La Señora Verónica, Gerente de cantina occidental se fusiona con el Señor Sai.

Fui bendecido con la oportunidad de visitar la Morada del Señor, Bhagavan Baba, tan pronto como regresó de EE.UU, he oído una noticia muy triste, la señora Verónica Farkas exhaló su último suspiro en aquella tierra santa de Bhagavan. Muchos de los devotos quizá no han oído su nombre, pero habran visto su cara encantadora y sonriente, al entrar en la cantina occidental. Se desempeñó como Gerente de la Cantina occidental de Prasanthi Nilayam, desde el año 1999, hasta su final.
La Sra. Margot nos cuenta:
En 1986 el padre de Lesli, Lazlo, pregunto a Verónica lo que quería hacer con el resto de su vida.
Su respuesta fue: "Quiero encontrar a Dios y vivir con Él".
Dentro de una semana, habia un libro sobre Sai Baba, que la hizo llorar ..., y a las 2 semanas un devoto de Sai Baba se había mudado al lado ...
Verónica hizo su primer viaje para ver a Sai Baba, en ese mismo año y continuó viajando a ver a Swami hasta 1989 cuando logro una habitación en el Ashram, y un visado de larga duración, y Baba le dijo: "Quédate, esta es tu casa".
En 1992, Leslie y Verónica tuvieron su primera entrevista juntos y Swami le dijo a Verónica, "Administra la cantina ".
Verónica reportaba directamente a Swami.
Verónica no tenía ninguna formación previa en la gestión de una empresa o en cocinar para un gran número de personas. Pero se aprendió con muchos cocineros profesionales que la acompañaban periódicamente y nunca dejó la obra del Señor a excepción de un breve respiro cada año, cuando Swami estaba en Kodaicanal.
Desde hacia 5 años se levantaba a las 4 am , para obtener la leche para hacer gachas, y trabajaba hasta las 9:30 o 10:00 pm de la noche.
Baba le dijo: "Si tienes fe en mí, voy a reducir el Karma, pero si confías en mí, voy a comer tu Karma".
En su última conversación telefónica con su hijo, le dijo: "Lo único que quiero es sentira a Swami plenamente en mi corazón."
Antes de la cremación el miércoles 19 de septiembre, el cuerpo de Verónica sonrió con una sonrisa de felicidad que ninguno de nosotros olvidará jamás ...

Madam Veronica, Manager of Western canteen merges with Lord Sai.

I was blessed with a chance of visiting the Abode our Lord, Bhagavan Baba, as soon as I returned back from U.S.A. There I heard a sad news, that Madam Veronica Farkas breathed her last in that Holy land of Bhagavan. Many of the devotees would not have heard her name, but would have seen the charming and smiling face Veronica, as they enter the Western Canteen. She served as a Manager of Western Canteen from the year 1999, till her end.
Mrs. Margot reports further:
In 1986 Leslie’s Dad, Lazlo, asked Veronica what she wanted to do with the rest of her life.
Her response:” I want to find God and live with Him.”
Within a week, she was in possession of a book on Sai Baba which made her cry…, and within 2 weeks a Sai Baba devotee had moved next door…
Veronica made her first trip to see Sai Baba that same year and continued journeying to see Swami until1989 when she got an alloted flat inside the Ashram, a long term visa, and Baba told her,” Stay, this is your home”.
In 1992 Leslie and Veronica had their first interview together and Swami said to Veronica,”You run canteen. Son helps.”
Veronica reported directly to Swami.
Veronica had no prior training in running an enterprise or cooking for large numbers of people., but she learned both this after the professional cooks left, and never stopped the Lord’s work except for a brief respite each year when Swami was in Kodai.
For 5 years she got up at 4AM to get the milk to make porridge, and worked until 9:30 or 10:00 at night.
Baba said,” If you have faith in me, I will reduce your Karma, but if you trust me, I will eat your Karma.”
In her last phone conversation with her son she said, “All I want is to feel Swami fully in my heart.”
Prior to the cremation on Wednesday September 19th, the body of Veronica smiled a smile of bliss none of us will ever forget…
