Sri Madhusudan Naidu habla acerca de “SHIVOHAM”, dónde se levantará la estatua de Shiva, de 46.7 metros de altura, y la importancia espiritual detrás de la misma.

“Definitivamente, este lugar es muy sagrado. Pero, una vez más, tengo que repetir lo que Swami dijo: ‘Éste lugar por sí mismo no tiene tanta importancia como lo que ustedes hacen cuando están en este lugar. Todo se trata de en lo que se conviertan cuando están en este lugar’.
Pueden sentir curiosidad por la estatua de Shiva que se levantará y yo debería hacer algunas aclaraciones sobre esto. Hace más o menos ocho o nueve meses, el Dr. David Cornsweet y su esposa la Sra. Jennie de los Estados Unidos, trajeron una estatua de Shiva para mostrarle a Swami. Ellos son coleccionistas de estatuas y su casa es casi como un museo. Swami estaba muy abrumado y dijo: ‘Esta es una estatua muy hermosa. Se ve tan majestuosa. Debemos tener una estatua de Shiva aquí’. Swami llamó a los arquitectos, al shilpi (escultor) y a otros y tuvieron una reunión. Luego Él pasó unos cuantos días dialogando sobre dónde debía ser instalada, si en la colina o en el llano, como cualquier otra persona recabo la opinión de todos y finalmente llegó a una conclusión y dijo: ‘Debemos ponerla aquí (detrás del Salón Auditorio Premamrutham)’.
Él dijo: ‘La instalaremos aquí y se convertirá en un imán que atraerá mucha energía positiva a sí misma. Después de todo, Shiva es el Señor de las energías’.
Recuerdo lo que sucedió un día. Fue muy intrigante. En 2011, Swami me dijo que fuera a la Villa Nandi (un pueblo próximo a Muddenahalli). Una mañana, me pidió que fuera al templo Bhoga Nandeeshwara en ese pueblo. ‘Tú ve, Yo iré allí’, dijo Él. En ese momento, yo no tenía mucho que hacer. Si Swami me decía que hiciera algo o que fuera a alguna parte, al instante siguiente yo saltaba dentro de mi auto y conducía hasta donde quiera que Él indicara. Y así me encontré, allí en el templo, una hora y media después.
Cuando ingresé por las puertas del templo, Swami apareció y dijo: ‘No leas estos carteles, son confusos, te orientaran mal’. El cartel decía: ‘Hace 800 años, un Rey Chola construyó este templo’. Él dijo: ‘¡Solo ignóralo! Yo te diré de lo que se trata todo esto’.
Swami comenzó a caminar por delante y yo lo seguí por detrás. Atravesó la puerta principal y me mostró muchas esculturas. Me explicó muchas cosas. Entró al templo y dijo: ‘Hay tres templos aquí’. El templo a la derecha es el más antiguo. Los otros dos aparecieron cuando este lugar fue conquistado por diferentes dinastías de reyes; y ellos intentaron dejar su firma construyendo otro templo en su estilo arquitectónico. Los tres templos se veían claramente diferentes unos de otros. Swami dijo: ‘El de la derecha es el templo original’. Y luego dijo: ‘El Ashram de Vishwamitra estuvo aquí en algún momento. Sri Rama también estuvo aquí. El primer pequeño Lingam que hubo aquí fue instalado por el Señor Rama’. Yo le pregunté dónde esta ahora.? Él respondió: ‘Se lo llevaron y después se instalaron muchos más.
Luego, por supuesto, muchos reyes vinieron y comenzaron a traer cosas aquí a su manera.
Hubo un rey de nombre Bhartrhari, que estuvo aquí, y también construyó este templo. Hay una gran historia en este lugar y tiene miles de años’. Pensé: ‘Obviamente, si Rama estuvo aquí, tiene más de diez mil años. Entonces, este lugar estuvo siempre aquí’.
Y luego Él me dijo: ‘Hay un Templo de la Madre, un templo de la Devi’. Sin poner un pie dentro del templo, me describió cómo Ella permanece de pie, sosteniendo atributos en Sus varias manos. Me pidió ir a ese templo también, y yo obedecí. ‘Allí’, me dijo, ‘esto fue instalado inicialmente por la esposa de Bhartrhari, el Rey. Debido a que la Devi se le apareció en su sueño y le dijo que su esposo había instalado a Shiva, entonces ella debía instalarla a Ella. Así es cómo este templo fue instalado’.
