CARTA A LOS MEDIOS HINDÚES POR BOMBAY SRINIVASAN_LETTER FOR tv-9 CHANNEL by Bombay Srinivasan.

Estimado Señor:

Desearía expresar mi opinión en relación a la serie de programas SAI, programación recientemente ofrecida por su canal. Pienso que los canales de televisión deberían ser usados para entretenimiento y educación. La difamación de personalidades no es nada bueno. Cuando Usted trata de hacer su programa solo intenta proyectar mentiras y busca participantes que le sirvan a este propósito. Al invitar personas a apoyar sus exabruptos sensacionalistas siento que también debería invitar a alguien más, para poder poner las cosas en su justa perspectiva. Debiera Usted empezar sabiendo que hay millones y millones de devotos SAI alrededor de todo el mundo y que usted hiere sus sentimientos.
Sai Baba nunca deseó publicidad de ningún tipo, de hecho, ni siquiera deseaba que le defendiéramos de cualquier calumnia o ignominia. Su sola sugerencia era” permanezcan calmados y tengan paciencia pues la verdad siempre prevalecerá”. Sí, su nombre es SATHYA! La verdad y nada más que la verdad, a través de los años hemos visto a muchas personas de la prensa y a los también llamados intelectuales jactándose en su propio ego, esperando que sus opiniones captaran la atención de los medios de comunicación. He visto a muchos desaparecer en la nada, siendo hoy completos desconocidos. Como dice Sai solo la verdad prevalece y el amor de Sai se expande hasta el último recodo de la tierra. Está destinado a ser así ,multiplicandose aun después de su partida de este plano físico.
Varias generaciones atrás, en los medios de comunicación, el gran periodista R.K. KARANJIA, fundador y editor de la revista THE BLITZ, fue un racionalista acérrimo que por muchos años bombardeaba sin cesar ni escrúpulos a Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba; inclusive apadrinaba a muchos para que acudieran a desafiar a Bhagawan Baba según desearan.





El destino llevo una vez al Sr. Karanjia hasta la divina presencia. Él al menos se tomó la iniciativa de ir personalmente hasta el valle para examinar a Sai Baba de cerca. Luego de unos cuantos días en Prashanti Nylayam y de atestiguar a Bhagawan en acción reconoció su locura, sin ningún tipo de reserva y alabó a Sai Baba como una entidad divina. Su máxima fue: fui, vi y salí conquistado. Bhagawan graciosamente le concedió la oportunidad de entrevistarle, fue la primera y la última vez que algún periodista pudiera hacerle preguntas. El publicó una versión inédita en la revista Blitz. En caso de que lo quieran leerla pueden hacerlo dentro del libro DIOS VIVE EN INDIA. SI no pueden conseguirla o necesitan mi ayuda por favor contáctenme y yo les pondré a su disposición la copia de esa parte del libro para que la puedan leer. Es una gran historia, de tiempos modernos, donde podemos ver la conversión de un racionalista a devoto de Dios.
Yo ni tan siquiera le reclamo que cese este desatino en contra de la persona divina de Bhagawan, como periodista posee el privilegio de la libertad de expresión, pero reconsidere, pues esta libertad no debe ser usada para ofender ni lastimar los sentimientos, creencias ni fe de los otros. No es apropiado comentar sobre alguien con gríngolas sino con el análisis adecuado. Si Usted considera que esta acción le atraerá más audiencia, adelante continúe………. gane cada vez más y más. Pero le sugeriría una cosa: invite también a personalidades asociadas a SAI por décadas! para que ellos también puedan exponer su versión y ofrecerles acceso a la misma libre expresión que usted regala a los que le difaman. Con mi limitado conocimiento en espiritualidad yo tampoco le creía a Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, yo sin embargo, pude no haber creído, pero nunca pronuncié palabras para desacreditarlo. Luego de un escrupuloso escrutinio y muchas comprobaciones, no me quedó otro remedio que aceptarlo como divino, y como mi guía a través de todo asunto y/o labor espiritual.






