En un satsang que tuvo lugar en la presencia divina en el California, EE.UU., el 19 de junio, 2016, un devoto preguntó sobre el ashram que se construira en el sur de California.

Y esto es lo que dijo Swami:

Pregunta: Swami, ¿podría decirnos algo sobre el ashram que está por venir en el sur de California? Algunos de nosotros hemos oído que Prema Sai Baba va a estar mucho tiempo en este ashram. También podría decir algo sobre eso?

Swami: No es importante donde Prema Sai Baba ocupará mucho tiempo; es importante si vas a pasar mucho tiempo en este ashram; si vas a mejorar o no. Es por tu bien, no por el Mio. (Risas y aplausos)

Dios no necesita templos; Dios no necesita lugares. El esta en todos lados; todos los lugares son de Él. Estos ashrams son para el bien de los devotos, para que puedan obtener una oportunidad de vivir en buena compañía, trabajar juntos, servir a la sociedad y crecer espiritualmente. Es por su bien que Swami propuso un ashram.

El ashram no estará muy lejos de aquí. El trabajo ya ha comenzado y la gente está desarrollando el proyecto en este momento. Mi deseo es que no sea llamado 'Ashram de Sai Baba'; será un lugar Universal de Culto para todas las personas, de todas las religiones, de todas las nacionalidades, sin distinción alguna. Será una instalación común que puede ser utilizada por cualquier persona que quiera utilizarlo para un propósito espiritual, con ciertas normas y códigos de conducta, por supuesto. Con la colaboración de mucha gente uniendo las manos, va a suceder muy pronto. Una vez que se construya, que debe ser usado también. La construcción es mi responsabilidad; Ejecutarlo es tu responsabilidad... (Aplausos)

Lista real de los 18 ashrams en todo el mundo. ¿Por qué 18? Swami dijo porque 18 es un número santo. 1 + 8 = 9

In a satsang held in the divine presence at the California, USA, on 19th June, 2016, a devotee asked about the ashram coming up in Southern California.

And here is what Swami said:

Question: Swami, could You please tell us something about the ashram that is to come up in Southern California? Some of us have heard that Prema Sai Baba will spend a lot of time in this ashram. Could You also say something about that?

Swami: It is not important where Prema Sai Baba will spend a lot of time; it is important whether you will spend a lot of time in this ashram; whether you will improve or not. It is for your sake not for My sake. (Laughter and applause)

God does not need temples; God does not need places. He is everywhere; all places are His. These ashrams are for the sake of devotees, so that they get an opportunity to live in good company, work together, serve society and grow spiritually. It is for their sake that Swami proposed an ashram.

The ashram is not very far from here. Work has already started and people are developing the project right now. My wish is that it will not to be called a ‘Sai Baba ashram’; it will be a universal place of worship for all people, of all faiths, of all nationalities, without any distinction. It will be a common facility that can be used by anyone who wants to use it for a spiritual purpose, with certain rules and codes of conduct, of course. With the collaboration of many people joining hands, it will happen very soon. Once it is built, it should be used well. Building it is My responsibility; running it is your responsibility. (Applause)