Luego, me dijo que este lugar era el lugar de Shiva, un lugar muy antiguo, y que tenía tremenda energía. Él dijo: ‘Muchas cosas van a suceder en el futuro’. Y me dio un Darshan del Señor Shiva. Hay un gran Nandi (Toro) allí. Lo vi a Swami, como un niño, brincando sobre el lomo de Nandi y transformandóse en el Señor Shiva. Él me dijo que esta era Su forma verdadera, la forma de Shiva. Creo que en algún momento en 2013, una mañana, me encontraba solo caminando fuera del Ashram. ¡En ese momento yo tenía la libertad de caminar afuera sin ser visto.! Ahora, estoy mayormente confinado a cuatro paredes. Entonces, mientras caminaba por el Ashram, vi a un hombre de aspecto enojado caminando de frente hacia mi. Parecía un lunático, vestido con ropas muy sucias, casi rasgadas, un hombre muy alto, de seis pies o más, cerca de 2 metros.
Tenía de un lado una bolsa de viaje harapienta y usaba gafas. Pensé que era alguna especie de loco deambulando por este lugar, e intenté evitarlo cambiando mi dirección, para que no se cruzara conmigo. Pero él me percibió y continuó mirándome fijamente mientras yo caminaba hacia la dirección opuesta. Caminé rápidamente y esperé que para el momento en que yo regresara, él se hubiera ido. Tenía un látigo hecho de trapos en Su mano, y azotaba la tierra mientras caminaba. ¡Yo estaba de lo más asustado de que me azotara por casualidad! Yo nunca había visto a alguien como él en este lugar anteriormente. Cuando regresé de mi caminata, todavía estaba allí en el camino. No había forma de que yo pudiera entrar al Ashram. Tuve que transitar todo el camino donde por donde él estaba parado, para poder ingresar por la puerta principal. Me preguntaba cómo escapar. Comencé a caminar rápidamente pero cuando me lo crucé, él me agarró por mi hombro y me tiró hacia atrás. Estaba atrapado con mi hombro en su poder. Él era tan alto y yo bastante bajo. Luego comenzó a caminar conmigo y me dijo: ‘Yo soy Shiva’. Pregunté: ‘¿Shiva significa el Señor Shiva?’ Él dijo: ‘¡Sí, todo este lugar me pertenece! Yo soy el Rey de este lugar’, dijo Él. Yo pensé que esta era una conversación lunática que me permitiría alejarme y escapar de él, pero él no me dejaba ir. Y luego dijo: ‘Sai Baba me ha llamado’. Eso me sorprendió. ¿Cómo sabe que Sai Baba está aquí? ¡Se veía miserable, más bien loco y decía que Sai Baba lo había llamado aquí! Luego, miró hacia la colina de Anandam y dijo: “Allí es donde se hospeda Sai Baba. Él me llamará; tiene que darme un anillo’. Yo pensé para mí mismo cómo es que sabe que Sai Baba da anillos, porque no parece un devoto de ninguna manera, o alguien conocido para Swami. Él dijo: ‘Trae máquinas, tenemos que construir muchas habitaciones, casas, templos. ¡Apúrate, apúrate!’, comenzó a decirme. Yo estaba tan sorprendido; ¿cómo sabe que estamos embarcados en tanta construcción? En ese momento, no había muchos edificios aquí. Pensé: ‘¿Cómo sabe todas estas cosas?’ Él siguió repitiendo: ‘Yo soy Shiva, el Rey de este lugar’. Y finalmente, cuando nos acercamos a la puerta, le dije que tenía que irme. Él me soltó, yo me zafé de su control y mientras me alejaba, lo miré, levantó Su mano y me bendijo. Nadie puede levantar su mano y bendecir. Eso requiere de algo de autoridad. Más tarde, yo envié algo de dinero a través del guardia de seguridad para que se lo entregaran. Después de eso, nunca más vi a este hombre. Cuando debatí sobre esto con algunas personas en el Ashram, ninguna de ellas había visto a una persona de esta descripción nunca antes aquí.
Recientemente, cuando Sreenivas le preguntó a Swami por qué una estatua de Shiva y por qué no una de Hanuman, como antes lo había hecho Swami, Él dijo: ‘Este es el lugar de Shiva’. Ahí es cuando me hizo clic a mí, y recordé este incidente que sucedió tiempo atrás. Swami había dicho que Shiva vendría y se encontraría conmigo. Él realmente se encontró conmigo en una forma que yo no pude reconocer, a pesar de haber dejado tantas pistas. Definitivamente, este lugar es muy sagrado.