Déjeme enumerarle algunas de mis ganancias al asociarme a Bhagawan Baba. Los ginecólogos más afamados de Bombay habían certificado que mi esposa no era capaz de concebir. Por su gracia no solo tuve uno sinó dos hijos! Él personalmente los inició en el Gayatri, se encargó de su educación hasta el nivel de maestría en su universidad, y me salvó tres veces de fatales desenlaces cardiacos. Yo soy prueba fehaciente de su divinidad… ¿y qué le he dado yo a cambio? Ni un solo centavo! a cambio recibí el regalo mas preciado: su divino amor!
Existen millones de devotos como yo a través de todo el planeta cada cual con sus experiencias y vivencias propias. Sus últimas transmisiones solo añaden al dolor de su partida física. Es vergonzoso, sus recientes transmisiones unilaterales, basadas en hechos recopilados de transeúntes cualquieras de las aceras de Puttaparthi.
Le sugiero invite también a devotos a su panel para que puedan proveer información correcta y verdadera. Por favor coloque los hechos completos delante de los televidentes de su audiencia en justa perspectiva. Como devoto de Baba por más de 40 años estaría interesado en participar en su panel si así lo desea. En el futuro si desea transmitir programas sobre Sai de buena lid estaría feliz de ayudarle a hacer series. Poseo mucho material informativo si decide mostrar trabajo positivo y digno de de ser transmitido.

I am referring to the series of programmes on SAI, telecast recently on your channel.
TV channels, I believe, should be best used for entertainment, and educative.
Character assassination is not good.
When you try to put on a programme, you are trying to project only falsehoods, and you search for participants, who will suit you for this purpose. When you invite a person to support your sensational outbursts, I feel that you should also invite somebody who can put things in proper perspective.
You should know that there are millions and millions of Sai devotees spread over the globe, and you are hurting their feelings. SAI Baba did not wish to go for publicity; In fact, He was not allowing us to defend on his behalf. His only advise to us is that "Keep cool, have patience and that TRUTH WILL PREVAIL". Yes, his name is SATHYA, the Truth, nothing but TRUTH!
Over the years, we had seen many many media peoples and the so called intellectuals, who were gloating on their ego, hoping that their views will catch the attention of the media. I have seen many of them vanishing into thin air, and presently there are no traces of such people. But as Sai says, the truth prevails, and the love of SAI is spreading to every nook and corner of the earth. It is bound to be so, many fold, even after His exit from his physical plane.
In the media world, couple generations ago, there was the great journalist, Mr. R.K Karanjia, founder, Editor of “THE BLITZ”. A rationalist for many years, had criticized Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, recklessly. He had, even, sponsored many individuals who tried to challenge Bhagavan Baba in their own terms. Destiny brought Mr. Karanjia in the Divine presence. At least He took initiative to go personally to the valley and examine Sai Baba. After staying for few days in Prashanthi Nilayam and witnessing Bhagavan in action, he accepted his folly without any reservation and extolled that Sai Baba is a Divine entity. His judgment in nutshell was “I went, I saw, But I was conquered.” Bhagavan graciously granted him a chance to interview Him, the first and the last time for any journalist to question. He published unedited version of the interview in BLITZ magazine. In case you wish to read it, please procure the copy of the Book, “God Lived in India”. If you could not get a copy, or need my help, please contact me and I shall make available the text copy of the book, to read on. It is great story of the modern times, when a strong rationalist becoming a devotee of believer of God!!
I will not plead that you should stop this misadventure. It is a privileged freedom to express as a journalist. But this freedom should not be used to hurt anybody's feelings, belief and faith. It is not decent to comment on anybody with blind shots, with proper examination. .If you feel that this adventure will fetch your media more revenue, then please go ahead, and earn more and more.
But one thing I would suggest is that you should also invite some personalities, who are associated with SAI over many years, so that they can also put in their version and allow them a chance to express..
With my limited knowledge on spiritualism I too was not believing Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. I might not have believed, but had never uttered any word to discredit the personality. After close scrutiny and lots of verifications, I had no other way, but to accept him as Divine, and as my guide to take me through the spiritual endeavors.
I shall tell you a small resume of my gains through the associations of Bhagavan Baba. The top gynecologists in Mumbai had long back had certified that my wife will not be able to conceive. By His grace, I got not one but two sons. He initiated them into Gayathri, arranged their education upto MBA level in His University, saved me three times from the fatal heart deceases. I had much more experience to prove of Baba’s divinity. And, what I had given Him? Nothing! Not a single penny!! And the most precious gift he gave me was His Divine Love.
There are millions of devotees like me, across the globe. Each has their own experiences. Your recent telecasts had hurt their feelings. It is a one sided report based on facts collected from street walkers in the lanes of Puttaparthi.
I suggest, please do invite somebody as Sai devotees, in the panel, who can provide you truthful information. Please place the entire facts before the audience/viewers in correct prospective.
As a devotee of Baba for over 40 years, I am willing to participate in your panel, if you desire so.
In future, with a good sense, if you wish telecast some good programmes on SAI, I will be happy to help you to build up serials. I have plenty of materials including videos clips on Swami, which I can make available to you, if you will decide to do positive and worthwhile stories to be telecast.

