ANNAPOORNA GANA EL PREMIO A LA 'INICIATIVA ALIMENTARIA DE LA RSE' .
El programa de Desayuno Annapoorna ha embolsado otro premio de RSE en India. El programa ha sido declarado Ganador de la 'Iniciativa de Alimentos de RSC' en la Categoría de Bronce, en los Premios de Impacto de Salud de CSR.
El CSR Health Impact Awards *Premios de Impacto a la Salud*, es una iniciativa de la *Cumbre de Salud y Bienestar de India, cuyo objetivo es reconocer los esfuerzos enfocados y dedicados que impactan áreas directamente relacionadas con la salud y el bienestar de la gente.
Las categorías Oro, Plata y Bronce se basan en la facturación de la ONG. El evento fue honrado con la presencia de Hon. El Ministro de Estado para Asuntos Parlamentarios, Sri Vijay Goel, y el Sr. Smt. Anupriya Patel - Hon. Ministro de Estado de Salud y Bienestar Familiar.
Los incansables voluntarios de la iniciativa Desayuno Annapoorna avanzan cada mañana en 1600 centros, sirviendo desayuno a más de 120,000 niños, con el lema "¡Que ningún niño vaya a la escuela con hambre, NUNCA!"

Uno de los días más auspiciosos en el calendario indio, el Varamahalakshmi Puja (es una adoración realizada por mujeres casadas por el bienestar las bendiciones para los miembros de su familia.), se celebró en Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli con mucho fervor y devoción.

ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE LA DISTRIBUCIÓN DEL MATERIAL DE ALIVIO DE INUNDACIONES EN KANNUR, WAYANAD Y ALLEPPEY - KERALA
Con el amor y la misericordia incondicionales de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, el camión de socorro llegó a Kannur el 26 de agosto por la mañana, y la distribución comenzó tan pronto como se realizó la descarga. Las familias necesitadas ya fueron identificadas por voluntarios locales con la ayuda de los miembros de Panchayath, y el mismo día se completó la distribución de casi 150 kits. Los voluntarios continúan con sus visitas y la distribución continúa en pleno desarrollo. Como la región es una zona montañosa, la distribución de socorro lleva mucho tiempo, ya que las casas están muy separadas. Los toboganes de tierra han afectado gravemente el área y muchas casas están abandonadas.
En Wayanad, el camión llegó a la noche 25 y la distribución comenzó a la mañana siguiente, y se completará en los próximos dos o tres días.
En Alleppey, había una gran multitud cuando los camiones entraron a algunas de las zonas más afectadas. Los voluntarios locales identificaron a 1000 familias para recibir el amor de Swami. Estas familias continúan residiendo en los campamentos de socorro, ya que el agua está por retroceder.
En todos los tres distritos, se recibió una tremenda ayuda de la juventud local. Con fervientes oraciones, los incansables voluntarios continúan su misión de difundir el amor y la alegría de Swami a todas las familias en los tres distritos de Kerala.

Education Lineage!
A surprise visit to Bijapur campus to meet His beloved children, brought joy and cheer to the little hearts beyond words. At a short notice, the children were ready with songs, speeches and Veda recital to offer to their Lord.
Swami, who derived much delight from their innocent endeavours, was all praise for the effort of the students of the University for Human Excellence, some of whom had graduated and joined the Campus to teach and care for the children, while others were traveling every weekend from Gulbarga Campus to Bijapur Campus through the rough roads, to teach Music and Veda to their younger brothers.
This sincere efforts of the students of the University had borne fruits as the children were now chanting Vedas and singing Bhajans much better than before.
Swami who had brought the Vice Chancellor and a few other officials of the University along with Him, went on praising the children and the University students like a proud mother.
He observed and remarked to all present, “See, our Vice Chancellor Dr PDN Srinivasu was the student of Prof Prabhakar Rao who is also here today. These University boys are the students of Dr PDN Srinivasu, and now Bijapur school boys are students of the University boys. This is the lineage of the education, which ought not to be broken.”
Quoting from the hymns of Shikshavalli, that was recited by the young students spiritedly, Swami said, “The Guru guides the students as they graduate saying -‘Prajathanthum Maa Vyavachethsi’- do not break the lineage. Today, we are having the lineage of teacher and students, this is our lineage of education and this ought not to be broken.”
The lineage of education, the lineage formed out of love remains unbroken for four generations now and shall continue for ever.

