ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE LA DISTRIBUCIÓN DEL MATERIAL DE ALIVIO PARA LOS INUNDADOS EN KANNUR, WAYANAD Y ALLEPPEY - KERALA .
Con el amor y la misericordia incondicionales de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, el camión con ayuda llego a Kannur el 26 de agosto por la mañana, y la distribución comenzó tan pronto como se realizó la descarga. Las familias necesitadas ya fueron identificadas por voluntarios locales con la ayuda de los miembros de Panchayath, y el mismo día se completó la distribución de casi 150 kits. Los voluntarios continúan con sus visitas y la distribución continúa en pleno desarrollo. Como la región es una zona montañosa, la distribución de ayuda lleva mucho tiempo, ya que las casas están muy separadas. Los movimientos de tierra han afectado gravemente el área y muchas casas están abandonadas.

UPDATE ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF FLOOD RELIEF MATERIAL IN KANNUR, WAYANAD AND ALLEPPEY - KERALA .
With the unconditional love and mercy of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the relief truck reached Kannur on August 26th morning, and the distribution started as soon as the unloading was done. The needy families were already identified by local volunteers with the help of Panchayath members, and on the same day distribution of nearly 150 kits was completed. The volunteers are continuing their visits and distribution is still ongoing in full swing. As the region is a hilly area, relief distribution is time consuming, as the houses are far apart. The land slides have badly affected the area, and many houses stand abandoned.
At Wayanad, the truck reached on 25th night, and distribution started the next morning, and will be completed in the next two to three days.
In Alleppey, there was huge crowd as the trucks entered some of the badly affected areas. Local volunteers had identified 1000 families to receive Swami's love. These families continue to reside in relief camps, as water is yet to recede.
In all the three districts, tremendous help poured in from the local youth. With fervent prayers, the relentless volunteers continue their mission of spreading Swami’s love and cheer to all the families in the three districts of Kerala.

Al igual que muchos otros festivales de la cosecha observados en varias partes de la India, Onam se celebra en Kerala con mucho fervor y alegría. Fue una ocasión única para que los devotos le ofrezcan su respeto y obediencia a su Señor, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai en Muddenahalli.
Este año, el espíritu del festival luce sombrío cuando el estado de Kerala enfrenta una de las inundaciones más devastadoras del siglo.
Con una oración ferviente en sus corazones y una profunda gratitud hacia su Señor, un gran número de devotos se reunieron en Sathya Sai Grama.
Escoltado por los chicos de Canto Védico , Swami entró al Salón Premamrutham desde el escenario. Él aceptó cartas y bendijo a los devotos, los aconsejó y les proporcionó el consuelo divino que redime cada corazón que se hunde.
Mientras los bhajans estaban en progreso, Swami se dio cuenta del canto conmovedor de una devoto y asumió su forma de Gaanalolapor unos momentos, mientras se paraba frente a ella, antes de subir al escenario.

El programa comenzó con una breve descripción del trabajo de ayuda realizado para los residentes de Kerala.
En total, se enviaron ocho camiones con provisiones que podrían durar un mes para 2.500 familias que cubren a unas 10.000 personas en las áreas afectadas por las inundaciones de Kerala, y algunas partes de Karnataka también, que se vieron afectadas. Un grupo de 100 voluntarios empacó todo el material de socorro, que incluyó a los estudiantes de Swami, e incluso a estudiantes del Colegio de Ingeniería de Nagarjuna, quienes querían hacer su parte en el trabajo de socorro.
Los devotos de Kerala ofrecieron un ramo de canciones en los pies de loto de Swami. Después de la presentación emotiva, Swami bendijo a la audiencia con su discurso divino. A través de una historia del Señor Narayana y del Sabio Narada, expuso la grandeza de ser un devoto del Señor, y cómo el Señor siempre reside en los corazones de Sus devotos. Luego relató la historia del rey Bali, quien fue redimido de su sentido de hacedor y del ego por el Señor Vamana, y así fue bendecido por ser uno de Sus más grandes devotos. Al final de su discurso, Swami mencionó que impidió que muchos de sus devotos de Kerala vinieran y les pidió que ayudaran a las personas afectadas en el estado.
Swami entonces despidió a los camiones (con una ceremonia Rompiendo Cocos delante de cada camión, como signo de proteccion y bendicion) que esperaban afuera del Salon para llevar el material de socorro para ser distribuido en las zonas de desastre.
Swami bendijo a los voluntarios profusamente, mientras le ofrecian el Mangala Arati , lo que llevo a la auspiciosa mañana a su fin.