Press Release by Trustees of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust

1. Ever since Bhagavan Baba was admitted to the hospital there has been a flurry of news reports in the print and electronic media about His health, Treatment, His attaining Mahasamadhi, and the subsequent opening of his private chambers in Yajur Mandiram.The Trustees of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, are issuing this statement in order to give a true and fair picture of the events.

2. Recently the first floor of the Yajur Mandir was accessed and cash, gold, silver and jewellery valued at approximately Rs. 30 crores were duly inventoried on June 16th and 17, 2011 and deposited into the Bank. Whatever is deposited with the bank is brought into the Books of Account of the Central Trust. The trust is not taking any technical plea and the entire leviable income tax there on of Rs 9.5 Crores has been paid by the Trust as advance tax today.
3. The inventory was done in the presence of all the Trustees (among whom there was a former Chief Justice of India and a former Central Vigilance Commissioner), two members of the Council of Management and two retired judges – one of the Supreme Court and the other from the Karnataka/ Bombay High Court. The valuation was done concurrently by a valuer approved by the Government of India.

4. On the night of 18th June it was reported in the electronic media that an amount of Rs. 35 lakhs was recovered by the Police from a vehicle going from Puttaparthi to Bangalore. The seizure was from an employee of a company which was entrusted the task of supervising the construction of the Mahasamadhi for Bhagawan Baba in Sai Kulwant Hall in Prasanthi Nilayam. The money had been contributed by a group of devotees for the construction of Mahasamadhi. Both the donors and the recipient have confirmed this fact in writing . Two employees of the company were arrested on mere " suspicion". On. June 19, 2011 one more person, a driver of Mr V Srinivasan(a Trustee) was arrested by the police from a bus in which he was travelling. No seizure of cash or valuables was made by the Police from him. He was also arrested on mere "suspicion". These events were widely reported and commented upon in the media with many innuendos.

5. The seized money does not belong to the Trust but is the money given by devotees for being used for the Mahasamadhi work. This had been confirmed by Sri Rathnakar and Sri V Srinivasan, Trustees. All receipts and all payments from and into the the Trust are only through cheques, DDs or other financial instruments.
6. It was also reported by the press that on a subsequent date two sack loads of money between Rs 5 and 10 Crores was recovered from two passengers in a bus going to Bangalore. This is completely false. No such seizure tool place. The Police have not denied the incorrect report. Subsequently the media never published a retraction that their earlier report was inaccurate -- leaving the incorrect report in the public realm.
7. The media has also been misreporting several other matters. When Justice Bhagwathi demitted office as Trustee( due to a legal requirement) of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Education Trust in order to take charge as the Chancellor of the university it was wrongly reported that he resigned from the Central Trust.
8. Another report described that Sri Indulal Shah was distancing himself from the Trust. This version is wholly untrue and Sri Shah has been actively involving himself in all Trust matters and has attended every meeting of the Trustees, including the meeting held last evening.
9. There was another totally mischievous and false report in the Press that government cars are being used for transporting cash across the state borders. There is no truth in this. But after publishing an incorrect statement the press never retracted even when it had no evidence to support its inaccurate report.
10. It was also widely reported that there was a ‘will’ of Swami. There was even a reference to an ‘oral will’, a concept which is unknown to law .
11. The print media and some electronic media put out reports of the ‘arrest’ of Sri V Srinivasan. This is wholly false. He was never arrested. He was in his house in Chennai. It was then reported that a senior police officer had stated that Mr V Srinivasan was absconding. When contacted by Mr V Srinivasan the said officer denied having made any such statement. He informed the Press; but his statement was never published
12. It was reported in a leading national daily on the front page that Mr Naganand, a member of the Council of Management had stated that Bhagawan Baba had left a will directing that Sri Sathyajit should be given a prominent position in The Trust. This statement was denied in writing by Mr Naganand: the denial was not published.
13. The Trustees recognize the need for public dissemination of information and the Right to Information is enshrined in the legislation of the country; but that is no license for inaccurate reporting. The role of the Fourth Estate is important in a democracy. The Trust has been alive to the legitimate desire to purvey information and yet strike a balance between transparency and privacy while emphasising truth.
14. The Trust would like to assure the public that all institutions set up by Bhagawan Baba will be administered well and transparently and that they will uphold all the ideals of Bhagavan Baba. The public are requested not to be misled by false propaganda.

