibles, tiene dos manos invisibles que están disponibles para los dos usos divinos (1) Bendición del devoto, y (2) le Protección del peligro. "
Prasannavadhanam (de rostro agraciado). El rostro representa la calma interior, la felicidad y el equilibrio, la gracia y la misericordia interior, la conciencia de la fuerza y la soberanía.
Sarvavighnopasaanthaye, significa para elimina todos los obstáculos.
Dhyaayeth, meditar (en él) que elimina todas las malas cualidades, inculca buenas cualidades y confiere paz a el devoto. "

In His Ganesha Chathurthi Discourse in 1971, Swami said: “To get rid of delusion and enable man to comprehend his inherent divine nature, the ancient sages taught a prayer. This prayer is the one that is addressed to Lord Ganesha.
Shuklam-Baradharam Vishnum Shashivarnam Chaturbhujam
Prasanna Vadhanam Dhyayeth Sarva Vighnopa-Shantaye
Suklaambaradharam means one who is clad in white. This is the symbol of purity…universal love and compassion. Vishnum is the second attribute ascribed to Him. Vishnu means that He is present everywhere, at all times... Sasivarnam means His complexion is grey like that of ash. Chathurbhujam (Four-handed) is the next denotation. This means that apart from two visible hands, He has two invisible hands that are available for the two divine uses of (1) Blessing the devotee, and (2) Guarding him from danger. ”
What does Prasanna Vadhanam mean?
Swami further describes: The last description is: Prasannavadhanam (of graceful countenance). The countenance depicts the inner calm, happiness and balance, inner grace and mercy, the consciousness of strength and sovereignty. Sarvavighnopasaanthaye means for the removal of all obstacles. Dhyaayeth, meditate (on Him) who removes all bad qualities, instills good qualities and confers peace on the devotee.”