Uno de los días más auspiciosos en el calendario indio, el Varamahalakshmi Puja (es una adoración realizada por mujeres casadas por el bienestar las bendiciones para los miembros de su familia.), se celebró en Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli con mucho fervor y devoción.
El día se observa el viernes anterior a la Noche de luna llena del mes Sravana, que corresponde a los meses de julio-agosto del calendario gregoriano. Por lo tanto, este año, el día propicio fue el 24 de agosto, y se hicieron arreglos especiales en el Salón Premamrutham para que las damas que observaran el Vratapara (las practicas de adoración), y poder ofrecer sus reverencias a la deidad de una manera elaborada y detallada. Un ídolo decorado con buen gusto de la Diosa Varalakshmi adornaba el escenario adyacente al majestuoso trono de Bhagavan.
Reflejando el color auspicioso del bermellón, Swami realizo una ronda completa por el Salón, bendiciendo a todos, aceptando flores y cartas.
La Puja había comenzado a las 9 am de la mañana, y después de la llegada de Bhagavan, la parte final de la Puja, que incluía, el hilo amarillo sagrado, se llevó a cabo en Su presencia divina.
Para el beneficio de los participantes que no podían entender el idioma de los sacerdotes, se proporcionó una traducción al inglés de cómo realizar la Puja según los rituales.
Según lo prescrito tradicionalmente, Akshata (arroz amarillo), flores, frutas, agua bendita y dulces se ofrecieron a la Diosa durante el Puja.
El Aarti y Bhajans también fueron ofrecidos.
¡Realmente fue un día muy afortunado para las mujeres que pudieron ofrecer su adoración a la Diosa tanto en la forma Sthoola (física) como en Sookshma (sutil) !
Cuando la Puja concluyó, Swami bajó del escenario y vertió Akshata(arroz amarillo) en la cabeza de todos, bendiciéndolos con su amor y gracia, y una bendición especial por adorar a la Diosa dadora de Gracias .
Swami bendijo a los sacerdotes y también bendijo el Prasadam para ser distribuido antes de aceptar el Mangala Arati.

¡El Linaje de educación!
Una visita sorpresa al campus de Bijapur para encontrarse con Sus amados hijos, trajo alegría y ánimo a los pequeños corazones más allá de las palabras. En poco tiempo, los niños estuvieron listos con canciones, discursos y un recital Védico para ofrecer a su Señor.
Swami, que obtuvo mucho deleite de sus esfuerzos inocentes, fue todo elogio para el esfuerzo que habían realizado los estudiantes de la Universidad para la Excelencia Humana, algunos de los cuales se habían graduado y se habían unido al campus para enseñar y cuidar a los niños, mientras que otros viajaban cada fin de semana desde el campus de Gulbarga al campus de Bijapur, a través de los caminos en mal estado, para enseñar música y Vedas a sus hermanos menores.
Este sincero esfuerzo de los estudiantes de la Universidad había dado sus frutos, ya que los niños cantaban los Vedas y cantaban Bhajans mucho mejor que antes.

Education Lineage!
A surprise visit to Bijapur campus to meet His beloved children, brought joy and cheer to the little hearts beyond words. At a short notice, the children were ready with songs, speeches and Veda recital to offer to their Lord.
Swami, who derived much delight from their innocent endeavours, was all praise for the effort of the students of the University for Human Excellence, some of whom had graduated and joined the Campus to teach and care for the children, while others were traveling every weekend from Gulbarga Campus to Bijapur Campus through the rough roads, to teach Music and Veda to their younger brothers.
This sincere efforts of the students of the University had borne fruits as the children were now chanting Vedas and singing Bhajans much better than before.
Swami who had brought the Vice Chancellor and a few other officials of the University along with Him, went on praising the children and the University students like a proud mother.
He observed and remarked to all present, “See, our Vice Chancellor Dr PDN Srinivasu was the student of Prof Prabhakar Rao who is also here today. These University boys are the students of Dr PDN Srinivasu, and now Bijapur school boys are students of the University boys. This is the lineage of the education, which ought not to be broken.”
Quoting from the hymns of Shikshavalli, that was recited by the young students spiritedly, Swami said, “The Guru guides the students as they graduate saying -‘Prajathanthum Maa Vyavachethsi’- do not break the lineage. Today, we are having the lineage of teacher and students, this is our lineage of education and this ought not to be broken.”
The lineage of education, the lineage formed out of love remains unbroken for four generations now and shall continue for ever.