Comunicado de prensa por el Trust Sri Sathya Sai Central 

1. Desde que Bhagavan Baba fue ingresado en el hospital se ha producido un aluvión de noticias en los medios impresos y electrónicos, por su salud, tratamiento, su  Mahasamadhi, y la posterior apertura de sus habitaciones  privadas en el Yajur Mandiram.

El Sri SathyaSai Central Trust, ha emitido una declaración con el fin de dar una imagen fiel de los acontecimientos.

2. Recientemente, el primer piso del Yajur Mandir fue visitado, y dinero en efectivo, oro, plata y joyas por valor de aproximadamente Rs. 30 millones de rupias fueron debidamente  inventariados el 16 y 17 de junio de 2011 y depositado en el Banco. Lo que está depositado en el banco se pone en los libros de contabilidad del Fideicomiso Central. 

La organización con sus técnicos ha abonado la totalidad del impuesto de ingresos imponibles de 9,5 crores de rupias, que han sido pagados por el Fondo, como retención .

3. El inventario se realizó en presencia de todos los fideicomisarios (entre los cuales había un ex Presidente del Tribunal Supremo de la India y antiguo Comisario Central de Vigilancia), dos miembros del Consejo de Administración y por dos jueces jubilados - uno de la Corte Suprema y el otro de la Corte de Karnataka / Bombay. La valoración se realiza al mismo tiempo por un tasador aprobado por el Gobierno de la India.

4. En la noche del 18 de junio se informó en los medios electrónicos que la suma de Rs. 35 lakhs fue recuperado por la policía desde un vehículo que iba de  Puttaparthi a Bangalore. La incautación fue de un empleado de la empresa, que se encargaba de la tarea de la construcción del Mahasamadhi de Bhagavan Baba en Sai Kulwant Hall en Prashanti Nilayam. El dinero había sido aportado por un grupo de devotos para la construcción de Mahasamadhi. Tanto los países donantes y receptores han confirmado este hecho por escrito. El 19 de junio 2011 a una persona más, un conductor de Mr V Srinivasan (un administrador), fue detenido por la policía en un autobús en el que viajaba. De no fue secuestrado, ni  dinero en efectivo y ni objetos de valor por la Policía . También fue arrestado por mera "sospecha". 

Estos hechos fueron ampliamente difundido y comentado en los medios de comunicación con muchas insinuaciones.

5. El dinero incautado no pertenece a la Fundación, pero es el dinero dado por los devotos para ser utilizado en la construcción del Mahasamadhi. Esto ha sido confirmado por Sri  Rathnakar y V Srinivasan, Síndicos. Todos los recibos y todos los pagos desde y hacia el Fideicomiso son sólo a través de cheques, u otros instrumentos financieros.

6. También se informó por la prensa, que en una fecha posterior dos sacos de dinero entre R 5 y 10 crores se recuperó a partir de dos pasajeros en un autobús que va a Bangalore. Esto es completamente falso. Solo eran  herramientas. La policía no ha negado el informe incorrecto. Posteriormente, los medios nunca publicó una retractación de que su anterior informe era inexacto - dejando el informe incorrecto en el ámbito público.

7. Los medios de comunicación también han cometido errores en otros varios asuntos. Cuando el juez Bhagwathi dimitido el cargo de administrador (debido a un requisito legal) de la Instituto Sri Sathya Sai de Educación Superior, con el fin de hacerse cargo como Canciller de la universidad se informó, erróneamente, que renunció a la Fundación Central.

8. Otro informe describe que Sri Indulal Shah fue distanciándose de la Fundación. Esta versión es totalmente falsa y Sri Shah ha estado activamente y se involucra en todos los asuntos y ha asistido a todas las reuniones del Trust, incluida la reunión celebrada ayer por la tarde.

9. Otro dicho totalmente malicioso y falso de la prensa, es que los coches del gobierno están siendo utilizados para el transporte de dinero en efectivo a través de las fronteras del Estado. No es verdad esto. Pero después de la publicación de una declaración incorrecta la prensa nunca se retractó, incluso cuando no tenía ninguna evidencia para apoyar su informe inexacto.

