Yatra Yatra Raghunatha kirtanam;

Tatra Tatra kritha masthakanjalim;

Bhaspavaari Paripurna lochanam;

Maarutim Namata raakshasanthakam



"Nos inclinamos ante Maruti, Sri Hanuman, que está de pie con sus manos juntas por encima de su frente, con un torrente de lágrimas que corrían por los ojos, siempre que los nombres del Señor Rama son cantados.


Cada templo de Sri Rama tiene la Murti ( ídolo)de Sri Hanuman. Hanuman es el avatar del dios Shiva. Él nació de el dios del viento y Devi Anjani. Sus nombres son Pavanasuta, Marutsuta, Pavankumar, Bajrangabali y Mahavira.


Tenía devoción, conocimiento, espíritu de servicio desinteresado, el poder del celibato, y la ausencia de deseos. Él nunca se jactó de su valentía e inteligencia.

El Señor Rama elogió Hanuman, cuando éste regresó a El , después de encontrar a Sita en Lanka. Hanuman no estaba eufórico. Él cayó postrado a los pies sagrados del Señor Rama.


El Señor Sri Rama dijo entonces: "Yo tengo una gran deuda con usted, oh gran héroe! Has hecho maravillas, sobrehumanas. Usted no quiere nada a cambio. Sugriva tiene su reino restaurado para él. Angada se ha realizado como el príncipe de la corona .. Vibhishana se ha convertido en rey de Lanka. Pero no ha pedido nada en ningún momento. Usted tiró la guirnalda preciosa de perlas que le había dado Sita. ¿Cómo puedo pagar mi deuda de gratitud con usted? Yo siempre seguiré teniendo una gran deuda con usted . Te doy el don de la vida eterna. Todo los honores y se postrarán ante ti como a  Mi . Su murti se colocará en la puerta de mi templo y se le adorara y honrara primero. Cada vez que mis historias sean recitadas o cantadas mis glorias, tus glorias serán cantadas antes que las mías. Usted será capaz de hacer cualquier cosa, incluso lo que no voy a ser capaz de hacer ! "

"We bow to Maruti, Sri Hanuman, who stands with his palms folded above his forehead, with a torrent of tears flowing down his eyes wherever the Names of Lord Rama are sung.


Every single Temple of Sri Rama has the Murti of Sri Hanuman. Hanuman is the Avatar of Lord Shiva. He was born of the Wind-God and Anjani Devi. His other names are Pavanasuta, Marutsuta, Pavankumar, Bajrangabali and Mahavira.


He had devotion, knowledge, spirit of selfless service, power of celibacy, and desirelessness. He never boasted of his bravery and intelligence.


Lord Rama praised Hanuman when the latter returned to Him after finding Sita in Lanka. Hanuman was not a bit elated. He fell in prostration at the holy feet of Lord Rama.


Lord Sri Rama then said "I am greatly indebted to you, O mighty hero! You did marvellous, superhuman deeds. You do not want anything in return. Sugriva has his kingdom restored to him. Angada has been made the crown prince.. Vibhishana has become king of Lanka. But you have not asked for anything at any time. You threw away the precious garland of pearls given to you by Sita. How can I repay My debt of gratitude to you? I will always remain deeply indebted to you. I give you the boon of everlasting life. All will honour and worship you like Myself. Your murti will be placed at the door of My temple and you will be worshipped and honoured first. Whenever My stories are recited or glories sung, your glory will be sung before Mine. You will be able to do anything, even that which I will not be able to!"


Let us worship Sri Hanuman. If possible Fast today on this sacred day. Read the Hanuman Chalisa. Spend the whole day in the Japa of Ram-Nam.