Las abejas se sienten atraídas por una flor llena de néctar y no se acercarán a una flor de plástico, por hermosa que sea la flor pintada o por grande que sea ... ¡Ni siquiera un mosquito irá, y mucho menos las abejas!
"Solo los corazones que están llenos de amor puro atraerán a Dios. Como una abeja, Él vendrá todo el camino para beber de este amor nectarino en los corazones de los devotos.
Si te aplicas vibhuthi (ceniza sagrada), un poco de kumkum (bermellón), te pones ropa blanca y cantas bhajans, sin tener pureza o amor en tu corazón, es como una flor artificial a la que Dios no quiere ir. "

"Hay tantas flores aquí. En estos días, las personas fabrican flores en muchos colores, en papel y plástico. Aunque la flor de papel o de plástico se ve hermosa, ni siquiera una sola abeja se acercará a ella. Por qué no? Externamente, la flor puede verse hermosa, pero falta el néctar real, y es por eso que ninguna abeja se acercara a las flores de plástico y de papel.
"No es suficiente, para llamarse devoto, vestir ropas blancas y ponerse vibhuti, juntar las manos y cantar siempre 'Sai Ram, Sai Ram'. Si no hay devoción interna, esto es artificial.
De la misma manera que la abeja no se acerca a una flor de plástico, tampoco Dios irá a ese tipo de devoto. Lo que necesitas desarrollar es belleza interior, no belleza física, que no es más que ostentación. Para la belleza externa, solo se requieren cinco elementos y el cuerpo es parte de ellos. "

"Si, en el transcurso de unos meses de Mi visita, muchas personas están migrando a Murwillumbah, pueden imaginarse que dentro de unos años toda Australia estará aquí (risas).
No, no es una broma. Es la verdad.
Cuando una flor florece, las abejas encontrarán su camino hacia ella. Las abejas no querrán venir, si es artificial.
Si la flor es real con el néctar dentro, no tienes que enviar invitaciones. Las abejas encontrarán su camino para participar del néctar que está en la flor. Estas son solo 57 yemas ahora. Todo este lugar se convertirá en un gran Centro Sathya Sai, un Ashram (una comunidad espiritual), a medida que avance el tiempo. He comenzado sembrando la semilla aquí; ahora se ha convertido en un árbol joven con algunos brotes. Con el tiempo, se convertirá en un gran árbol lleno de flores y frutas, y automáticamente, atraerá a las personas hacia sí mismo.

En respuesta a la pregunta de un devoto durante su visita a los Países Bajos, Swami explicó muy bien cómo uno puede percibir la presencia de Swami al observar los diversos proyectos de servicio que suceden en todas partes.
Aquí está la pregunta del devoto y la respuesta de Swami:
Pregunta: "Swami-ji, hemos escuchado de los elocuentes oradores, sobre las grandes obras que has hecho y la inspiración que has dado al resto del mundo. Sin embargo, estamos en un aprieto, escuchando los tambores que golpean desde Puttaparthi, donde están reiterando que Swami-ji no necesita un 'tercero'. ¿Puedes resolver esta duda por nosotros?

"Puedes descubrir la naturaleza de un objeto mirando su reflejo. Si ves la sombra de un árbol, sabrás que el árbol está detrás de ti. Si ves el reflejo de un niño en el espejo, sabrás que el niño está detrás de ti. Puede que no veas el árbol, es posible que no veas al niño, pero al observar la sombra o el reflejo en el espejo, puedes determinar que ambos existen detrás de ti. Del mismo modo, la reflexión de Swami es servicio. Si el amor es el objeto, el servicio es el reflejo o la sombra. Todo el servicio que está sucediendo en este momento es, en sí mismo, la prueba de la presencia de Swami. Si crees que Swami era solo el cuerpo, incluso ese cuerpo era solo un tercero. Fue tu propia Divinidad la que tuvo que tomar una forma física para mostrarte quién eres.
"Incluso ahora, Swami es Divinidad, nada menos, y nuevamente Él está aquí para enseñarte, para recordarte tu Verdad de varias maneras. Como dije, una mente pura y tranquila puede ver el reflejo con claridad. Una mente que tiene miedo e ignorante siempre verá la dualidad.
"Cuando Swami se manifestó en Puttaparthi, el mundo entero no creyó. Incluso hoy, ¿cuántos en el mundo saben o creen que Sai Baba es Dios? Siempre hubo muchas personas que no llegaron a saber o no creyeron, y esa fue la voluntad de Swami.
"Incluso ahora, es solo la voluntad de Swami, a quién quiere y a quién no, en este punto. En la oscuridad, puedes confundir una cuerda con una serpiente y tener miedo. “I continue to work, continue to meet My devotees and give them these opportunities because I like being with devotees who are pure-hearted. Bees get attracted to a flower full of nectar and will not go anywhere near a plastic flower, however beautifully the flower may be painted or however big it might be ... Then not even a mosquito will go, let alone bees!
“Only hearts that are full of pure love will attract God. Like a bee, He will come all the way to drink from this nectarine love in the hearts of the devotees. If you apply vibhuthi (sacred ash), a bit of kumkum (vermillion), don white clothing and sing bhajans at the top of your voice without having any purity or love in your heart, it is like an artificial flower to which God will not come.”

