El primer Centro Sathya Sai en China, por B.Aravind.
La República de China es considerado oficialmente como un país ateo.
Fue hace unas horas que he recibido un correo de reenvío, que contenía una serie de seis fotografías de un nuevo Centro Sai. Hoy en día, el movimiento Sathya Sai está oficialmente presente en más de 165 países y extraoficialmente presente en todas las naciones del mundo. Y todos los días se ve una nueva actividad, cada mes se ven nuevas iniciativas y cada año se están llevando a cabo nuevos proyectos por los devotos de Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba en todo el mundo.
En este sentido, un nuevo Centro Sai no es una cosa fantástica sobre la que escribir. Pero lo que me inspiró fue el hecho de que este nuevo centro se ha creado en el país más poblado del mundo - China. Situado en Jieh Yang, en Guangchou, sur de China, el Centro Sri Sathya Sai Baban se construyo, consagro, inauguró y se abrió para el pueblo de China, y es en realidad un edificio histórico muy especial y como yo lo veo.
La libertad religiosa en China es garantizada por el gobierno, con una advertencia muy fuerte e importante, que el gobierno va a proteger sólo "actividades normales religiosa".
La definición de estas actividades es muy limitada y restringida, que abarca sólo las actividades que tienen lugar por las organizaciones religiosas y lugares de culto registrados por el gobierno. Este punto de vista y la actitud en realidad ha sido severamente criticada por órganos de derechos humanos de todo el mundo. De hecho, sólo las religiones oficialmente sancionados de China son la Asociación Budista de China, la Asociación Taoísta de China, Asociación Católica Patriótica China y tres movimientos patrióticos autónomos. El grado de "protección" otorgada a estos 5 organizaciones religiosas oficialmente registradas también es limitada y estrictamente regulado por la Administración Estatal de Asuntos Religiosos. Ninguna de las otras religiones, cultos, gurús o maestros se les ha dado autorización oficial de culto. Aunque hay muchos templos no registrados e iglesias, no han sido aprobados o protegidos por el gobierno.
En este escenario, la República Popular China, que permita la construcción de un Centro con plenos derechos Sai es realmente una victoria del amor puro y desinteresado de Sri Sathya Sai. China siempre ha sido considerado como un país "oficialmente ateo. Todos los miembros del Partido Comunista, son oficialmente ateos. No se recomienda que incluso la celebración de la fe religiosa. Pero en lo que Swami (Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba) se refiere, sólo hay una diferencia entre los teístas auténticos y verdaderos, y verdaderos ateistas . Le consideran a Dios como Amor, mientras que los verdaderos ateos consideran el amor como Dios! ¿Acaso no cantamos Prem Easwar Hain, Easwar Prem Hain.?
En los cuadros que siguen se verá este hermoso Centro. Tiene fotografías de Swami Baba de Shirdi también. Para mí, personalmente, esta es otra prueba de la universalidad de mi amado Maestro que siempre dice: "Yo he venido a encender la lámpara del amor en vuestros corazones y ver que ella brille día a día con más esplendor. No he venido para hablar en nombre de toda práctica espiritual o filosofía hindú. No he venido en ninguna misión de publicidad para ninguna secta, credo o causa; ni he venido a recoger seguidores para ninguna doctrina. No tengo planes para atraer discípulos o devotos a mi redil. He venido a hablarles de esta fe universal, esta conciencia divina, este camino de amor, esta filosofía del amor, este deber de amor, esta obligación de amor. "

Aunque el Centro Sai nació recientemente, Sai entró en China hace muchos años, como lo demuestran los miles de habitantes que se han sido inspirados y tocados por él de manera misteriosa y divina.

"A mediados de los años 1980 Swami le había dicho a Sus discípulos que Él estaría trabajando directamente con las mentes de la gente como Ronald Reagan y Mikhail Gorbachev (Premio Nobel), para producir un cambio en el mundo. Me imagino que no es mera coincidencia, que la caída del comunismo mundial se produjo menos de diez años después de que aquella declaración fuese hecha!. (Como Baba dijo en los años 70 cuando se le preguntó sobre el comunismo, "comunistas? Venga y usted viene!") Ahora Baba tiene miles de devotos en las antiguas naciones comunistas, difundiendo su mensaje de Amor Divino donde tales palabras fueron prohibidas por décadas ".

The first Sathya Sai Center in China, by B.Aravind.
The republic of China is considered officially as an atheistic country.
It was a few hours ago that I received an email forward which contained a set of six photographs of a new Sai Center. Today, the Sathya Sai Movement is officially present in more than 165 countries and unofficially present in all the nations in the world. And everyday sees a new activity, every month sees new initiatives and every year sees new projects being undertaken by devotees of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba the world over. In that light, a new Sai Center is not a fantastic thing to be written about maybe. But what inspired me was the fact that this new Center has been set up in the world's most populous country - China. Located at Jieh Yang, in Guangchou, Southern China, the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center being erected, consecrated, inaugurated and being opened for the people of China is indeed a very special and landmark building as I see it.
And here is why. The freedom of religion in China is provided by the government with a very strong and important caveat - that the government will protect only ‘normal religious activity’. The definition of such activities is quite narrow and restricted, covering only those activities which take place within government-sanctioned religious organizations and registered places of worship. This outlook and attitude has actually been severely criticized by human-rights bodies from around the world. In fact, the only officially sanctioned religions of China are the Chinese Taoist Association, Buddhist Association of China, Taoist Association of China, Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association and Three-Self Patriotic Movement.
The degree of ‘protection’ afforded to these 5 officially sanctioned religious organizations too is limited and strictly regulated by the State Administration for Religious Affairs. None of the other religions, cults, gurus or masters have been given ‘registered houses of worship’. Though there are many non-sanctioned temples and churches, they have not been approved or protected by the government.
In this scenario, the People’s Republic of China permitting the construction of a full-fledged Sai Center is really a victory of pure and selfless love of Sri Sathya Sai. China has always been considered as an ‘officially-atheist’ country. All the members of the officially atheist Communist Party are strongly discouraged from even holding religious faith. But as far as Swami (Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba) is concerned, there is only one difference between true theists and true atheists.The true theists consider God as Love while the true atheists consider Love as God! Does He not sing Prem Easwar Hain, Easwar Prem Hain.
In the pictures that follow you will see this beautiful Center. It has photographs of Swami and Shirdi Baba too. For me, personally, this is yet another proof of the universality of my beloved Master who always says,
“I have come to light the lamp of love in your hearts to see that it shines day by day with added lustre. I have not come to speak on behalf of any particular spiritual practice or Hindu philosophy. I have not come on any mission of publicity for any sect or creed or cause; nor have I come to collect followers for any doctrine. I have no plans to attract disciples or devotees to my fold or any fold. I have come to tell you of this universal faith, this divine consciousness, this path of love, this philosophy of love, this duty of love, this obligation of love.”

Though the Sai Center took birth recently, Sai entered China many years ago as evidenced by the thousands of people there who have been inspired and touched by Him in ways mysterious and divine.

An excerpt from "His True Mission" by R. D. Awle
"In the mid-1980’s Swami had told His students that He would be working directly with the minds of people like Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev (Nobel Prize winner) to bring about a change in the world. I would guess it is no mere co-incidence that the fall of global communism occurred less than ten years after that statement was made! (As Baba said in the ’70s when asked about Communism, “Communists? Come you next!”) Now Baba has thousands of devotees from the former communist nations, spreading His message of Divine Love where such words were forbidden for decades."