10. También fue informado ampliamente de que había una "voluntad" de Swami. Había incluso una referencia a un "testamento oral", un concepto que no se conoce en las leyes.

11. La prensa escrita y algunos medios de comunicación electrónicos, hablaron e informaron de la "detención" de Sri V Srinivasan. Esto es totalmente falso. Nunca fue detenido. Estaba en su casa en Chennai. Se informó entonces que un oficial de policía había declarado que el Sr. V Srinivasan se fugo. Cuando fue contactado por el Sr. V Srinivasan dicho funcionario negó haber hecho tal declaración. Se informó a la prensa, pero su declaración no se publicó

12. Se informó en un diario de circulación nacional líder, en la primera página, que el Sr. Naganand, miembro del Consejo de Administración había declarado que Bhagavan Baba, había dejado un testamento que la orden de que Sri Sathyajit  debía darsele un lugar destacado en el fideicomiso. Esta declaración fue rechazada por escrito por el Sr. Naganand: la negación no se ha publicado.

13. La Administración reconoce la necesidad de la difusión pública de información, y el derecho a la información está contemplado en la legislación del país, pero eso no es licencia para la presentación de informes inexactos. El papel del Cuarto Poder es importante en una democracia. El Fondo ha estado activo para proveer la información, y sin embargo, encontrar un equilibrio entre la transparencia y la privacidad, al tiempo que dice la verdad.

14. El fideicomiso asegura al público que todas las instituciones creadas por Bhagavan Baba se administra bien y transparentes, y que van a defender todos los ideales de Bhagavan Baba. Y le pide al público que no se dejen engañar por la falsa propaganda.

La primera universidad del mundo se estableció en
Takshila en 700 a.C. . Mas de 10.500 estudiantes de
todo el mundo estudiaron a más de 60 universidades. La
Universidad de Nalanda construida en el siglo 4 a. C.
fue uno de los mayores logros de la antigua India
en el campo de la educación.
El sánscrito es la madre de todos los idiomas europeos
. El sánscrito es la lengua más adecuada para

Julio de 1987. 
El Ayurveda es la primera escuela de medicina que
 se conoce de los seres humanos. Charaka, fue el padre de la medicina

Tiempo de Chandragupta Maurya. 
                             El ajedrez (Shataranja o AshtaPada) fue inventado en la India. 
                             Sushruta es el padre de la cirugía. 2600
años atrás y en su tiempo
llevó a cabo cirugías complicadas, como las cesáreas,
 cataratas ,  fracturas, piedras en las vías urinarias
 e incluso la cirugía plástica y cirugía de cerebro. El uso
de la anestesia era muy conocido en la antigua India.
Más de 125 equipos quirúrgicos fueron utilizados. Profundo
conocimiento de la anatomía, la etiología, la embriología, la digestión,
el metabolismo, la genética y la inmunidad, también se encuentran
en muchos textos. 
                             Cuando muchas culturas sólo eran nómadas hace más de 5000 años, la cultura india ya estaba 
establecida en Harappa  Sindhu

                            Magazine, which deals with

                            India never invaded any country in her last
                            100000 years of history.
                            India invented the Number System.
                            Aryabhatta invented zero.
                            The World's first university was established in

Queridos hermanos y hermanas,

Sai Ram!

Sabemos que nuestro amado Swami vive en nuestros corazones. A pesar del caos en el mundo y el tumulto que nos asalta de vez en cuando, él siempre está ahí. Él siempre nos está iluminando,  nos ama, cumpliendo con que cada uno de nosotros tenga que darse cuenta de nuestro Ser Divino.

En este momento, hay un nuevo desafío. Los periódicos han estado haciendo afirmaciones sin fundamento contra el Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust of India. Al hacerlo, han atacado a las grandes obras, las obras divinas, llevada a cabo por nuestro Amado, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

El Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust ha sido responsable de la gestión de todos los gastos inherentes en la prestación de atención médica gratuita, educación, agua y alimentos para las multitudes de pobres durante décadas. El Fondo ha sido responsable de la gestión del mantenimiento de la ashram para el alojamiento de las multitudes de peregrinos espirituales desde hace décadas. Ellos están decididos a continuar con su gestión de las instituciones de Sri Sathya Sai en India y en Prashanti Nilayam en la misma forma ejemplar en que se llevaron a cabo bajo la guía divina de nuestro Amado Swami.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Sai Ram!

