Durante los últimos veinte años, los miembros del Fideicomiso Central han venido prestando un servicio desinteresado. Cuando tienen que ir a Madras, Delhi y otros lugares, viajan por su propia cuenta, pagar sus facturas de hotel y no gastan una sola paisa del Fideicomiso Central.
Hay informes de que algunas decenas de millones de fondos fiduciarios en efectivo han sido tomados por algunas personas. Esto es totalmente falso.
En el caso de otros fideicomisos, los miembros presentan sus proyectos , incluso los gastos de su transporte.
Los miembros del Sathya Sai Central Trust, hacen uso de los fondos, de una manera absolutamente sagrada.
Se han publicado informes que los miembros del Trust buscan de poder y posición. Ellos no están interesados en el cargo. No han buscado posición en la vida. Ellos han venido por amor a Swami, y no por cargos y poder.
También se debe observar que los fondos de la Fundación provienen de los bancos. Durante los últimos 20 años ni una sola vez hemos sacado ningún efectivo del banco.

Tengo 67 años de edad. Ni una sola vez, he extendido mi mano en busca de cualquier tipo de donación. ¿Cuál es la razón? Cuando estamos inmersos en la tarea sagrada, no hay necesidad de buscar fondos. Nuestra pureza aportará fondos de su propio acuerdo.
Hay una escasez de hombres íntegros. Cuando haya tales personas no hay ningún problema en absoluto en la obtención de fondos. Ni malgastar ni un solo céntimo de dinero del Trust.

Nosotros no manejamos dinero en efectivo en absoluto. Si alguien ofrece dinero en efectivo, vemos que el dinero sea entregado al gerente del banco, en presencia de un funcionario de la Organización en la residencia del mismo donante.
Por lo tanto, nadie puede señalar con un dedo acusador, la forma en que nuestra Organización se maneja.
En estas circunstancias, es un pecado los cargos en contra de nuestra Organización Central.
En todo el mundo, usted no puede encontrar ninguna Organización, que se este manejando de esta manera pura.
Es por eso que nuestras instituciones están creciendo sin cesar. No ahora, sino siempre y hasta que el sol y la luna desaparezcan, no hay peligro para nuestras instituciones.
Esta propaganda se debe a la frustración nacida de la envidia. En el ambiente tranquilo que se vive aquí, este tipo de propagandas han causado perturbación. Esto es altamente pecaminoso.

No es bueno disfrutar de tales actos. Hay que hacer el bien si se puede, pero si no, permanecer en silencio. Pero no es bueno hacer daño. Algunos se preguntarán por qué Swami se había abstenido hasta ahora de responder a los difamadores. Para todo hay un momento preciso.
Los Kauravas, por ejemplo, fueron acosando a los Pandavas de muchas maneras, insultándolos y humillándolos. Los Kauravas eran muy conscientes de las potencias de los divinos Pandavas . Cada uno de los hermanos Paandava era un hombre de gran poder. Pero ellos no hicieron uso de su fuerza. Llevaban sus problemas en silencio. Los Kauravas atribuían este silencio a la cobardía y debilidad. Pero esto no fue así. Nadie puede darse cuenta de la fuerza que subyace a la paciencia.

Asimismo, el Fideicomiso Sathya Sai optó por mantener la paciencia. Esta tolerancia representa el coraje, la fuerza, la verdad y la no violencia. Por la paciencia, la gente buena alcanza sus objetivos en el momento oportuno. Por lo tanto, no se preocupe por lo que ha sucedido. Estas cosas suceden en el mundo de vez en cuando.

In the case of other trusts, the members submit their bills even for their conveyance charges. The Sathya Sai Central Trust members are using the funds in such an utterly sacred manner. Reports have been published that the trust members are after power and position. They are not interested in office. They have not lacked positions in life. They have come out of love for Svaami, and not for any position.
You must also note how the funds of the Trust are drawn from banks. During the past 20 years not once have we drawn any cash from the bank. All payments are made only by cheques. Our Institute teachers are paid their salaries not by cheques but by the amounts beings credited to their accounts from month to month. The accounts are being maintained in this strict manner. It is because the funds are handled in this pure manner that we have not sought or have had any need to solicit donations. This body is now 67 years old. Not once have I stretched My hand to seek any donation. What is the reason? When we are engaged in sacred task, there is no need to seek funds. Our purity will bring in funds of its own accord. There is a dearth of men of integrity. Where there are such persons there is no problem at all in securing funds. I do not misspend even a single naya paisa of Trust money. Nor is there any room in our Trust for anyone else to draw money.
There are reports that some crores of Trust funds in cash have been swallowed by some persons. This is totally false. We do not handle cash at all. If anybody offers cash, we see to it that the money is given to the bank manager in the presence of a Trust official in the residence of the donor himself. Therefore, no one can point an accusing finger at the way our trusts are managed. In these circumstances, it is a sin to level such charges against our Central Trust. In the whole world, you cannot find any Trust that is being managed in this pure manner. That is why our institutions are growing ceaselessly. Not now alone, but as long as the sun and moon last, there is no danger to our institutions.
This propaganda stems from the frustration born of jealousy. In the peaceful atmosphere that was pervading here, such propaganda has caused perturbation. This is highly sinful. It is not good to indulge in such acts. Do good if you can, but if not, remain silent. You will be rendering help if you don't do any harm. But it is not good to do harm. Some may ask why Swami had so far refrained from answering the traducers. For everything there is a right moment.
The Kauravas, for instance, were harassing the Paandavas in many ways, insulting and humiliating them. The Kauravas were well aware of the Paandavas' divine potencies. Each of the Paandava brothers was a man of great prowess. But they did not make use of their strength. They bore their troubles in silence. The Kauravas attribute this silence to cowardice and weakness. But this was not so. No one can realise the strength that underlies forbearance. Likewise The Sathya Sai Trust chose to maintain forbearance. This forbearance represents courage, strength, truth and non-violence. By forbearance, good people will achieve their objectives in due course. Hence, do not worry about what has happened. Such things happen in the world from time to time.