Pero otra vez tengo que repetir lo que Swami dijo: ‘Este lugar no tiene tanta importancia, como lo que ustedes hacen cuando están en este lugar. Todo se trata, de lo que ustedes se convierten, cuando están en este lugar’.
Si elegimos permanecer como estamos, resistir toda la energía, sin permitir abrirnos y dejarnos ser, entonces, todo esto será simplemente un desperdicio. Es como un recipiente colocado al revés. Por más cantidad de agua que viertan, va a ser un desperdicio. Esta es una oportunidad para nosotros.
Cuando Él dijo: ‘Nosotros somos Su Misión, tenemos que involucrarnos. Él está esperando que más y más personas desinteresadas e intrépidas se unan a Él y lleven a cabo esta gran misión de transformación de la humanidad.
Él nos dijo: ‘Hasta que la última persona sobre la tierra sea transformada, Mi misión no finalizará. Podemos ayudarlo, solo cuando nos convirtamos como Él, desinteresados e intrépidos.
Ahí cuando Su misión se manifiesta, nosotros somos El, y la Edad Dorada se manifiesta. Deseo que con cada día que pase, avancemos poco a poco hacia ese Divino desinteresado e intrépido, que es Él, y que Él quiera que todos nosotros seamos Èl. Solo tenemos que deshacernos de kilos de equipaje no deseado que estamos cargando y simplemente, ser lo que verdaderamente somos en verdad.
Embarcarse en esta gran misión de construir la estatua tiene muchas razones. Yo solo conozco una. A medida que pase el tiempo, sabremos el porqué de todo esto, por qué ahora, por qué tiene que estar aquí, y por qué tenemos que estar aquí cuando todo esto esté ocurriendo. Todas estas cosas serán más claras para nosotros a medida que pase el tiempo.
La estatua llevará aproximadamente, según cálculos humano , dos años en construirse. En cálculos Divinos, no sé cuándo puede suceder. Habrá un auditorio de artes escénicas debajo de la estatua que tendrá probablemente una capacidad para 500 lugares. Sobre éste habrá una estatua de Shiva, y habrá cantidad de fuentes y jardines. Swami preguntó muy bellamente: ‘¿Cuál es el nombre de este lugar que estamos construyendo?’ Y Él mismo respondió: ‘El lugar se llamará SHIVOHAM’.
Tendremos jardines de meditación, un auditorio para muchos debates espirituales de naturaleza más profunda y muchas otras áreas de desarrollo humano y evolución. Habrá una pequeña galería de exposición, una especie de lugar para caminar, que hablará sobre la vida y la misión de Swami hasta el momento. Y obviamente va a ser un lugar hermoso. Hace un tiempo, Él me dijo que habrá muchas fuentes y jardines. Las personas vendrán, se sentarán aquí y meditarán. El nombre es tan significativo, ‘Shivoham’, Yo soy Shiva. Yo soy divino. Cuando caminen por ahí, deben sentir esa Verdad. La estatua mirará hacia el Sol, hacia el este. Shiva lucirá como un mendigo, de pie con la Trishula (tridente) y el Damaru (tambor). Él no estará en una postura meditativa. Probablemente en cambio, a Shiva le gustaría vernos meditando. ¡Esta vez, Él se encontrará de pie y nos estará observando! (Risas)
Swami me dijo que aquí es donde el Ashram de Vishwamitra estuvo. Rama y Lakshmana vinieron aquí y lucharon con los demonios Tataki y sus hijos. Las montañas que vemos alrededor son nada menos que los restos mortales de esos demonios que se han vuelto tierra en un periodo de tiempo. Pero la gente dice que en el texto del Ramayana, esto sucedió en alguna parte del norte, cerca de Ayodhya y Mithila. Por un momento, yo también me sentí desconcertado. Le pregunté a Swami y dijo que sí, que éste es el lugar. Y luego me dio una visión con una guerra teniendo lugar con dos pequeños muchachos arrojando flechas en todas direcciones y nubes como demonios acercándose a este lugar y desapareciendo heridos. Cuando desperté de esta visión, supe que éste era el lugar. Seguiré lo que Swami dijo. ¡Prefiero seguir la versión de Rama que la versión del Ramayana!”

Sri Madhusudan Naidu speaks about ‘SHIVOHAM’ where the 153 feet tall Shiva statue is to come up and the spiritual significance behind it

“Definitely, this place is very sacred. But again, I have to repeat what Swami said, “This place itself is not of so much importance as what you do when you are in this place. It’s all about what you become when you are in this place.”