“There are so many flowers here. These days, people make flowers in many colours, out of paper and plastic. Though the paper or plastic flower looks beautiful, not even a single bee will go to it. Why not? Externally, the flower may look beautiful, but the real nectar is missing, and that is why no bee will go to plastic and paper flowers.
“It is not good enough to call oneself a devotee, wearing white clothes and vibhuti, putting your hands together and always chanting ‘Sai Ram, Sai Ram’. If there is no devotion within, this is artificial, not ‘heartificial’. In the same way that the bee does not approach a plastic flower, neither will God go to that kind of devotee. What you need to develop is inner beauty – not physical beauty, which is nothing but ostentation. For external beauty, just five things are required and the body is a part of it.”

“If, within a few months of My visit, so many people are migrating to Murwillumbah, you can imagine that within a few years the whole of Australia will be here (laughter). No, it’s not a joke. It is the truth. When a flower blooms, the bees will find their way to it. Bees won’t want to come, if it is artificial. If the flower is real with the nectar inside, you don’t have to send invitations. The bees will find their way to partake of the nectar which is in the flower. This is just in bud now. This whole place will become a very big Sathya Sai Centre, an Ashram (a spiritual community), as time progresses. I have begun by sowing the seed here; now it has grown into a small sapling with a few buds. In time, it will grow into a big tree full of flowers and fruits and, automatically, it will attract people to itself. Let it take its natural course. In the country of Australia, this will become like a Sathya Sai Ashram in times to come and, as Tigrett said, this is all preparation for the next Avatar, rather than the present one.”

In reply to a devotee’s question during His visit to The Netherlands, Swami nicely elaborated how one can perceive Swami’s presence by looking at the various service projects happening everywhere.
Here is the devotee’s question and Swami’s answer:
Question: “Swami-ji, we have heard from the eloquent speakers of the great works that You have done and the inspiration You have given to the rest of the world. Yet, we are in a quandary, hearing the drums beating from Puttaparthi, where they are reiterating that Swami-ji does not need a ‘third party’. Can You please settle this doubt for us?”
Swami: “I just gave an entire discourse about the oneness of all. Where is the ‘third party’? All hands are Mine; all eyes are Mine; all heads are Mine; all ears are Mine; all feet are Mine. Who and what is not Mine? Those who see the reflection as different from them will bark out of fear. Whereas those who know the nature of God – who is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, and can do anything He wills – will understand.
“Who is Swami, again I ask? Swami is nothing but the same Divinity, the truth – the truth which you are. Avatars come to show you that; they come to take you to your Divinity, which is within you. If you think that way, even an Avatar is a third party to you and your Divinity. Why do you need an Avatar at all? You are yourself Divine. Because you do not know, you need a teacher to teach you that.
“You can find out the nature of an object by looking at its reflection. If you see the shadow of a tree, you will know that the tree is behind you. If you see the reflection of a boy in the mirror, you will know that the boy is behind you. You might not see the tree, you might not see the boy, but, by looking at the shadow or the reflection in the mirror, you can ascertain that both exist behind you. Likewise, Swami’s reflection is service. If love is the object, service is the reflection or shadow. All the service that is going on right now is, itself, the proof of Swami’s presence. If you think Swami was just the body, even that body was only a third party. It was your own Divinity that had to take a physical form to show you who you are.
“Even now, Swami is Divinity, nothing less, and again He is here to teach you, to remind you of your Truth in various ways. As I said, a pure and calm mind can see the reflection clearly. A mind that is afraid and ignorant will always see duality.
“When Swami manifested in Puttaparthi, the whole world did not believe. Even today, how many in the world know or believe that Sai Baba is God? There were always many people who did not come to know or did not believe, and that was Swami’s will.
“Even now, it is only Swami’s will – whom He wants and whom He does not, at this point. In the darkness, you may mistake a rope for a snake and be afraid. In the darkness of your mind, you do not realise the truth. When you light the lamp of love, then you can see in its reflection the truth. Just as nobody can eat for you, breathe for you or sleep for you, nobody can tell you where Swami is and where He is not. It is your own experience; it is your own understanding that will be a witness to it. You must understand and experience it yourself to know the Truth – and truth alone will free one from all the fear of ignorance.”
