En nuestra relación con Bhagavan, no están a menudo tentados a tomar las cosas por sentado, casi sin comprender que él era el comandante supremo del universo cósmico?
Sus tarjetas de visita 'son muchas, las experiencias con él, son muchas, pero el hombre a menudo torpemente, no conoce verdaderamente quien es él ... El es la meta de toda penitencia ...
La familiaridad engendra a menudo una actitud que nos tienta a dar todo por sentado algo.
Rabin Diyali Kumar, un antiguo estudiante, tuvo la buena fortuna de aprender una profunda lección en este sentido, directamente de nuestro Señor Todopoderoso ...fue un incidente 26 inviernos atrás.
Cuando me siento solo, en un estado de ánimo más pensativo, tratando de repasar mentalmente mi vida de estudiante, a Sus Pies de Loto, el pensamiento que surge, son los siete preciosos veranos que pase en los portales de este paraíso. Es increíble ... parece que fue ayer que me incorporé a la universidad de Bhagavan. En verdad se olvida el tiempo, cuando uno está viviendo con la eternidad misma.
La idea me da alegría con un dejo de tristeza, porque cuando trato de asomarme a lo más recóndito de mi corazón para encontrar el resplandor de su amor, a la vez descubro que él ha sido inquebrantable en su amor generoso hacia mí.
Inspira saber que Él es el camino y la meta para todos nosotros, sin el cual nuestra vida no tiene un sentido , y no llegaríamos a entender su amor.
En varias ocasiones, Él nos ha recordado la divinidad en él y que no nos dejemos engañar por las apariencias externas.
A través de parábolas y ejemplos, chistes y cuentos, ha tratando constantemente de hacernos entender que la verdad esta en todos nosotros.
Hay un momento de oro, cuando vino ha mi vida en una mañana brillante. El día fue el 7 de noviembre de 1984. Todos estábamos esperando con impaciencia el Darshan de Swami. Cuando salió, llamo a cuatro chicos y yo era uno de los afortunados. Swami nos indico que fuéramos a la antesala en el Mandir, al parecer para limpiar y ordenar la habitación.
Después de dar la vuelta entre los devotos y otorgarles el darshan tan codiciado, Swami vino directamente a la habitación, donde nos dedicábamos a limpiar el lugar. Todos nos quedamos delante de Él con las manos juntas. Swami en su forma divina característica, procedió a concedernos uno de los momentos más raros de nuestras vidas.
Swami señaló una piel de venado que estaba arrollada en un estante, se dirigió a uno de los muchachos, y dijo: "Tomarías esa piel de venado para hacer Tapasya en los Himalaya ?" Por un momento el chico se quedó perplejo. Y pese..."¿Realmente que quiere decir? Swami está hablando en serio o está haciendo una broma agradable? ..."Hubo silencio por unos segundos, mientras Swami esperaba una respuesta de nosotros. Swami me miró y me preguntó: "¿Es bueno hacer Tapasya en los Himalaya?" Pronto le dije: "Sí, Swami." ...Pero esta respuesta no le satisfizo.
Él mismo dijo: "No te das cuenta de que el resultado de todos los Tapasya está aquí?", Y señaló a sí mismo.
Él nos dio una idea de su divinidad y demostró que no hay necesidad de hacer Tapasya en los Himalayas, cuando el objeto de todos los esfuerzos estaba justo en frente de nosotros en carne y hueso.Y añadió: "Cada vez que doy darshan a los que se dedican a hacer penitencias en los Himalayas, aunque sea por unos segundos, se sienten muy feliz por haber logrado la visión de Dios. Y ellos lo consideran como una gran experiencia. Pero todos ustedes están teniendo Mi darshan cada mañana y tarde, sin embargo, nunca se dan cuenta del valor del mismo. "
Dio un ejemplo aún más hermoso. "Siempre que las personas desean ver a un elefante van al bosque. Y por casualidad, si ven incluso la cola de un elefante, cuyo cuerpo podría haber estado oculto entre los matorrales y arbustos, sienten una inmensa alegría de haber visto a un elefante. En tu caso, hay un elefante (Sai Gita) en frente de su albergue. Pero no le dan importancia al verla, porque es un espectáculo familiar ".
