Vivir en Sai: EE.UU. Programa de la Juventud

Más de 60 jóvenes Sai de todo los EE.UU. están aquí en Prashanti Nilayam desde el 19 de noviembre para participar en las celebraciones del cumpleaños de Bhagavan. Como muestra de su gratitud a Bhagavan, los jóvenes presentaron un programa musical corto, que destaca el amor indescriptible, y dulce de más de 1000 madres , nuestra madre divina. " En declaraciones antes del comienzo del programa, el coordinador de Sri Phil Gossline dijo que el 06 de marzo 2011 Bhagavan había bendecido con dulzura a los jóvenes diciendo: "Que vengan por mi cumpleaños."



Los jóvenes fueron guiados  por Bhagavan en la selección de un tema para un programa mensual de sadhana y  peregrinación, "Vivir en Sai." 

Fue sólo después del Maha Samadhi de Bhagavan, que el significado, se hizo más profundo en ellos, el orador dijo que aprendió. 

El programa mensual de Sadhana se basa en el código de conducta de nueve puntos. Los jóvenes profundizaron en ellos el estudio de cada una de estas nueve prácticas espirituales, participando en un debate práctico de cómo incorporarlos a su vida cotidiana, y participaron en actividades que les acercan al objetivo de "vivir en Sai." 

La ofrenda de gratitud y amor, se inició con la invocación de la oración Om Sri Gananatha, seguido de Sai Madre Compasiva, y Sai - Vosotros sois la luz de mi vida. Una canción cantada a menudo por los estudiantes, Tu Kitni Achi Hai, fue conducida por un estudiante de edad, quien fue parte del grupo. Canten el nombre de Dios , Madre Sai Maa. 

El grupo concluyó con el  Bhajans , Maata, Maata Sai , que inspiró todo el encuentro.






Ropa,  saris y Safari, se distribuyeron a los participantes, incluso cuando los estudiantes de Bhagavan comenzaron con  bhajans. Dulces se distribuyeron a la asamblea. El Arati se ofreció a las 18:00hrs.

Living in Sai: USA Youth Programme

More than 60 Sai Youth from all over the USA are here in Prashanti Nilayam since November 19th to participate in Bhagawan’s birthday celebrations. As a token of their gratitude to Bhagawan, the youth presented a short musical program, highlighting the indescribable, sweet love of more than a 1000 mothers- ‘Sai, our divine mother.” Speaking before the commencement of the programme, the coordinator Sri Phil Gossline said that on the 6th of March 2011 Bhagawan had sweetly blessed the youth by saying, “Tell them to come for my Birthday.”



The youth were further guided by Bhagawan in selecting a theme for a monthly sadhana program and the pilgrimage- “Living in Sai.” It was only after Bhagawan’s Maha Samadhi did the deeper significance of the theme sink into them, the learned speaker said. The monthly Sadhana program is based on the nine point code of conduct . The youth delve deeper into each of these 9 spiritual practices, study them, engage in practical discussion of how to incorporate them into their daily lives, and participate in activities that bring them closer to the goal of “living in Sai.”



The offering of gratitude and love commenced with the Invocation prayer- Om Sri Gananatha, followed by Sai Madre Compasiva, Sai – You are the light of my life. A moving song often sung by students, Tu Kitni Achi Hai, was rendered by an old student who was part of the group.Chant the name of God and Mother, O Mother Sai Maa were next. The group concluded with the Bhajan Maata, Maata, Sai Maata which inspired the entire gathering to participate.






Sarees and Safari Clothes were distributed to the Participants even as students of Bhagawan started Bhajans. Sweets were distributed to the assembly. Arati was offered at 1800hrs.

Siete Nuevos Hospitales Móviles inaugurado la mañana de hoy


"El servicio al hombre es servicio a Dios", es la cita repetida a menudo por Bhagavan y en la que se inspira la Organización Sri Sathya Sai. 

Andhra Pradesh puso en marcha siete nuevos hospitales móviles en para el distrito, en beneficio de pobladores que viven lejos de los centros de salud . 

La función se celebró en la mañana en el Sai Kulwant Hall.

Hablando en esta ocasión con su característica humildad y gracia, S G Chalam, Presidente del Estado, agradeció a Bhagavan por su infinita gracia y compasión que inspiró y motivó a este proyecto.

Siete hospitales móviles en miniatura con equipo de diagnóstico muy moderno, incluyendo Sonogram Ultra, rayos X, electrocardiograma, analizador semiautomático, Medidor de hemo, Centrífuga, Auto Clave esterilizador a vapor, Equipo de refracción ocular de alcance Oftalmología, nebulizador, equipo dental y equipo de pruebas Ginecología,  han sido adquiridas para cuidar de la saluden las puertas de los vecinos más necesitados, enfermos y pobres en los distritos de Visakhapatnam, Godavari Este, Godavari Oeste, Krishna, Kadapa YSR, Nagar Mahaboob y Hyderabad. 

Con estos hospitales Mobiles Sri Sathya Sai , de Atención Primaria, se prestará junto con la salud,  educación sobre higiene. Con la ayuda de los servicios voluntarios prestados por médicos, paramédicos y personal Sevadal, los pacientes que necesitan cuidados intensivos, atención secundaria y terciaria, serán hospitalizados en los asilos de ancianos afiliados a nuestra organización en las ciudades y se les proporcionará los cuidados médicos esenciales con el amor y compasión. En un tono emocional, rezó a Bhagavan para que nos diera fuerza y confianza para seguir su misión. 

