Prashanti Noticias - El día tercero del Curso de Verano se puso en marcha .....
Con oraciones invocatorias de un millar de corazones y mentes, en medio de los santos cantos Vedicos, el tercer día del Curso de Verano de cultura india y Espiritualidad, organizado por Instituto Sri Sathya Sai de Educación Superior, para los estudiantes de todos los cuatro campus, se inició en el Auditorio Poornachandra, aquí en Prashanti Nilayam, esta mañana.
Los trabajos se han iniciado con Sri GS Rangarajan, controlador de exámenes del ISSSES, pronunciando el discurso de bienvenida, seguido del discurso inaugural por el vicerrector, el Prof. J. Sasidhara Prasad. El Prof. Prasad exhortó a los estudiantes sobre la necesidad de perseguir el objetivo, cada uno de los estudiantes debe esforzarse para lograr la meta .
La sesión de la mañana estuvo marcada con las deliberaciones temáticas sobre diversos temas , por los miembros de la facultad y Becarios de Investigación del Instituto. Mientras que Sri Sai Giridhar S., Investigador Doctorado en el Departamento de Química, deliberó sobre el tema, la Cultura de la India y Espiritualidad desde la perspectivas del Ramayana,.
El Dr. Raghunatha Sarma, Asistente. Profesor con DMACS habló sobre el tema Cultura de la India y Espiritualidad - desde la perspectivas del Mahabharata.
Después de un breve intermedio de la presentación del vídeo de Bhagavan, cuando la sesión continuó, el Dr. Sanjay Mahalingam, Sr. Administrador de Sistemas en el Campus de Prashanti Nilayam, hablo sobre "los Vedas - El aliento de Dios", que fue seguido por "Lecciones para la vida de los Upanishads" por el Dr. N. Siva Kumar, Asistente. Profesor del Departamento de Comercio, del Campus de Brindavan.
Después del almuerzo, la sesión fue testigo de un círculo de estudio animado sobre el tema seleccionado, Bhajagovindam, de una selección de discursos de cursos de verano de antaño. La sesión resultó ser muy animada, con estudiantes entusiastas aportando citas, anécdotas, etc, mostrando gran interés, entusiasmo, con mayor claridad y comprensión.
La sesión vespertina comenzó con los Cantos Vedicos habituales, reducido a la mitad, debido a otros procedimientos.
Después del almuerzo, la sesión fue testigo de un círculo de estudio animado sobre el tema seleccionado, Bhajagovindam, de una selección de discursos de cursos de verano de antaño. La sesión resultó ser muy animada, con estudiantes entusiastas aportando citas, anécdotas, etc, mostrando gran interés, entusiasmo, con mayor claridad y comprensión.
La sesión vespertina comenzó con los Cantos Vedicos habituales, reducido a la mitad, debido a otros procedimientos.
El resumen de las actuaciones en el Curso de Verano fue presentado por dos estudiantes, Sri SREEDHAR Narayan del Campus Prashanti Nilayam, seguido por la Sra. Sai Kiran desde el Campus de Anantapur.
Anteriormente el Dr. Deepak Anand, Asistente. Profesor de SBMAF, Prashanti Nilayam Campus, abrió la sesión recordando 'el toque divino "dado por Bhagavan en años anteriores, discurriendo sobre la cultura india y la espiritualidad.
El programa final de la noche fue una ofrenda musical de media hora, a cargo de las voces brillantes del Campus de Brindavan. La presentación estuvo llena de tierna devoción al Señor, que les otorgó la más maravillosa bendición celestial, para ser su propiedad.
Los Bhajans continuaron durante los siguientes veinte minutos, antes de la ofrenda del Mangala Arathi a las 18.45 horas.
El programa final de la noche fue una ofrenda musical de media hora, a cargo de las voces brillantes del Campus de Brindavan. La presentación estuvo llena de tierna devoción al Señor, que les otorgó la más maravillosa bendición celestial, para ser su propiedad.
Los Bhajans continuaron durante los siguientes veinte minutos, antes de la ofrenda del Mangala Arathi a las 18.45 horas.
Mangos como Prasadam se distribuyó a todo el conjunto.

With invocatory prayers from a thousand hearts and minds, amidst chanting of holy Veda, the 3-day Summer Course in Indian Culture and Spirituality organised by Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Learning, for the students from all the four campuses, commenced in the Poornachandra Auditorium here in Prasanthi Nilayam this morning.
The Proceedings began with Sri GS Rangarajan, Controller Of Examinations, SSSIHL, delivering the welcome address followed by Inaugural Address by The Vice Chancellor, Prof. J. Sasidhara Prasad. Prof. Prasad exhorted the students on the the need to pursue the goal, the goal each students should strive to achieve.
The morning session was marked with thematic deliberations on various topics by Faculty members and Doctoral Research Scholars from the Institute. While Sri S. Sai Giridhar, Doctoral Research Scholar in the Dept. Of Chemistry deliberated on the theme, Indian Cultural and Spirituality – Insights from the Ramayana, Dr. Raghunatha Sarma, Asst. Professor with DMACS spoke on the subject Indian Culture and Spirituality – Insights from the Mahabharata. After a short intermission of Video presentation on Bhagawan as the session continued, Dr. Sanjay Mahalingam, Sr. Systems Administrator at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus elucidated on “Vedas – The Breath Of God” that was followed by “Lessons For Life From The Upanishads” by Dr. N. Siva Kumar, Asst. Professor with the Dept. Of Commerce, Brindavan Campus.
Post lunch session witnessed an enlivened Study Circle on the selected theme, Bhajagovindam, from selected Summer Course Divine Discourses of yester years. The session turned out to be an enlivened one with enthusiastic students coming forth with quotes, anecdotes etc., showing keen interest, enthusiasm, with greater clarity and understanding.
The evening session began with usual Vedam Chanting, curtailed to half-an-hour for the day owing to other proceedings. Summary of morning proceedings at the Summer Course was presented by two students, Sri Sreedhar Narayan from the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus followed by Ms. Sai Kiran from the Anantapur Campus. Earlier Dr. Deepak Anand, Asst. Professor at SBMAF, Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, introduced the session reminiscing ‘The Divine Touch’ given by Bhagawan during earlier years, discoursing on Indian Culture and Spirituality.
The final programme for the evening was a half-an-hour musical offering by the blooming voices of Brindavan Campus. The presentation was full of tender devotion to the Lord Who granted them the most wonderful, ever incomparable celestial boon, to be His Property.
Bhajans continued for the next twenty minutes before Mangala Arathi offering at 1845 hrs. Mango Prasadam was distributed to the entire assembly.
