World's Biggest Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba

In December`2012, standing a cool 116 feet tall, the World's Biggest Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba was
inaugurated @ Repuru village in Kakinada town of the East Godavari Distict of Andhra Pradesh`India.
This Temple is administered by the Repuru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sevashramam.
The work on this massive cement statue of Shirdi Sai Baba started in 2001 and took 11 years to complete.
Costing around Rs.3 Crores, this statue weighs more than a 1000 ton and has a guarantee of around 500 Years.
Sai Baba is seated 4 floors high with HIS 18 feet high left leg
acting as the Stupa in which a Cellar has been constructed.
And just in-front of this huge statue, a marble Idol of Baba is also installed in a temple for worship
while various other statue's of Baba can be found all around the premises like in a dancing posture
on the Dwaja-Stambam of the temple, or watering the plants in the garden etc