ANNAPOORNA AWARDED WINNER OF 'CSR FOOD INITIATIVE'
The Annapoorna Breakfast programme has bagged yet another CSR award in India. The programme has been adjudged the Winner of the 'CSR Food Initiative' in the Bronze Category at the CSR Health Impact Awards.
The CSR Health Impact Awards is an initiative of India Health & Wellness Summit aimed to recognise focused, dedicated efforts which impact areas directly related to health. The categories Gold, Silver and Bronze were based on the turnover of the NGO. The event was graced with the presence of Hon. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Sri Vijay Goel, and by Smt. Anupriya Patel - Hon. Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.
The relentless volunteers of the Annapoorna Breakfast initiative march forward every single morning across 1600 centres serving breakfast to over 120,000 children, with the motto 'Let no child go to school hungry, EVER!'
VARAMAHALAKSHMI CELEBRATIONS - SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI AUGUST 24, 2018
One of the most auspicious days in the Indian calendar, the Varamahalakshmi Puja, was celebrated at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli with much fervour and devotion. The day is observed on the Friday preceeding the Full Moon Night of the Sravana month, which corresponds to the July-August months of the Gregorian calendar. So, this year, the auspicious day was 24th of August, and special seating arrangements were made in the Premamrutham Hall for ladies who observed the Vrata so that they could offer their obeisance to the deity in an elaborate and detailed manner. A tastefully decorated idol of Goddess Varalakshmi adorned the stage adjacent to Bhagawan’s majestic throne.
Reflecting the auspicious colour of vermilion, Swami took a full-round of the Hall, blessing everybody, accepting flowers and letters. The Puja had commenced at 9 a.m. in the morning, and upon Bhagawan’s arrival the final part of the Puja which included the tiring of the sacred yellow thread, was conducted in His divine presence.
For the benefit of participants who could not understand the language of the priests, English translation of how to perform the Puja as per the rituals was provided. As traditionally prescribed, Akshata (yellow rice), flowers, fruits,...
ONAM CELEBRATIONS SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI AUGUST 25, 2018
Like many other harvest festivals observed in various parts of India, Onam is celebrated in Kerala with much fervour and joy. It was a very unique occasion for devotees to pay their respect and obeisance to their Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai in Muddenahalli. This year, the spirit of the festival wore a somber look as the State of Kerala is facing one of the most devastating floods of the century. With a fervent prayer in their hearts and deep gratitude to their Lord, large number of devotees gathered at Sathya Sai Grama.
Escorted by the Vedam boys, Swami entered the Premamrutham Hall from the stage-side. He accepted letters and blessed the devotees, counselled them and provided the divine solace that redeems every sinking heart. As the Bhajanswere in progress, Swami took notice of the soulful singing of a devotee and assumed His Gaanalola form for a few moments, as He stood in front of her, before getting on stage. It was a sight to behold!
The programme commenced with a brief description of the relief work done for the residents of Kerala. In total, eight tankers were being sent with provisions that could last for a month for 2,500 families covering around 10,000 people in the flood-hit areas of Kerala, and some parts of Karnataka too, which were affected. A group of 100 volunteers packed all the relief material, which included Swami’s students, and even students from the Nagarjuna Engineering College, who wanted to do their part in the relief work.
The devotees from Kerala offered a bouquet of songs at the Lotus Feet of Swami. After the soulful presentation, Swami blessed the audience with His Divine discourse. Through a story of Lord Narayana and Sage Narada, He expounded..... To know more, click HERE

UPDATE ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF FLOOD RELIEF MATERIAL IN KANNUR, WAYANAD AND ALLEPPEY - KERALA
With the unconditional love and mercy of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the relief truck reached Kannur on August 26th morning, and the distribution started as soon as the unloading was done. The needy families were already identified by local volunteers with the help of Panchayath members, and on the same day distribution of nearly 150 kits was completed. The volunteers are continuing their visits and distribution is still ongoing in full swing. As the region is a hilly area, relief distribution is time consuming, as the houses are far apart. The land slides have badly affected the area, and many houses stand abandoned.
At Wayanad, the truck reached on 25th night, and distribution started the next morning, and will be completed in the next two to three days.
In Alleppey, there was huge crowd as the trucks entered some of the badly affected areas. Local volunteers had identified 1000 families to receive Swami's love. These families continue to reside in relief camps, as water is yet to recede.
In all the three districts, tremendous help poured in from the local youth. With fervent prayers, the relentless volunteers continue their mission of spreading Swami’s love and cheer to all the families in the three districts of Kerala.