We know that our beloved Swami lives in our hearts. Regardless of the chaos in the world and the tumult that assails us from time to time, He is always there. He is always enlightening us, loving us, fulfilling whatever each of us might need to realize our Divine Selves.

At this moment, there is a new challenge. Newspapers have been making unwarranted allegations against the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust of India. In so doing they have assailed the Great Works, The Divine Works, accomplished by our Beloved, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has been responsible for managing all of the expenses entailed in providing free healthcare, education, water, and food for multitudes of poor people for decades. The Trust has been responsible for managing the maintenance of the ashram for the accommodation of multitudes of spiritual pilgrims for decades. This is true and evident for all to see.

These Great Works have been recognized and lauded repeatedly over the years by administrations of political leaders, supreme court justices, heads of state governing all of India, including the current leaders of India. This is true and evident for all to see.

Donations of Sai devotees from India and from all over the world have sponsored these remarkable humanitarian efforts without any solicitation whatsoever. All who are involved in the management of these great works are devotees, spiritual seekers. They have managed the affairs of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust effectively and transparently. This also is true and evident for all to see.

Is it possible that the newspaper reporters have more knowledge and greater wisdom than the men who have led their country for so many years? No, it is not possible! What then is the basis for the outrageous allegations and misinterpretations being perpetrated so irresponsibly?

Let us all recognize with respect, gratitude, and Sai Love the men who have managed the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. They were selected by Swami, Himself. They have remained close by His Side for decades living austerely as His devotees and performing their duties faithfully and effectively. They are resolved to continue their management of the Sri Sathya Sai Institutions in India and Prasanthi Nilayam in the same exemplary manner in which they were run under the Divine Guidance of our Beloved Swami.

Swami's Divine Guidance will always be accessible to everyone. We have merely to seek and we will find.

Let us all pray that Swami's Love and Inner Guidance will enable all of us to rise above these mundane problems and not be distracted from our spiritual quest.

Bhagavan es el Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust_Bhagawan on the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust

Durante los últimos veinte años, los miembros del Fideicomiso Central han venido prestando un servicio desinteresado. Cuando tienen que ir a Madras, Delhi y otros lugares,  viajan por su propia cuenta, pagar sus facturas de hotel y no gastan una sola paisa del Fideicomiso Central. 

En el caso de otros fideicomisos, los miembros  presentan sus proyectos , incluso los gastos de su transporte. 

Los miembros del Sathya Sai Central Trust, hacen uso de los fondos, de una manera absolutamente sagrada. 

Se han publicado informes que los miembros del Trust buscan de poder y posición. Ellos no están interesados en el cargo. No han buscado posición en la vida. Ellos han venido por amor a Swami, y no por cargos y poder.


También se debe observar que los fondos de la Fundación provienen de los bancos. Durante los últimos 20 años ni una sola vez hemos sacado ningún  efectivo del banco. 

Todos los pagos se realizan únicamente mediante cheques. Nuestros profesores del Instituto se les paga sus salarios con cheques, acreditadas en sus cuentas de mes a mes. Las cuentas se manejan de esta manera estricta. 

Se debe a que los fondos se manejan de esta manera pura, que no se ha tenido necesidad de solicitar donaciones. 

Tengo 67 años de edad. Ni una sola vez, he extendido mi mano en busca de cualquier tipo de donación. ¿Cuál es la razón? Cuando estamos inmersos en la tarea sagrada, no hay necesidad de buscar fondos. Nuestra pureza aportará fondos de su propio acuerdo. 

Hay una escasez de hombres íntegros. Cuando haya tales personas no hay ningún problema en absoluto en la obtención de fondos. Ni malgastar ni un solo céntimo de dinero del Trust. 

Hay informes de que algunas decenas de millones de fondos fiduciarios en efectivo han sido tomados por algunas personas. Esto es totalmente falso. 

Nosotros no manejamos dinero en efectivo en absoluto. Si alguien ofrece dinero en efectivo, vemos que el dinero sea entregado al gerente del banco, en presencia de un funcionario de la Organización en la residencia del mismo donante. 

Por lo tanto, nadie puede señalar con un dedo acusador, la forma en que nuestra Organización se maneja. 

En estas circunstancias, es un pecado los cargos en contra de nuestra Organización Central. 