Debemos darnos cuenta del valor de su Darshan Divino. Puesto que hemos sido bendecidos con la oportunidad de estar cerca de Él, debemos hacer el mejor uso de todos y cada momento de nuestra vida aquí. A veces, puede ser confundido por la ignorancia y la desesperación. En esos momentos de debilidad, debemos orar a Swami por su gracia benigna, para que siempre podamos sentir su presencia dentro de nosotros.

“Do you not realise that the Result of all Tapasya is Here?”
In our relationship with Bhagawan are we not often tempted to take things for granted, practically failing to understand Him to be the Supreme Commander Of the Cosmic Universe!?! His ‘visiting cards’ are many, experiences with Him are many, yet man often fumbles failing to know the Truth That He Is…That He Is The Goal Of All Penance…Familiarity often breeds an attitude that tempts us to take Him for granted. Rabin Kumar Diyali, a former student, had the good fortune of learning a profound lesson in this regard, directly from our Mighty Lord…an incident from 26 winters ago.
As I sit alone in a rather pensive mood, attempting a mental resume of my student life at His Lotus Feet, the thought overawes me that, in fact, seven precious summers have passed since I entered the portals of this paradise. It is unbelievable… for was it not only yesterday that I joined Bhagawan’s college? Verily one forgets to keep track of time when one is living with Eternity Itself.
The thought gives me joy with a tinge of sorrow, for when I try to peep into the inner recesses of my heart to find the glow of His Love, I at once discover that He has been unfailing in His bountiful love for me. Inspite of knowing that He is the way and the goal for all of us without Whom our lives would not bear any meaning or taste, we fail to understand His Love.
On a number of occasions, He has reminded us to realise the DIVINITY in Him and not to be deluded by external appearances. Through parables and examples, jokes and stories He has been constantly trying to drive home that TRUTH in all of us.
One such golden moment came in my life on a bright morning. The Day was the 7th of November 1984. All of us were eagerly awaiting Swami’s Darshan. As He came out, He picked up four boys and I was one of the fortunate four. Swami directed us to go to the anteroom in the Mandir apparently to clean and tidy up the room.
After going round the devotees and granting them the much-coveted darshan, Swami came straight into the room, where we were engaged in cleaning the place. We all stood in front of Him with folded hands. Swami in His characteristic and Divine way proceeded to grant us one of the rarest moments of our lives.
Swami pointed to a deerskin which was rolled and kept on a rack, and addressed one of the boys, “Take this deer skin to the Himalayas and do Tapasya there?” For a moment the boy was nonplussed. “Did He really mean it? Is Swami telling seriously or is it meant to be a pleasant joke?” There was silence for a few seconds, while Swami waited for an answer from us. Swami looked at me and asked, “Is it good to do Tapasya in the Himalayas?” I promptly said, “Yes Swami.” But this answer did not satisfy Him. He Himself said, “Do you not realise that the RESULT of all Tapasya is Here?” and pointed at Himself.
He thus gave us a glimpse of His Divinity and showed that there is no need to do Tapasya in the Himalayas when the object of all such endeavours was right in front of us in flesh and blood. He continued, “Whenever I give darshan to those who are engaged in penance in the Himalayas, even for a few seconds, they feel extremely blissful for having attained that Vision Of God. And they regard it as a great experience. But you all are having My darshan every morning and evening, yet, you never realise the value of it.”
He gave further a beautiful illustration. “Whenever people desire to see an elephant they go to the forest. And by chance, if they see even the tail of an elephant whose body might have been hidden among the bushes and shrubs, they feel immense joy at having seen an elephant. In your case, there is an elephant (Sai Geeta) in front of your hostel. But you do not pine to see her, because she is a familiar sight.”
We must realise the value of His Divine Darshan from these examples. Since we are blessed with the opportunity to be near Him, we should make the best use of each and every moment of our life here. Sometimes, we may be confused by delusion and despair. In those weak moments, we must pray to Swami for His benign grace so that we may always feel His presence within us.