Después de la charla, el presidente del Estado pidió a los fideicomisarios Sri SVGiri, Sri Lanka y V. Srinivasan RJ Ratnakar junto con el secretario de la Central Trust Sri Prasad Rao,  que inspeccionen e inauguren los hospitales móviles. Oraron a Bhagavan, y los administradores cortaron la cinta, e inspeccionaron el equipo. Satisfechos con sus esfuerzos, los felicitó por el mismo. 

Esta sesión breve y agradable fue seguida por bhajans y el Arati.

Seven New Mobile Hospitals Inaugurated today Morning



“Service to Man is Service to God”, is the oft repeated quote of Bhagawan and taking inspiration from that, the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation, Andhra Pradesh launched seven new Mobile Hospitals in Andhra Pradesh to benefit Villagers who live far away from health care facilities. The function was held in the morning in Sai Kulwant Hall.

Speaking on the occasion with his characteristic humility and grace, S.G.Chalam, State President, thanked Bhagawan for His infinite grace and compassion which inspired and motivated this project. Seven miniature mobile hospitals with most modern diagnostic equipment including Ultra Sonogram, X-ray, E.C.G., Semi Auto Analyser, Haemo Meter, Centrifuge, Auto Clave, Steam Steriliser, Eye-Refraction Equipment, Opthalmology Scope, Nebuliser, Dental Equipment and Gynecology Test Kit have been acquired to take health care to the doorsteps of the needy, ill and poor villagers in the districts of Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, YSR Kadapa, Mahaboob Nagar and Hyderabad.




With these Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospitals, Primary Care will be rendered along with health and hygiene awareness education. With the help of voluntary services rendered by Doctors, Para Medical Staff and Sevadal, the patients who need critical care, secondary and tertiary care will be hospitalised in the affiliated nursing homes to our organisation in towns and cities and they will be provided the essential medical care with love and compassion. In an emotional tone, he prayed to Bhagawan to give strength and confidence to further His Mission.





After the talk, the state president requested the trustees Sri S.V.Giri, Sri V.Srinivasan and Sri R.J. Ratnakar along with the secretary of the Central Trust Sri Prasad Rao to inspect and inaugurate the mobile hospitals. Praying to Bhagawan, the trustees cut the ribbon, and inspected the equipment. Pleased with their efforts, they congratulated them for the same.



This short and pleasant session was followed by Bhajans and Arati.

PENANCE FOR PEN

Prof. N. Kasturi was the Editor of Sanathana Sarathi from its inception in 1958 till he attained the Divine Lotus Feet in the year 1987.

I got the good news pretty quick; Baba had come to Bangalore. He was staying in Sri Vittal Rao’s house on the 9th Cross Road, Wilson Gardens, only five minutes away from my residence, “Ashoka” on the 12th cross. Knowing that there was a possibility of His coming to His place, I had tipped the dry cleaner, who attended to the washing and ironing of his door and window curtains, to inform me as soon as he delivered the wash to Vittal Rao. I had noticed that he had the curtains washed and ironed as part of house cleaning, preliminary to Baba’s visit. When the news leaked at last, I posted the little daughter of my domestic help on a slab of stone facing his house, with directions to keep watch for a big car and an orange robe. So within ten minutes of Baba’s stepping into his house, Vittal Rao was amazed to find me on his verandah! “Wait! Wait! He pleaded. But Baba spotted and came towards me with His palm ready to fall on my shoulder. “Now, you have work at Puttaparthi”, he said. “A monthly magazine will start soon. Guess! How is it named?” He asked. I confessed I could not delve into His will. Yet He drew out from my reluctance a few names. “The Godward Path”, “Karma Dharma”, “Prema Yoga”. He waved aside the titles I suggested and announced that he had decided to designate it as “Sanathana Sarathi”.

That name is a clarion call. It is the conch of Vishnu, awakening the sleeping. It is the drum of Siva challenging the unruly to shed their waywardness. ‘Sarathi’ means ‘he who holds the reins’, ‘Sanathana’ means ‘Eternal’. So, that title would announce to the world that Baba is the Omniwill, which is moulding and manipulating, since Times began, the wills of living beings from the amoeba to the astronaut. “Recognise God as the Sarathi, yield wholeheartedly to His direction, reach your Destination in good shape”, was the message Baba was conveying through that Name. I was elated, elevated.

“This is the 32nd year of the Avataric Career and it is time He stood forth as the world Teacher,” I said to myself, recalling His first public discourse during Dasara, 1953. It was while the Lord was the Sarathi for Arjuna that the Bhagavad Gita was conferred on mankind through him. The Lord is therefore known as Partha (Arjuna) Sarathi. Baba is now standing forth as Sanathana Sarathi – the Sarathi for every one, everywhere.

A few days prior to the release of the first number of the magazine, Baba declared before a gathering on the Chithravathi sands, “The Bhagavad Gita is a guidebook, a map for the aspirant to peace and liberation. The Lord has installed Himself in every heart as the charioteer. Ask Him for the proper direction and He will answer and lead. You can hear a Gita specially designed for you, if you call upon the Lord”. The “Sanathana Sarathi” was therefore intended as the “Bhagawan Uvacha” (Thus saith the Lord) for a world that has jumped the rails and is in fatal jeopardy.