En todo el mundo, usted no puede encontrar ninguna Organización, que se este manejando de esta manera pura. 

Es por eso que nuestras instituciones están creciendo sin cesar. No ahora, sino siempre y hasta que el sol y la luna desaparezcan, no hay peligro para nuestras instituciones.

Esta propaganda se debe a la frustración nacida de la envidia. En el ambiente tranquilo que se vive aquí, este tipo de propagandas han causado perturbación. Esto es altamente pecaminoso. 

No es bueno disfrutar de tales actos. Hay que hacer el bien si se puede, pero si no, permanecer en silencio.  Pero no es bueno hacer daño. Algunos se preguntarán por qué Swami se había abstenido hasta ahora de responder a los difamadores. Para todo hay un momento preciso.

Los Kauravas, por ejemplo, fueron acosando a los Pandavas de muchas maneras, insultándolos y humillándolos. Los Kauravas eran muy conscientes de las potencias de los divinos Pandavas . Cada uno de los hermanos Paandava era un hombre de gran poder. Pero ellos no hicieron uso de su fuerza. Llevaban sus problemas en silencio. Los Kauravas atribuían  este silencio a la cobardía y debilidad. Pero esto no fue así. Nadie puede darse cuenta de la fuerza que subyace a la paciencia. 

Asimismo, el Fideicomiso Sathya Sai optó por mantener la paciencia. Esta tolerancia representa el coraje, la fuerza, la verdad y la no violencia. Por la paciencia, la gente buena alcanza sus objetivos en el momento oportuno. Por lo tanto, no se preocupe por lo que ha sucedido. Estas cosas suceden en el mundo de vez en cuando.

For the past twenty years, the members of the Central Trust have been rendering selfless service. When they have to go to Madras. Delhi or other places, they travel at their own expense, pay their hotel bills and do not draw a single paisa from the Central Trust. In the case of other trusts, the members submit their bills even for their conveyance charges. The Sathya Sai Central Trust members are using the funds in such an utterly sacred manner. Reports have been published that the trust members are after power and position. They are not interested in office. They have not lacked positions in life. They have come out of love for Svaami, and not for any position.


You must also note how the funds of the Trust are drawn from banks. During the past 20 years not once have we drawn any cash from the bank. All payments are made only by cheques. Our Institute teachers are paid their salaries not by cheques but by the amounts beings credited to their accounts from month to month. The accounts are being maintained in this strict manner. It is because the funds are handled in this pure manner that we have not sought or have had any need to solicit donations. This body is now 67 years old. Not once have I stretched My hand to seek any donation. What is the reason? When we are engaged in sacred task, there is no need to seek funds. Our purity will bring in funds of its own accord. There is a dearth of men of integrity. Where there are such persons there is no problem at all in securing funds. I do not misspend even a single naya paisa of Trust money. Nor is there any room in our Trust for anyone else to draw money.

There are reports that some crores of Trust funds in cash have been swallowed by some persons. This is totally false. We do not handle cash at all. If anybody offers cash, we see to it that the money is given to the bank manager in the presence of a Trust official in the residence of the donor himself. Therefore, no one can point an accusing finger at the way our trusts are managed. In these circumstances, it is a sin to level such charges against our Central Trust. In the whole world, you cannot find any Trust that is being managed in this pure manner. That is why our institutions are growing ceaselessly. Not now alone, but as long as the sun and moon last, there is no danger to our institutions.

This propaganda stems from the frustration born of jealousy. In the peaceful atmosphere that was pervading here, such propaganda has caused perturbation. This is highly sinful. It is not good to indulge in such acts. Do good if you can, but if not, remain silent. You will be rendering help if you don't do any harm. But it is not good to do harm. Some may ask why Swami had so far refrained from answering the traducers. For everything there is a right moment.

The Kauravas, for instance, were harassing the Paandavas in many ways, insulting and humiliating them. The Kauravas were well aware of the Paandavas' divine potencies. Each of the Paandava brothers was a man of great prowess. But they did not make use of their strength. They bore their troubles in silence. The Kauravas attribute this silence to cowardice and weakness. But this was not so. No one can realise the strength that underlies forbearance. Likewise The Sathya Sai Trust chose to maintain forbearance. This forbearance represents courage, strength, truth and non-violence. By forbearance, good people will achieve their objectives in due course. Hence, do not worry about what has happened. Such things happen in the world from time to time.