You may be curious about the Shiva statue that is coming up and I should throw some light on this. About eight or nine months ago, Dr. David Cornsweet and his wife Mrs Jennie from USA, brought a Shiva statue to show to Swami. They are statue collectors and their house is almost like a museum. Swami was so overwhelmed and said, ‘This is such a beautiful statue. It looks so majestic. We must have a Shiva statue here.’ Swami called the architects, the shilpi (sculptor) and others and had a meeting. And then He spent quite a few days discussing on where it should be installed, whether upon the hill or in the ground, just like any other person, got everybody’s opinion and finally He came to a conclusion and said, we should have it here (behind Premamrutham). He said, we will install it here and it will become like a magnet which will attract so much of positive energy to itself. Shiva is after all the Lord of energies.
I remember what happened one day, very intriguing. In 2011, Swami told me to go to Nandi village (next to Muddenahalli). One morning, He asked me to go to the Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple in this village. “You go, I will come there”, He said. At that time, I had nothing much to do. If Swami told to do something or go somewhere, the very next moment I would jump into my car and drive up to wherever He said. And so I found myself there at the temple, an hour and a half later. As I entered the temple gates, Swami appeared and said, “Don’t read these boards, they are confusing, misguiding you.” The board said, 800 years ago, a Chola King built this temple. He said, ‘Just ignore! I am going to tell you what it is all about.’ Swami started walking ahead and I trailed behind. He went through the main door and showed me so many sculptures. He was explaining to me many things. He went inside the temple and said there are three temples here. The temple on the right is the oldest one. The other two came up as this place got conquered by different dynasties of kings; and they tried to put their signature by building another temple in their architectural style. All the three temples clearly looked different from each other. Swami said, the right most was the original temple. And then He said, “Vishwamitra’s ashram was here at some point in time. Sri Rama also came here. The first small Lingam which was there was installed by Lord Rama.” I asked where it was now. He answered, “it has been taken away and many more were installed thereafter. Then of course, many kings came and started putting things here in their own ways. There was a king by name Bhartrhari, who was also here to build this temple. There is a huge history to this place and runs into thousands of years.” Obviously, if Rama was here, it is more than ten thousand years old, I thought. So, this place was always there. And then He told me, “There is a Mother’s Temple, a Devi temple.” Without stepping into the temple, He described to me, how She stands, what She holds in various hands. And He asked me to go to that temple too, I obeyed. There, He told me, ‘this was initially installed by the wife of Bhartrhari, the King. Because Devi appeared in her dream and told that her husband had installed Shiva so she should install Her. That’s how this was installed.’
Then He told me that this place was Shiva’s place, a very ancient one. And it had got tremendous energy. He said, ‘lots of things are going to happen in future.’ And He gave me a Darshan as Lord Shiva. There is a big Nandi there. I saw Swami, like a child hopping on to Nandi’s back and transforming Himself into Lord Shiva. He told me this was His true form, the Shiva’s form. I watched Him with great amusement. And then He said, “Shiva will come and meet you!” However, meeting Shiva did not happen for a long time.
I think sometime in 2013, one morning I was taking a walk outside the ashram all by myself. Well then I had the liberty of walking outside without being spotted! Now, I am mostly confined to four walls. And so as I walked around the ashram I saw a mad looking man walking from the opposite side. He looked like a lunatic, dressed in very dirty clothes, almost torn, a very tall man, six feet and above. He had a ragged travel bag hanging from one side, and was wearing spectacles. I thought He was some kind of mad man roaming in this place and I tried to avoid him by walking from the other side so that He doesn’t bump into me or I don’t bump into him. But He noticed me and kept on staring at me as I was walking in the opposite direction. I walked fast and hoped that by the time I returned, He would have gone. He had a whip in his hand made of rags, and was going on lashing the earth as He was walking. I was all the more scared, if He whipped me by any chance! I never saw someone like him in this place before. As I returned from my walk, He was still there on the road. There was no way I could get inside the Ashram. I had to walk all through the road where he was standing to get into the main gate. I was wondering how to escape. I started walking fast but as I crossed him, he caught me by my shoulder and pulled me back. I was stuck with my neck in his hold. He was so tall and I was quite short. He then started walking with me and told me, “I am Shiva”. I asked, Shiva means Lord Shiva? He said, “Yes, this whole place belongs to me!” I am the King of this place, he said. I thought this is some lunatic talking, let me just walk away and escape from him but he would not let me go. And then he said, “Sai Baba has called me.” That surprised me. How does he know that Sai Baba is here? He seemed beggarly, rather a mad man and he says Sai Baba has called me here! Then He looked up the Anandam hill and said, “That’s where Sai Baba is staying. He will call me; He has to give me a ring.” I thought to myself as to how does he know that Sai Baba gives rings? Because He does not look anywhere like a devotee or someone known to Swami. He said, bring machines, we have to construct many rooms, houses, temples. Hurry up, hurry up, he started telling me. I was so surprised; how does he know that we were embarking on so much of construction? At that time there were not many buildings here. I was thinking, how does he know all these things? He kept repeating, I am Shiva, the King of this place. And finally, as we reached closer to the gate, I told him that I need to go now. He loosened the hold, I extricated myself from his grip and as I walked away, I looked back at him and he lifted his hand and blessed. Not everybody can lift their hand and bless. That needs some authority. Later, I sent some money through the security to give him. After that I never saw this man. When I discussed this with a few people in the Ashram, none of them had seen a person of this description here before.
Recently, when Sreenivas Sir asked Swami why a Shiva statue, why not Hanuman, like how earlier Swami had done? Then Swami said, this is Shiva’s place. That’s when it clicked to me, and I remembered this incident that happened way back. Swami had told Shiva will come and meet me. He had actually met me in a form that I could not recognise, despite so many hints that He dropped. Definitely, this place is very sacred. But again, I have to repeat what Swami said, “This place itself is not of so much importance as what you do when you are in this place. It’s all about what you become when you are in this place.” If we choose to remain as we are, resisting the whole energy, not allowing ourselves to open and allowing ourselves to be, then all these will simply go waste. It’s like an upturn pot. How much ever water you pour, it’s going to go waste. This is an opportunity for us. As He said, we are His Mission, we have to happen. He is waiting for more and more selfless, fearless people to join Him and undertake this great mission of transformation of mankind. He told us, till the last person on earth is transformed, My mission will not be over. We can help Him when we become like Him, selfless and fearless. That is when His mission happens, we happen, and the Golden Age happens. I wish that with every passing day, we are inching closer and closer to that selfless, fearless Divine, that He is and that He wants all of us to be. We just have to shed kilos of unwanted baggage that we are carrying and just be truly that we are.
Embarking on this great mission of the statue will have many reasons. I just know one reason. As time passes, we will know, ‘why this?’, ‘why it is now?’, ‘why it has to be here?’ and ‘why we have to be here when all this is happening?’ All these things will be clearer to us as time passes.
Statue will take approximately - from human calculations - two years to build. By Divine Calculations, I don’t know when it can happen. There is a performing arts kind of an auditorium coming below the statue which is going to have probably a 500 seater space. Above that will be the Shiva statue, and there will be with plenty of fountains and gardens. Very beautifully Swami asked, ‘what is the name of this place that we are building?’ And Swami Himself answered, the place should be called ‘SHIVOHAM’. We will have meditation gardens, auditorium for many spiritual discussions of much deeper nature and many other fields of human development and evolution. There will be a small exhibition gallery, walk around kind of a thing, which will talk about Swami’s life and mission so far. And it’s obviously going to be very beautiful place. He told me long ago, there will be lot of fountains, gardens. People will come, sit here and meditate. So very meaningful is the name, ‘Shivoham’ – I am Shiva. I am Divine. When you walk in you must feel that Truth.
The statue is going to face the Sun, on to the East. Shiva will be as a mendicant, standing with Trishula (trident) and Damaru (drum). He is not in meditative pose. Probably for a change, Shiva would like to see us meditating. He is going to stand and watch over us this time! (laughter)
Swami told me that this is where the Vishwamitra’s ashram was there. Rama and Lakshmana came here and they fought the demons, Tataki and her sons. The mountains that we see all around are nothing but the mortal remains of those demons which have become earth over a period of time. But people say, in the script of Ramayana this happened somewhere in the north close to Ayodhya and Mithila. For a moment, I was taken aback too. I asked Swami. And He said it is this. This is the place. And then He gave me a vision with a war happening with two little boys shooting arrows in all directions and clouds like demons coming over to this place and falling away wounded. When I woke up from the vision, I knew this was the place. I will go by what Swami said. I would rather go by Rama’s version than the version of Ramayana!
